  • Can't see a survivor in dying state hidden in tall grass on a dark map. How OP.🙄

Problem is, you give Claudette a perk and not Meg. Fine.

In my opinion, Hellraiser will be a DLC Paragraph, because Pinhead don't have a unique enemies as, for example, ghostface with Sidney. And with this, is explaine even why this sound not remember Ghostface, and why the number of the killer is 16 because this is a sound of a Hellraiser Paragraph, that, in my opinion, will released before the dlc of June, and in June will be a announcement of Ghostface DLC.

I hope only that, if there is a paragraph of Hellraiser, that the killer is Pinhead and not a useless cenobit.. as example what happened with a Saw DLC..

Who were they supposed to get for the Saw DLC, if not Amanda? An old guy with a cloak isn't scary, and he doesn't do the heavy lifting in any of the movies, so it's either Pig (a recognizable part of the films) or those other random disciples, Hoffman and the doctor guy.

  • Honestly, we need a Hell Priest/Pinhead chapter before the Ghostface one. I just think the Pinhead power would be more interesting than a Ghostface one.

  • Soooo...you saw the Paulie Esther video, too?

  • If this "experiment" had been done in rando lobbies, I'd be more willing to accept its findings, but cherry-picking 4 survs who've been playing since release and then acting like it's how the average survivor plays is seriously flawed. Besides, I'm skeptical of anyone who puts "one of the best killers in the game" in their Twitch profile.

  • The combat straps are nice now that they've buffed crouch time. Other than that, I usually just play her without the add-ons

What are the major issues you are suffering, just saying that the "major issues" need to be changed does not help whatsoever

Listing them ad nauseam like everyone else doesn't help, either. The devs have already released a list of fixes they plan to implement in the near future, and people on the forums are still calling town hall meetings to announce they're no longer playing the game.

  • @BBQnDemogorgon said:

They said to expect the same until they say they're doing something different.

We know we are getting 3 more chapters this year so mid chapter will be soon then new chapter in June or July

If one of those chapters isn't Hellraiser, I'm gonna cry. 😥

do read the forum? a ######### ton of ppl are complaining about players disconnecting and deranking. and now tru3 does it and its ok because he shows that something is wrong? are you for real? he is a big streamer and shows now to his viewers that its ok to dc. even if he cant find games its not ok to do that, especially as a streamer.

Nowhere did Tru3 say he would derank by dc'ing. That's everyone applying their own assumptions onto the deranking statement. There are other ways to derank--in fact, with this pipping change, all you have to do is play casually and you're guaranteed a down-pip.

  • When you're being chased through corn, don't run straight. Rather, run in a wide circle, like you're racing on a racetrack, since scratch marks will become confusing for the killer to follow and you have a better chance at juking.

Haddonfield. Map blows for most killers with so many corners and line of sight issues. It's really common to get infinites along the fences which is really frustrating. A lot of survivors run Balanced Landing now which makes the houses a nightmare at times. It's easy for survivors to stealth around so you lose time as a killer. With the layout of the map, it's easy to get gens done as fast as possible. So yeah screw this map lol.

We can thank No0b3 for the uptick in Balanced Landing users.

@Bongbingbing Well they said we'll be getting dedicated servers in the summer. According to some the first day of summer will be June 21st in 2019. So since it's nearly April I'd say we have 3-5 months before we get dedicated servers, ideally. So in just 3 more days steamcharts.com will have the net player gain or loss for March done. Once I get these numbers I should be able to make some predictions in trends.

Best case scenario is that we somehow gained more players in March and will keep gaining. Worst case scenario is we lost players in March and it's just a matter of seeing how fast they can fix everything and get dedicated servers working before attrition claims the community.

Devs said the end of summer, so end of August is likely

It doesnt matter at all whether you play survivor with M/K or with controller, it only matters as killer.

This onyl means that console survivors will have to face "real killers" now, nothign else will change

Doesn't even matter with every killer, really, except killers that need near-perfect accuracy, like Huntress, Nurse, Billy. Like someone said, the FPS thing is the biggest drawback. PC players are always overestimating the superiority of M&K with this game. I play PC DBD, both killer AND survivor, with controller and have no problems at all, even getting from Rank 10 to Rank 1 last season with no add-ons and perks with Pig. One does not need perfect accuracy to strike a hit box shaped like a giant pill. 😂

  • Another vote for Legion, although Hag is almost right up there with them, too, since I don't run Urban and getting anywhere on the map is a chore and takes eons.

  • Honestly, I'd rather a game mode with new mechanics, objectives, etc. The same old DBD with stuff taken out here and there doesn't do it for me. Besides, you can do your own perkless mode in the game now by unequipping everything.

  • You must be talking about the small perk icons. That simply means that the effects of that perk (We'll Make It, Leader, etc.) are activated while you see that icon. It allows you to know if a nearby survivor is running a perk that can help your gameplay, like fast heals, increased luck, repair speed, etc.

@Shad03 Not exactly better controls, at least in my opinion. I’m still adjusting to pc after months and it still feels like finger twister XD

When I made the switch from PS4 to PC, I just continued to use the PS4 controller. I could never get used to M&K for a game that requires such tight turns and quick response times.

  • I'm just tired of the constant "thicc, thicc, thicc" every time she's spoken about. It's becoming the new and unfunny "Nea is the killer."

  • I got all the way from Rank 10 to Rank 1 using no add-ons or perks with her. Just like any other killer (minus Freddy, maybe), it depends on how you play her.

  • Never in my almost 2000 hrs of playing on both PC and Console have I ever come up against a nice Laurie Strode. They're ALWAYS toxic.

Plague's map is a perfect example of this. Perfect chance to add a desert/arid themed realm to the game, slaps a large ass ruin in the middle of the Red Forest realm instead.

Every new realm means a new offering in the blood web for that realm. I, too, am frustrated by reused realms, but I understand the motivation behind it. Autoheaven, McMillan, Coldwind, etc are all realms with multiple maps, so it wouldn't make sense to continue creating new realms for each DLC that will only have one map to them. It's a waste of bloodweb space.

  • Well, I think he's good at the game, as far as streamers go. DBD literally has tens of thousands of players at any one time, so it's impossible for anyone to truly know who's the "Best in the game." At least he doesn't let his fanbase boost him up like Marth "I'm one of the Top Killers in the game" 88.

  • Ya'll must love hearing that annoying booming music that plays while you're injured. Good luck. I'll keep my Self Care.

  • There's a Pinhead bobblehead on the desk of a BHVR employee in that new Plague making-of video they just posted, so perhaps that's a hint as to the next DLC.

  • @Jesya said:

I hope they give us a full overview of the new chapter and explain some lore and how they came about the new killer/survivor.

I'd also like them to discuss their roadmap for optimization and what's on the pipeline for Freddy like a status update on that rework.

I am very happy they decided to show us the new chapter this way instead of seeing it in the PTB first. All platforms get to experience seeing the new killer at the same time. This way just feels more complete and there is real hype around it. 😁

Who said they're showing us the full chapter? They might just be announcing the PTB, perk reworks l, etc.

  • Crossplay would be fine. Anyone saying, "Console killers would get wrecked by PC survivors" has clearly never played on PC with a controller. It all depends on what you're more used to -- controller or K&M.

  • The Mali flag is just an in-house name for the chapter, and it's impossible to speculate on an original killer, since it literally could be anything. If the devs ever announced a licensed DLC, then I can see myself speculating, since options are limited.
  • 25% of the perks in the game would be useless. I think it should definitely be a "Nightmare" game mode that implements this, though
  • They're only doing them if/when there's something important to announce or go over.

  • @DemonDaddy said:
Fine by me, but nothing really changed as some killers will prefer to get rid of it early especially if you still close to a hook. Best hope your not sandbagged.

Why is farming so common? Well because the game copies the f2p formula. By that I mean it's a grind and that's what happens when your game is too grindy hehe. I bet it wouldn't be as bad if we earned more shards for ranking up or the cosmetic prices were lowered.
People farm for blood points, not shards or cosmetics.

LOL, here we go with this speculation that everybody gets wrong until PTB day. Everyone swore up and down it was Kuchisake-Onna or whatever it was. My general feeling is that original killers are pointless to speculate about, because it literally could be anything. Licensed is a lot easier, but since the devs promised another original killer this year, then all this speculation is for nothing.

You must be fun at parties

When there're fun things to talk about, sure, but not when there's mindless speculation and wild, illogical guesses like "A Pirate Killer with Jack Sparrow as a survivor!" or "That random monster from that random franchise that bombed at the box office! I KNOW it has to be that one!" :|

Search up what a kill joy is.

I would hope you know what one is already considering you are one.

Yes, because the DBD forums are just so full of joy and I'm killing all of it. 😂

    1. Blowing up a gen at the beginning of the match and continuing to work on that same gen. Newsflash, Nea: the killer is DEFINITELY coming.

This isn't always true. If the killer is chasing someone else they won't bother to come over to your gen. It's actually more important you keep working on the gen and just run when you see/hear the killer, otherwise you waste time hiding pointlessly.

I agree, running before the killer is in sight/terror radius is silly. A good player should stay on the gen.

When I play killer, I've caught so many survivors this way, so I think it depends. As a survivor, I always leave. Not worth the risk, especially if it's Spirit or Pig.

That's probably because they weren't actually paying attention or they didn't have an escape plan if you showed up.

I always look for the closest window or pallet and make a B-line there if I see the killer.

I main Pig when I'm playing killer, so they usually don't see. That's why I said it's not worth the risk. Can't count how many survivors I've literally pulled off gens after they've continued repairing.

^ /Cries endlessly for killer buffs and Survivor nerfs and gets them patch after patch (because Dev-Killer hand-holding)

^ /Brags about how easy their crutchfest is?

    Hmmm.

Please refer to the post(s) where I "cried endlessly" for killer buffs and survivor nerfs. If you're referring to other killer mains, then I suggest you address them personally instead of bringing it to me. And Pig's crouch is a crutch now, apparently.

    True

Really weird if you think about it too, usually the victims play in 1st person for more horror

Hmm well people are always talking about adding a new gameplay mode. Maybe they could just have a mode were you play in 3d person for killers and 1st person for survivors.

3rd person killer with 3rd person survivor would already be unplayable, but if BHVR wants to waste it's time working months on a game mode that will be played once and then abandoned with the quickness, then they'll make 3rd killer/1st survivor.

  • Why is a mori BM? Its an in game item, DS is also fair game as it's an in game perk.

The problem isn't them being disrespectful it's the players wanting the other side to play by made up rules they deem acceptable.
I think he refers to the Mori canceling over and over again as a BM tho
How many times does Mori spam actually happen, though? If anything, it's wasting the killer's time and raising the chances the survivor will just D.C.

Playing with your friends isn't cheating, I'm sorry you haven't any friends to play with. That is def not how you make any.

I think the term, "cheating" is the wrong word to use when it comes to SWF. Maybe people should associate the term, "unfair" instead. The reason I say this is because SWF have several perk abilities without using the actual perks. For example, they have Bond, Premonition, Spine Chill, Kindred, Window of Opportunity, Modified Boiled Over (body blocking), etc. Also the added fact that they can strategize loadout builds pre-game, know how many totems have been destroyed or if a Hex is in play without the game telling you, SWF can communicate through voice (no emotes) at an unlimited range throughout the map. It's these types of advantages that make people petition against SWF because it literally feels like a game cheat inside of a multiplayer game. I would like to reiterate that SWF tactics are legal (as stated by the devs) but it doesn't change the fact that it cheapens the co-op survival horror aspect of the game by taking away the fear of the unknown, the RNG aspect of the game, etc.

    Fine, it's unfair, then.
