Not the mmr you'd like an imput from, but Thana was not really that effective in lower mmr either, I feel.
Beginner players are allergic to being injured and often group up to heal or bring self-care and botany, even when it might be wise to stay injured and do gens.
I never used Thana on my Legion, since I feel like I always got better Nurse's Calling value.

Hey there HugtheHag,
I'm so sorry you had to deal with such behavior in your game. If the video can't be uploaded to the ticket directly, you can upload it to youtube (mark it as unlisted) like kizuati mentioned, and link it where it asks for Description of issue/request on the Support ticket. That'll be more than sufficient to make sure video evidence is attached with the report!
Thank you for the answer ! I will do that.

Best maps esthetically : Garden of Joy, RPD, Dead Dawg Saloon
Maps I like playing on the most (whether survivor or killer) : Yamaoka Estate, Dead Dawg, Crotus Prenn, Ormond
-
I like how the camping icon is Bubba.
Way to take it in stride I guess haha.
-
Survivor queues are instant because the role feels neither fun nor rewarding to a lot of players right now.
It sounds like it's the worst time to play both killer and survivor, apparently.
-
That's genius. Balls to the wall with your p*rn VHS.
Fitting !
-
Rest in Peace, Thana. You'll go right there in the same place of my heart where Ruin took refuge after its nerf.
...
Joking, I main Legion. (And also, don't run Thana.)
-
The problem is not really that they thought to make a balance fix for Thana because of its effects on Legion and Plague.
It's that the balance fix literally makes it strong literally only on Legion and Plague.
-
Spies from the Shadows on both killers I play.
Hex : Third Seal on Hag for the sheer chaos factor.
Nurse's Calling on Legion because people still heal against them in my mmr.

My main concern was:
"If I'm getting the baby killers, what killers are the baby survivors getting?" Then we wonder why new people come in here and say the game feels miserable for them.
Oh, if you're wondering, we're getting really random killers !
I have about ~100h in the game, and I'm either getting killers who are on their first games in this role, or players who have several thousand hours on the game and at least 600h on killer.
It's about 20% new killers, 50% experienced killers and 30% killers my skill level.
-
... Why can't i unsee it ?
-
It has not yet been acknowledged, but it has been reported by several people and more and more players are aware of it.
It is probably either being tested to assess the conditions of the glitch, or let be for the time of the Attack On Titan event.
I heard there are many glitches that came with 6.1. and it takes time to adress them all.
-
(I think your first example has a typo in it, since they decreased the speed of gens and not increased it)
To be fair, Ruin gets deactivated when a survivor dies, but the perk was pretty much already ruined before it (pun intended). No other killer perk comes to mind that gets deactivated midgame on its own.
I really hate the conspicuous actions as well though.

I think you forgot the OTHER positive to 6.1.2.
Clown is back :)

Yes. It absolutely is Trapper's masculine sexuality. It makes me shake in my boots, I'm actually half hoping he'll catch me !
-
Might lead to more slugging. Joy.
-
They did goof that one up. I mean, it's about as well handled as Mettle of Man, so at least they are consistent in their decision-making.
-
I dont think dead people should count, otherwise the game would get consistently harder for survivors the fewer of them remains, which is fine in theory but when you still have gens to do and are only 2 left it's already a miraculous feat to escape. It really doesn't need to get any harder.
-
Is this about Sky Billy ?
-
Killer instinct is really fine in my opinion ! Especially considering on some killers you can actively avoid triggering it (PH for example)

RPD and Eyrie

Sadako cute, Dredge not that cute.

Why would normal hits need validated ...? The OP is clearly not happy about pallet hits...Which are validated by the server, and which information comes in first
Normal hits would need validation because if the killer is laggy and still sees the survivor in front of them within reach, the hit will be registered even if the survivor's hitbox is no longer in reach on the survivor's side. That way, lags are to the killer's advantage. I understand why they are not validated, but it remains mildly annoying.
Such hits at pallets can happen, in some cases even after the survivor is on the other side of the pallet and pulled it down, because on killer's side it appears as though survivor isn't yet.
I am not an expert though, so I can't and won't delve into the details. There are pretty thorough analysis on hit registration available in the forums though if you're interested.
-
Personal highlight as survivor : Hard to say, maybe feeling like I did one (1) correct chase. It makes me feel like I'm at least improving a little.
Personal highlight as killer : It may be dumb, but making friends with survivors. Having a fun game messing around, hide and seeking, slug racing, survivors being cheerful in endgame chat. I like playing killer normally too, of course, but it gets repetitive sometimes. The games I remember the best and that made me actually happy (rather than simply victorious) were chill games where no one gets salty and everyone is enjoying themselves.

Yea. That's not true at all. Pallets and dead hard(not so sure after the change to that one) were made to now be server sided. It's based off of whichever information is sent in first.
It's not killer sided anything. So please don't spread false information
I didn't say pallets were. I didn't talk about dead hard. I said (regular) hit registration was done from the killer's side, which it is. There is only server validation if the lag is more than 300ms.
-
I would appreciate confirmation of this as well, since it all rings true to me but matchmaking sometimes feels weird, and I'll be queued against people with 900% more gametime than I.
I also wonder how matchaking deals with people of different mmrs queueing together.
-
Legion !
-
It is pretty funny. I don't know what goes on into their heads but with the pressure from the chase, chances are they don't know either !
-
[EU, Low mmr]
Most frequent killers to see before the update were Huntresses and Legions, but now it's very varied. I've seen kilers I'd never gone against before. People are trying things out it seems !
-
7k. I generally buy one perk per Shrine of Secrets, but I should maybe buy characters as well. Only problem with that if that I don't have the time or motivation to farm and prestige them then.
-
Playing in EU region and on low mmr, very few survivors willingly throw games in my experience. They're just casuals and beginners, and therefore not good enough for the disproportionate increase in difficulty for players who have not yet invested several hundreds of hours into the game.
-
I'd be salty from an all-slugs as well, but they were out of line taking it in postgame chat with actual insults and threats.
-
Always appreciation from me for such killers !
I do it a lot as killer as well, and so far I'm lucky that most times survivors actually realize what I'm doing (I mean, I make it pretty obvious as well) and are pretty well mannered at the gates and in the chat. If there is any teabagging it's generally all in good fun as I'm headbanging and moonwalking with them.
-
In my opinion, farming is okay if everyone is okay with it.
Forcing someone to farm is not okay. If the person wants to leave the game, either let them die or let them go.
-
Nemesis could use some other skins, yes !
-
I like RPD. I feel like it's almost as confusing for survivors as it is for killers. It's more enjoyable as killer in my opinion, since seeing the gens' auras make it easier to navigate.
I've personally done really well on it yesterday as Hag, since tight corridors are good for traps.
I might be biased, because I also really like The Game (but not as Hag, my GOD are traps visible on that map), though I mostly like it because as Legion I don't mind pallets that much.
-
The only problem I see with the new prestige system is that being forced to prestige makes it more expensive to get good add-ons, but the devs have apparently acknowledged this and are working on it.
The other issue I can see happening is that yes, you can start a new character with 30 tier 1 perks, but that adds even more randomness to the bloodweb, since finding the ugrade of the perk you want is now less likely.
But let's be honest, it was already an issue when you had lots of teachables or shrine of secret perks unlocked.
Maybe we could get less maps and more perks ?

After a boop ? :O

I really don't think the survivors currently DCing are investing hours of their days to repeatedly die or DC, just to chuckle to themselves about how they're befuddling the devs. If some of them do, and actually think their action has any meaningful impact, they're being delusional.
My bet is that these survivors are just fed up with the state of their games (which are affected not only by the base kit changes but also the rise in toxicity of gameplay these past two weeks) but are so used to playing they can't just suddenly quit the game to take a break for a while. It's a weaning period. (What makes me say this is that low mmr, people who aren't used to playing regularly, has much less people actively throwing or DCing if something goes wrong, despite being much more exposed to unbalanced games, at least in my experience)
I do agree that not having skillchecks during the struggle phase would be incredibly pleasant, whether it be to prevent suicide and therfore buy more time for the other survivors, or to be able to tab out and do something else while being camped without dying faster and sabotaging the team.
I'm not sure about deactivating self-unhooks. I've had a Bill kobe'ing and saving my skin yesterday (though I think he was trying to off himself since we were in basement). What I think is that if this function is deactivated, players should get compensation for any bloodweb elements they're getting that relies on luck, since these offerings would be rendered useless.
-
I didn't use them before unless on Hag for setup time. I still don't now.

Up until this patch I tried really hard to see things that way. But I just can't anymore. Killers are so insanely unreasonable that I can't put up with it anymore.
SoloQ needs a little loving, because it's miserable.
~No, every survivor is a toxic 4man SWF with 4 toolboxes who BM at every opportunity and now cry because we don't have dead hard.
Maybe at least Nurse's addons can be looked at?
~Nope, we are whiny survivor mains who are salty that without DH we can't bully killers.
Literally nothing gets through to their heads. Literally zero empathy. I'm done being nice.
It can definitely feel that way, especially in these forums.
I hope you'll meet more reasonable killers in the actual game. I know I did commonly before the update, and I know they didn't disappear. :)

Seems you lot know how to find these totems you have trouble doing when you want a circle of healing or exponential boon up for you but can't seem to have time for them any other time how convenient. I run a perk that actually helps me find totems to cleanse its not a bad perk you should look into it :)
I literally do not understand what your point is.
I do not think you understand what mine is either.
Let's not elaborate on them.
-
Hit registration is done on the killer's side, if killer is lagging and still sees you in front of them, it'll hit, even if you're on the other side of the Atlantic by then.

Please, don't post about this. This post will notify the devs and then they will nerf him. We have to pretend as a community that Oni is not broken so Oni mains don't get nerfed, for the greater good of the killer community
I mean... No one here wants him nerfed. We want him working as he should be. Poor guy doesn't have his anger management meetings, he's clearly unhappy !

Cause the game becomes much harder when the survivors see you put your traps down. I don't trap in the back corner with no gens, but by the time hag gets across the map they've already popped 2-3 gens, I get into a chase or two and 1-2 more will pop.
I don't know on which mmr you are, but I play Hag from time to time and you really shouldn't be afraid of one gen or two popping while you set up. Still, while you're in your setup phase, you should still maybe patrol slightly and kick the gens (which is a habit you might not have if you were used to Ruin like I was) to make the survivors scramble somewhere else. This will allow you to place traps near the gens, through shortcuts, and also prevent the survivors from popping too many of them.
I recommend Spies from the Shadows to assess where the survivors you scare off run, and make sure they don't see where you put your traps. It will also allow you to hear if they stay in the same area, and chase them to make sure the gen has time to regress (especially if you're running Overcharge in replacement to Ruin). Spies is really overlooked as a beginner perk, but it's actually extremely helpful.
It's also okay not to be fully set up for your first hook(s). I generally hook my first survivor with only 5-6 traps placed, because that way it puts a bit of pressure on them and lets me place the rest of them. Depending on if you run Devour Hope, you might want to place a trap near the hook or where you anticipate the survivors to hide and heal.
A bit more "sweaty" I guess, but you can also easily plant a 3-gen by trapping heavily one of the sides of the maps.
I don't know what kind of add-ons you use, but I always run with faster setup time and teleportation range, to be as mobile as possible (Hag running a bit slower than other killers)
I hope this might be helpful, I'm learning Hag right now and I've found this to work pretty well so far for me !

They think it is because they think it should be.
