  • @Azurlynx Legion needs to get into fatigue which gives Survivors a head start and Legion has crap Vault speed, the decreased speed doesn't have to be a lot like Clown's bottles but just enough to make Legion deadly. Of course, I don't know the percentages of Clown's bottles and just how slow they make Survivors, it could be so low that anything lower would not be recognized so that could be an issue with my idea.

Also being unable to perform actions compared to actions making the DW go down is probably better, at any moment they can stop the action, maybe the Gen is at 99% and then they Mend so I see your point.

  • That's Haddonfield, also I just realized that there is no way Behavior can get Sydney or Woodsboro because they only got the license for the mask from Funworld and not the character of Ghostface meaning Scream and any of it's characters. Ghostface has two owners, the mask from Funworld and the character from whoever the ######### owns him.

  • They need to keep the ######### changes they made so they can build off of them and fix him, it's much better PR wise to fix something broken rather than tone down something broken.

Anyway, Legion was gutted into a asthmatic psychopath who has more breathing problems than Clown. The first fix they need is to bring back the Vault Speed, and revert the awful nerfs to the cool-down add-ons. That would fix Legion's effectiveness in chases tremendously, he'd still be an M1 Killer and his DW would still be #########, and his FF would still cut out a second before reaching the 2nd Survivor but he'd still be more effective in a chase.

After that then they can eventually focus on his ######### DW, how about let us see blood, ######### was that taken out?

MY PERSONAL FIX--DW slightly decreases Survivor movement speed and the DW timer goes down when they work on Gens, totems, heal others, open the Exit etc. Basically if they choose to do anything like work on Gens while in Legion's TR their DW timer goes down so they're forced to Mend instead of making progress. That makes DW an actual threat and slows down Gen progression. In exchange for slower movement speed Legion's Vault Speed can remain that of a fat ass trying to hop a fence.

  • (Rare) Medical Journal---after studying human anatomy you know right where to strike. Successful Dash Attacks inflict the Deep Wounds effect.

(Rare) Not sure what to call this---after a Survivor searches 2 Jigsaw Boxes they have the option to take off their mask in exchange for it being placed on another random Survivor with 15 seconds taken off their timer.

  • Any change to make Mending a REAL threat instead of the make believe fantasy it is now would be a QoL change.

For realism I think Survivor movement speed should be decreased while they have DW, this would help Legion since his Vault Speed got nerfed for some reason. If you're ''bleeding out'' then moving fast isn't really an option.

WHAT IF, interacting with Gens and totems etc decreased your Mend timer like interacting with objects increases your Sickness gauge with Plague? This would force Survivors to Mend within the Killer's TR before they do Gens. Normally they don't care if they're bleeding because they are within the TR and can do whatever they want but what if that in itself made the timer go down and forces them to stall the game and Mend before going on the Gen?

  • Personally I think this perk should have tokens, each hook is a token, you spend the token by kicking a Gen. To make it function just the same you could limit it to a max of 1 token. That way you don't lose momentum by kicking a Gen instead of chasing a Survivor or you chase a Survivor and miss out on kicking the Gen and it's still fair because it's just 1 Gen AFTER a hook and you can't stack tokens.

  • Well in the questionnaire they did ask if we would be interested in a package kind of like a season pass and that looks something like that. I mean if we can still buy things singularly then buying a pass isn't important for a season, I don't like most cosmetics anyway since I only play 2-3 Survivors and a handful of Killers.

  • @Zarathos Well if we keep getting early game perks like Corrupt Intervention it would help out certain Killers, but the problem is that they're PERKS and Killers only have 4 and sacrificing two perks just to start the match isn't right.

Anyway, I do love skill based Killers but I do want another brute force Killer, a simple Killer like Billy who can ######### you up HARD but simple. Myers is technically that but he is a still a stealth based Killer so he can't be classified as brute force. There's a difference between ''I can Kill you in a minute from now, completely'' and ''DID YOU DROP THE SOAP!!!''

  • @TheShape78 and yet somehow we got Quentin for Freddy lol

  • @fcc2014 oooh that's badass, just picturing Randy in this game is sweet.

  • My personal win is if I dominated the Survivors, if they escape feeling ''oh ######### ######### yeah I actually got out'' that's a win. My minimum requirements for a personal win is two kills, since I can't actually read emotions over long distances through a video game I can at least know that if all 4 get out they are feeling pretty superior and that's a loss.

  • It's highly unlikely she's in it, as far as I know the entire patch with all it's content was leaked and no Sidney to be found. I REALLY SHE IS THOUGH, I would love Sydney to be in this game, compared to the other Licensed Survivors Sydney is a fighter, yeah Laurie and Ash are fighters but it took them a bit to get there, Sydney has ALWAYS been a fighter even in the first film.

#########, one of her perks could be something that turns the Killer's power against them, just like at the end of the first movie where Sydney caught the reins and called the Killers ######### with them for a change.

  • I think 2v8 might be too much, maybe 2v6? They would have to tweak the points system which they'd probably do anyway since it's completely different.

I think the only way they could do it is with Dedicated Servers, it looks like they are looking into some of the new things we've been asking for and we don't know what their priorities are but they are working on adding player suggestions and I do hope this implement this one. But it will definitely take a long time to create since it's an entire mode separate from the main game, I just hope when they do it they won't implement too strict rules with it, because there are some Killer combos that would destroy many teams if they weren't coordinated.

  • Any more info on the Freddy Rework you said you'd give more info about this month?

  • The collapse is 2 minutes, I think 2:30 if you're slugged, it's not long. But if it's really a problem then they should take out the Cypress Mori and make it base so that way the Killer can Mori the Survivor instead of waiting 2 minutes to get a different kill animation.

  • Paulie Esther showcased Ghost's add-ons today and guess what one of them does...increase crouch movement speed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STeM3xrzVPc

Is Pig going to see this?

  • I do hope the image we got was unfinished, it's kind of meh, the extra cosmetics that go with it are bleh, they look like cheap knock offs you'd find at Walmart.

I also have opinions on his power but this is still the Mid-chapter for 11 so I'll wait until this is actually ready to be talked about. I will say that there were tons of really good ideas out there, no I'm not talking about the phone ability.

  • I think if Class Photo becomes base then the Devs will find some way to make Freddy ######### in more important areas in order to make him ''balanced''. You could say that's what balancing is but if it completely ruins the character in favor of 4 Survivors, that's not balanced nor asymmetrical.

  • A fellow Goth? ######### yeah!

When I want to be toxic I play Meg, most Meg players I come across are crouching tiger hidden slugs who refuse to waste their Sprint Burst.

If there was another Survivor who had clothes that were edgy, like David's Punk outfit then I would switch to them.

  • Nea has the best clothes, you just jealous.

  • They did the math, they saw that even with the increased Fatigue and the buff to the cool-down add-ons that he was still strong so they nerfed the add-ons and kept the fatigue.

I think they were afraid of any backlash of Legion still being strong as a sign that they failed and didn't want to take any chances of Legion being slightly oppressive in any way so they went full throttle with the nerfs.

Ironically, this in itself has caused backlash to the Devs for doing the one thing they are known to do, screw over Killers in favor of Survivor outcry, they don't mean to do it but they do it anyway because they don't want to lose their fans. They even said they didn't want to pull too many levers at one time but they're like Gretchen on Bob's Burgers who thinks ''pump the breaks'' means go harder.

The Legion nerfs are fine but the FF Vault speed nerf and the cool-down add-ons are too much, those were unnecessary and went too far, without those nerfs Legion could actually be perfect. He wouldn't be oppressive and still be good at anti-loop which is what his vault is all about, anti-loop and they screwed that over completely, it's like nerfing Clown's bottles.

  • I think if you keep the Mending action but make the DW decrease Survivors movement speed, keep the bloody visual effects, make them bleed more, and make more noise, that could work even better.

Slower Action speed is great and all but an ability that also stacks with Thana, with someone who injures Survivors 99% of the time seems too much.

If the DW makes Survivors move slower, make them bleed more, make more noise, and have the bloody FX this will entice Survivors to want to get rid of the effect, and if they don't want to then you can track easier than before and catch up even faster. Basically it'll be an ability that makes hunting Survivors easier when you decide to hunt them. You can't loop for very long when your speed is cut by a quarter.

Also, it'll give the illusion that Survivors are bleeding out without actually doing it.

  • Freddy IS a great Killer, a lot of people, even in this thread refuse to understand or even try to look at him differently, that's ignorance.

Freddy is a prototype for Spirit, they do the same thing but Spirit does it better. Freddy's ability is to mindgame Survivors, but of course they know that so they use his ability against him. People do this to Spirit as well but unlike Freddy she can counter their unwillingness to play the game with super speed.

I used to be excited for the Freddy rework but after the recent changes to Legion, some of them being unnecessary and crippling, I can't trust the Devs anymore to respect ma boi or us. I am constantly afraid they'll ruin him but I have hope he won't be as bad as Legion, ######### Legion will be the new worst Killer now.

  • Decreasing the time to open Exits was not necessary, nerfing Remember Me was even worse.

Screwing up Pig's traps was not necessary, the Collapse is 3 minutes and there are 4 boxes, 3 minutes to search 4 boxes if the Gates are open. I understand the stress of the Collapse will make it harder for the Survivor to get the trap off but making traps not work in her TR and not turn on automatically even after the last Gen was finished screwed her hard, so much harder than the coveted Endgame Collapse does for Survivors.

The Legion nerf is a joke, there are so many unnecessary nerfs in this patch for Legion, some are good but others are just redundant and make him unplayable. If Trapper had Killer Instinct when someone got trapped he would still be more powerful than Legion and he's always been an M1 Killer.

  • @Tru3Lemon said:

1.- youre idea of fixing the hatch its bad it give more benefit for killers and some survivor suicide on hooks so no

2.- b) fine by me could work

3.-remember me should stay the same or even gets a buff

    4. - nah

5.-reason its that she can be a overkill killer in the endgame with the trap thats why

6.-really.... I can smell a baby killer main

@Tru3Lemon MoM is a better D-Strike, it replaces the old D-Strike and everyone knows it.

  • Legion used to be a high-octane speed Killer who could multi-task efficiently, it was really fun to play that kind of character. These changes seem too over the top, in all honestly it looks like they intentionally made a whole bunch of bad changes to ruin the character, not to make it fair but to RUIN. This new Legion could be good if they took away some of the ridiculous changes they made, like you were saying with the blood, lockers, some parts of the DW.

This is worse than what they did with Freddy, in a week they ''nerfed'' him and then waited a long time before announcing a rework that has been taking even more to even hint what it is. Now with Legion they nerfed him into the ground and probably won't fix him until a year from now.

I get that Legion is complicated and hard to make fair but some of these changes are good and do make Legion fair, but most of the changes ruin the character and are unnecessary.

Your changes would let Legion stay as a an adrenaline Killer who runs around stabbing people and getting blood all over the place while still being fair. Your changes literally took out the stupid ######### they needlessly added for no good reason. No pools of blood in Frenzy? WHY?! What was the reason that they had to put that and the other changes which make the blood thing redundant? You can't Moonwalk because of the TR and the DW won't go down in Mending so Moonwalking is impossible, why go the extra step of taking out the blood?

  • @Frozenscum I know, I mentioned that. That little part is cool, it's a good change and a must change. The Problem, is that when it's a normal game and the Hatch isn't open and you got 2 or 3 Survivors then the Perk sucks, it isn't enough time to stall the Survivors, the breathing room is basically gone.

In one situation it's fair and right, in the other situation it's crap, that makes the perk unbalanced with itself. Is that right? Is that the right thing to do?

  • @Hoodedfengm1n Made Legion a 110% m/s Killer but kept the 32m TR just for you ;)

  • @Hoodied said:

HEY, you gave legion mercy, "SHOW...NO...MERCY"

    @Hoodedfengm1n Nerf Legion MORE?

  • @NuclearBurrito said:

Well they buffed clown a bit so REEE KILLER SIDED UPDATE!!!!

@NuclearBurrito ;) gotta give the little guys something so they'll stick around

  • @Andreyu44 said:

Wraith would still be top tier even after that fair nerf.

    Plz,nerf more.

@Andreyu44 ''As it is written, so shall it be'', I hope my new changes are better.

  • @brokedownpalace Yeah I'm not sure what to do with all these clocks

  • Legion's biggest thing, VAULTING has been made slower and their fatigue time has been increased as well. So they vault like a Survivor at pallets AND get fatigued for longer, the longer Fatigue was not necessary. Also thereduced charge add-ons are laughable, the charge is 20 seconds and the add-ons make them go down by three?

  • So RBT put on before the last Gen are turned on, but after the last Gen they DON'T turn on, I understand the changes but they destroyed Pig.

She was the best Endgame Killer and now she has nothing but BW and a ######### Remember Me. Like I said I get why they did this part but it still destroyed Pig.

Also wouldn't Crouching help Pig with headpops? Wouldn't this turn Pig into the new Legion? She can follow people wearing them now and force their head to explode. This is why they nerfed Legion to absolute garbage who vaults like a Survivor now.

All Pig has to do is put one on, hook em, wait nearby for a Gen to pop and creep behind them for a few minutes until they cry for PIG OP PLEZ NERF!!!

  • @Headlock Yeah the Collapse won't happen until the gate is opened and not the Gens done, it really should start when the last Gen is finished instead of when the Gate is opened.

    A) You can still give injured people Deep Wound, allowing you to set up a hit chain

    B) The purpose of yeeting over stuff is so that Survivors can’t just automatically shut down your hit chain by pressing space near one of the many blockades on the map

    C) I never usually have it come into play myself, since people don’t bother trying to loop a Legion.

They haven't been bothering to loop Legion because it wasn't possible, now it will be. I can see in a case where 1 person is injured so you smack them to find healthy Survivors yeah. My point is that the ability to hop over things isn't as useful anymore, originally it was to yes chain attacks but also to down someone at a loop. Now it's only for an instance at a loop to chain but other than that it has no real use other than setting up a chain.

Legion didn't need Bamboozle, now he does because his natural ability to hop has less impact and usage. Before you could hop and smack in a chase, now if you do it you better be chaining or you're an idiot for using your power.

  • @Chi said:

I doubt they will let anything touch the timer.

It is just going to make me play less survivor. At least, I will stop playing solo. Because it is going to make solo survivor end game hell. Everyone will just dip out. Unless there is an incentive to stay in. I hope they have thought of it, and have something in place for it.

@ChiThat's the point, they WANT YOU to dip out. Staying in is what caused Killers to cry out for this to be made.

  • Does the Killer get points when a Survivor is sacrificed by this Collapse?

Also does this mean we could see Killer perks/add-ons that effect this new Endgame? Go faster etc

  • So what say you on Legion's pallet and window hopping? I still feel that it's a useless tool now that you can't chain a hit with it on an injured person. With Iridescent Button it's of course badass but without it I see no real benefit from it unless it's the first hit.

  • @Dabrownman1812 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/57841/my-proposed-legion-additions

That lets him ignore pallets and windows like burse but with complete control and non linearity. No stun would make him stronger than nurse, dash hit, dash hit.

So after the dash, jump, hit, they get that speed boost. Legion dashes after them and then downs them. Yeah that's like Nurse except with no stun lol

Ok, it sounded good in theory but that makes it OP, crap. I guess we'll have to see what the add-ons do now. His FF is slower but lasts longer and he has normal speed so the double duration add-ons might not be as useful. Maybe stacked stun recovery will be Legion's new go-to add-ons.

  • I am worried, I didn't used to be but I am now. I do feel that he will be powerful in his own regard but I also feel that he will be so alien that I don't know him. Will we still enjoy Freddy?

  • The only way to fix the changes is to not have a stun from FF if you don't hit anyone, this way you can hop over windows and pallets and cancel the FF to get in a normal hit.

If they keep the stun then he has no anti-loop capabilities, he'll hop over, get stunned and keep chasing as if nothing happened and no skill with his power will ever result in any momentum because it's been gutted into a husk.

Sure he can pinball but then he's got nothing, his power will be no good for anything. DW is a laughable band-aid away from Mending so why apply DW? Pig's traps kill people and slow the game down, Legion's DW do nothing if they're anywhere near you and nothing while they Mend. It's like RBT stop ticking when Pig is close or when they are trying to take it off.

  • Legion shouldn't have a stun after FF anymore, because his DW is absolute garbage it's no threat and using your power to jump over pallets is a HINDRANCE because you need to cancel the power to hit them normally which gives you a stun, thereby destroying the point of hoping over a pallet in the first place because they just keep running.

The stun was to give Survivors time to run after you made their timer smaller with a hit, giving them a chance to run. But now that feature is gone so the best way to use the power is hop over pallets but if you don't hit anyone you shouldn't get the stun.

  • @SpaceCoconut said:

Deep Wound is a formality mechanic, it's not as threatening as it was before. I would compare it to the Pig's trap now. It's too easy to remove and the only way it will down a survivor now is if the survivor wants to go down.

Legion is now a Wraith without invisibility and an M1 speed burst after using their power.

This is why I think the time to Mend should be increased slightly, if the power is no longer an actual threat then it needs to be a nuisance and stall them longer.

  • @Croquedead said:

Yeah, except you know what happens to M1 killers without a power? They are garbage. They become Clown.

Clown at least has anti-loop capabilities, Legion no longer has the Bleed-out and his FF doesn't do anything so he has no anti-loop powers anymore. His Iridescent Button will be his best and most coveted add-on, unless they finally fixed the thing where when you jump over a pallet there's no room for the Survivor to jump back over it.

  • So, from what I'm gathering from everyone and the update is that, Legion is no longer a Bleed Out Killer, now he is a pinball Killer who can travel fast?

I can see several Survivors at a Gen you hit all 3 and chase one, the other two will either be doing the Gen or Mending and then Mend when you leave. I think the Mend timer should be increased for it lack of viability, it won't go down while you're close or when you Mend so it's no threat, therefore it should take longer to be a nuisance.

Also, until the frames are fixed console, Legion will be unplayable. Missing is EASY as Legion because of jukes and 360s which effect us more than the PC players. Missing a hit now cancels Frenzy and this hurts.

  • @Peasant said:

@HatCreature That's just rng. The maps are all randomly generated, save for the structures. You just have weird luck.

I hope it changes because I've seen some cool variations I would love to use.
