According to the Wiki it's, Hand - Torso - Legs.
Oh he's already in the Wiki? Ok cool thanks, well crap, Ash might be my first Survivor get more than 1 Prestige.
-
I use Spies because it's good, the 5 second cooldown will kill it and banish it again. Right now you can tell the direction a Survivor is going because of the constant crows going up. With the cooldown you'll get, ''oh they're there, well they're gone now, #########''.
-
FACTS
1.If healing takes too long/too fast the Gens get done quicker because they waste less time healing and focus only on Gens.
2.Killers running Sloppy makes healing take longer, wasting Survivors time healing and makes Gens go a bit slower. The more anti-healing perks you have the slower the heals and then you get #1
---
The only solution is balance, not too strong not too weak. Thana is still too weak and needs to be paired with another perk. FACT--If Thana gets a buff it is too easy to pair with another perk making anti-healing too strong and you get #1 again. Thana doesn't need a buff, it needs a rework to become strong in it's own way that doesn't allow it to be too easy to pair with another anti-healing perk.
-
Oh they got to see the line up of Killers too? Well that's good news, I thought the Devs actually scrambled after the release of every Killer to come up with something new lol I'm glad they don't push themselves that hard.
-
I hope it's not a licensing issue, I know people think it's weird I want the rework but I feel very strongly that the rework will make Freddy even MORE POWERFUL than he is now. Players shame him because it's a meme and don't take him seriously despite the fact they always get sacrificed. With the rework it will be a mind trick on them, ''look he's powerful now, good boy'' but in all actuality it will be like ''ha ha bitches you don't even understand!!!!''
So I really hope it's just a really good rework and not a licencing issue that's causing a delay, but some actual news would be nice.

Freddy can stroll up to 3 people working on the same generator, try putting them to sleep, and have each and every one of them get a skill-check before the dream transition ends. Then he can put them all to sleep again, and watch it happen again. If the RNG really hates him this can happen even with add-ons that reduce the chances of a skill-check.
They absolutely need to remove wakeups during dream transition, it's basically self-parody.
@The_Manlet The bright side is that whenever this happens they're just constantly regressing the Gen, honestly I laugh whenever this happens because it's a true stalemate, no one is getting anything done.
-
I knew this would happen, they didn't even say why they didn't like it or why it was taken out. They said they'll add in a new buff for it along with buffs to other perks, probably in the mid-chapter but still, I was so excited for this.

@HatCreature having discussed Freddy together a handful of times, I’m surprised you feel he needs a rework.
A rework would worry the hell out of me now that I know how to fully exploit his advantages. My worry being that in order to balance Freddy they would nerf some of the small things that make Freddy strong (can’t be body blocked or hook blocked by awake survivors for example)
@DudeDeliciousI feel he is fine the way he is, I just think the prospect of something new, possibly something better is exciting. It could be worse, but the possibility that it could be more exciting than it is now is intriguing to me. The Devs have made interesting powers and I'm curious mostly as to what they would do to change him, would it be ######### or would it be even better? It's not that I want it, I just want to know what it is, I don't like people promising something and not going through with it or just forgetting about it.
I don't want Freddy to get worse, but if their idea keeps the Freddy we have now just gets extra abilities, that's cool. But yes, I still do believe he is fine the way he is.
-
I wish we had this option on console, we can't change this kind of thing lol
-
There's lot of things you can do with Amanda, I'd like to tag @TAG and @PigMainBigBrain they're huge Pig players.
I'd like to say that right now she doesn't NEED any add-ons, they're all for fun right now. You don't need Combat Straps unless you just want them. If you're really into the Ambush then stack VHS tape and John's File for that. For Perks I do well with BBQ & Chili, Discordance, Surveillance, and Sloppy Butcher. So you got 3 locator perks and 1 for slowing down healing. Nurse's Calling is really good with Sloppy Butcher.
When I play Pig I never use Ambush, I just sneak up to them and stand back up, sometimes pulling them off the Gen.
-
Freddy buff, actual more Objectives not in Events, End game changes.
-
They never respond to questions about the rework, idk how far along they are on it, if at all. I made a decent rework that real Freddy players enjoyed and if the Devs aren't making any progress mine could work fine. I just want ma boi to be respected by people who don't understand him, we need him to make people scared again, inject him with a high dose of whatever was in those blue syringes, feed him some naked souls, something to wake him up.
And we need a New Nightmare cosmetic to go with it too :D
-
It has to do with the Mori cancel, if they catch the ''Mori'' at the start of the animation but you don't go all the way through then it's not actually a Mori and that's cheating/exploit mistake.
But yes I agree with you, it really sucks and it's ######### up, I got mine, the normal one with Devour and I was lucky.
-
This would probably be the best QoL change for Wraith, I hate DBD's ''stealth but not stealthy'' Killers. Wraith that isn't invisible, Pig with a scream, the only true stealth Killers are Myers, and Spirit with Beads.
-
And if they won they would have still done it, such children who miss their mommies and can't get enough attention, their gilded toilets are overflowing with the ######### they regurgitate after eating it.
-
Yes <3 I put this in the Cosmetics Wish post, if one of them gets a black hoodie and a top hat I could literally just play myself because that's what I wore in high school <3 I still wear it now but still.
-
Yeah I feel the same, it sucks you can't get info because someone else finished the Gen before you got there.
-
As a Survivor I love Saboing hooks, it's really fun but yes incredibly difficult and becomes a game in itself with skill and timing. Boil Over sounds like a great perk to add to my build for it. I've been running Sabo, Deliverance, and Breakdown. After the new patch comes I want to add the new D-Strike but maybe I'll use Boil.
As a Killer I of course despise Sabo squads but I'm ok with leaving everyone on the ground, they'll be laughing as they bleed to die and I will be too.
Also, I ######### hate other Sabo Survivors when I'm playing Survivor. I'll never forget my untimely demise thanks to a piece of ######### Ace who only went around Saboing hooks while everyone died around him. I don't know their name but I wish I did, I want sweet vengeance on his soul.
-
Ah that's nice, I used to intentionally play these games with Doctor, get maybe 2 hooks on everyone but mostly kick Gens and shock people.
This looks like it was a good time, especially since it was Clown <3
-
I don't get a lot of Mementos in my BW so I use Devour Hope, this helps but not really, I still get the DC even though it's counterable. It's ridiculous, I love getting Moried, show me my awesome demise at the hands of this beautifully created monster. I think the only time I don't like getting Moried is from a Tombstone Myers early in the game, like mid-game hell yeah but when other Survivors ######### up and feed the Michael and then I just happen to run-by by accident and get Moried, that's not fun. BUT I DON'T DC!
People who DC are ######### ass cowards who can't accept defeat, sore losers who play family board games and flip the game when they lose because it was unfair. Go cry in the corner you little ######### you're gonna live on the ######### street with that attitude.
-
Hmm, Shards are the in-game currency and a way to grind for cosmetics while Auric cells are the fast way to get cosmetics. If Devotion gave Auric cells then players would be buying less cosmetics and earning more of them, significantly cutting how much the Devs and crew get paid from this game.
I would say that I think we should get more than the max 300 Shards further up the ladder. Spending Shards on cosmetics takes a long time since some are 21k. I would up the max to 500 Shards.

You drag the survivor to a hook that is out in the open (much easier soon with the changes to Decisive Strike) and then wait outside of MYC range. Run towards the hook as soon as the unhook happens. If you're using power range addons you can put them to sleep long before you reach them. Use your power to scan around and look for hiding survivors.
@The_Manlet Ah thanks, I'll try this out :D really excited.
-
I like Fuming as is, it really helps with knowing where Survivors are at the beginning of the match which is important since I usually get Red ######### Forest as Legion.
But of the two rewokrs I like the first, it's a situational but alternate version of Frank's Mixtape. I can usually only hit two Survivors before misjudging the distance on the 3rd and running out of FF.
Question---do the requirements of rework 1 need to be fulfilled in 1 go of FF or is it something you build up to? Like you get two different Survivors in 1 FF but the next you get the 3rd and then bam number 4 goes down instantly?
-
I want everyone to be scared of me, of course one big way to do that is to tunnel the first Survivor to death because it makes everyone think they'll get the same treatment but that's not what I want.
I'm trying to go for ''oh ######### he's targeting me now'' instead of ''chase me, #########''. This is a Survival horror game and being scared/stressed is fun that's why people play them and that's what I try to get people to feel. Of course I rarely know when it works but I like to imagine I'm doing a ''pretty good job so far''.
-
Ok hold on, I've been wanting to use Make Your Choice on ma boi but for that to happen everyone needs to be in Dream World. What's your strategy on this?
-
Technically we already have one, the Swamp map without the boat has a huge dock as the centerpiece, if you imagine water in the swamp maps you'll see that all the buildings are docks.
Anyway having an actual wharf with water would be awesome. I personally want a lake map, one house on a central isle surrounded by water, on the outskirts of the lake is the rest of the map. Kind of like Rotten Fields but with water instead of corn.

Candle---To light your way through the darkness
Chamberstick Candle Holder---You feel slighter safer knowing where danger is and can see the Killer's Aura within 24 meters. Become slightly noticeable. Lasts 10 seconds and takes 3 seconds to light.
Candelabra---The path is slow but the path is clear, your movement speed is slightly reduced but you can see pallets and window within a 30 meter radius; makes you moderately noticeable. Takes 5 seconds to light lasts 15 seconds.
Lantern---You burn away the darkness by becoming a beacon. Your scratch marks are hidden but you become considerably noticeable. Takes 4 seconds to light lasts 10 seconds.
The idea behind this is that in normal Survival Horror games lights make you feel safer in the dark and you can do things easier, monsters aren't as scary. Obviously that can't work exactly like this in this game so I tried to capture that feeling. Candelabra is for beginners or people who suck at loops, it's like Windows of Opportunity but it's an item. Since you are lighting candles they glow so the Killer can see that flickering light whenever you use it, the Lantern emits the biggest glow and is used for chases while the Chamberstick is for sneaking.
If this isn't good enough or too powerful then that's fine, I just really enjoy Lanterns in games and when the Lunar Event came I was ecstatic but disappointed we couldn't see ourselves holding them. This is my attempt at finding an actual use for an item like that because I would carry one every game and not even care what the effect was as long as it turned bright :)

So there's a Q&A this Thursday talking about the new chapter so I'm thinking next Tuesday has the live update.

It really doesn't notify you unless you @ the person.
It would be really cool if being in chase with your obsession influenced the gens, along with hooking and killing them off. Doesn't "Dying Light" refer to like a last hope or something? It should impact the match whenever the obsession is going through something rough and it could be a nice defense against gen rushing to have it work while in chase, too. I'm not sure if it'll change with the DS change, but the person with DS is typically a runner, too, so you're wasting less time chasing them that way.
@fluffybunny so that's why I haven't been getting notifications for replies! I thought it was my internet or something else completely stupid, I didn't know that changed.

@fluffybunny said:
@HatCreature It would be multiple survivors if you HAVE to tunnel, but you don't. Nothing has changed, unless you make a habit of tunneling, which this perk was redesigned to address. If you're tunneling everyone off hook even after Dying Light is present, you kinda deserve to be d-striked.
This perk was already hard to get and now it's hard to keep. No one likes tunneling but this perks requires you to tunnel, and now not only do you need to tunnel 1 but now you have to tunnel MULTIPLE Survivors, yay fun.
Your rework isn't bad, though. It'd be better if the perk wasn't designed to just remove someone from the game right away. It would feel less tunnely. I know some people will bring in an ivory mori to counter the need to tunnel so much, but it still isn't ideal. I think the boosts should also come during chases, too. Like if you are in chase with the obsession, the gens are affected even a short time after the chase ends if you were to lose the obsession.
Oh I was trying to say if another Obsession entered the match because you rehooked someone in 60 seconds, you'd have to tunnel that new Obsession to get your perk back. I didn't mean to sound like I'd just tunnel anyone/everyone lol
The chase idea sounds really cool, Killers have a lot of perks tied to Gens which feels like a bad design choice but this also being tied to a chase sound really cool since it's the core feature of the game, chasing.
-
So for future posts like this there's a Fan Creations section further down the forums.
Anyway, this sounds interesting, not sure exactly how the Devs would do it since it could involve AI. But just the idea of a Killer with a huge bulldog and maybe wielding a baseball bat gets me thinking of a white trash ghetto killer. You know the one who probably played Basket ball in high school but now lives in a ######### trailer and raps hella bad but says their rhymes are fly and tries to make friends with the teens to look cool by buying them beer. You see them a lot in early 2000 movies wearing gray hoodies and usually have a beer in hand. Reminds me of this type of person which could be a nasty ass Killer.
-
While the argument is to not tunnel this shouldn't be a nerf to Dying Light. This perk was already hard to get and now it's hard to keep. No one likes tunneling but this perks requires you to tunnel, and now not only do you need to tunnel 1 but now you have to tunnel MULTIPLE Survivors, yay fun.
I'm spreading my rework every time I see this---When the Obsession is injured all other Survivors receive a penalty to action speed, when the Obsession is hooked the penalty increases. This penalty is reversed when the Obsession is unhooked and/or healed. When the Obsession is Sacrificed/Killed all Survivors receive a permanent penalty to action speed of 25%.
This means you can have a cheap penalty the entire match but earn the whole thing when the Obsession dies. Even if the Obsession returns you still benefit from this perk and tunneling isn't necessary.
-
Well the power is incredibly simple, I thought you were going to keep going but then it was over lol.
Bloodbath--this is cool and I like it but forcing yourself to go to Tier 3 Bloodlust is a waste of time and can cost you the game. But, this would be a great perk for beginners who just started the game.
Eternal Hunger---I don't know exactly how fast you go in Tier 3 Bloodlust but if it's worth getting then this is a cool perk. I would use this over Play With Your Food any day.
Hex: Spirit of The Beast---Action speed isn't that important on a Killer, that's why Fire Up isn't used much and for once that perk would be better than this because it's permanent and yours can be broken.
Hunter's Instinct---this sounds like Object of Obsession

Oh my I really hope this means this week, so excited for this chapter!! ♥️♥️
So this Thursday they have a Q&A on the chapter so I'm thinking next week because the Q&A probably has the tweaks they're changing from the PTB.
-
I'm not too concerned about it, you get a 10 second grace period after hooking them and that's long enough for me to skedaddle.
-
I Main Freddy, finally got my Prestige 3 <3 Besides the other tips I'd like to say that he is a slug master and can potentially be the best at slowing things down. My best build on him is Sloppy Butcher, Knockout, Thanatophobia, and Remember Me. After Plague comes out I might switch this up.
Basically you can slug your Obsession every time you see them and hook everyone else. If you have a hard time finding your Ob then go on a rotational slugging and hooking every other person, having 1 Survivor on the ground hopefully at all times. This way they're always under Thana which will be powerful soon, their numbers are split on objectives, and if you screw up you have Remember Me for one last chance. Freddy has Aura reading so he always knows where the slugged person is, if they disappear then you know where 2 Survivors are.
Using Monitor & Abuse on him is great for interceptions, letting Survivors run off during Dream Transition. Once you see their Aura they know you're not chasing them and they start running towards their Objective, with you getting real close and intercepting them around the corner with a hard ######### slap.
Last tip---you can walk through awake Survivors, you have no collision, if you get close enough while an awake Survivor is bodyblocking someone in the dream you could potentially swing through them hitting the sleeping Survivor. But remember there's auto-aim so you have to be close and practice.
I play on PS4, if you do too hit me up, I have same name.
-
Alternative Legion
Basically all 4 members could represent each of the alternative styles, Goth, punk, emo etc.. The Goth could have a top hat with a more Victorian style with a coat instead of a hoodie, the mask has a monocle taped/drawn over an eye-hole.
Susie could be the Cyber Punk since she likes fast techno. Her outfit could be more like the German Cyber Punk with the gas mask and braided hair.
Julie could be the emo reminiscent of My Chemical Romance. I'm Goth so I can't explain Emo to you lol
-
I really want a hook themed Trapper. He'll have huge hooks embedded into his back with chains dangling from them. His normal steel worker jumpsuit will have bloody tears in them and his arms have chains wrapped around them with locks.
Trapper's mask is a welded steel mask with ''horns'' which are hooks and his jaw is stretched down more than normal and has hundreds of spiney teeth. Not sure what his weapon could be, I'm just trying to create this gnarly dark metal theme.
-
Eventually the ''new'' maps will be over the number of base maps, we now have 2 Crotus Prenn, 2 Swamp, and soon 2 Red Forest maps, the Devs are working on expanding other realms apparently so the base maps will eventually be outnumbered.
I really want another MT. Ormond and another Lerys'

Where do you have that info from.

The Suffering was amazing, one of the few games with a Karma system that really played well with it and had real differences to go with it. My first play-through I screwed up bad and had to start over and I was lucky too because it looked like I was going to get the bad ending at first lol
Anyway, Torque would be awesome, perfect for the prison map from another thread. We need more brute strength Killers because we've been getting a lot of strategy, sneaky, indirect Killers lately. Torque would be powerful if done right, he could start off as human and then activating his Beast mode he transforms and gets faster, breaks things faster, etc The Survivor being the good Torque would basically be the otherside of the story where he was innocent and the Killer is him if he was guilty. Really cool thing to bring into this game.
-
From what I've been hearing she's going to be a little weaker in the live update, I heard she'll be slower while having Corrupt Purge giving her Huntress speed. She'll be weaker at loops with this but it gives her more counterplay and makes Bamboozle and Brutal Strength really strong on her.

I break all the totems before i start on gens. As a solo player, it really makes the other survivors upset bc i'm not a gen jockey lol.
I support this.
I also support removing character specific rituals, seeing as how I find some killers boring/toxic and if i actually cared about rank(some do, so...) taking a killer with perks that can't counter a lot of toxic plays or Legion(meh). I'd rather have to unhook 30 players with any character versus 3-5 with a character i don't play with. I understand its MEANT to make you play other characters, but since there is ONLY 'rank' play, taking an unleveled character into higher ranks will just end with you getting stomped or farmed.
I try to go for totems as much as possible but the teams I get pit with are just so bad. It's as if I don't do Gens or make the saves no one will, rarely do I find teams who actually know how to play the damn game.
-
Shameless advertising here, idk if you any of you saw it but I made my own rework for Freddy trying to honor his actual powers of being an actual threat in the dream world and not taking ######### from Survivors. While at the same time showing his other side as a human in the real world. I love Freddy and I wanted to make something that really fit him since he's the reason I bought this game, he's my all time favorite slasher and he just isn't himself in the Entity's realm and he's so weak compared to what he should be. Check it out if you want.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/51097/new-freddy-rework-for-fun#latest
-
Well it's the three original killers, maybe those BP are left over from years ago and never got changed? Also if you suck so bad that you can't Transition 4 Survivors as Freddy you need to stop playing this game.
-
I just thought of this, there should be an electric chair in the map and the Killer can put a Survivor in the chair. The catch is the chair will only activate when the last Gen is turned on, so having a Survivor in the chair when the last Gen activates or whenever all the Gens are already done immediately sacrifices the Survivor.
More interactables like this in the game would be fun.
