He requires too much effort and skill to warrant his strength. Why play him when you can learn nurse or blight who are both much easier, much better and have better add ons?
Also as far as I know his animations are still messed up and make it harder for him to see when he misses a saw
Yeah, that's just bizarre. You hit anything except a survivor and it looks like his limbs pop off and get thrown up across the screen.

You can lobby dodge SWFs with 4 flashlights, Survivors cant lobby dodge Legion or Twins, first hook suicide is the equivalent of that.
So much this.
If they added the option in to select a small set of killers you absolutely cannot tolerate so the game avoids matching you up with them, the number of DCs and hook suicides would drop dramatically. Also, Legion, Bubba, and Nurse would never get a match again.
-
Didn't waste money on it, whatever score that equals.
If they ever adjust both the killer & survivor to be fun and useful, I'll probably grab the DLC on a Steam 50% sale for the achievements. Otherwise, just get the perks that are half decent from the in-game store when they pop up.
-
I'll often double hook people then let them leave, unless they're toxic or a flashlight crew. Occasionally I do tome entries requiring X number of kills, so there's a kills sprinkled in. Far easier to collect BPs vs random solo queue potato squad.
-
I'd like an option to at least disable or lower the volume of screams/grunts for your own character. As a test I ran Iron Will and Calm Spirit together, and it was wonderful compared to the norm.

I'm not talking about crashes. I'm talking about people who hit the leave match button. Theres no reason to not just slap people like that with a 30 min knock it off timer imo. Go take a break or play something else.
And just like that, the game population drops significantly.
-
If you don't have screenshots or videos, the devs tend to ignore the report or take a long while to get around to reviewing it. Also, per the devs/game's community people, you have to send reports both in-game and through the website or it's moot.
The reporting system in DBD is painfully antiquated for even a 6yr old game, and is about 1/2 a step above no reporting system. Take it with a grain of salt.

I've been seeing this too in the recent weeks.
Super sonic games, not even the full meta I use on Leatherface (my main) helps, and I'm getting downs really fast.
Part of the reason why.

I wanted to see what would happen. It took 28 minutes to get into a game. The quality of the gameplay was not worth the wait. The game lasted less than 20 minutes. The match didn't seem any different than when cross-play is enabled. I wanted to test out the theory that console players are not as good as pc players. It literally felt the same. The main difference that I noticed was that the killer didn't camp or tunnel. I know that one game isn't a good enough example to draw any conclusions from, but I'm not waiting another 25+ minutes to try that again.
Anyone play on console with cross-play disabled? I'm curious to hear if you've noticed any differences in the general gameplay?
A 20min game is usually a worst-case scenario. Like two survivors left, 3+ gens still up, and each survivor is waiting out the killer finding the other so they can attempt the hatch or seeing if the killer will give up and DC.
Good or bad, most trials last ~10min or less.

There are ways u can counter that:
lightborn
Switching sides fast when u pick up
Learning when to pick up in order to not get flashed
Forced Pennance
Hitting the bodyblocker and continuing the chase
Starstruck is another fun one to throw in. Combine either Starstruck or Forced Penance with Mad Grit and survivors will give you a wide berth while you're hooking someone.

1 flashlight save is OK.
But when you have 3 survivors running with you during 2 minutes just to save their pal with a flashlight. This is toxic.
Same for body blocking.
Survivors must do gen, not bullying killer.
Run Lightborn. For all of my killers that have it unlocked, I have a main build and a backup build with Lightborn slotted. Flashlight crew shows up in lobby, swap to backup build.
Plus it's fun to farm people who only know how to use a flashlight and will stand in front of you shining it in your face long enough to get downed and hooked.

First game, against Legion. This one's the most normal, except for the fact that my entire team has an obsessive desire with clumping up to heal so Legion can undo it in approximately 5 seconds. Every single time. I unsurprisingly die.
Second game, against Plague. One pallet stun too many 30 seconds in and she DCs.
Third game, against Trapper. His game kept freezing up and he ends up pulling a basement play for a 1k, because what the hell else is he supposed to do.
Fourth game, against Artist. Two chases that go on a little too long and she DCs.
Fifth game, against Twins. Our Meg was AFK the entire match and was immediately killed. This was offset by the fact that the Twins player was very clearly learning, and the three of us handily escaped.
No pips at any point, of course.
Just one, DbD. Just a single one today.
Preach. Yesterday and today I've been getting the usual MMR hell like you, but I've also been getting a new client error I've never seen before. It says something along the lines of "To access that content you need a network connection", then kicks me out of the trial. Never saw it before yesterday, and it's happened on both killer and survivor.
It's bad enough the trials are #########, but not even being able to get the meager BPs and credits towards tome entries is just salt and lemon juice on the sucking chest wound of solo queue.
-
I had a trial recently where I dropped into a lobby with four survivors all carrying flashlights. Two were Leons (Flashbang), one was a Jill (Blast Mine).

If you were given the option to toggle 1 or 2 killers that you just don't like for whatever reason, whether balance decisions, or even because they make you sick, would you enable that even if it meant you might add minutes to your queue time if it resets you because the next available killer for your MMR was one you blocked?
Absolutely. Would help prevent DCing/suiciding on hook when Legion and Bubba show up.
-
I'd like it if there were an option where only Survivors could see each other's charms. So many of them are bright or have a glow, that it only helps killers find them when hiding in grass or dark areas.

I still can't believe the Hooked on You thing isn't a joke.
I saw the segment about it on the anniversary stream and got a laugh out of it for the first 1-2 mins. Then they didn't stop talking about it. Working in IT most of my life I realize devs and coders don't always grasp social norms/interactions and things can get awkward, so I figured they were just letting the joke drag so everyone at the company that contributed something to it got their bit put in.
But it just....kept....going. Days later, still going. Weeks later, still going.
Then a Steam page pops up for it. That's when the "you have to be shitting me" really kicked in.

Matchbox Nurse is a much worse version of Nurse, yet Survivors still ragequit. Why?
Principal, likely. They'd have no idea what addons you had at the start of the game, so just the fact that you are what you are is enough to make many ragequit. Most who would ragequit, it'd probably not make any difference if they knew what addons you were running.

So no change from current, then. Legion is the most annoying killer already. After the perk overhaul, it's not even a discussion. It's odd that they aren't showing up well for some players. When the invites first came out I grabbed a Wraith and did a couple of laps each map to find them. Including one bugged trial where none of them spawned at all, I was able to get all 12 masks in about 13 trials, one after the other.
Most maps I've been playing in the last week seem to have an abundance of them with an even quicker respawn/move time. I pass so many of them on both killer and survivor that I'll grab one per trial just for the BPs. Two days ago I spawned into a trial with a totem, chest, and invite all within a few steps of me. Easy insta-BPs.
It seems like on most maps they spawn faster and in greater numbers the longer the trial goes on.
Also, some maps tend to keep them more in particular places. For example, on the Swamp map you'll tend to find loads of them on the ridgeline that runs along the outer map walls. On the Autohaven map they tend to spawn more inside of the small building areas made of junk piles vs out in the open (though you will find some hanging out near tire stacks, and there's one or two spawn points in the garage building). Any map's killer shack that has the table in it, one will often spawn right behind the table against the wall (if the shack also has a basement it'll be between the table and the basement stairs).
On other maps their spawn locations are more all over, like Ormond and Garden of Joy. They never spawn in the basement or on the basement stairs, if anyone was curious about that.
You're right on the aura, though. You'll actually see the invite pillar itself long before you'll need to look for an aura. I didn't even know they had an aura until the end of the first week of the event. I walked by a wall with something purple glowing through it that I'd never seen before.

I ran into a bug(?) in one trial (Swamp) yesterday with the perk Prove Thyself. It didn't activate on most of the gens I worked on with someone else. Neither the effect nor the active icon showed up.

For real, at the very least let us buy in one click.
Add "Fast Bloodweb Mode" option which lets you buy in 1 click, skips the "Mystery Box" prompt completely and the item is just shown immediately in the node with no prompt, skips the "Level X" prompt and instead simply flashes it in the upper right corner of the bloodweb as the new web automatically spawns. You've made nice UI changes to the main menu, why not update this one too?
I've measured and it takes me 6 minutes to spend 1m BP, and this is with me running as fast as possible spending as little as possible per web, which generally requires little thought.
Indeed. The level notice at the end of each web that you have to click through, and the constant notice after that on lvl 50 characters that you've hit max lvl but can still use the bloodweb that you also have to click through, is irritating.
I hit max annoyance with it last night while I was leveling an alt character while waiting for everyone else in the lobby to ready up. The ready timer was almost up so I finished the bloodweb then hit the character select icon, and all it did was cycle from one bloodweb notification to the other. I hit the character select again, and it just dismissed the second bloodweb notification. I clicked it a third time, finally the character select came up. I scrolled to the character I wanted, clicked on it as the lobby hit auto-ready. The select didn't take, so I was stuck running a trial at a decent MMR level with a character I don't play that had no perks or add-ons loaded. I can't tell you how fun that was.

Probably for chaser emblem, I think the quicker you escape the more reward will be?
A few could be doing it for a chase tome entry. There was one during the event for killers and survivors. The survivor side was getting a gold or higher emblem for that category, iir. Standing at the exit until the killer shows up then running out gives a successful chase escape.
Also, due to the limited emotes and communication in the game, bouncing/crouching is often used for quick communication, like "thank you". Of course if they were being toxic the whole match or a dick in end game chat, obviously not that.
-
Last I saw was shortly after the revamped Haddonfield map came out. Was in a survivor group in Haddonfield vs Pinhead. One of the survivors started out subtle, but ramped up pretty fast. Was picking themselves up from dying almost instantly, repeatedly. Dead Hard for days. Was doing an impression of Mario bouncing on Pinhead's head. Trolled the killer all trial.
-
If you think Legion sees a lot of DCs now, run that.
-
You have to have the invite before the 5th gen is done.
There's supposed to be audio ques when the invite appears and moves, but they're bugged and don't always work.
Some maps I'd ran around on killer doing nothing but looking for an invite and never found one, other maps they respawning/moved all over the place. Doesn't appear to be any real reason for it.
As mentioned above, the UI is bugged for showing that you got a mask. When you first hit the main screen after getting out of a trial it'll say you got a crown in the upper right corner, but usually nothing else. Click into the event tome and it'll typically show up there at the bottom as a pop-up. If not, click out of the tome and it should show at the bottom of the main character screen.

I've seen this multiple times in the past few days. Is there some kind of streamer challenge or something? What's the point?
When I'm running killer to just do event or tome stuff and not play to win, I'll usually drop add-ons/offerings and change up my perks. No sense wasting anything or loading a setup that I'm not going to make use of.
There are some achievements that both killers and survivors can get by running a lesser number of perks of certain types, so that's a possibility as well.
Particularly strong killers being ran by players that are good at them will sometimes run with nothing loaded as it's not needed to excel at the killer, particularly in the low to mid MMR ranges. Nurse, Blight, etc.
Some killers will go unloaded for more of a challenge for themselves, such as to help strengthen their base playing ability or learn to play the killer as-is before making modifications (such as deciding which perks will benefit their play style more).
Killers will sometimes do it to both make the trial more challenging and to prolong it, especially if they keep being grouped with lower skill//MMR survivors due to poor matchmaking options. It'll result in more BPs and fun for the killer and survivors, instead of just wiping the survivors and ending the trial quickly, leading to poor BPs/wasted items and it not being fun for anyone.
With the current event bringing out many more survivors and killers of various playtime and experience, it's no doubt caused this to appear more frequently.
This is also typically seen just after MMR resets each month.
-

There are some achievements that involve using only 1/2/3 of certain types of perks, so that could be coming into play as well.
Strong killers who's players are decent to high skill with the killer can get away with using little to nothing loaded and still do very well, particularly on the low/mid areas of MMR. Nurse, Blight, etc.
Some killer players may do it because it makes it more of a challenge for them, especially if they keep getting lower skill/MMR groups. It can also prolong the trial for both killer and survivors to get more BPs and have more fun instead of just wiping the survivors quickly, getting low BPs, and no one really getting any fun out of it.
It's not really anything new, but is likely going on more because of the event bringing out more of both survivors and killers of various skill/MMR levels. You'll also tend to see it more after the MMR resets each month.

This, among some of the other perk nerfs, is a clear example of why just destroying meta/commonly used perks is not a good idea. Now there is no reason to run Self-Care at all, over any other healing option in the game. Just because we want better perk options, doesn't mean we want our beloved perks annihilated. Just run a medkit, honestly. Especially with buffed Botany.
Self-Care can't be Franklin'd. It doesn't run out of charges. With Self-Care in it's current live state there's no issue burning a medkit (if you have one) on another survivor (such as if they've just been unhooked) to get them back out asap to work gens or save another survivor while you hang back and heal yourself with the perk. With a more nerfed Self-Care, every medkit will be for personal use only and healing other survivors will be the slower non-medkit method every time. Whereas currently a survivor can take a self-heal back to healthy before going back out to heal/unhook/take a protection hit, after the nerf survivors w/o a medkit (or has already used all of the charges) and are injured will be even less inclined to try to heal someone off the ground/try for an unhook and will likely almost never take the protection hit.
Anyone who thinks solo queue sucks now, wait till post Self-Care nerf. :(

I like variety in my games so I don't always play with my friends... but lately, I have no idea what's going on with matchmaking. People were definitely hiding in corners and what not before, but now it's gotten so bad that not only aren't gens being touched but I'm more likely to die on 1st hook simply because other Survivors don't seem to care. Now when I go to play as Killer, it's the complete opposite... I get pit against sweaty SWF's that are clearly cooperating and not always in a party. I truly don't like being that "Every man for himself" teammate but I've started to take keys into matches because it's been that bad lately. I never used to mind doing things like unhooking, healing, or popping 3 gens solo but it gets old when you end up dying and nobody bothers to help. And this is exactly how Insidious Bubba's are born...
It's how the game has trained survivors in the solo queue. The MMR mismatch between survivors and killers is often stark, so for most survivors it's a BP grab before you die. Do whatever's quick and you can do easily solo. Hide from the killer, grab some totems/chests, drive-by unhooking, heal someone if sticking your neck out won't get it chopped off right away. It sucks, but it is what it is.
@Sludge said:
SoloQ was good at the start of the event but it's all downhill from here as more people finish collecting masks. Out comes the WGLF gamers and dead weight.
Partially that, but also partially people remembering why events tend to suck. Some of the tome entries are just absurd or you have to throw the trial to do them. Throwing up loads of BP bonuses just to get tunneled out almost immediately or trolled by an SWF the entire trial. Burns people out pretty fast.

The MMR system is broken regardless of SWF or not. It heavily favors lower queue times over fair matchmaking and I think backfill lobby’s still get high priority completely disregarding the mmr scores.
This is what typically bites me in the arse. Due to my work shift I mostly play late at night, between 11pm-6am EST. When an event isn't going on, it means every time I queue I sit waiting for the max 5mins, then get thrown in with whatever regardless of MMR, just because I hit the 5min wall. Although MMR does come into play at as _starting point_, based on BHVR's explanation of the queue timer, the stretched out spectrum of MMR in both directions (high/low) that it has to open up to try to find me a lobby always results in a crazy trial.
As a survivor it seems to favor the low end of MMR, so more often than not I get stuck in a potato group vs an at least decent killer. As a killer it seems to favor the high end of MMR, so I typically go up against SWFs and higher skilled solo players. I do get some balanced trials in here and there, but they're far more of the exception than the rule.
As a result when playing killer, if the group is very difficult, I usually have to prey on the weakest survivor repeatedly to get a kill in and slow the group down, which I'd really rather not. If the group is really out of my MMR range (usually a particularly hardcore sweaty SWF), I try to work with some of them to trade off. It doesn't always work, but I've been surprised at times at the number of SWFs that go from troll/tbag/flashlight nazi to friendly. I chalk it up to them really wanting a more fun trial too.
There's not a lot of options on the survivor end when you get dropped in with 3 "I can't believe you can dress yourself" players and even just an average killer, with the trial usually resulting in a wipe with 4-5 gens still up. In those, while the potatoes are exchanging hooks or being camped, I'll farm some BPs off of totems/chests/solo-able tome entries (like glyphs), maybe knock out 1-2 gens and take some protection hits, try to heal someone that's constantly running away from me, then look forward to the next trial where hopefully things are better (but will probably just be more of the same).
It really makes me wish that there were alternative bot trials/players that you can be shuffled into or supplemented with (as both survivor/killer) when there's no players in your extended MMR range available at the time. It would really be a wonderful solution to both queue times and being saddled with too high/low MMR players. Even if it required a BP hit, I'd take it in a heartbeat. If I'm having fun I won't mind less reward, and would easily be more inclined to play more trials and make up BPs over time vs putting up with hell trials back to back while trying to eek out decent BPs.

Same here. Last night on survivor I got Swamp three times in a row. Switched to killer, got it twice in a row, then a different map, then Swamp twice again. I just let all the survivors go as they were having a horrible time with the map too, and on one of the Swamp runs there were two people doing the No Mither challenge at the same time. The only thing worse would have been the trifecta of No Mither + Swamp + Bubba facecamp. I wound up running Wraith and throwing on tome challenges for glyphs/pallets/kicking gens to break up the boredom.

I plan on getting at least 200 on Plague, but right now I'm trying to spread them around so I can play who I want and still have points.
I'm doing the same. Getting at least a small stack on all my survivors and killer. On ones I play regularly I've wound up with quite a few. It's unfortunate that on most of the trials during the event they're just wasted, so I'm holding on to them for nostalgia later. :(

I either DC as soon as I confirm it's Legion or if my DC timer has gotten long I'll suicide on first hook. I personally LOVE facing Legions.
People's excuse is "ooga booga he's a mending simulator". Only if you suck at the game and let him.
Learn to dodge killer's attacks? Learn how to spin the Legion?
There's many ways to take Legion out of the power, it just takes some effort to LEARN the counterplay.
I personally don't play Legion, never will, but they're one of my favorites to face after the rework.
So my Legion mains out there, I love you, and don't let those lazy salty people get to you <3
It's not that Legion is hard to deal with, they're just obnoxious and their combined ability seems directly against what killers should be able to do with a basekit. They tend to drag trials out to the point that not only was it never fun, now it seems like a job instead of entertainment. Plus the repetitive chase music they have is grating. They make Trickster seem adorable by comparison.
So yeah, Legion is a hard pass.

But after having several matches in a row where survivors not being chased are not doing the gens, solo queue survivors are just bad.
Or stuck having to do tome/event challenges that require the person to not to participate as normal in the trial. In some cases actually throw the trial in order to accomplish the challenge (both survivors and killers). Neither of which I ever understood as to why that would be put in the game.

How do you get any games in quitting over all those reasons?how do you know they are a try hard on first hook of game?Maybe as killer I should quit after first gen is done?…SMH doesn’t make any sense to me…guess cause I’m not a “pro”.
There's tons of trials going on now, and plenty of them that are fun. You just have to wait for them. Speeding things along helps greatly. :)
Just because I go out on the first hook sometimes, doesn't mean I was the first hook of the game. I prefer playing stealth at first and getting a good look around vs running around mindlessly leaving scratch marks everywhere and making noise.
A recent trial I actually got to watch a Nemesis camp their first hook at the farm. I mean a Nemesis.
Last trial I got out of was a Bubba running Insidious in Midwich, hooking/knocking people down then hiding around corners. The other three survivors kept running in and trying to save someone, and wound up on the ground beside them. Once I got away I went to the other end of the map and bounced between floors doing gens/totems. When everyone else was dead and the hatch closed, I sat upstairs between where the two exits were and listened to the Bubba's terror radius going back and forth for the entire timer. Most exercise he's ever gotten. At the end of the match they were like "so stupid easy". Truth be told it was. Mix poor character design and no way for the devs to fix it, with players who were empathetic to the point of being idiotic. I got some BPs out of it, but I'd known in the first 30 seconds of the trial what was going to happen, and that if I wound up on a hook I was out. The other survivors had to have someone do it for them.
It's not "pro" anything. It's just common sense. And yes, you can quit after the first gen on a killer all you want. Nothing's forcing you to do otherwise. It's not quite the same as skipping trials on a survivor, but if it's fun knock yourself out. By dropping out of the ######### trials and running more balanced/fun ones, I make way more BPs/shards over the same amount of time and walk away with far less stress than I used to have over the game. Win/win! Play what's fun for you. :)

I mean we have no choice its literally the only way we can get the masks. Its not like killer where you just touch it and get the mask we have to get gens done as fast as possible and open a door to be allowed to have them.
You do have a choice, actually. Play a killer. A level 1 killer with speed. Don't need perks, add-ons, anything. Wraith, Spririt, etc. Run around, ignore the survivors, grab an invite. Then do that 11 more times. Grats, you now have 6 survivor and 6 killer masks.

Pettiness. They don't like the map, the killer, how the killer played, or how they played during their first chase, so they scuttle the entire game for everyone.
It's especially baffling now, when every game is bloodpoint city.
That's my MO. I usually DC on spawn or shortly after, or suicide on first hook for a few situations:
-Bubba (Not interested in being facecamped by a one-shot killer).
-Legion (Will never be interested in Mending Simulator #283455593743659-04-F with Warp Speed and Terror Radius-wide Killer Instinct).
-Swamp Map (Swamp Map; I'll give it a shot but the map wears thin fast, on both killer and survivor.).
-Trickster (if I've had more than three trials with one in the same play session. That guy is annoying spelled out in neon.)
-Any killer that is trying way too hard vs a potato group.
-I also have special circumstance for instances, like events. Example: Trial has 4-5 cakes/flans/streamers up and the killer is playing like they need everyone dead before a single gen is done. They can certainly do that, of course. I look at it more like if I'm going out with ######### BPs, so can the killer. I'm really happy to see so many people have adopted this philosophy in the latest event. The items are wasted either way, so drop ######### BPs on the try-hard and hop into another trial. Time far better spent. :) One trial I was in yesterday had a killer go on a slugfest before the first gen was done. Two people LD'd on the ground, one suicided on the hook, all before I could even get the killer's attention so I could suicide out! I wound up finding the hatch first and got out!
As an FYI to rescuers, if someone is suiciding on a hook, you really don't need to bother trying to pull them off. Most of the time they'll stand there till they get hit/hooked again, giving you no Safe Unhook for stacks/BPs. It'll also likely just get you injured, and take time away that you could have been doing gens or something else. Even if you're doing it out of spite, it really is more of a problem for you.

uh kinda boring
I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong but I've spotted zero event poles for the masks
Do they not emit a noise or something?
They're supposed to, but it seems to be bugged. Most trials they don't make any noise, killer or survivor. Some trials they don't even spawn. I've helped groups looks for them and no one found any after 20-25mins of searching.

It's OK. I haven't been burning offerings because I've been noticing a trend (a bad trend) when the Killer sees a bunch of BP offerings. Still confused how a survivor gets the masks. You have to escape with the invitation or you can die and still get the masks? On top of that, the game doesn't tell me I've received the awards anyway.
You just have to have collected an invitation before the last gen is done, you don't have to escape.
Also, don't bother doing invites/masks on survivors. Takes too long and you're more likely to get either a sweaty killer or potato group. Just jump on a killer with speed and run around until you get one. Then either play the trial or afk till done. I've gotten 12 masks in 13-14 trials on killer.

I was able to get it done on The Clown with the addons Flask of Bleach (additional 4% hinder) and Tattoo's Middle Finger (you see intoxicated/Invigorated survivors' auras).

No.

Ahh, the game login pop-up lied! It's missing a dash and has an extra word added.

Or they could just add voicechat to the game so that people have the choice of open communication, and it starts to eliminate the skill difference/perk difference between SoloQ and SWF, and the game can be balanced more around the philosophy that everyone is playing with the capability to communicate.
There's a problem with that, though: Having to be in voice comms with the other players of this game. I'd rather deal with hook camping bubbas than listen to some sweaty dudebros greatly overestimating their skills every trial. The very thought makes my teeth itch.
More on-screen info would be better received (base Kindred, et al).

BHVR isn’t known for keeping to its word however. How long has it been since they said They would rework certain loops?
Also I had a Ace in my last game this morning before work and he was a very scary hook rescuer. I would spend like ten seconds looking around to make sure someone wasn’t hiding around the hook, once I took ten steps there he was. Pulling that Meg off the hook. Like a ghost.
That might've been me. Was doing some Ace tome entries early AM and in one of the trials all I can remember was zooming around pulling people off of hooks. Seemed like every time I started working a gen or killing a totem, someone was being thrown on a hook.

Honestly, DBD has one of the most toxic communities I've ever had the misfortune of playing with. Because of this I've been eagerly awaiting bots for years, and thankfully it's finally happening.
I'll still play with friends online, but as a solo player it's good to know that I can take out my frustrations on some poor bots. LOL
My understanding was that the bots were for custom games only. Is this still the case?
I've been wanting bot-only games for a long while. Human players are horrible and toxic on both killer/survivor sides, and I'd rather take them completely out of the picture and have a true solo DBD game experience.

None.
I'm not big on cosmetics, unless they serve a purpose. Such as pieces/outfits that will give better camo for survivors. Even then, if the survivor already has pieces/an outfit that does a decent job I'll skip it.
Many of the cosmetics in this game are very...loud. Not a good idea when you may have to hide. All a killer has to do is tweak the gamma and color settings a little, and most of these outfits light up like a neon sign.
