  • It'd be nice if you could list the perks (and add ons too I guess) they had, instead of us having to list off every perk possible to figure this out.

  • Because she could just Sexy Beam all the Killers and the Entity wouldn't like that.

  • The answer to the second question is because it requires a Merciless which used to be simply killing all 4 Survivors, now Merciless is tied to double pipping thanks to the horrible emblem system.

    • Head On
    • Saboteur
    • Diversion
    • Red Herring

Want to send the Killer on a wild goose chase? just sabotage some hooks, throw some pebbles, "fail" some skill checks, then jump out of the locker for the surprise party.

  • You can already estimate how close a Survivor is to wiggling out by counting the grunts.

iirc 10 grunts = they're escaping that grasp.

  • Remember the perimeter of Treatment Theatre?

Do that but with two floors.

    Congratulations I hate it.

  • I mean perhaps using the 3D Model version takes less effort/time which can be used on other things then drawing an entire new banner.

Also I wouldn't mind some High Quality versions being released to use as wallpapers, some do look neat.

    1. See where downed Survivor's Aura is
    2. See which corner of map is the furthest from said aura
    3. Walk over to said corner
    4. Congratulations your friend drove over in their floating rectangle for a visit
  • Because some Killers have only 1 Ultra Rare or simply none.

So if a Ultra Rare spawns it's either a 50/50 or guaranteed to be an Ebony.

  • But who would be the lucky Survivor (I really don't think Killer would work) to be blessed with the Legendary Carl's likeness?

  • No, they can fill the free pass with some more stuff before thinking of adding more tiers of nothing on top of nothing.

Want a easy way to do this? you know how the premium pass has Auric Cells sprinkled in every 2-3 levels? Do the same with Iridescent Shards.

A Rift is 70 Tiers, let's say you give a reward every ~2 Tiers on the free pass so you have to fill 35 Tiers with something.

The current Rift has 21 rewards being charms or cosmetics, let's cut this down to 20 for simplicity meaning you only need to fill 15 Tiers with something now.

If they put say 50 Iridescent Shards in those 15 Tiers you suddenly have 750 Shards while also filling up the emptiness of the Rift.

It wouldn't be much but anything is better than nothing for multiple Tiers.

  • Because I see some Kool-aid on the floor and when I walk over to get some I accidentally touch some barbed wire instead.

  • Look behind you in a chase.

  • I can say for every Punishment of the Damned I got hit by I dodged probably 9 others.

And that hit was probably me just being stupid or predictable.

If you NEED to drop the pallet do it as early as possible so you aren't locked into animation if he has to activate his power first. If not just move in a unpredictable path to dodge then continue running because he now has to suffer a missed attack cooldown.

  • Because this cosmic malevolent being's pocket dimension isn't big enough for two Nurses and they must now fight to the death.

And actually probably many reasons, mostly because people can and will be jerks against anything they remotely don't like because they can get away with it.

  • I don't think a "give up" button would be good because unless carefully implemented you could have situations where Killer gets screwed because a Survivor decided to give up so Hatch immediately opens, or denying them a hook, etc.

I wouldn't mind say an option to hold down the run button while in the dying speed up their bleed out by 25%/50% if left on the ground for an excessive amount of time (for example for half of their current bleed out timer when they initially got downed meaning after 120 seconds on your first down) and the only way to remove the option is if said Survivor changes health states or gets hooked.

Also just have the Entity sacrifice all the remaining Survivors if they've all been put into dying and none of them have gotten up within a minute.

  • Nurse's Torn Bookmark removing the biggest strength of her power: letting you move through objects because your slower than a running Survivor, get an indoor map and enjoy being stuck on everything.

Pig's Rules Set No. 2 doing practically nothing, did a gen pop anytime after placing the RBT and hooking them? Yes? Then it did nothing. No? Well the RBT isn't active so they can just do a generator to reveal the locations.

Demogorgon's Leprose Lichen being too niche to be useful at all (seriously unless you have multiple people running No Mither I see very little benefit from seeing injured auras while traveling to stationed areas when you get Instinct on portals already)

Demogorgon's Red Moss, oh hey Demogorgon's global "I'm traveling" roar and I can see him exit from the portal along with his loud as hell footsteps.

Oni's Iridescent Family Crest giving a pitiful 12 meter range scream for either:

    • Purposely whiffing an attack (a long animation attack on a timed power) to hopefully find someone nearby.
    • Missing an attack on someone your chasing... that you already know is there because your chasing them.
    • Also Infectious Fright simply existing

Deathslinger's Hellshire Iron giving aura reading on nearby Survivors while spearing someone, that restricts your camera and you should be focusing on actually reeling them in instead of looking around.

Deathslinger's Iridescent Coin requiring you spear someone from 15 meters away and successfully reel them in and hope there's absolutely nothing at all in the way for them to move to.

I was playing on the Nintendo switch tonight 6/17/2020 and was facing a hag and she was one hitting all survivors in game is it a hack or a bug she had no perks that could cause that and she was only carrying a mori with devour hope may i add. Was really upset I dident even know you could hack the game on the switch

facing a hag and she was one hitting all survivors

she was only carrying a mori with devour hope

    Reading is neat.

Perhaps you could read the discription of Hex: Devour Hope.

  • Send a support ticket to follow up the report with the video attached, just an in-game won't do anything.

  • The biggest Issue I have is that it all looks too similar and too large, with Gideon, Hawkins, even Léry's I can figure out the layout pretty quickly after spawning in.

Midwich? Which hallway am I in they all look the same? Which classroom is this I can't tell. Is the drop into the courtyard this hallway or that hallway? Are the stairs in this corner? no? well time to run down this long hallway and check that corner.

I feel like I need to boot up a custom game and literally comb through this map to figure out every little detail to etch into my mind because there's a general lack of any indication of what goes where.

  • Did the random symbol and "Head + Torso + Legs" icons not make it clear enough? (still an issue with lack of explanation)

Also you didn't think a cosmetic that changes the model wouldn't be mix and matchable?

  • Don't like it? Don't buy it, close your wallet towards Behaviour, tell others to do the same, give feedback saying you don't like said thing and would be more inclined to buy it if it was changed to be better.

I didn't buy the Silent Hill Chapter because of how bad it was, even more so now that I found out they Linked Cosmetics together (Besides Lisa Garland, Alessa Gillespie's Torso and Legs possibly looking strange separated, and the Lost Mascot Head and Body possibly looking strange separated) and telling us this very poorly (The patch notes out of everything explains it the best, what a joke they expect we know what a symbol and + signs mean).

Oh also the perks are still bad, I just want Repressed Alliance for a meme build and I'd rather wait for it on the Shrine of Secrets then give them cash.

  • @DWolfAlpha said:

I'm pretty sure it's just a chime. Not a charm. You get a charm for buying the dlc instead of each character with auric cells.

Yeah no, you get a charm for inputting it.

  • You got downed after running into his trail on death hook, you're going to die from being Hooked, Caged, or Jugemented.

Also look behind you in a chase.

  • Lisa Garland makes sense (she's a different model)

Alessa Gillespie sort of makes sense (I could see why with the Body + Legs but not the head)

The rest does not at all.

Oh, they will when thousands of angry customers start wanting their money back because this was made ABUNDANTLY less than clear.

    Whaaat? Nooooo.

Did the random symbol and the pictures with + signs not make it crystal clear that the cosmetics are linked?

Seriously though if the PATCH NOTES out of everything is the most clear about Linked Cosmetics then we need a hotfix immediately making it so we have something like "These cosmetics are linked together and must be worn together" in bright red or yellow in the descriptions of every cosmetic that does it because it's VERY poorly implemented.

  • A lenient penalty

    or

have a Survivor/Killer disconnect because they don't like even the tiniest thing and not be punished for it.

yeah no i'll take the occasional penalty for when legitimate reasons happen instead of hoping that I get a match that doesn't become a 3v1, 2v1, or 4v0

  • Hex: Don't Do Bones:

Once one or more Hex Totems have been active for 420/360/300 seconds your successful and missed attack cooldowns are reduced by 30% and movement speed is increased by 5%.

For every Hex Totem in the trial besides Hex: Don't Do Bones that's uncleansed reduce the required time by 30 seconds.

The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.

This'll punish those Survivors for not doing bones.

  • The only nerf I ever thought of for Spine Chill (really just a buff to Undetectable) was that any perks that alerted you to the Killer while within a certain range (OoO, Premonition, Spine Chill) would only activate at half their range if the Killer has Undetectable.

So instead of 36 Meters you'd only be notified at 18 Meters with a Cloaked Wraith, Tier 1 Myers, Crouching Pig, Shrouded Ghostface, Kind of? Emerging Demogorgon.

Good idea? don't know as I haven't thought on it at all since they announced Undetectable.

  • Trapper really needs just two things to make him more bearable to play:

    1. Trapper Sack be base, or even just being able to carry an extra trap would make having to pick up every trap less of a hassle and not feel like you have to run a Trapper Sack/Trapper Bag.
    2. Bear Traps spawned a little more towards the maps center instead of 2+ corners of the map, especially on a bigger map.
  • Honestly it should just be the Quick & Quiet of generators.

While repairing a generator all noises from the generator and their hearing distance is reduced by 6 meters.

On a failed repair skill check prevent the generator explosion.

This effect can only be triggered once every 20/15/10 seconds.

At worst it gives new players consistent suppression when learning Skill Checks instead of a horrible coin flip.

  • I'd rather wait for the first buff/nerf/change they do to Pyramid and or the chapters perks before deciding.

  • Well at least the map name is accurate.

Should've bought some more pallets from Carl.

  • Nah, a minor rework is what he needs.

Seriously 95% of his add ons aren't even his, what a joke

  • Shelter Woods: Big, empty, open map with nothing special about it. It's boring as Survivor, boring as Killer. (and no the tree isn't special because it literally just exists to be a massive dead zone, it does nothing)

Cornland (aka: Rotten Fields): same reason as Shelter Woods, at least it has Harvesters and Pig Tree instead of just generic jungle gyms.

  • Don't want to risk getting a unfavorable map? Use your offering to (nearly) guarantee a map.

Also we need more corn because corn.

  • Customer Support issue, not a General Discussion issue.

  • Because the match really doesn't need to continue on at that point, they'd rather get you into the next match faster then extending a match that's practically over for another minute or two.

  • Wouldn't Adiris (Plague) be just a woman who's dying from a plague? (Also her foot which is heavily infected from chopping off her toe with a non-sterile knife)

She wouldn't really be able to move because her foot is infected & the plague making her weak, and probably not able to vomit that far without Entity Steroids (or her throat would be so irritated and damaged from stomach acid making it hard to breath and projectile vomit properly).

At best she'd be a 50/50, Survivors would just have to briskly walk away from her until she just drops and even then if they did get infected they'd probably win from a battle of attrition considering how far infected she is.

True. SC is a difficult to balance perk I guess. Perhaps it's better off being niche as it is now, and being strong when accompanied by perks like Botany Knowledge.

Well that doesn't mean you can't suggest buffing/changing a perk to make it more viable or fun, more so you have to consider if buffing one aspect of a perk would make it too strong or oppressive then what possible drawback could you give it to make sure that doesn't happen.

Let's say you buff the SC healing speed from 50% to 75% (32 seconds to 24 seconds), now to make sure it doesn't become too strong from being faster you make it so SC has a limit of 1/2/3 tokens and it loses one every time you fully heal yourself while using SC.

And if the drawback is too strong or too weak you can always adjust it or change it entirely if restricting it that way just doesn't work.

  • The issue is if you buff SC's numbers you risk making it really powerful again.

SC gives you an infinite amount of times you can heal yourself without needing anyone or anything to limit that amount, that's a pretty powerful effect for just using a single perk so it's balanced out by the drawback of being considerably slower than other methods.

Would I love for Self Care to get a numbers buff? absolutely.

But it'd need some adjustment to make sure it's not TOO powerful (like a cooldown or a limit to how many times you can fully heal yourself with it).

  • Spirit literally becomes just a pile of blue body parts.

I started to run Resilience with For The People, Borrowed Time, and Iron Will. It's a nasty hook bomb build.

Sounds broken but doesn't have the potential to technically be Broken x3

So I hold the run button at the same time as 'R'?

Why don't they show these controls on the screen when it is active??

I'll try this out next match..not playing a character with Head On in this one that just loaded....

The game DOES tell you this under Options -> Help & Tutorials -> The Survivors -> Stealth: Avoid Getting Detected -> Loud Noises.

"Some actions, such as window vaults, can be preformed quickly or slowly (depending on weather the run button is held). Rushing these actions creates a loud noise signal that the Killer may see and hear. Be aware that these actions will give away your position."

The real issue? DBD needs actual tutorials.

  • Use a Jigsaw Piece so your sent to Gideon Meat Plant.

Equip Bond & Spine Chill (Other two perks can be whatever).

If someone else is getting chased follow them on the opposite floor using Bond.

Avoid being found using Spine Chill.

    ???

    Profit.

  • While standing in a locker, for 3 seconds, the perk activates.

While the perk is activated, performing a rushed action to leave a locker stuns the Killer for 3 seconds if they are standing within range.

    AKA: Hold the Run Button

  • Delieverance + For The People + No Mither + Second Wind

    The ultimate Broken Build :)

  • And they need to put in extra effort and time for this why?

  • I would rather Luck be changed to actually do something besides increase the chance you free yourself from the hook or a Bear Trap especially when you can just run Deliverance which guarantees you unhook yourself and Trapper having only a 5% to be in the trial (and that's generously assuming every Killer was played evenly)
