Well, found another untouchable totem on Saloon that you can't reach as Killer so i'll just leave this here for them to also (possibly) fix.
https://youtu.be/QAHCbDhIBq8 -
-Make him completely invincible
Wraith has decided Stuns don't exist.
-
Feels like i'm babysitting 4 Survivors instead of trying to kill them at the cost of my fun.
Oh also because of the most recent apparent lack of Killers players I'm being matched with drastically different ranks so that's the icing on the already unfun cake.
-
If you're disconnecting often enough due to connection issues on your end to have the matchmaking lock reach 1 Hour or higher then you need to stop playing and figure it out, you're still ruining the match for 1-4 other players and the first few penalties should've been a clear warning with how lenient they are.
And If Customer Support could remove penalties then what's stopping me from "accidently" disconnecting from a bunch of matches by playing with my modem or router then complain to get it removed.
-
It'd become Open-Handed for Killers.
Didn't put on any other hex? congratulations you now have a Hex Perk that literally does nothing.
-
Dying Light just makes you win a little harder then becomes irrelevant because you're winning.
-
Unless you can somehow consistently trigger said bug every match (and then proceed to do so willingly for a easy 3/4K in multiple matches) then no, you won't for a single instance of stumbling across a bug.
-
Version 1.5.3 of Brand New Part.
I liked those back to back Skill Checks.
-
Spencer's Last Breath + Night Shroud
You now have:
Nurse who can decide she wants to Mark you before blinking and insta-downing you or get Undetectable and blink over and get a surprise hit on an unsuspecting Survivor.
Or
Ghostface who can blink around while crouching and leaning while Undetectable for easy insta-downs.
-
99% gate, congratulations you not only took precautions against Blood Warden but also gave the remaining Survivors time to heal back up and possibly plan a final rescue without the threat of the EGC.
-
Pretty much why I dedicate a slot to Kindred.
When I get hooked everyone can see everyone so nobody should be making major mistakes.
When someone else is hooked I have tabs on everyone so I'm less likely to make mistakes but can't account for the other two doing something.
-
Nah, 7 chainsaw hits seems at least possible in a regular match.
If it was a Killer equivalent of Dwight The Brave? then maybe.
-
Either:
A) M1 Gens, Open Gates, and Leave
B) Get put on hook and Attempt Escape/Don't Struggle and get Sacrificed
If you apparently hate farming matches so much (I mean I don't particularly find enjoyment in them but having the guarantee to max out multiple categories as Survivor is great for Bloodpoints especially with WGLF) then you can DC and accept that you DC'ing incurs a penalty because you didn't fully commit to playing the match out.
-
If you actually want to try escaping (or trying to not end the match with a 3/4k) then yes, Kindred is a godsend for Solo Queue Information for yourself and everyone else to hopefully not make wrong plays.
-
I'm going to say Myers because a good chunk of his add ons cannot be ran together.
Using Scratched Mirror? Well throw out all those EW3 extenders and Tombstones, along with a dead rabbit, vanity mirror, some fragments and shards, flowers, a journal, and memorial as your playstyle forbids them as you now have to use a Memo from a Boyfriend for some reason.
-
The only stupid realm is Springwood which is just Badham Preschool but a different layout 5 times. (we needed 5 "different" versions of the same structures why?)
-
@Justalittlepeeck said:
And buff nurse please, she has lowest kill&pickrate.
Nurse really needs a 3rd Blink added to her base kit and her movement speed buffed to 103% to compete with the other Killers but the balance team sadly ignores her.
-
Bond IS good for Solo but Kindred exists as a non-teachable and typically gives better information so...
2nd Place isn't bad.
-
Okay let's say Hypothetically all the Killers who instead of having a full blown Magical Entity Steroid™ making them physically unstoppable had a moderately toned down version making them superhuman. (so they can die but it'd take A LOT of firepower to do so)
I would say Amanda, Any of the Legion alone, and Ghost Face would have the biggest chances to die as they're the most human with no supernatural powers.
Also I guess technically Freddy & Spirit are already dead (Spirit would literally be just a pile of Smurf Parts without Entity Steroids™) so they already lost?

Wait, u used your power? -Rep.
I saw you walking around instead of standing perfectly still at the beginning of the match. -Rep
-
If it's Until Dawn Wendigo then congratulations, who's ready for the first person experience of Blight but can attach themselves to any surface at any angle with the final lunge being Demo's Shred.
Also being incredibly disoriented.
-
TL;DR: No, Abusable (you know it would be don't try to say it wouldn't) and creates unnecessary extra work.
"it might get abused, but I think this is better than not having one."
If I get destroyed by a good Nurse/Spirit/Etc. I can simply give them a -Rep because why not.
Survivors clearly a SWF? -Rep.
Killer had the audacity to literally down me within the first minute of the trial and not allow me to loop and stun them? -Rep.
Survivors ran a SINGLE Meta perk? -Rep.
You get the idea.
Then after someone builds up an excessive negative Reputation number for inappropriate reasons what do you think is going to happen? (If for some reason a majority of players don't have a negative Reputation after enough time that is...)
Probably gonna have people dodging them constantly even though they legitimately did nothing wrong. Saw the Killer with -500 Rep? probably plays Insidious Bubba with Ebony every match. See a single Survivor with -1,000 Rep? Probably a sandbagger who runs No Mither 24/7.
Then someone at BHVR would have to check if someone with a big enough negative Reputation even deserves it (and how can you say if that's justified or not if something is a legitimate and allowed tactic?) after complaints from said player about them being unable to get a proper match because of an unfairly given Reputation.
-
I don't know if this would be fun and hilarious or confusing and frightening for Killers.
Just load into a lobby and see 4 Survivors trying their hardest to create enough lift to takeoff via spinning.
Add it in now.
-
I mean it'd remove one of the biggest issues with the Add On.
But then you have Map RNG kicking Huntress in the knees even harder if she gets a map that makes hitting at a distance difficult to impossible. (Trying to toss a hatchet across Gideon? yeah good luck on that)
-
Clearly Rancor 1 and that brown Add On gave you away with their strong tracking effects of giving the player psychic premonitions and the urge to really go to one specific tile of the map and you simply got outplayed.
Now in all seriousness unless you have video evidence I can't really say one way or another on this as too many variables to guess on.
-
Why are you/the other Survivors:
A) Staying together when you hear the terror radius and or see Bubba
B) Unhooking with Bubba in the vicinity (especially without Borrowed Time)
C) Healing with Bubba in the vicinity
D) Entering Basement with Bubba in the vicinity
I only had ONE team wipe happen due to a single Chainsaw Dash because 2 Survivors decided to both run into the basement before I fully left the area to save the unhooked person (which ended up with all 3 of them getting a chainsaw to the face on the stairs) and the fourth person literally standing in the open in a nearby tile after I hooked the previously mentioned 2.
-
I'm tired of Demo literally telling the entire map of when it does something.
Basic attack? Global.
Shred attack? Global.
Shred a pallet? Global.
Missed a basic attack? Global.
Missed a Shred? Global.
Using a portal? Global.
Walking? Not global but it's loud and can be heard from a decent range away.
Even as Survivor I get annoyed when hearing Demo scream something for the 30th time in the match.
-
I wonder if the update is going to make Consoles implode or something, wouldn't be surprising if it did.

I don't want your stinkin' hatch. WIGGLE GANG
Gotta get those Survival Points somehow.

@DaKnight said:
I'm surprised nobody has said left behind. Tons of your solo Q games are going to be your team getting stomped or suiciding on first hook with nothing you can do about it. Even if you could run the killer for a game winning amount of time, they could just ignore you and kill off your weaker teammates first.
Always good to have a plan B. Or wake up to stand on a door and let the killer find the hatch.
Left Behind is pretty bad though?
Why would I want to purposely fall into the mindset of "I expect the 3 other Survivors to be bad" on top of having a pretty niche requirement of always being the last Survivor alive.
-
If you want a build for sneaking up on Survivors then Furtive Chase isn't it unless you're doing a weird combo of Furtive Chase + Nemesis as all it does is give you a 16 meter Terror Radius... while in a chase meaning they know you're there... and you have to hope the Obsession doesn't die to undo all the work put into getting to 4 tokens.
I suggest throwing on Perks that give Undetectable or Oblivious really if you want Survivors to not hear you coming.
Beast of Prey (eugh)
Dark Devotion
Deathbound
Hex: Retribution (also eugh)
Insidious
Nemesis
Tinkerer
Trial of Torment
-
Adrenaline if you don't mind hoping randoms can complete gens.
Bond for info.
Detective's Hunch for totem hunting.
Exhaustion Perks.
Empathy for info.
Inner Strength for pocket healing.
Iron Will for more safety while injured.
Kindred for A LOT of info.
Resilience for a small boost while injured.
Self-Care for the choice to heal yourself when necessary.
Small Game if you don't have Detective's Hunch.
Soul Guard to protect yourself if someone picks you up with the Killer nearby.
Spine Chill if you struggle with Stealthier Killers.
Unbreakbale if nobody can/will come heal you out of Dying.
We're Gonna Live Forever for Points and a nice Healing Speed boost.
-
Because for a mechanic that's supposed to help matches end it apparently really needs to make sure the Survivors that are more or less 1 literal step from escaping are ready to leave by giving them a 1:50 timer.
Button to forcibly teleport all remaining Survivors onto the Escape trigger when, I want my next match sooner rather than 2 minutes later.
-
Ignore this comment.
-
No, while it would be nice it would immediately throw ANOTHER wrench into the balancing issue that still is DBD.
You first introduce a Survivor meta and more flak towards players who play a certain Survivor for any and all reasons.
Next you now have to make sure every add on actually properly works with other add ons and don't break in some way with every update afterwards.
Balancing would be the biggest issue, you can't make every add on perfectly balanced while keeping them unique, Licensed Survivors would have their add ons very cautiously balanced because you say give Laurie an add on for a free 2nd Decisive Strike and that'll REALLY look Pay 2 Win because you can only get her with real cash, and if anything needs balanced who knows how long it would take amongst everything else that needs looked at.

That's the tough thing. I feel like in a hypothetical scenario they'd all just... Kill each other. Especially Oni, Myers, and PH. They're some angery bois
But in a fun way... It's David x Dwight and no one can change my mind.
I could technically see a few have some common sense? restraint? something to not just immediately walk up to another Killer and immediately try to stab/bludgeon them. (Clown besides a possible finger really, some of the Legion, and Ghost face)
Also why try to change your mind when that's clearly a fact. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Eh in a hypothetical scenario where every Killer could interact with each other I would think of Trapper and Pig to be more of friends/two people who can talk about something they have in common (being traps in this case).
But ship whoever you want to really, at least distracts from the logical conclusion of most if not all the Killers would just act like feral cats and try to kill each other.
-
1) Splits the playerbase, enjoy having even worse matchmaking because a now hypothetical 50/50 split.
2) Enjoy a higher likelyhood of unbalanced matches because Unranked by definition has nothing to match you with players of similar skill/playtime.
3) KYF exists

cries in Mother's Dwelling as a Killer with no mobility

"Ghost Face Caught on Tape"
• Tremendously increases Stalk time (+10 seconds/-13.34 Stalk Points per second)
• Leaning no longer Stalks faster
• Tremendously decreases Marked duration on Survivors (-20 seconds)
• Stalk progress slightly regresses after not being stalked for 5 seconds. (-0.5 Stalk Points every 1 second)
• Unlocks the ability to kill healthy, or injured Survivors who are Marked.
This means:
• It'd take 15 continuous seconds of being Stalked to be Marked.
• Ghost Face would have 25 seconds (or 27 counting the 2 seconds before the Mark starts to count down) to get within M1 range and kill you.
• If you revealed Ghost Face while being stalked you would have 25 seconds of Stalk decay or 12.5 Stalk Points (1.87 seconds) removed before he can stalk you again.
-
It's not bad but having the potential to lose your tokens because you accidentally ran past a few totems in a chase just kills the idea for me.

I disagree about the Chucky part. I think that could make him unique and fun, instead of being a normal-sized human walking towards you normally. They even shrunk Demogorgon down to fit. Boring.
In exchange for being hard to locate, Chucky could have to climb up a person to actually start damaging them, maybe survivors could get him off by vaulting, and maybe a pallet stun could kill him dead.
No no no.
In exchange for being ridiculously small Chucky has his camera more or less on the ground (enjoy literally any foliage) and he can be kicked away like a Football by a running Survivor.
-
I recommend:
Borrowed Time
Decisive Strike
Kindred
[Exhaustion Perk]
Still comes down to hoping the perfect scenario happens but it'll help.
-
Implement said system:
Man I don't like [Insert bad reason to disconnect], lemme just unplug this wire and... looks like my internet "accidentally" went down AGAIN for the 10th time today but luckily I'm not punished for it because I didn't purposely disconnect. :^)
Yeah no, if you're inappropriately disconnecting because of stupid things like it being a certain Killer/Map/Survivor/Item/Perk/Add On/Etc. Then you deserve that penalty, it was designed mainly for you.
Internet went out for the 3rd time today? Playing during a storm? Your pet chewed on a wire and it "sort of works"? Well you still deserve the penalty for not only ruining 4 other players match multiple times (intentional or not you Readying Up means you're saying you're okay to play a match) but also for not taking the first few penalties as a sign to STOP and go see whatever issue on your end is and fix it before continuing.
And in the more uncommon case of you encountering a gamebreaking bug/glitch enough to somehow rack up a big penalty and you 100% know it isn't on you're end, then why haven't you stopped and decided to report said issue and get assistance on the matter.

Operation Give Survivors Purple Kool-aid Dust:
Thick Cork Stopper & Fingerless Parade Gloves
BBQ & Chili/Thrilling Tremors
Brutal Strength
Pop Goes the Weasel/Surge?
Save The Best For Last/Sloppy Butcher/Corrupt Intervention/Etc.
Survivors need their Kool-aid Dust and Clown is the only one who can eat through their Pallets to deliver it to them.

Which Survivor has the best smile while on hook in your entire facecamping career?

One minor thing:
For a Halloween Sale you'd expect the older cosmetics for the established Halloween Event to go on sale at a consistent and good price at the very least, right?
And yet we have:
• Trapper, Wraith, and Hillbilly 75% off
• Hag & Plague 50% off
• Dwight, Doctor, and Clown 40% off
• Claudette & Huntress 30% off
• Jake & Spirit 20% off
Hope you wanted Trapper, Wraith, Hillbilly, Hag, or Plagues' cosmetics because those are the only ones at a decent sale price really.

Highly doubt a Licensed Character would have a cosmetic available for Shards, or if they did would be at the very least double or triple the regular shard cost because licensing.

Yeah if you have one guy running around revealing him whenever he goes into Shroud, it’s not a problem. That’s not really a thing that happens to me in solo queue, lol.
Or just be alert on generators when you see someone running in the nearby tiles, which was about half of the reveals I got on him in Solo.
-
Had roughly under 9K before the "event" began.
Bought Felix for perks.
Bought Felix's Halloween Torso as his Browns, Yellows, and Greens were... mediocre... and I'm not spending 7,000ish Shards on his Purple one or Auric cells for the other one.
Now I just need to decide which pants show off his butt the best and I can add him to the list of All Perking. :^)
