He’s just really ######### annoying. Breaking him out is pointless because they all run recovery add ons, and breaking him out is also difficult a lot of the time, but it’s also necessary because a killer having no TR and no red stain with an all black outfit is reasonably strong, especially if you’re not on comms with your team. Tier 1 Myers gets no red stain and no TR but he’s slow, loud and much more visible than GF, plus once he gets out of tier 1 he can’t go back. GF has no such drawbacks (not that I’m saying he should, just that letting him stay cloaked and not trying to break him out is a bad idea).
Plus, most GF’s play hit and run playstyle which is not that fun for me personally. YMMV. I also dislike scratched mirror Myers for the same reason.
The drawback of Night Shroud is that you're entire power (The crouching albeit fun isn't particularly useful by itself) can be stopped by a Survivor for iirc 30 seconds base, which means Faceghost becomes a M1 Killer that has nothing to help him if he didn't get to pop a mark off before being revealed.
Had a match where I revealed a Faceghost like 7 times when he was stalking someone else, he barely got to actually successfully down people with marks because I denied him so many opportunities so he had to M1 instead while generators were getting done.
-
Hungry Hungry Hills: Now with extra Dweets.
Any chance they'll disable the maps for this?
No?
Great.
-
Night Shroud is going Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs about every other Faceghost match.
Had matches where I easily reveal him constantly/ducked behind cover to prevent reveal numerous times.
Then the OTHER matches where the game thinks every object is a literal jungle gym wall at every angle/every object is see through apparently.

The community has been asking for training or casual modes (aka a more forgiving mode) for ages.
Until now, the reasoning against such mode was that it would split the community to much.
But i think the contrary would happen. As some people just don´t want to play ranked. So they prefer not playing at all.
They could literally just overhaul KYF and allow you to add in Bots.
At the very least it would give new players a chance to understand how their Loadout works and practice basic things like skill checks or a rough idea of how chases go.
But nah, would be going against their practice of pumping out the newest DLC every 3 months and undermine the entire point of selling Beginner Perks like Technician, Windows Of Opportunity, and Visionary as DLC.
You do the bare bones "tutorials" then get thrown into poor matchmaking and hope you learn anything through the struggle.

Bound Envelope x4
Makeshift Survivor only BPS, enjoy.

I don't have a favorite, I guess Treatment Theatre is my most "bearable" map.
Midwich can go roll around in the various oils, play with a fire barrel, then have it's ashes ejected from The Entity.

I actually couldn't care less about keys. All I ask for is a ranger medkit and instead 9/10 times I get a green toolbox...
Sounds like you could use a Green Map with no add ons.
-
Plunder's isn't the issue, the key itself is the issue.
Now if Plunder's say guaranteed you find a Dull/Skeleton Key like Pharmacy guarantees you find a Emergency Medkit then yes Plunder's would be the problem in that particular situation.
-
There were a few times where I was either slugged and camped on picked up and put down over and over and over the entire match, watched until I bled out so I left one match.
Stop disconnecting for inappropriate reasons or accept the penalty and don't complain when you suddenly have a big timer lock.
I also left another match because I got stuck in a glitch and couldn’t play.
If true that's unfortunate and a more justifiable reason to disconnect, make sure said issue is reported/already reported.
Then there was a game where I got stuck in a T pose and couldn’t do anything except die so I used my first few low penalty disconnects for stuff like that.
If true that's unfortunate and a more justifiable reason to disconnect but you could've simply just waited to die instead, make sure said issue is reported/already reported.
But my internet crashed on me twice after that as well.
That's a YOU issue, DBD cannot tell the difference between "my connection died randomly" and "I unplugged the Router :^)" nor cares, if you cannot ensure a reliable connection for a MULTIPLAYER game then you shouldn't be playing as it still ruins a match for 4 other players.
-
If you are reaching a 24 hour or longer ban then you are:
A) Disconnecting for inappropriate reasons WAY too often and need to stop. (I'm not saying you are but honestly this is the most common reason and why the entire DC penalty even exists)
B) Disconnecting for unintentional reasons (Power outage, Bad connection, etc.) way too often and need to stop and possibly figure out what is wrong on your end and fix it before trying to play.
C) Disconnecting for justified reasons (IRL emergency, Gamebreaking bug/glitch, etc.) somehow way too often and need to either go deal with said emergency or figure out what exactly went wrong and properly report said issue after checking to make sure nothing on your end was the reason why.
D) Spaghetti Code broke itself so hard it literally just randomly gave you a day+ ban somehow.
-
I would say the only Stealth Killers who really get countered by Spine Chill are Myers and Ghostface as they have to ya know... actively be looking at Survivors for their powers to do something.
I'm fine with Spine Chill mostly, I just don't see why it still needs the skill check and action speed parts anymore.
-
Because you being suspended on THAT piece of metal and being slowly killed isn't the same as being suspended on THIS piece of metal and being slowly killed.
wait...
-
All I really keep on 28 Stab Wounds: The Gang is BBQ and Thanataphobia.
BBQ should be obvious.
Thanataphobia should also be obvious.
The other two slots is really whatever you want.
-
Why not.
-
Is the match Salvageable?
Yes: Well try your best (get the Killers' attention if you're not on death hook, do gens, etc.).
No: Farm Bloodpoints as much as possible (cleanse totems, open chests, heal, etc.).
-
The damage is already done anyways, released the most pathetic event so far and no changes will ever fix how I see them releasing future events. (Can't wait for the next one to be worse somehow, perhaps they'll paywall most of the skins behind the Battle Pass so you either spend $10 to get the chance to unlock them or get literally nothing at all :^) )
On the bright side I now get rewarded for not even playing DBD with some Shards and Bloodpoints so good job Behaviour on dropping my play time to a literal minute a day for little bit.
Happy "Event" everyone and don't forget they really do appreciate you giving them money for less effort on a reoccurring event.
-
Surge.
Remove the M1 Requirement, Remove the 32 Meter requirement, reduce the cooldown by 10 seconds.
Add "the closest 3 Generators of the downed Survivor with progress on them regress by 8% and continue regressing"
You now have opposite Pop.
-
Skins look neat but don't want any of them (Curse you Ghostface Body being linked) and the previous Halloween skins I might of wanted aren't following the previous Halloween's "you can use the currency to buy ANY of the Halloween Cosmetics" so I don't want any of them either.
Oh yeah also still doesn't give incentive to PLAY the game but just log in, grab your shards, then quit so... still a sad "event".
Oh the bright Side I'll be unlocking Felix so that's a thing.
-
It was a good read besides this part.
Be aware I'm not looking to argue with anyone about whether Freddy is too strong or not. He very much is and the chart above confirms it. We need to discuss ways to fix this.
How does the chart confirm anything? You know the thing Behaviour tells us to not use to draw conclusions from every time they release one?
Example: Nurse apparently needs significant buffs, with her power overly punishing mistakes and worst base movement speed the chart confirms it by showing her Kill rate is 40% with a 10% difference from the 2nd worst Killer.
Plus you used the All Ranks one which is even less reliable for data (even though the Red Rank one is already unreliable due to many, many variables).

All perks give you crutch effects so obviously all perks are small pp builds.
Play with whatever perks you want.

Honestly the only issue I could think of with his Add Ons is that they're all over the place.
Boyfriend's Memo, Glass Fragment, and Scratched Mirror only work with EW1.
Reflective Fragment, Dead Rabbit (for a benefit), Mirror Shard, and Vanity Mirror only work with EW2.
Tombstone Piece, Judith's Tombstone, and Fragrant Tuft of Hair only work with EW3.
Judith's Journal only works with the Obsession.
So we have:
• 1 out of 3 Browns
• 3 out of 6 Yellows
• 2 out of 5 Greens
• 3 out of 4 Purples
• 2 out of 2 Pinks
That's 11 out of 20 (or 55%)
I mean creativity 10/10 but wow that's a lot of add ons for making a gimmick or playstyle around a single part of his power instead of doing something with the entire power.
-
The real horror is experiencing how much it costs to buy all the skins & Battle Pass with Auric cells. :^)
-
Either:
A) Wait 8 seconds before smacking the Survivor who got FTP'd
B) Smack the Survivor who is now Forcibly Injured for roughly 2 minutes (90 seconds + Getting Healed)
C) Option B but you notice the Survivor who got FTP'd is trying to Bodyblock for the other Survivor, swap to Option A.
D) Play Vommy Mommy (Plague) 24/7 and cripple/invalidate their healing perks. :^)
-
I guess we can expect a Nurse, Plague, Blight, and Demo buff soonish as they're clearly the worst 4 Killers. :^)
I especially can't wait for the totally obvious buff to Plague of having her Super Vomit literally dissolve everything it touches permanently removing it from the match.
-
If only it worked with medkits, would give me a reason to actually use Suture + Needle for a healing build.
-
So Clown is Add On reliant to be viable.
Meaning he's still bad.

What even is this event other than cosmetics?
I guess trying to use the Event Generators/Hooks for the extra Bloodpoints... oh wait Pustula Petals are kinda bad so why even use them.
Then maybe collecting the cool event items/add ons is the event... oh wait the Bloodweb is inflated with junk so there goes all your Bloodpoints.
Well you can do these cool event challenges with it spawning a flower... which is just finding it then holding M1 for like 30 seconds total.
Well I guess you can just spend money on the Rift or the Halloween Cosmetics.
-
• Purchasing the base game.
• Purchasing any Licensed DLC (to a lesser extent also Original DLC but you can slowly grind Iridescent shards for those instead if you don't mind the suffering).
• Purchasing any Cosmetics that can only be obtained with their premium currency: Auric Cells (to a lesser extent also Cosmetics that can be bought with Iridescent Shards).
• Purchasing a Battle Pass with Auric Cells.
• Purchasing Battle Pass Tiers with more Auric Cells.
Hmmm... I can say without a doubt they obviously need to make more money as these clearly aren't working.
Now time to get back into Spaghetti Code Simulator and run from a supermodel with the flu trying to beat me with her lamp.
-
Just do the repetitively dull or absurdly difficult challenges The Rift gives you, that's kind of like x2 Bloodpoints to Behaviour apparently.
Also don't forget to buy their Rift Pass because they really appreciate you giving them money.
:)
-
When a majority (51%+) of my Survivor matches were barely getting 2 generators done before Killer just has too much pressure and wins (be from 3-4K or turning the match into a Farming match out of pity) due to a different Survivor filling a vial then dying on first hook?
Yeah no good riddance.
And don't get me started on needing to dedicate Agitation and Iron Grasp because event hooks decided to spawn around the perimeter when I have 3 other hooks I could easily get to first.

I know how to read, I’m saying it’s dumb the EULA says that because the devs can just be lazy and ban people instead of fixing the problem, I’m not someone who activley tries to abuse exploits but I dont think it should be a bannable offense.
and I don’t have zero risk of it happening, for a while nurse’s walking addon was bugged and made her go extremely fast, I use that addon on nurse if I’m doing a daily or anything because I’m trash at nurse. If I did that while the bug was still a thing I was at risk of being banned, same with Ash’s sound being bugged, I main ash so does me playing as ash while he is bugged mean I should be banned?
You. Agreed. To. The. EULA. Go revoke consent and or tell whoever is having an issue about the EULA if it's that big of an issue for you or them.
Also I'm not Behaviour or one of the people who enforce the EULA so please don't go asking me hypotheticals, if you have a question or issue about it then i'm sure contacting one of the Mods, Developers, or Customer Support would help as they're more likely to know about these types of things.

Im not gonna exploit I just thunk thatcrule should be removed
Then you have zero risk of being banned due to exploiting "errors in design, features which are not documented, and/or bugs" from the EULA.
Still don't like the EULA saying that? Then you can easily and politely not agree to abide by the EULA anymore by going to Options -> Settings -> Privacy and clicking "Revoke Consent".
I mean you won't be able to play DBD anymore until you willingly agree to the EULA again but it'll easily solve your issue about it.
Oh yeah the EULA's literal first paragraph also, here you go.
PLEASE READ THIS END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT (“EULA” OR “AGREEMENT“) CAREFULLY. BY USING AND PARTICIPATING IN THE GAME YOU AGREE THAT THIS EULA IS ENFORCEABLE LIKE ANY WRITTEN CONTRACT SIGNED BY YOU. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS EULA, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE GAME. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INTERNET CONNECTION FEES THAT YOU INCUR WHEN USING AND PARTICIPATING.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught and killed.
I. Rules of Conduct
While participating in the Game, you also agree to comply with certain rules of conduct that govern your use of the Game (“Rules of Conduct”), for example you may not:
[About 15 other Bullet Points that don't matter for this specific thing]
• Exploit errors in design, features which are not documented, and/or bugs to gain access that would otherwise not be available or to obtain any competitive advantage.
[Another 3 Bullet Points that don't matter]
@ThePolice You agreed to this so...
-
Two things DBD desperately needs:
1) Mature Sassy Women
2) Inanimate Objects that really want to kill you
I present to you:
And
-
My top 5:
1) Botany Knowledge: a simple and sweet faster heal with a lovely 33% efficiency bonus for Medkits so they last for a partial extra heal. (also Claudette was my first Survivor so heavily biased)
2) Head On: Enjoyable to annoy the Killer and grab their attention, especially when you interrupt their chase with another Survivor and make them chase you.
3) Inner Strength: Break a totem for 1,000 Boldness AND get a literal pocket heal for myself as a bonus? yes please.
4) Resilience: A nice and simple small buff to most actions, pair with Spine Chill for the "Vault Build", shave a few seconds of a Generator, etc.
5) Lithe: Not the best Exhaustion Perk but vaulting and running off while the Killer has to go around (or through) the vault with the possibility to break chase and lose them.
-
Ultimate Broken Build: No Mither, Deliverance, Second Wind, For The People
-
Possibly due to the fact it's a perk for a Licensed Character so they can't just immediately go messing with it (excluding the chance it has a bug/glitch associated with it) without some sort of approval.
-
Too many variables so they're useless.
-
It's like beating a Maurice with a Kanabo...
Bring a Rainbow Map.
Don't have any? Map with Red Twine.
Don't have any? Dedicate a slot to Detective's Hunch.
Don't have Tapp/Shrine is giving junk? Dedicate a slot to Small Game.
Can't dedicate a slot? Better start learning those totem spawns.
You were cleansing Totems but NOED still triggered? Blame the 3 other Survivors for not doing their part, not the Killers' fault only 1/4th of their opposition attempted to counter their perk.

@KasumiFox said:
As killer, I've DC a few times due to household emergencies suddenly arising (my brother falling into glass, my puppy chewing on electrical coards, etc.)
It would be nice if there was some kind of option to say there was some sort of emergency or there were some odd things going on with the game. Although I don't see too many people DC due to bugs. Of course, there would have to be a limit to that. Weird idea though.
No, people don't need a free amount of "I don't like [Literally any and all inappropriate reasons to Disconnect] so I'll just disconnect for free".
The penalties already do this by giving you a slap on the wrist for the first few penalties before it actually starts being serious about making you stop playing and wait.
Emergency? Well a 5-15 minute lock means nothing because you should probably focus on the actual emergency and making sure everything is okay before returning.
Outage? The power is off so you can't play anyways.
Bug/Glitch/Crash? Taking the proper time to figure out what went wrong or what the issue is then reporting it properly before attempting to play again would probably take a fair amount of time.
-
Only if her power gets a built in way to disarm the traps to compensate. :)
-
Nah, base kit still has issues from being panic nerfed.
4 Second Fatigue on a power with zero lethality. (unless you run a HORRIBLE Purple Add On and waste so much time chasing a single Survivor)
Losing half of your power gauge on a successful Basic Attack.
Frenzy ending after a single miss.
-
If you have a recording of them refusing to touch a generator or progress the match in any way and just immerse around for 10+ minutes you can report them then use said video as evidence for holding the game hostage.
-
As much as I'd love to repeat the same handful of things people do genuinely feel are an actual issue with Pyramid Head I have to question one thing.
"Another thing I see is how people say PH isn't mobile enough, yet I'm consistently getting my 4 kills no problem. He has mobility,"
Uh... No? Unless i'm apparently overlooking something TriangleFace has zero mobility (and no, being a 115% movement speed Killer isn't mobility) anywhere in his power.
Wraith Cloak? Underwhelming but still makes you move faster.
Billy Chainsaw Dash? makes him move faster then 115%.
Oni Demon Dash? you move faster.
Legion, Nurse, Spirit, Blight yadda yadda you get the point.
-
Deliverance:
After performing a Unsafe Hook Rescue on another Survivor, the Perk activates.
You now have a 100 % chance to immediately reach Stage 3 during the escape attempt.
A successful Deliverance from the Hook triggers the Dead Status Effect for ∞ seconds.
Coulrophobia:
Your clowning around instills great fear.
Survivors within your Terror Radius have a 30/40/50 % increased fear to clowns.
-
Any Means Necessary:
You stand up for yourself, using whatever's on hand to gain an advantage.
Press and hold the Active Ability button for 4 seconds while standing beside the Killer to pull out a Glock 20 and shoot them, stunning them for 5 seconds and applying a permanent stackable 1% Hindered Status Effect.
Any Means Necessary has a cool-down of 100/80/60 seconds.
Trial of Torture:
You guide your victims along a path of pain and punishment.
After kicking a Generator, a 180 second Endgame Collapse timer will begin ticking down and will only pause when the Generator stops regressing or a Survivor is Sacrificed.
During this time, the Generator's Aura is revealed in yellow to all Survivors.
Trail of Torture can only be triggered once every 80/70/60 seconds.
-
Knowledge:
You transform everything around the campfire into knowledge for sustenance. Learning Speed and Learning Efficiency are increased by 11/22/33%.
Hex: Hope:
A Hex rooting it's power on suffering. The suffering of yourself ignites Survivors confidence. When you are stunned or blinded by a Survivor within 24 meters of you, Hope receives a token.
• 2 Tokens: Survivors gain a 3% Haste status effect.
• 3 Tokens: You suffer from a 5% Hindered status effect.
• 5 Tokens: Grants the ability for Survivors to open Exit Gates or Hatch by their own hand.
The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.

Yeah I mean it even negates blood.
Like how are you supposed to track Survivors at all without blood?
Even worse it counters the Killer's Bloodpoint gains, That usual 600 for 2 Basic Attacks? you only earn 300 now.
-
Yeah this is why No Mither is so strong, just invalidates so many things that it's nearly impossible to counter it.
