  • Reminds me of a match on Ormond against a newer Nurse.

Never downed anyone (got like 2 hits the entire match), gens got done, got Tbagged at the exits by the other 3 Survivors.

Gave her my flashlight I found, let her down me, and let myself die to EGC so she gets Bloodpoints because it was a Rank 17 Nurse with 3 perks at tier 1.

TL;DR: Take my Bloodpoints and get some decent Perks.

  • Would clearly make No Mither even more overpowered.

Counter any powers that can down and Perks that require hitting and or downing a Survivor by just downing yourself instead then use your infinite Unbreakable to get back up to go right back into doing it again.

  • Self Care itself isn't bad.

The Players using Self Care are bad.

I personally myself prefer to run Botany with a Medkit when possible or Inner Strength for a Pocket Heal instead of having to take myself out of the match for 32 seconds with the possibility of Nurse's Calling or Sloppy Butcher making it more risky.

Aside from the terror radius heartbeat, this hotfix literally did nothing. I'm still losing games due to not being able to hook survivors or having to press the button a hundred times to break a pallet or open a locker.

Dropping a Survivor then picking them back up solved the issue for me every time it happened.

Or just don't play Killer, really tempted to do this myself.

  • You mean more potential Bloodpoints.

  • If a 115% Killer somehow gets to Bloodlust 3 (130%) then they're probably new or bad.

  • My guess is:

    A) To keep you playing instead of grind an absurd amount (say 5 million) in a short period of time then put the game down until a new character you want releases to have all the perks and add ons you want immediately.

    B) Easier to detect players giving themselves Bloodpoints to do something about it.

  • Hag.

    • Forcibly pulls your camera to traps (annoying)

    • Difficult to practically impossible traps to notice

    • Can't disable traps you do notice so hope you're running Urban Evasion, Fixated while also Healthy, or brought a Flashlight with a Battery

    • Hag can easily trap a hook and force you to crouch unless you want her to teleport from halfway across the map, might as well give up on the rescue if it's the basement because she put traps all the way down the stairs

  • Bubba, just facecamp and rev your saw when necessary and worst case scenario you get a hook trade because even a Styptic Agent won't save you from the chainsaw when going for the unhook.

But Monstrous Shrine is a terrible perk numbers wise so i'd consider swapping it for something else.

  • Oh wow look ANOTHER Survivor linked set that obviously has a head that can easily be slapped onto any other Torso and work.

Looks nice though, like the flower crown.

  • I always wanted Surge to more or less be the reverse Pop Goes The Weasel where instead of big regression on one Generator it instead applied a small regression on multiple Generators.

    So something like:

    • Remove the Basic Attack requirement.

    • Reduce the Cooldown from 60/50/40 to 40/35/30 seconds.

    • Change it from Generators within 32 meters of the downed Survivor to the closest 3 Generators of the downed Survivor that are able to be regressed. (doesn't work on currently regressing generators, completed generators, or blocked generators.)

So best case scenario 3 Generators get regressed for 8% (6.4 seconds) for a total of 24% (19.2 seconds).

But nah, keep Surge in its overly picky requirement state and i'll just keep running Pop for a guaranteed regression that is reliable.

  • Hmm I can't really see it.

If it's a Stealth Killer then high possibility I get unhooked and don't get any Aura reveal.

If the Killer is Facecamping/Decides to stay close enough to the hook that I have visual or good enough estimate of their location the Aura reveal did little to nothing.

The hook sabotaging for 3 minutes would be good except for the fact there is typically 1 or 2 hooks within carrying distance of the hook.

The only way I could really see benefiting off of Breakdown is in a Sabo Squad and abuse the hook that got deleted for 3 minutes.

  • Bring Detective's Hunch and M1 your generator, then you get to typically see where 2 totems are after finishing it to go do.

Don't have Tapp or Shrine Of Secrets being trash as usual? Small Game cuts down on search time by quickly sweeping each tile with your camera.

Don't have the perk slots to spare? Bring a Rainbow Map.

Don't have a Rainbow Map? Bring a Map with Red Twine.

Don't have a Map? Learn the typical spots totems spawn.

Been doing totems but other Survivors aren't helping with totems? Yell at them to do totems.

  • Or just make it work with Medkits.

Then you can run Surgical Suture and Needle & Thread if you really want Skill Checks to appear.

  • Except there is no accepted answer as to what a win or loss exactly is.

Is it Escaping the trial? Killing Survivors?

Is it how many Survivors escaped in total against the total killed?

Is it Pipping from the Emblem System?

Could it be getting as close as possible to the 32K Bloodpoint Limit?

Does me as Survivor Escaping, the other 3 Survivors being killed, I depipped, and I got 20K Bloodpoints mean I won or lost?

How about killing none of the Survivors and they all escape, I Pipped, and earned 30K Bloodpoints?

  • Nah what's Dead By Daylight without the usual Bugs and Glitches DLC every 3 months that includes a free Killer and Survivor.

Then they attempt to nerf said bugs and glitches but don't do it 100% proper so they're still overpowered more or less.

  • Just play Ghostface and proceed to have a Tbagging contest.

  • With how often I see the typical Survivor self caring while affected by Sloppy Butcher on the other half of them map with Kindred.

And i'm the one having to go unhook or i'm hooked.

Might as well unhook the meat shield for bloodpoints I guess.

  • Wish Autodidact worked with Medkits so you could throw on Suture + Needle to get skill checks.

And then still never get skill checks because Autodidact might as well be Instructions for healing.

  • Kindred: The absolute best perk for Solo Survivor, gives all the information you could ever want during the important parts of a trial so you know what to do instead of hoping you made the correct decision. (Because Entity knows the other 3 Survivors are going to act like headless chickens at least once during the trial)

The rest can be whatever you want, DS if you need some Insurance due to potato Survivors, Exhaustion Perk for chases, Spine Chill to counter stealth, Self Care/Inner Strength for personal healing, etc etc etc.

  • What.png

Calls it Overdrive in title, then correctly calls it Overcharge, goes back to calling it Overdrive 3 more times.

  • Step 1) Play as Doctor

Step 2) Get a match with 4 Calm Spirit Jakes

    Step 3) Profit

  • So it pretty much encourages me to not Mori them because picking them up and third hooking them is in most situations faster, rewards more Bloodpoints, and delays their death for situations like hatch.

And that extra 0.5/0.75/1% slowdown (1.6/2.4/3.2 seconds) does nothing especially when it suffers from Thanatophobia Syndrome and gets weaker on top of an already weak debuff.

Aura Reveal is the only good part of this... except I could just run something like BBQ/Thrilling/Whispers instead if I wanted to track Survivors and get the previous benefits of third hooking instead.

Needs a nerf but not this.

  • I was also chasing the obsession at this time.

he said he thought that I was face camping so didnt go.

    this guy was rank 3.

Takes a special kind of Survivor to not notice the HUD existing apparently.

  • Do I see 3-4 Toolboxes/1-4 Keys?

    Yes?

    Then goodbye.

  • Just always run Trapper Sack/Trapper Bag/Stitched Bag and Logwood Dye/Tar Bottle, A Faint/Hazy/Murky Reagent, and Whispers.

And then hope they didn't put Object Of Obsession on to invalidate all of that because they just get to know where you placed every single trap.

  • Nope, they poorly introduced it and continued to poorly do it.

Had to check the patch notes out of everything to figure out what two diamonds meant. (Nice Job on that)

Skins that didn't require linking at all because Konami being horrible.

Skins that didn't need to be fully linked that wasn't Konami's doing. (Nea head was shown to be fine on other bodies, Jane head, Clown weapon, Oni weapon)

Legendary Skins being more or less overpriced Purple Sets.

And worst of all: Can't Mix & Match Shirtless Clown, my Shirtless Mr Puddles dreams are shattered.

  • Decisive Strike and Kindred are the must haves for playing Solo because you can't trust 3 randoms every single match.

Then the other two perks are honestly whatever you want, I usually dedicate one for an Exhaustion Perk then the last slot is whatever I want.

While it isn't the best perk you're completely forgetting about the Blood Amber addon that reveals the Killer's aura within 32 meters or even other key addons (Run one of these on a green key with Prayer Beads attached to make it 25 seconds and the perk does what it's supposed to). You can even run Bond ontop of that for synergy AND another side effect is that the aura stacks across a team meaning multiple survivors running Open Handed + Blood Amber is built in map hacks for the survivors

So it requires me to run a key (the thing that really makes Killers consider putting on Ebony Mori, Franklin's, or tunnel/camp you) while using a Purple Add On and hope I get a Killer that doesn't have Undetectable and that 3 other Survivors decided to also run this same build to have it do something good.

Kinda just hammers in how useless Open-Handed is by itself and really is worst perk.

  • Open-Handed.

Why? it requires 2 Perk slots to do anything, it's a dead Perk if you decided "I just want to run Open-Handed and nothing else"

With other perks like No Mither, Sole Survivor, This Is Not Happening, or even Buckle Up (eugh) you get SOMETHING beneficial out of running just that single perk.

With Open-Handed you're HAVE to run something it works with (oh yay it's also restricting my choice of perks with those 4 precious slots) like Bond or Kindred (Empathy covers all maps by itself and Object Of Obsession has a big enough range by itself) and it's effect? congratulations the 2nd Perk you had to equip gets a underwhelming 8 Meter buff, that's it, nothing else.

The doctor can do it with his shock so im guessing freddy's snare animation is just a bit longer than that?

IIRC I usually got about 3-4 Snares to trigger before the Survivor opened the gate. (shinnanagins with the last Survivor after closing hatch) so not really, about like ~5 seconds between scream.

  • @catnip18 said:

Outside body blocking a last survivor somewhere they cant move I dont believe freddy can take the game hostage. Possibly using his snares to prevent exit gates opening but im unsure if that'd work (sitting behind a survivor and keep laying snares so they scream and cant open it without attacking them)

The initial scream from triggering the snare would interrupt the Survivor but Freddy cannot place a new snare until the previous one finishes it's animation and disappears, then waiting for the newly placed snare to fully set up to trigger.

  • I wouldn't mind them reducing the increase on the Offerings so you have a good chance of getting the map but not a 99.999% chance.

  • Small Game is fine, a 45 degree cone of 12 meters lets you do a quick camera sweep of each tile and if it activates you can easily narrow down where it's at.

I wouldn't mind giving Small Game a totem counter (via tokens) so it's easier for Solo Survivors to know how many Totems are left due to the inability of the other 3 randoms to touch them.

  • Only the best.

I'm not gonna avoid playing killer for 6 weeks. And let me mention it again that I've deranked to 17 once (for one trial) but I have no idea how.

Well then suck it up and hope you get newer players at Rank 16 if you don't want to wait.

  • No challenge is impossible, just a big headache to attempt.

Sacrifice all 4 Survivors in the basement? yeah probably not going to happen unless the Survivors are just THAT Altruistic.

Stun the Killer multiple times using Pallets in a single trial is dependent on getting a Killer who doesn't have an alternative way to hit you (Nurse, Huntress, Spirit, Plague, Deathslinger, TriangleHead) and hope they're not going to respect pallets.

Any and all challenges that requires EGC to be active suck and I personally will not purposely go out of my way to do an End Game build.

  • Rank 20 through 16 cannot depip.

The ONLY way to get to Rank 20 after breaking out of Brown ranks is to wait for the monthly reset at Rank 16-13 to be reset to Rank 17 (the highest Brown Rank) then wait for another monthly reset at rank 17 to be reset to Rank 20.

  • a successful Decisive Strike or using For The People changes you to the obsession so you could just hope when gates are 99'd/open you get unhooked and picked up or waiting in the exit gate for someone Injured to appear.

  • I feel like Spirit needs a nerf to how blue she is so give her more clothing.

  • Honestly all I want is her Husk to glow White for a second or two when she begins phasing so I know to adjust my plan.

And to remove the "Mindgame" at a dropped Pallet.

  • Obviously holding and throwing hatchets would put strain on poor Huntress's arm so she needs a Overheat mechanic for those mean Players who decide to make her hold a fully charged Hatchet for more than 10 seconds or decide to throw 3+ hatchets within 30 seconds understand she needs a break.

(They'll find some way to nerf her base power and nobody will like it)

  • Rusty Shackles Mint Rag Hag

  • I'm sorry but unless it's The Game or Midwich (and even then The Game isn't too difficult to search due to every room being a map tile meaning you just gotta go to the upper/lower floor if you didn't find it on the other) it sounds more like a you issue for the inability to find a totem within 12 meters in a 45 degree cone than Small Game needing a buff.

  • Shirtless David

    Pantless Myers

    Honorable Mention to Dwelf

  • If only we had some sort of mechanic that makes Survivors easier to find if they decide to not do anything for a moderate amount of time.

    Oh wait Stillness Crows exist.

Unfortunately they suck and don't work for immersive Survivors so I guess you just have to bring Whispers every single match or play a Killer like Doctor or Oni who have good built in tracking. (To a lesser extent Plague)

  • Shelter Woods is still a boring bland mess that really needs an update.

Rotten Fields is a small improvement but suffers the same issue as Shelter Woods. (at least it has Pig Tree which is something unique)

Blood Lodge is big and can screw over either side depending how RNG decides it wants to spawn.

Disturbed Ward's center is absurdly strong.

Mother's Dwelling is still a little bit too big.

Family Residence is a little too big and Bamboo is absurd for stealth.

    Ormond is big.

AND FINALLY Midwich is a terrible map design wise for both sides and I want to throw it out a window for being probably the worst designed map so far.

  • If Balanced Landing activated then it should count.

Well besides that the falling challenges are notoriously buggy and can decide they just don't want to track that you fell and got staggered.

  • Sorry I can't hear you over all the screaming and footsteps.

  • The perk isn't bad.

The player using the perk at the wrong time or inappropriately in certain scenarios is bad.

Killer has Sloppy Butcher or Nurse's Calling? Probably better to use a medkit or another Survivor to reduce the time required unless absolutely necessary.

Someone on Hook and Self Care would make them hit the next stage? go unhook them first.

A Generator is close to being finished? Probably worth the risk staying Injured to complete it before the Killer passes by.

It's Legion. (This one is pretty self explanatory)

    It's Plague. (Also self explanatory)
