Small game should show you auras

Even with the sound you cant find tótems

  • or just take detectives hunch and a map instead :)

  • You're not looking hard enough.

  • It's not that hard to figure out where the totem is once you hear the sound. The only times it's rough is on maps like The Game and Midwich because you can't tell which floor the totem is on.

  • I'm sorry but unless it's The Game or Midwich (and even then The Game isn't too difficult to search due to every room being a map tile meaning you just gotta go to the upper/lower floor if you didn't find it on the other) it sounds more like a you issue for the inability to find a totem within 12 meters in a 45 degree cone than Small Game needing a buff.

  • Never had any issue with it myself. It's been useful, especially against Hag or Trapper. Its cone of influence is concise enough to locate totems and traps, and it has a very low cooldown. It's a decent perk as is for me.

  • So, you're asking for survivors to be able to just see all totems for free. No map required. Takes the fun and fairness out of finding them.

Let's turn this around. Imagine if killers had a perk that showed arrows on where to go instead of scratches. Takes the fun and fairness out of finding the sneaky peeps.

Point being, put some effort in. You're survivor, you have the easy role in the game. Half the time, survivors spawn next to the darned thing, so this perk change would just destroy people using totems whatsoever.

  • Small Game tells you the general area of a totem in a tile and once you have enough experience you will know where the totem spawmed in said tile so it really doesnt need to show auras, its a perk thats better once you have enough time in the game.

  • The old Small Game showed auras... which was kinda broken since it highlighted beartraps making them completely ineffective. That's why they changed to how it is now.
