It becomes a perk that has a strong effect with no downside to balance it out.
So yes it would be pretty overpowered considering all 4 Survivors could simply equip a perk and no longer have to worry about any and all aura reading ever from the start of a match. (Also Scratch Marks occasionally)
Also it becomes a extremely better Sole Survivor even though Sole Survivor is terrible and could use an update.
-
A proper addition of a tutorial mode would be appreciated instead of the bare bones ones we have (which surprise to no one teaches you barely anything actually helpful in a typical match) then just throwing new players into a terrible matchmaker which proceeds to throw you again into a match where you know barely anything.

They said outfits from the Rift I meant to be added 6 months after that specific Rift closes and event-based outfits will be added the next time the event comes around basically in the year.
The problem is we are coming up to to a year since first Rift and we haven't seen the first Rift cosmetics come up. Especially when you consider with the Rift coming up in a couple of weeks there is four more rifts for them to catch up on.
At this stage I'm thinking that we might not even get the Rift outfits in the store which is a shame and I say that as someone who has basically completed every Rift.
Because I already have it I don't listen to we need it to come in the store but but I do think they should make it available to everybody especially considering it was a promise.
They've made the promise to stray away away from exclusives and I do feel like they should honour that.
Granted we still do have things like the death garden masks which might remain exclusive forever so who knows
"If you missed some rewards in The Rift, most of them will eventually be available in our in-game store after a minimum period of 6 months."
a minimum of 6 months =/= added immediately after 6 months.

This magical thing called "Kill Your Friends" has all your needs for messing around and not caring about ranks or going against serious players.
Don't need to make matchmaking somehow worse by hypothetically splitting the playerbase in half with another mode.
-
Buff Remember Me to regress gates by a small amount per token, makes synergy with Blood Warden because either RM regresses the gate back to 0% with extra time, you open the gate and start EGC while risking BW, or one Survivor has to stay next to the gate making saves more difficult.
-
Rainbow Burrito is fine.
The regular Burrito? it's terrible.
Wouldn't mind Maps getting an update though, especially the add ons.

Firstly, that perk combo ain't broken.
Secondly, every perk should do something by itself. Undying wouldn't do anything by itself if they removed the aura reading. You shouldn't have to combo a perk with another for it to be worth running.
Thanks for reminding me that Open-Handed is the worst perk because it does nothing by itself.
Also that Open-Handed exists.

Fatigue reduced from 4 seconds to 3 seconds.
Successful Basic Attacks no longer drain 50% of the power gauge.
Missing an attack in Feral Frenzy now drains 33.3% of the power gauge instead of depleting Feral Frenzy's power gauge.
Add On adjustments. (Seriously Frank's Mixtape and Stab Wounds Study have got to go)

If you're truly going to be an Item Goblin (which is my new favorite build description btw), then you may as well bring Pharmacy as the 4th perk to save yourself that sweet sweet chest-opening time.
The idea is a shift from hoarding Emergency Medkits with Pharmacy (which is just Pharmacy and escape with the Emergency Medkit) to using said items for as long as possible in the match, the free slot is there as a variable to see what they would use if given the chance.
Example: They could use Ace In The Hole for add ons, or Pharmacy for search speed, or even something non chest related like Urban for Stealth.
-
Okay show the emblem % or a recording of the match, a Dark Sense challenge isn't a good indication as you could of literally just jumped on each generator when it was at 90%+ and it's only tracking the generator was finished while you were on it.
-
Time to have Quentin as your spirit animal and become a item goblin.
• Built To Last
• Plunder's Instinct
• Streetwise
• [Free Slot, any Perk you want]
Optional:
• Tarnished Coin/Shiny Coin
ETC:
• Any Survivor
• You're allowed to bring an item in with you
• Basement Chest Defender Bubba is the bane of your existence sadly

I mean, that's the point of charms so hooray their doing their job of looking neat?
Well for Killer anyways, throw a good amount of the charms on Survivor and you can't tell what it is half the time because it's tiny... or it's clipping into their cosmetic... Survivors really got the raw end of the deal on charms.
-
Skipping through a field of Hag Traps constantly Screaming.
I love it and hate it, thanks.
-
If all 4 Survivors are put into the Dying state within 1 or 2 minutes of the first down then you (or the other Survivors) are clearly doing something wrong.
-
Yeah no, I'd take the grind of the Bloodweb where I can speed up the process with offerings that give bonus bloodpoints and the ability to choose from multiple perks over "congratulations you played for x amount of time, do you want Slippery Meat or This Is Not Happening to use for the next handful of matches"
The whole RNG aspect of the grind is still an issue but not going to get into that.
-
Yeah Survivor's Pillbox and Hatchets need looked at, even if it's just adjustments so Survivors models are to be more within what is considered their hitbox so a hit doesn't look like it visually wouldn't hit because you were slouched over and crouching when the beach ball hatchet hit the air right over you.

If Technician is anything to go off they'll remove the exhaustion effect and make the survivor moan the entire time they're on a generator.
Well time to main Jane and Steve then.
I'd rather that the repair progression simply be buffed to say 70/80/90% and the Exhaustion increased to ~7 seconds on all tiers, would make it a good perk for Stealth Killers (or Demo emerging from portals if he wasn't excessively loud) to secure the first hit more easily.
-
If the Killer meta is suddenly Impossible Skill check Doctor then maybe.
-
Myers/Ghostface, Equip a Ebony, Equip Devour Hope and let it waste 14 seconds of time for one Survivor.
-
Aftercare
Autodidact
Inner Strength
Spine Chill
Who's ready to suffer at the hands of Autodidact RNG.

Put on Duration Add Ons.
Stab someone, Stab someone else, Stab someone else again, Stab someone else again x2, Stab the most recent stab victim again and get a migraine.
-
Santa? Clown's Carnie Claws Cosmetic
Krampus? closest thing is Oni's The Minotaur Cosmetic
-
They were THIS close to buffing all of Demodog's Teachables, RIP dream of having a fun and viable Surge.
Oh yeah and the buffs to Cruel Limits and Mindbreaker don't seem that great anyways, I don't expect much increase in their use.
-
• Pyramid Head: Don't play so don't care really, at least no more lose/lose situations so that's something.
• Trail of Torment: Insidious & Tinkerer's actually decent baby.
• Forced Penance: Eh...
• Blood Pact: Probably usable by SWF, still just sub-parish for Solo.
• Any Means Necessary: Better if you have a Survivor who is pallet hungry I guess, still does little if the Killer breaks or can play around pallets.
• Cruel Limits: Still doesn't block pallets for a perk that only works 5 times.
• For The People: Finally I now get the Bloodpoints I expect from healing someone.
• Mindbreaker: Still requires the gen being under 50%? Then it's still terrible.
• Slippery Meat:
• Thanataphobia: Well it'll either be an actually decent stall perk or still sub-par garbage.
• We’re Gonna Live Forever: Well I guess that my free slot in my Solo Build is permanently taken now, who needs perk diversity anyways.
• Technician: Training Wheels Perk that decided to hammer down on the Training Wheels instead of Stealth. (Oh yeah also gotta possibly buy Feng to even use it before it realistically becomes obsolete)
• Pop Goes The Weasel: Good, now all Generator Perks are decent and useful... oh wait Dead Man's Switch, Discordance, Gearhead, Overcharge, Surge, and Surveillance exist and could've really used a buff instead.
• Perk Rarity: Well it'll be a little easier to search for a perk now.
• Graphics Update: How many frames will this cost us? I expect DBD to be a slideshow eventually because Optimization doesn't actually exist.
-
Technically no but PvP game is PvP game so might as well.
-
Perks are sorted alphabetically and by rarity, it's not that difficult to find a perk.
-
I liked watching the animation of grabbing a Survivor go absurdly fast.
Now all I can use this perk for is Scream Challenges with Iron Maiden Doctor.
:(
-
No, Blocking shouldn't stop Matchmaking from pairing you against a certain Player.
Why? Went against a really good Nurse? Block and never worry about them again.
Didn't like that a Survivor kept you in chase long enough for 3 gens to be completed? Just Block em.
Any petty reason? Block.
Would be abused no matter what you say.
-
Solution: Don't buy the Rift if all you want is a lazy Recolor of a Yellow Cosmetic.
-
The point of the Rift is to be grindy so you're tempted to buy Auric Cells for Tiers.
And even if they did think about having a 5th level for Tomes then still no, extremely grindy or stupidly difficult/rare situation challenges suck.
-
@sulaiman said:
You think that challenge is toxic? Wait for the devour hope one...
Myers/Ghostface + Cypress Mori/Ivory Mori/Rancor
Worst Case you kept a Survivor off a Generator for 14 seconds with Devour Hope.
-
It helps alleviate Sprint Burst's downside of needing to walk if you don't want to use it up before being chased and Inner Strength is a pocket heal for when you do get injured but want to walk faster.
Just sucks it doesn't work while Injured, giving it the Urban Evasion treatment wouldn't make it anywhere close to Meta but it'd be better.
-
Feels like Mother's Dwelling and Crotus Prenn Asylum had a baby.
Then it rolled around it white paint.
Oh and the Yamaoka Estate babysat it.
-
This hasn't happened to me.
Killer Interactions, yes.
Progress not appearing for a second or two at the start of the match due to some funny latency, yes.
Phantom Skill Checks, yes.
This I have not experienced in any way, shape, or form.
-
Can't say Bugs eh?
Then i'll have to go broader with "Game Quality".
Fix one thing? 5 other things break and the orginal fix doesn't fully work because Spaghetti Code.
Frames? Congratulations they're gone because poor optimization.
Mechanics outdated/abusable/underwhelming? Don't worry they'll update them... eventually...
Settings or Accessibility options? nah those barely exist.
-
I personally prefer Doctor (totally no bias) as his power counters stealth for those pesky immersion situations.
Also laugh 10/10.
Pinball is neat though, something satisfying about bouncing off objects at 300 mph.
-
It'd make Franklin's Demise useless, you either dedicate a Perk slot to it every match and just hope Survivors brought enough Items or burnt enough Coins to make it worthwhile or you don't and you just hope Survivors didn't bring items or burnt Coins.
-
Run Kindred: the best Info Perk a Solo Player could want.
Found first? Loop the Killer as long as possible.
Hooked first and Facecamped? Stay on hook for as long as possible, Kindred is there to tell the other 3 to stay on Gens instead of wasting time with a fruitless rescue attempt. (Well unless you get potato teammates who decide it's a smart idea to crouch 10 feet away from you and do nothing, yell at them instead)
Someone else is Hooked and Facecamped? Hope they're smart enough to stay on the hook for as long as possible, Kindred tells you to stay on gens instead of wasting time going to check or attempt a fruitless rescue.
-
Something like Botany, Desperate Measures, Etc. to speed up the process of healing someone else.
Dead Hard, Resilience, Etc that benefits you for being Injured during the period of time after being Unhooked.
-
It needs a rework, it was a perk designed for countering Trapper when there was few Killers, Now that we have 21 Killers that's uh... a really unlikely chance even if every Killer was played evenly at every moment everywhere.
-
Lemme just paste this.
I always wanted Surge to more or less be the reverse Pop Goes The Weasel where instead of big regression on one Generator it instead applied a small regression on multiple Generators.
So something like:
• Remove the Basic Attack requirement.
• Reduce the Cooldown from 60/50/40 to 40/35/30 seconds.
• Change it from Generators within 32 meters of the downed Survivor to the closest 3 Generators of the downed Survivor that are able to be regressed. (doesn't work on currently regressing generators, completed generators, or blocked generators.)
So best case scenario 3 Generators get regressed for 8% (6.4 seconds) for a total of 24% (19.2 seconds).
But nah, keep Surge in its overly picky requirement state and i'll just keep running Pop for a guaranteed regression that is reliable.
-
I'd rather it be buffed to work with Stealth Killers in some way.
Got any Killer with Undetectable? Well guess you're SOL on getting tokens.
-
I bought a product, if I don't find it to be up to standard then I will complain about said issues in a reasonable manner.
DBD has been a game where making any small adjustment has a good chance to legitimately break 5 other things in the process.
Added a new sound for generators? Well unfortunately about every other sound is now prone to being broken, Killer interactions are bugged, Stun Times have a random chance to be halved, and Pig got nerfed again because Spaghetti Code.
And when they do fix something? Well probably waited for the next mid-chapter update and possibly didn't even fully fix it so it's still in there somewhere waiting to be found again.
Let's not forget Survivor Meta hasn't changed if at all and that a good chunk of perks are just bad or too situational to be useful. What's the current big issue? Well make a Perk that band-aid fixes it and not fix the actual underlying issue.
Oh yeah seen some discussion about adding proper settings and things like Color Blind modes... yeah... no real info on that apparently.
And finally maybe a chapter or two dedicated to focus on the game health and balance? Nah gotta pump out that next big DLC Bugfest every 3 months, Consoles are still dying apparently because refusal to tell people if they're even planning to optimize at this point.
"Well why do you keep playing then if you clearly hate the game?"
Do I hate the game? No, I love DBD for what it is but man does it need a legitimate proper Operation Health and apparently the Devs either don't care or are too stuck in their ways to actually do something about it.

Stalking from afar shouldn't have decreased rate. Ghostface doesn't suffer from this, so why should myers?
And i agree he needs a buff desperately. If i'm not wrong, he's the most outdated killer currently
Probably due to Myers' Exposed is global.
For example: you can stalk say a Dwight from afar and get to Tier 3 then just immediately turn around and stab a Meg in the face. (Also a Meg was standing behind you for some reason)
Now put Ghostface in the same situation and Dwight is personally Exposed and that random Meg is now Injured and took you out of Night Shroud.
TL;DR: I blame that one Survivor who decided to Tbag a Myers from the other side of a Window for me getting Tier 3'd even though I never got stalked.
-
Vigil needs a rework, buffing it does little.
Examples:
• Killer M1's me with Sloppy Butcher and applies Haemorrhage and Mangled, Vigil does nothing as it's permanently applied until I get healed.
• Killer M1's me with Third Seal and applies Blindness, Vigil does nothing as it's permanently applied until someone breaks the Hex Totem.
• Killer is Plague and vomits on me and I become Broken, Vigil does nothing as it's permanently applied until I go to one of her Babylonian Goddess Water Fountains™.
• Killer is Doctor and Static Blasts me until I have Madness 3, Vigil does nothing as it's permanently applied until I Snap Out Of It.
The only ways Vigil gets used is if you Purposely run an Exhaustion Perk or you just hope the Killer decided to bring one of the very few Add Ons that just so happen to apply a status with a timer. (and I ran into barely any that have)
Wake Up doesn't need to be swapped to Infinite meters, 128 is big enough to cover the entire map from any point like Empathy does.
It also doesn't need two aspects to be buffed when tiering up, either the Range stays fixed while the % is changed or vice versa, not both.

It's actually pretty easy to find totems in Midwich. It seemed difficult at first, but the glowing orange crackling sort of gives it away these days, no matter what they are hiding behind.
Or they just spawn between two school lockers in one of the hallways.
-
Maybe but probably not.
Giving the Killer 3 Offering Slots is overkill, I don't want to go into a match with the possibility the Killer can (or I myself could) slap on something along the lines of an Ebony Mori + Black Ward (with good Add ons) + Map Offering.
On the other hand Killer brings 3 Bloody Party Streamers for a possible 700% Bonus to everyone.
Also I could finally get rid of all these Clear Reagents I have on Killer that I never use because ew.
-
Self Care isn't bad.
The Blendette who ran to the furthest corner of the map to Self Care against a Sloppy Butcher Legion while another Survivor is currently hooked and another is being chased is bad.
-
Mother's Dwelling is still absurdly gigantic while i'm a Killer with little to no mobility.

I'm also trying to main nurse now. I love her so much. I am now wearing her gorgeous red dress and although I'm still below average, I have gotten some 4k matches with her.
I am in this stage where you either perfom very well or relive your first match ever playing as her.
Her power is so unique and versatile that you'd have to just play her to suit your play style.
What I noticed, the thing that really made it extra complicated and frustrating for me was always swinging for a hit every time I blinked, even when I was nowhere near a survivor.
I love her mori too, now I can caress all the steves, Dwights, that hunk whose name I keep forgetting, Felix, etc.
It is so refreshing not having to care about a wall or pallet and whatever. She is so good, the only thing survivors can do is run towards you.
You just have to keep going, eventually you'll be too good with her that survivors would stand no chance.
"that hunk whose name I keep forgetting"
Shirtless David will remember that.
