Overwhelming needs a rework. Any halfway decent Survivor will see the icon on their screen and stop using their item anyway. Buffing the % wouldn't make much of a difference.
Distressing already adds 8 meters to the standard 32m terror radius. If they buffed the numbers, I could see it being problematic with perks like Starstruck for example. Plus, on smaller maps like Midwich, the terror radius would cover the entire map. Wouldn't really be fair.
-
I like it. It would give them something to put where the ranks used to be. Right now all that space is wasted on pointless icons.

But don't worry, Survivors will also get fun challenges as well. Here's a look at a survivor master challenge from the same tome
- As a Survivor, Recover from the dying state 2 time(s) with the perk No Mither. Complete this challenge in a single minute.
Are you serious? Welp, I'm never getting that challenge done. Screw that perk.

I really wish survivors could see other's builds in lobby. This would save a lot of headaches.
As foe your suggestion though- power struggle could be buffed to highlight pallets yellow in a 10m radius where you go down. Hell I would run it just for that!
I imagine they'll never show perks in lobby because some players would use it to dodge lobbies. Oh, you're running a perk/build I don't like? Dodge. Queue times would rise for sure.

It's true. Content creators won't be able to do ridiculous stuff like 50+ win streaks or whatever when they're playing against actually good players. Of course most of them are against it.

That's exactly my point. There shouldn't be a tile that is "too good" or too much of a time waster. All it does is mean killers who are new get crushed into the ground if they go into it and survivors get it for free against good killers, so what is the point of it? Might as well just spawn the gen count at 4 and delete the gens at these pseudo infinites. It doesn't matter if it's an infinite or not if a chase against a good survivor here takes 40+ seconds then it's in essence a game throwing idea to go into it. On the inverse side there should be enough good/decent pallets though on the map that survivors have options to do things.
I agree actually. They should nerf the Saloon and buff the rest of the map to compensate. Right now there's way too many unsafe pallets and dead zones that you pretty much have to use the Saloon as Survivor.
-
I know people tend to hate indoor maps, but I would love a mall map. It's a classic horror location to me. Dead Rising and Dawn of the Dead are good examples.

The wall hack add-on is the only thing that needs to go.
I don't think it's just the wallhacks. The silent bell is super powerful, and I'd argue purple WIndstorm is still pretty strong. Moving at a constant 6.5 m/s is crazy good.
-
While I do think this change is unhealthy, the map as a whole is still quite Killer sided. You can just let the Survivors do the Saloon gen and then you never have to chase there anyway. It's incredibly easy to 3-gen on that map and avoid the Saloon almost entirely. Not to mention there are big dead zones and the pallet loops are practically useless.
-
"Unwanted games" are part of the game dude. You're gonna have bad matches, that's a fact. You can just miss the skill checks on purpose if you wanna die (it takes literally 10 seconds....)
Or better yet go play a different game if you're not gonna play the match out and screw your teammates.
-
Alchemist's Ring is broken imo. It basically removes Blight's counterplay. Imagine if Nurse didn't have to wait for her Blinks to recharge after a hit. It gives no time for the Survivor to gain distance, so if the Killer is good, you're going down in 10 seconds or less.

Provided you play It against decent people. The first "F*** you, just #########" comment that I ever saw made me disable comments entirely and I have no desire to turn it back on.
Lol that's fair, some people are toxic. But I've met a lot of cool people just by chatting. And the banter is genuinely hilarious sometimes.
-
1) The trailer generated a lot of hype, even if it was false advertising
2) Edgy
3) Easy cosplay
4) Cosmetics. Legion is the only Killer that can change their "character" through cosmetics. Makes them unique.
-
I turn it off when I feel like chatting with people. It's kinda lonely not being able to talk about the match.
-
By the way @Pulsar, thanks for including an "unsure" option because I genuinely don't know which direction the game should take. For all its flaws, I do love this game and don't want to see it die. All I can do is hope the devs make the right decisions (and complain on the forums in the meantime lol).
-
I'll be honest, I was pro-MMR for a long time, but I admit people have raised fair concerns. I probably wouldn't enjoy playing against high-level opponents forever just because I'm experienced. This is a game after all, and I don't want to have to go into sweat mode every time I log on.
Also their refusal to share any details about MMR whatsoever makes me anxious.
That being said, the current rank system and emblem system are in a poor state. A matchmaking overhaul of some kind is needed. I think we can all agree on that.
-
Certain perks are just good vs certain Killers, like Iron Will is strong vs Spirit, and Calm Spirit screws The Doctor, etc. Is what it is. Learn to play around it. Frankly, there are stronger perks the Survivor could be running if they're playing to win.
You won't catch a competent SWF running Spine Chill. Why? Because it's made useless by Discord anyway.
-
People already answered your question, but I'm gonna comment anyway because it's a travesty that these add-ons have been left in a useless state for so long. If they're not gonna adjust Legion's kit anymore, they could at least tweak the add-ons so they actually DO something.
-
I don't think it's impossible to beat, but it does require coordination. It reminds me of some Hag builds like Mint Rag + Make Your Choice. You absolutely need coordination to have a chance, so if you run into one of these builds in solo queue then you're screwed 95% of the time.
P.S. I don't even think these builds are OP. It's just that most Survivors are not smart enough to understand how to play against them.
-
I have the most fun going for Head On plays. Once in a blue moon I manage to save someone off the Killer's shoulder with it! It might be the best feeling in the game.
-
+1 for Kindred being base-kit for Survivors. Would go a long way to help counter tunneling and camping in solo queue.

I think it's to keep them in line with pallets, which are also the same regardless of the realm. They bear some resemblance to pallets as well, so I can understand this one.
This is probably the answer. Somewhere along they way they decided to keep the design uniform so people don't get confused. It also saves them time from having to design new breakable walls for each realm.
-
Considering most people will probably stack No Way Out with Remember Me, reverting the nerf would be overkill imo.
At max stacks, No Way Out is 60s, Remember Me is 16s, and regular gate opening time is 20s. That's already 96s. It really doesn't need to be longer. If they buffed Remember Me, they'd probably need to nerf No Way Out since they do similar things.
-
Jeff's corpse paint outfit. I love metal music, so it's cool to see them paying homage to it with a skin.
-
Most of them? BBQ is really just for points. If I'm sweating for the win, I'll usually take BBQ off. Perks like Discordance and Tinkerer tend to give more consistent information.
-
Yep. Some of his add-ons are straight up busted. Anyone saying otherwise haven't played against them. The only counter is to gen-rush, and that's incredibly boring.
-
Why? Pig is clearly A tier. /s

billy is much faster, but no one seems to complain about that
Because his ability to maneuver is severely hindered while sprinting. It also has a cooldown. Wraith has neither of these issues.
-
You have to admit his movement speed is quite bonkers.
-
Clown.
-
Yeah, saw tons of these comments on the Discord chat today. The "competitive" players have huge egos.
-
95% is a bit high. At the very least, stealth Killers do fine because it's an indoor map and Survivors can't see you coming. Small corridors mean trap Killers can cut off sections of the map. The gens are also quite hard to find. So far I've only escaped once from RPD.

True, but those addons have been confirmed to be nerfed to no longer work with each other in the near future. I also think they should un-buff the Iridescent Photocard because in its current state it is stupidly powerful and will no doubt be complained about next, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I don't like the new Trickster, primarily because being a console player the reduced knife count and increased laceration decay makes him next to unplayable for me, but from the 10~ matches I've had against him he's been the very opposite of uncounterable. Then again, I've been mindful to stay away from open areas and get out of low wall tiles quick - not looking forward to the inevitable game on Rotten Fields or Blood Lodge or something.
Wait, they're confirmed nerfing the add-ons? Where'd you hear that?
-
I go to Hawkins when I'm sweating for a win as Killer. It's free real estate, especially on stealth Killers.
-
Wow, it's been 8 months already? At this point I doubt they have a plan for keys at all lol.
-
There's plenty of posts complaining about Blight, especially using that build.
-
Yep, PC with no cross-play is where us tryhards are at.
-
Yeah they're pretty neat. I'll take anything that breaks up the monotony of skill checks at this point.

At least you can't immediately die on hook these days. I can usually make it to hook before they intentionally fail the skill checks. You're stuck in here with me >:D

The hatch is there to give the final survivor hope. The devs don't want a situation where the final survivor just has to give up. That's not engaging gameplay.
1 Survivor getting Hatch is fine. It's when 2-3 Survivors get a free escape with 1 gen left that's the issue. So many times I've managed to get a 3-gen going and suddenly they win for free.

DS isn't necessary if you run proactive perks like sprint burst or spine chill.
DS is for reactive play styles that tend to focus on smashing out gens with complete disregard to patrols, especially at the beginning of the trial.
Agree with you. I usually run Spine Chill and Kindred, and the information you get lets you make smart choices to avoid being tunneled in the first place. Most of the time, anyway.
-
Have to disagree with you guys. I haven't used DS since the nerf and I still escape most of the time. When I do get tunneled, smart Killers will slug me anyway. Just my experience, but when I do run DS, it often goes unused. I prefer perks that give consistent value every match instead.
-
It's actually quite fun running from an average Nurse that hasn't mastered blinking. Problem is a good Nurse is near impossible to escape. The chase is almost entirely in the Nurse's hands if they know what they're doing. We're just lucky most players don't put in the time to practice.
-
Hag. And thank goodness for that because she's miserable to Vs.
-
Enjoy your bloody skins :)
-
Spine Chill :) It lets me listen to music while I play without reducing awareness too much. It's also great for playing while intoxicated haha.
