Around $100. I've never bought cosmetics, only the game + DLC characters.
Given my playtime, that's a steal of a deal honestly. I've spent way more on much less.
-
Are there 3+ flashlights in lobby? Lightborn. If not, Franklin's.
-
That would reduce the grind, and we can't have that.
-
+1 for removing map offerings. In an ideal world, all maps would be balanced so offerings wouldn't matter. But given that the last 2 maps are some of the worst balanced in the game, the only realistic option is to make map choice 100% random.
-
Think of it like swinging at the end of Legion's Frenzy. Might as well get that bit of extra distance.
-
I miss that switch button so much :( That and being able to swap Killers in lobby.
-
Yeah it's definitely a dice roll of what kind of teammates you get. It's still my preferred way of playing just because SWF feels too easy. The game is really fun when you manage to get a competent squad in solo.
-
The person that DCs loses all their points, item, and offering. The way I see it, if they DC for Hatch, you've already won. Not a big deal.
-
I think a lot of Onis moved on to Blight after the buffs. He's just as mobile and he can use his power right at the start of the match.
Side note, I'm surprised Scalped Topknot still exists in its current state. It truly makes Demon Dash one of the best powers in the game.
-
I like the zombies personally. They could use a buff if anything.
-
Generally it's better to split up as Survivor, so having to stick together seems sub-optimal. I can see it working in SWF with Prove Thyself, but I'd never run it myself. Could use a buff to be better in solo queue.
-
I really want another perk slot, but the game is balanced around 4 each. Idk it's taken so long for the game to reach this point of balance. Adding another slot would be 1 step forward and 2 steps back imo.
-
I dropped Undying after the nerf. 1 extra life for my Hex isn't really worth the slot I think. Plus Hexes in general are too RNG due to totem spawns.
-
Killer is more popular during events because you get more points for less effort. Plus it's easier to get the crown cosmetics.
-
It's strong but too hit-or-miss in solo queue. I swear someone always gets the unhook before me. And if I prioritize saves then gens aren't getting done.
-
It's just the nature of time. After playing so much, you won't have as much fun as you once did, as with anything.
While I'm not happy with all the changes over the years, I'm willing to bet I'd be much more bored of DBD if it hadn't changed at all.
-
Been feeling apathy for months now. The last thing that got me excited was Hex: Undying because it actually shook up the meta.
Every update since the Blight chapter has been quite underwhelming for me.
-
Just bookmark it. No need to Google every time.

I enjoy using it on the last gen after 99'ing it. It's pretty funny to watch them kick it then pop it in their face then running away xD
That's so toxic xD I love it.
-
As a vet, I just miss the hard skill checks. I actually had to try when doing a gen. But new players couldn't handle it, so it had to be changed.
Maybe they could add occasional red skill checks as a base mechanic.
-
Discord is the best perk.
-
It's pretty much the theme of indoor maps. Excellent visuals, awful gameplay.
-
I'd rather they remove stepping in your own traps, but maybe that would be too much of a buff.
-
Even if 1 or 2 people happen to have Distortion, Lethal Pursuer still does its job. You can only chase 1 person at a time anyway. Knowing where all 4 Survivors start isn't really necessary. And like others said, I doubt either of these perks will be very popular.
-
As a solo player, sometimes popping the first gen can be a struggle if the Killer has Ruin or gets an early down or two.
-
Lethal Pursuer is a dead perk slot literally 7 seconds into the match, and finding people at the start is not difficult if you are experienced.
Hysteria only affects injured Survivors, and it's restricted to basic attacks only. Also, Oblivious isn't very useful vs. SWF or players with Spine Chill anyway.
Eruption can be good situationally, but takes too long to set up. You have to kick multiple gens, then get a down with a basic attack, then hope someone was on one of the gens you kicked (unless it's already repaired).. I just don't see why I'd use this over other regression perks. The numbers are too low.
-
It's redundant in SWF where you can relay info on comms. Any decent team will opt for BT, DS, UB, Adrenaline, etc. instead.
But yeah, if you're a solo player, it gives you a taste of the info you'd get in a SWF. Perks that help bridge the gap between solo and SWF are pretty good (i.e. Kindred).
-
I couldn't agree more, but I don't think this is a high priority for them. I mean, we've been waiting on devotion rewards for years. Maybe one day..
-
Deliverance + DS is why the last Survivor doesn't get to attempt to escape.
If you find yourself dying on 1st hook often, you should probably play more aggressively to take some aggro off your teammates. Your hook states are a resource to delay your team from dying, so if you often make it to endgame without being hooked, you've effectively sandbagged your team if you think about it. Everyone needs to take turns on the hook if you want to win.
-
Imo there have been more pressing issues to deal with. The Freddy, Huntress, Blight, and Wraith changes were all sorely needed. Keys still need work, MMR is still not finished, etc.
I know Deathslinger is annoying in chase, but you said yourself that he's not a top-tier Killer. If they nerfed his gun, he would need a strong secondary ability like Pyramid Head's cages to compete.
-
As a huge Scooby-Doo fan, I don't see it happening. No one ever actually died in Scooby-Doo (except the villains in Zombie Island I guess). Most of the villains were fake, and even the real monsters never got to kill anyone in the end.
I could see them adding cosmetic sets for the gang, but that's it. The show has always been for kids and they've never done anything so violent as DBD. It would be a huge change of pace for Scooby-Doo.
-
It reminds me of League of Legends actually. If you don't know, there's a popular game mode called URF (Ultra Rapid Fire) that comes around once in a blue moon. But the LoL developers released a statement saying they got a big increase in player count when URF was around (usually only for a few days or so), then when the game mode went away, they saw a big decrease in player count for an extended period because people had burned themselves out by playing the event.
To sum it up, the devs probably want a steady level of players, and events like Blood Hunts cause people to grind like crazy for a short period, then stop playing for awhile. Plus, once you've earned enough BP, there's nothing left to grind for, which gives less incentive for long-time players to play.
-
Solid analysis. It's definitely a "feel good" perk more than anything. I just can't find a reason to run it when so many better perks exist. It needs to give a bigger % bonus or have some secondary effect to compete with the meta.
-
I see Whispers as more of a quality of life perk than a strong one. Generally it's not too hard to find people imo, and once you've found a Survivor the perk doesn't really do anything. It doesn't help you in a chase or help you snowball.
Also, there's situations where the perk is lit up constantly and doesn't really tell me anything. For example, on a smaller map like The Game, or when the last few gens are in a small area, or when I have a Survivor on the hook and I'm trying to find someone nearby.
It's a great perk at the very start and very end of the match, but feels meh for most of mid-game. There are just stronger perks to use imo.
-
Just want to add that Kindred becomes redundant the more Survivors that have it. If one of my teammates also has Kindred, then they already get/give the info that my Kindred would get/give. Ideally you want like 2 people to have it because all 4 using it is too much overlap.
-
Have to agree, the new Iri add-ons are pretty terrible. Iri Head is worse than having no add-ons, and Solider's Puttee makes no sense since you never want to chase without hatchets.
I'm happy Iri Head got a nerf, but they chose a pretty boring way to do so.
-
I want a Pig add-on that lets her squeak on command. uwu
-
The only area where Spirit is better than Nurse is bugs lol. False blinks, 2nd blink not working, etc. Very frustrating to play Nurse imo.
-
I have always considered Demogorgon to be the definition of a balanced, mid-tier Killer. Jack of all trades, master of none.
-
I get that EGC isn't meant to give any advantage, but 99ing completely invalidates Blood Warden. You won't get it to proc 9/10 times because of this. They could at least adjust BW to make it a little more consistent.
-
This is definitely enough to make me want to buy Trickster now. Yeah Main Event is still pretty meh, but the move-speed buffs plus removing the spread are a HUGE deal.
-
I'm more surprised Xbox & PC don't have cross-progression, since Microsoft has been pushing to mix the two platforms with things like Game Pass.
-
I wanted to come back for this update, but between the Blight bugs, Wraith bugs, and pallet bugs, I don't think it's worth playing until they do some fixing. See you next chapter (maybe).

Mori wasn't a problem for me. I 'lobby dodge' when I saw one. Never been moried in years. Now I accept it
Lmao so entitled. Of course the type of Survivor player that closed out their game every time they saw a mori wants old DS back. Git gud.
-
A dev literally said it's an unintended mechanic, so..
-
No Way Out maxes at 42 seconds, by the way.
Also, getting Blood Warden to proc will be unlikely since you need the gate to be open already, which your other perks aim to prevent. They kinda contradict each other. Maybe swap it for something like Bitter Murmur so you can guarantee a down or two with NOED when the gens pop.
-
Hey, at least Trickster is just bad instead of straight up broken and unplayable like Twins were.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
It's pretty annoying that the knives aren't accurate. Makes it impossible to land long-range knives. You have to get pretty close to the Survivor to land your shots, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a ranged power..
-
Agree. Took me over 2000 hours to get all the perks I want on the characters I wanted to play. And that's without Prestige. It's absurd.
-
That would be a pretty big buff. It would basically guarantee a safe unhook every time. Unsure if that would be healthy.
