It is surprisingly useful if you manage to make it work, but that is already a huge achievement.

Well disagree. I've lost enough braincells reading sluzzys posts before.
Ignorance can be a blessing, but on this one you are missing out.

The good old Spirit-before-Spirit-existed build.
The best build among the best builds.

Yeah he is fun to play against as well. I still like to play against Freddy. His lullaby is bada**. I just wish he was more powerful and had a chase music. The basic one sucks
I like the regular chase music, tbh.

That looks scary to go up against lmao. Sounds Awesome
Oh, it sure was.
Mirror Myers but WAY better and more fun to play as and against.

Very unwise.
Its content is good and worth reading.

My all-time favorite build will always be the Spooky Freddy.
It doesn't work anymore. But back in the day this build was a blast, and I had tons of fun with it.

With how the hatch doesn't spawn until the third person dying and the whole EGC, it seems so killer sided now. I don't like it. Glad we both agree.
I honestly never did. Ever since that dreadful day this mechanic was introduced I hate it.
-
Beautiful.
-
Haven't enjoyed this damn game in a long time.
I know how it is.
-
That is... on point, actually.
Especially when you mention that EGC sucks. It is a pity that most people do not share that vision of ours.
-
SA servers here.
I would say they play mostly the same as every other region.
Mostly.
-
You have my attention.
-
A Freddy thread without me? What nonsense is this?
Anyway, the answer... is worse than it seems. I will cut to the chase: his add-ons suck. Massively.
Nancy's Masterpiece and RPB might be your only options, but it is not like you are going to feel a huge difference.

I feel like that’s easier with Freddy because it happens right after you start to put someone asleep (at least that’s what I think) while Spirit would have to have it at the start of a match.
After you phase for the first time then.
-
Or they could make it every 2 or 3 seconds and then you just memorize the timing.
That was the case with Freddy's glimpses. It could work with Spirit.
-
Scarecrow with a fear toxin that causes similar hallucinations to Doctor's Madness except that the illusory killer changes depending on which survivor you are playing.
That would be quite a sight.
-
Make a generally considered to be an annoying item more common doesn't sound like a good idea, to be honest.

Not actually, 2020 was probably best year of DbD (except Twins chapter).
Not in the slightest.
-
2016 is a bit too far, but adjust your lens to around August of 2018 and you will come across one of the best games to ever exist.
-
As much as it hurts me to read this...I understand.
I really, really do.
Your rest is more than deserved, my friend.
-
Don't worry, it will get worse.
It always gets worse with this game.

That we will, my friend. That we will :)

Aw, thank you. It’s nice to be remembered. I love you too <3
I also love:
@GoodBoyKaru - How can I not love a fellow aficionado of all things cute and fuzzy?
@OniWantsYourMacaroni - Your name always brings a smile to my face, just wish you were more active.
@TheGannMan- Fellow Claudette enthusiast. I know you have multiple wifus, but we both know Claudette is the Best even if you won’t admit it.
@Pulsar - Your posts are consistently constructive and have good reasoning behind them, unlike most others. Also, your Steve avatar makes me swoon.
@AngyKiller - how can I not like the anti-Sluzzy.
@MandyTalk - cute avatar pic and boundless patience doing the work she does and putting up with the many turds on the forum
@C3Tooth - Fantastic art always makes the forum worth visiting.
@Phasmamain - I find myself agreeing with a lot of your posts. Many times when I want to respond to someone, you’ve already said what needed to be said. Also, big booty Jane for the win (Still not a good as Claud tho).
@ThiccBudhha - I don’t know why but I feel like we’re kindred spirits even though we don’t interact with each other. I just like your posts.
@landromat - Your name makes me smile every time I see it, something I need to do more of.
@GeneralV - how can I not love you? We are fellow old farts with a passion for the past. May old Sir Fredrick be resurrected!
There are more but I’m away from my PC and am tired of typing on my phone.
And how can I not love you, my dear? Your comments are always a spark of hope in this hellish place <3
Thank you for your kindness, I really appreciate it.

Yeah the majority of the stuff I like. It's just the most important stuff for me either don't make sense or I just don't like. Like Nemesis since he was the most important part and I feel they got him wrong, I like to be more vocal about him since they ruined the main thing that means a lot to me.
"I like to be more vocal about him since they ruined the main thing that means a lot to me."
That I understand all too well.

I didn't say I didn't like the story. I asked why it was short. You were assuming I didn't like the story obviously. I've already told people many many times what I do like. I like the map, Leon, his RE4 outfit, the music, the story, the trailer, Chris' face, Jill's body for both outfits, Claire's body, the perks, the add-ons for Nemesis, and Nemesis' blighted skin. I've stated that I like some of these things like I said many times but I guess people just forget and focus only on the bad stuff or didn't see them.
Ah, I see.
It is better than nothing, I suppose.

It's time to move on. We'll find another killer who gets a total rework no one asked for.
Move on?
Never, my friend.
I will either convince the devs to bring him back, or die trying.

Maybe....doubt it though. With me having all killers P3 50 I use a randomizer to determine the killer im using. Still need to collect an assload of perks so I still use bloodpoint offerings. Never knowing what killer I'm going to be using switching all the time I doubt I'll ever feel that the map is not trash. I do like it as Survivor though.
Then...I am sorry, old friend.
There is nothing I can do to help you.

What was this about? I just asked a question. I don't see what your problem is.
It is because every time I see you, you are complaining about the RE Chapter. Be it here, Otz's Stream, and I assume other places as well.
I just wanted to know if there was something about it that you actually enjoyed.
@GoodBoyKaru said:

Yeah, he asked if there was something about the chapter you enjoy since you vocalise your complaints about it often and loudly. It's a public forum, and you have a reputation; I don't see the issue.
This.
Thanks, my friend.
-
Anyone that currently has the stomach to play Freddy deserves my respect, as well as people from the old days that played him.

Honestly idc what anyone says, the Leon and Jill model look very, very good - and for the limitations of DBD and doorways and all of that fun stuff, Nemesis looks good too. Flashbang and Blast Mine were also great perks and despite my seething contemptment for it RPD is visually stunning, especially compared to what other... Delightful map designs we have currently.
Well...it is better than nothing.

Nemesis voice line and that rare situation where you see how a survivor is about to get downed by a zombie.
Wonder if OP agrees.

@Tsulan said:

I don´t agree. He had a couple of issues. Which, if the devs would have fixed them, would have made him a great killer. But instead they went and did a whole rework, which was totally unnecessary.
They just had to get rid of him being unable to interact with awake survivors that were performing an action. This was his biggest problem.
That wasn't as bad as it became after the nerf, though I agree it should have been fixed from the start (which the Incapacitated status effect could easily fix).
So yeah, perfect with one minor issue.

Bruh.....I play everyday. Perhaps try the map now....perhaps on a killer without teleportation and lmk what you think. Good survivors make this map miserable and beating baby survivors on it means nothing....can do that on any map.
There is a difference between getting a map randomly and actively wanting to go there.
Perhaps if you wanted to play on it, the map would become better for you with each trial.

Sentiment and "used to be" does not change the fact that the maps are hot ######### garbage
Well, that is your opinion.

Freddy on-release (not the same "Old Freddy'' you've heard of) was easily the only killer in the game's history to ever reach a flawless state.

Naw my friend its the 2nd maybe 3rd most unbalanced map in the game. Tbf you probably think this because you have not played in some time mixed with the fact your main can teleport to gens. Feel free to correct me if you are back playing.
Nah, it is just that Springwood means a lot to me.
Its original version, back when there was just one, was and always will be my second-favorite map in the game, and I purposefully sent myself there many times (one of the reasons why my older characters do not have many Springwood offerings).
I am used to the advantages and disadvantages that map has to offer, and I don't think it is as insane as most people say it is.
At least it did not use to be that way.
-
Absolutely.
-
More than I could possibly write.
I first started playing DBD in December of 2018, roughly one or two weeks after Legion's release. During that period in time, the game was having one of its legendary Winter Solstices events.
The theme...By the Entity, the theme alone sent shivers down my spine:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wdcp8xl5WPQ&ab_channel=BlitzDuzmMy first match was on old Azarov's Resting Place, against a Huntress. I was a baby Claudette, way too terrified to even try to do something that would help my team. Luckily, everyone else in that match were newcomers, so it turned out fine.
I played a couple more survivor matches before switching to killer, where I met the one thing I loved most in Dead by Daylight...
Old Freddy.
Played my first match as him on old Torment Creek, and it is safe to say that one trial was what really made me fall in love not only with the killer experience, but also with Old DBD in general.
You have no idea the lengths I would go to bring that arguably perfect game back, or at least most of its features.
But for now...they are nothing but memories of a bloody good time, when DBD provided me with a level of enjoyment that no other ever could.
That no other game ever will.
-
Springwood is not as unbalanced as most people make it out to be, or at least it didn't use to be.
The key is the ALWAYS avoid committing to a Survivor that can clearly keep you busy for a long time, especially in the powerful buildings that this map has to offer.
As long as you manage your time properly, you should be mostly fine.

I know how it is.
I am tired of every word falling on deaf ears.
I am tired of seeing the same complaints. Reading the same narratives and lies again, and again, and again...
I am tired of slowly watching the game I once loved become something I despise.
I am just tired.
