I think that might be OP's original point. If they wanted it to be in the game, they would have added it already.
not my point I just wanted to see how many people think its cheating. I use one myself lol

Yes, it gives an unfair advantage. Its literally textbook cheating.

Since its not in the game but should be makes it not cheating? It should be an add-on but its not and until it is it will be cheating.
so is using headphones cheating?

Why do you think its cheating?

Because the Chatfilter is rubbish. Really, it is very bad. You can get around it, some stuff is not even censored, but normal words or names are. It just does not make any sense.

Step 1: Go to the main menu.
Step 2: Select "Play as Killer".
Step 3: Pick anyone but Blight, Huntress, Nurse and Slinger.
Step 4: Profit.

If not, is there any useful perk against it?
It feels like fighting a perpetual BBQ sometimes (with its differences).
Yeah obviously people with calm spirit should also be oblivious the entire game because if your heart is beating that loudly then you arent calm obviously

You're not invincible or invisible in the corn, killers can still hit you. Sounds to me like you went against a player that had an actual brain and a pair of eyes for once.
What are these "eyes" you speak of I have never heard of them.

SWF is a good thing. The power advantage it gives over Solo and Killers is not.

Well its impossible to prove so I doubt it.

I know it seems weird but the way the progress across the game is similar both have a weak start that builds up over time.
That sums up every killer though? All killers are at their weakest when the match first begins.
-
Nurse and trapper are simalar they both injure survivors

I bought the game last christmas and only played a bit.
I started playing the game more regularly last week again and got a better killer rank by now.
What I noticed since I got to rank 14 is that I get way more unconsistent matches. Some matches I am up against survivors with purple ranks and I still manage to get 2 kills (sometimes even 3 or 4 when they get greedy at the end). Then I sometimes have matches like in the pic, where everything is in but I don't get anyone since it feels that everyone plays like they are a pro-player (in this case especially the rank 15 player. He played like the rank 8 player).
Especially in this match it felt like they all played very coordinated and were on the same skill level (probably a group of 4 people).
Is this a normal matchmaking in this game?
I have seen much much worse lmao. One time I came back after a break and I had been reset to 15. I got 3 red rank lmao.

got lots of drama going on, apparently, between killer and surv mains...
some of you think the game is killer sided
some think its survivor sided
some just think both sides need work...
personally i think in general the game is survivor sided, the exception to this is with newer players, where killer usually has an easier time.
but what's everyone elses opinions? why do some of you think one side is heavily favored by devs over another?
why the drama? work together, make the game better for everyone, not just you, no?
its the nature of a PVP game especially an asymetrical one. People always love to blame the other side.

I’ve noticed this a few times since the mid chapter patch came out, but Surveillance has been acting weird af lately. I combine it with Ruin on Blight as it’s a very good perk combination.
For some reason, when a gen regresses all the way down to zero, the gen turns yellow even though there’s no one on it and it really throws me off thinking there’s a survivor over there. Is this bug or what? When a gen regresses to zero it’s supposed to go back to red so I’m pretty convinced it’s just a bug.
Yep had this happen to me on atrickster match it would randomly go yellow when it reached 0 makes the perk worse than useless since it gives false info I went to gens that reached 0 so many times that game.

Challenge done, my friend.
I decided to use a Midwich offering because it is my favourite map, hope you don't mind.
I managed to get 2 kills and 1 DC (technically 3 kills). Last guy found the hatch.
Here is the screenshot:
Ohh midwich I bet you could hear gens and injured people from literally anywhere on the map lol
EDIT: BTW were the IW at full volume?

Ooo.. sounds fun.
I'll provide both a survivor & killer build for those that prefer one side over the other.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Killer: Oni
Perks: Nurses Calling, Sloppy Butcher, 2 perks of your choice (I'd suggest Thana and gen defense)
Addons: Bloody Glove & Splintered Hull
Offering: Hawkins
Purpose: Similar to jumpscare Myers but.. more ferocious. Don't active your power & keep survivors injured at all costs to enjoy your sweet sweet wall hacks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Survivor: Dweet
Perks: Inner Strength, Spine Chill, Urban Evasion & Sprint Burst
Item: Rainbow Map (for totems)
Offering: Vigo's Shroud
Purpose: Poor little Dweet, scared out of his mind. He may be cute, but he's also a selfish prick that lives in lockers the entire match. Live up to your stereotype!
Is it bad that 3 of those are my normal perks...

Dwight with a christmas themed skin (optional)
Perks: Ace in the Hole, Apraissal, Plunderer's Instinct and Bond
Goal is to ensure that every survivor has a neat new item when they escape
Didnt go too well xD
for the build I want someone else to do
Killer: Freddy
Addons: Jump rope and outdoor rope.
Perks: Oppresion Stridor Surveilance and 1 of your choice
-
simple. its the same reason that we want shirtless felix and myers.
HORNY

Went...ok? 6 hooks and 4 stacks of BBQ. Was on Ormond and I slided of everything :') But I did get 2 sick rush attacks so I'm totally counting this as a personal win! The add ons kinda messed with my little muscle memory that I have with him. The Survivors were a bit mean tho, 2/10 you made Blight sad.
Now someone do my favourite Pig meme Build 😌 it does have many specifics tho!
Addons: Rule set 2 and Last Will
Perks: Coulrophobia, Sloppy Butcher, Thanatophobia and 1 of your choosing!
Offering: A Midwich map offering is needed! But if you prefer The Game for some reason that's good too.
I got like no perks on pig I guess I will wiat for the next person lol.

Because some rocks would allow you to climb over and deny a pallet and in some cases if the pallet was dropped, you could walk over it. Leaving the survivor with no chance. A certain YT with blue hair loved to abuse these.
Same thing applies to killer. Some rocks you could not climb as killer but you could as survivor.
A certain YT with blue hair loved to abuse these.

Yup we need these way more often.

So afk people? Yeah they are probably doing it for shards or just to depip as for some reason BHVR made AFKing the best way to earn shards.

I've been seeing Breakout in matches a lot recently, and twice now the survivor has wiggled free even when I picked them up 8m from a hook and only swung at survivors two or three times while using Iron Grasp and Agitation.
Is the perk unintentionally stacking? Is it stronger than it should be? Was it shadow-buffed?
----
My bigger question is: if ALL 3 of the survivors are in my face swarming me as I pick up the first survivor I downed within the first minute of the match, then WHO is doing gens?? How are 3 gens already done?
its the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th survivor doing gens smh

I recently started playing a lot of Meg, which I enjoy and have spent lots of money on cosmetics, but I don’t know if I want to main her.
I like playing unpopular characters and being “unique” but most survivors that aren’t played much are because they are ugly or have bad cosmetics.
- I want a survivor that is not on the super popular side
- Good cosmetics and a range of them
- not Jane or Quentin
who should I main
Bill and Laurie. You essentially get a 5th perk against stupid killer. Nobody ever slugs a Bill or tunnels a Laurie for some reason.
-
Agitation is not too strong but is still useful. It is fine right now and doest need a change.

You should ignore the Breakable Walls as Killer, breaking them is only bad for you. I also dont think that this Map is that bad for Killer, I am burning it for those "Break X Pallets/Gens/Walls"-Challenges, if I dont have a Hawkins-Offering.
IMO the safe Pallets exist because some Pallets are not useable, due to the Breakable Walls, because they result in Deadends, until the Gen is done or the wall is broken.
It certainly could do with some less safe Pallets AND the removal of all Breakable Walls (The Game is a very good example of a Map where Breakable Walls are absolute nonsense), but it is not like it is unplayable for Killer.
I haqve only ever seen that deadend like once per map but that might just be my experience

Well - English is not their native language - so maybe lay off the snarky comments. You may want to take English class again as you did not bother to capitalize "English." If you're going to belittle someone who is bilingual - you may want a firmer grasp on your native language. The word "English" is a proper noun - something most students learn about in 1st or 2nd grade; and is always capitalized.
hehehe I love when ######### get called out.

The number 1 sign a killer may have NOED is pay attention to how they perform. If a killer plays badly there is 50% chance they may have NOED. Because usually most NOED users know they are not that good with a particular killer so they may use NOED if they know they are not good playing killers. The second sign is pay attention to how sweaty they play. Around 20% of sweaty users tend to use NOED. This is based on my experience from what I have seen in NOED killer users. My tip would be to rule out what they perks they have, so if you can add up to 4 perks then NOED is ruled out. Also I have seen a lot of wraiths, and freedy's and doctors tend to use NOED. Now my suggestion would be to use detective's hunch, and eliminate all the totems if possible. I can't tell you this has helped me in past prevent a couple of NOED users from activating their ability.
Also pay attention to the kind of perks. If they are using a lot of teachables like corrupt, hexes, thrilling then it is likely they have a lot of perks for that killer. If they are using things like iron grasp and perks that belong ot their killer it is really likely they have NOED.
-
It would be nice but it took 4 years to get colorblind mode so....

I mean I use to say that as well since other than the achievement which I got way back no point in prestiging due to no real increase in better items and just bloody cosmetic. I am at a point now though that everyone has all perks so other than playing for more addons and offerings there isn’t much to be actually done until next chapter. I build up bloodpoints using the last of the increase in blood point offerings on that character and repeat until p3 so it’s just something to work towards.
Yeah rn for me I got all the teachables but I still havent gotten all the perks on all the killers so I want to get that done now.

Corrupt/Pop and Pop/Ruin are fine combos as it still leaves you with 2 other perks.
Once you start running 3 or 4 perks to do one thing especially when the perks don't have great synergy with each other is it questionable.
Ok ima be honest my nurse build is literal quad slowdown because I am that bad at her that I need games to last ages lmao. I use corrupt, ruin, pop, surge.
-
Personally none. But PH and myers look cool
-
@Crowman said:
The killer is dedicating 3 perks to slowing down gens and they don't even have that great synergy together. Pop can't be used while ruin is active and corrupt gets survivors moving from initial spawns so more likely to come across your ruin totem.
They are basically running 3 perks and after 2 minutes only effectively have 2 perks.
I use pop ruin like you use ruin undying. Ruin is the main thing but when ruin gets cleansed you still have pop.
-
It is useless but its free so its kinda common at low ranks. Only if you are going full basement with agitation too is it worth it.
-
Claudette looks great. Good luck finding her.
