Whats the point, go slug instead of wanting an easy alternative

I love how you try and make it seem like the killer is the victim while in that situation, completely leaving out the fact that with the pick up animation speed the killer can either get a free hit and turn around or a free down and turn around again. Great logic there , put you as an developer for a week the game would have an catastrophic downfall.twistedmonkey said:
Noob first got banned for hacking legacy and then got temp banned for exploiting a place on the map where the killer couldn't get too showing it on stream it's a completely different scenario.ForeheadSurviors said:This is an exploit ... Did you think about the counter before posting? Like DS dribbling they can be body blocked, the killer has to drop the survivor giving more time to wiggle out, chose to chase the survivor who has the flashlight by means of slugging the other one who can be saved or risk being flashed upon the next pick up.
All of the above gives the same result as a flash save the one being picked up does not go on the hook. -

have you never heard of tunnelling down the person who has a key strategyGardenia said:As it stands, that is the most broken item in this game. Giving Survivors the ability to escape way before the exit gates can be powered. Furthermore, it's an instant opening, there's not even a bar to fill the action. So they hop right in immediately, add to that if it's a swf with comms it's a nightmare. Please, I insist you do something so it can be more balanced in this game. Between the items and the speed of gens and the supposed perk that should stall gens but doesn't, killers barely have time to cross the map(because you usually spawn them across from the killer) before even 1-2 gens are popped.
At least add a second mandatory objective, something please! -

Gardenia said:As Killer it's infuriating when you use an ultra rare offering or add-on and then a swf comes along and they all dc upon the loading screen.
You should be able to keep your offerings or add-on when that happens.
Especially since as killer you don't even pip when that happens you merely safety pip with almost no gain in BP.
Please if you can, look into this.
The same can be said when the killer does it and I lose my offering, my purple flashlight and all my add ons when they pull the plug mid game or in loading screen, something should be done about both don't pretend like it's only impacting killers
With the difference that you keep your items as survivor and each survivor gets twice the BP the killer gets for 4 DCs

In the higher ranks, some people learned that ds can be not as annoying by running enduring, so that ds is less hard hitting and you can get back in action fast, ds really does not need a nerf or buff, and I play killer 75% of my games @ToxicFengM1n As I stated earlier in the comments, there are certain times that DS will rob killers of a well deserved kill, that’s the unfair part about it. I don’t mind getting stunned, it’s the fact that a kill I worked for just got a free escape. Especially, when they get too cocky and teabag at the exit gate and get downed just to DS out. It rewards bad survivors. If you’re going to give survivors a perk to escape
the killers grasp, at least have a downside to it like @I_am_Negan suggested. Make it an unnerving presence skill check or give them the broken/no mither status. If they decide to not do anything about it, that’s cool too because at the end of the day, it’s just a game. I like the idea of broken status effect when using the perk, forcing survivors to hold onto it @ToxicFengM1n yes! I know people are going to be pissed as hell when it gets nerfed, but I feel like it would really shed some light to try and get survivors to use other perks.
Community-wise also since the boosted ones always rely on it, I feel like it’ll help people play more efficiently and not too cocky. A good idea for you all in community to evaluate is DS can get nerfed in a good way, I am not being rude, but DS is in my opinion the hardest perk to nerf, its like freddy, one nerf can make it too weak, one buff can make it too strong, reworking DS would take too long, and the people who say remove ds, you guys have ran this perk before, dont lie about it, a good way to nerf it is making it give you broken for 120/100/80 seconds and reduced action speeds by 14/13/12% for the rest of the trial after use, the skill check could be smaller and the stun time can be reduced, but this can lead to survivors not liking it and I hate making perk ideas that are not the best I really like this idea. Tagging @not_Queen , even though I doubt she’ll see it heh. Damn, you really give up fast.
A injured survivor who's being chased anyway wouldn't have time to heal. So this uhh nerf is like trying to fight global warming by throwing ice cubes into the ocean.
The big aspect of this nerf would be that the survivor would suffer a reduced action speed for the rest of the trail. Maybe even increase it to 15% for all tiers. That would definitely be a nice nerf without making the perk useless.
Survivors would save DS for the last hook. Gates are powered at this point. Or it wouldn't matter anyway.
Still better than now though, where the DS just wastes an insane amount of time. Sometimes, if you do good enough as a killer, it won't ever get to the point of the exit gates being powered. And when only 2 or 3 survivors are alive, it's not that bad to get hit by DS.
At least my problem with DS is that it just wastes so much time for the killer, especially at the beginning. Of course, though, maybe there is a better way to nerf DS.
I'd honestly be happy if they just removed it until they found a way to nerf it properly.
4 DS could mean a complete loss for the killer.
It all depends on how good those survivors are.
For bad survivors it's just some extra time. For good survivors it's a extra life.
Read again.
DS users that tell others to git gud are hilarious btw. -
Ruin is rng with the skill checks , ive sometimes only gotten 1 skill check on a genGamzello said:Do you guys think hex: ruin is still worth it to use in your games? I've had games where they've either gotten destroyed immediately or actually have done something but either way sometimes people ignored the ruin and still did generators.
Hell I actually had 2-3 games actually where everyone gen rushed through hex ruin as if it was nothing so I find as if it's basically more pointless.
When the new patch of totem placements (for better placements) comes in I hope this will make hexes last a bit longer at least. Otherwise I might just use another hex or just another perk in general.

The fact you still think rank even matters just debunks your entire argument. Purple rank can still get matched with Red ranks and i don’t play full time on console but from my time playing there its easy compared to pc.Condorloco_26 said:@ToxicFengM1n said:
Rank 4 is red rank, so would that count towards the pain of rank 1 queue times
I think it depends on at which point of the season are you ranking up. If you do it right after rank reset, yes queue times are longer. Later in the season you get quicker full lobbies.

Majority of people who dont run DS is simply because they can’t hit the skill check its not because “ Oh im being toxic” Same people who use ebony mori and noed complain about DS because they hate that a perk can rival their own perks.ToxicFengM1n said:@PinkEricka said:

Solo players don't need more tools than they already have. With the myriad of perks in the game, one would think buffing the less popular perks would be better rather than buffing the perk that is already most picked.Solo survivor doesn't need more tools? They have no chance against an ideal killer (Billy, Hag and Spirit. The rest are weak or OP).
Play solo survivor and play SWF and see the difference, sunshine.
