What do you think about Exhaustion Add-ons?

I personally think they're a bit much. More specifically Solvent Jug and Berus Toxin.

I'm honestly surprised more people don't talk about these since the exhaustion nerfs a while back have made these super strong.

Berus Toxic is a COMMON hatchet add-on. Jug is Uncommon bottle add-on.

With these you can disable every exhaustion perk besides Sprint Burst and Adrenaline as soon as a chase begins. Especially with clowns which is just an AoE.

Venomous Concoction is alright since that's rare at least not a brown/yellow...

  • People don't talk about them because they aren't nearly as strong or as much a problem as you try to claim they are.

So a clown bottle that completely negates perks from being used in a match isn't super op and not a problem? Ok bud.

  • When it comes down to exhaustion add-ons. They can be considered a problem yes but they're not as strong and that is a problem as other add-ons. To some they might be considered problematic if their main job is to bother the killer endlessly and constantly getting the chases to waste the killers time and I have Perks that rely on exhaustion to do so. However these particular add-ons aren't that much of a threat here are usually playing it safe which most do

Yup, it isn't. Wanna know why? Because 1) good Survivors do not have to rely on Sprint Burst and 2) they'll use it before the bottle hits them.

You can't force a discussion, no matter how much you try. People don't discuss it, because it isn't a problem. That's it.

    And balanced landing? Dead hard?

You have to get hit before using dead hard. You're going to be hit by a hatchet/bottle before you can use it.

You can't say it isn't a problem when you clearly have no idea how they work.

You have to get hit before using dead hard. You're going to be hit by a hatchet/bottle before you can use it.

Balanced Landing still has the stagger reduction rate, that is often more than enough to keep the chase going depending on the Map.

Dead Hard? Sucks, but then again, Survivors can disable some of the Killer Perks, so why shouldn't it be the other way round?

  • Really don't see a problem with those addons. They're good, but definitely not too good. Just actually helpful.

most intelligent players would learn that you can dodge huntress hatchets and clowns bottles/smoke, and balanced is used pretty fast in the chase

  • Having add-ons that counter a perk is bad, but having perks that completely demolish a killers power is ok? Those add-ons seem pretty fair to me tbh

Well killers are much stronger so survivors need them more.

That doesn't make any sense at all. There are 4 survivors, only 1 killer.

ok in what way killers are stronger than survivors?

  • ..how often do you face a Clown in order to nag about exhaustion add-ons? He is the only one with a good one.

and again in what way because survivors can run a killer for 5 gens with no problem

  • Ok we can remove these. But then what counterplay do killers have against those exhaustion perks?
  • I have only two issues with that:
    1) that it's affecting dead hard. The requirement of Dead Hard to work is to be injured. Now, if huntress for example has this addon you will never be able to use your perk, your basically running 3 perks for this match
    2) clown bottles. They require nearly no skill to hit someone, the reward is to big compared to the required skill
