  • Trapper is mostly fine as is. They have reworked both wraith and trapper wraith is fine as well with his cloak lol you probably didn't play when uncloaking took 3 seconds and placing a trap took 3-4 without add-ons. They aren't a massive company and are busy trying to fix other things. Comparing them to blizzard is like comparing a chihuahua to a wolf.

You think your frame rate drops are bad... lol

    *laughs in xbox player*

considering the game was ported over to consoles and was originally a PC only game don't be surprised. The game has issues on pc still and i can't imagine how bad they are on console.

That said, I still believe they need to fix tier 4 of the rift because it's frankly disgusting.

They SHOULD have next patch before the pass ends to correct it at the very least

They have stated multiple times the tier 4 challenges are placeholders and are subject to change and more than likely will. As for the "grind" i don't really find it awful as you're not forced to buy the pass at all. You can literally buy it the day before it disappears if you want. Also i think they said somewhere that you should get around 350 fragments from the rift challenges if you complete them all.

  • The unfun killers for me would be legion and doctor. Doctor because i just don't enjoy madness/screaming/skillchecks in the corner of my screen, also the snapping out of it. Legion because mending is very annoying still.

  • The only buff i'd suggest for solo would be basekit kindred. Just because you're solo it doesn't take away your skill at the game.

I think those item are cool to have in the game but totally toxic, imo they should have more conditions to them

So, i'm going to tell you how i feel on mori's. I think the condition required to be met is perfectly fine. One hook = kill. Unlike before where it was you down them they're dead. The problem with mori's is how people play when they are used, and not the mori itself. People who burn mori's typically will down someone, hook them, area camp them, and tunnel them just to mori them.

  • i think the easy fix would be just to have dailies give 1-2 rift fragments. The exp required would be absolutely fine for the casual player then. I also don't like how long the archive challenges are taking to release as i finished the 1st tier in around 5 hours game time. One thing i would want changed about challenges is less hook save challenges, and maybe more challenges requiring perk use. I don't enjoy being farmed from a hook with borrowed time and chased down, and i'm sure others don't like it either.

  • Ranks don't really matter too much, they reset every month. The only people who can track how many people are at each rank are the devs.

  • the wait times are like this because of the bloodhunt. killer is just easier to get bps on than survivor and the reason your getting people with dstrike so much is because you're literally waiting for anyone in the game to be open to play.

  • i've not had too bad of an experience with them. I've not seen the power reset happen in a few weeks and i don't find nurse too fun since the update but i've only played her twice. Dedicated servers aren't too awful as everyone is making them seem.

  • too many totems would cause problems.

  • Well what are you expecting during a bloodhunt? Killer is the best way to farm points during it and if there are not enough survivors for all the killers so you gotta wait.

  • For specific reason aside from you're pissed off in game is fine. Constant d/cing is the issue and they are testing things to counter it currently.

  • I have had it happen a few times the day of the patch but nothing since then.

  • my preference would be harder challenges more bps. i wouldn't mind having a fragment or 2 thrown onto them to make them more appealing.

  • That would depend on your platform. As dedicated servers are out on switch and pc. If you're on ps4 or xbox then it could just be the killer had a high ping.

  • i feel like the more scary thing is some of those survivor challenges.

  • The reason people complain about her is because they probably see her like 20 times in a row. I've even started getting annoyed, not with her power just having to play against her every single game. I personally think she is fine for the most part aside from a few add-ons being a bit too overpowered.

  • I don't know if you can even call it an event as you just get the offering to get an extra 2k per gen/hook. Kind of a let down as the hooks and gens don't even do anything when done or when someone is hooked. I feel like the bloodhunt is more of an event than the event.

  • On PC it's taking me 5-10 mins for a killer match. Bloodhunts make people want to play killers because if you have a 100% blood point offering you can essentially get well over 100k bp in a single game with minimal effort because killer bloodpoint gains are ridiculous.

  • easy crows on badham maps where the flock around the tables and such in groups of 3 on the outside of the map. Makes that challenge super easy. The only real kinda toxic thing is running borrowed time and hook saving people for my unhooks.

I would prefer if they were challenges that took so many games to complete over challenges that need to be completed in one game and make you wanna #########

for example repair 20 gens heal 25 survivors or using a specific perk are much better than those we have at tome 4

i would prefer the "master" challenges to take a few games instead of doing whatever in a single game.

Thats incorrect a killer can simply look down to avoid the blind its literally impossible towards high ranks as killers know they can just look down to avoid the beam.

blind them during the pickup at the right time and they have no way to react.

  • Blind the killer while carrying a survivor isn't exactly hard to do. the others well good luck. From my experience with the challenges the killer ones tend to be easier while the survivor ones can get extremely annoying as people are trying to do the same thing and fighting for the unhooks.

  • That is mostly false. While SWF does give you an advantage with comms it doesn't give you skill. Someone who is good at the game will give you a hard time regardless of swf. Simply saying SWF gives godlike skills is an exaggeration. It doesn't make you good it just gives you some knowledge. If you are getting destroyed by survivors without 2 kills or more you are doing something wrong on your end.

  • I highly doubt mori's will be nerfed as they we're nerfed previously. They require the survivor to be hooked first, with the exception of the cypress mori which is the last survivor can be killed regardless.

The problem with mori's isn't that they take away a hook from survivors but the fact that killers camp/tunnel said survivors to mori.

I think killer Rank for match making should be a combination of an overall killer Rank and each specific killer.

BHVR has said they don't think each killer should be balanced and even. If that's the case then it forces high ranking killers to play the same killer each time. It's no fun switching from a high tier killer at high ranks to a lot tier one and getting stomped.

If it was a combination of factors, then when a high rank player switches to clown, they get matched with lower rank survivors until they rank up their clown game, which let's be honest, may mean they stay solidly mid rank when playing clown.

The unfortunate side effect with this would be potentially longer queue times for high rank survivors, but maybe we would see more variety in killers played.

Just a thought. I feel like right now if I want to rank up (for good knows any honestly) as killer, I can't switch to lower tier ones for a little variety, because they just cause me to depip.

so you're basically saying to have a fresh rank 20 killer ready at any given moment to bully less skilled players? Would you be okay with each different survivor having a different rank?

wait what? you dont even have to work on an event gen to get the points? i feel like im understanding this wrong because that makes zero sense to me.

It's always been that way during events like this. It's only bloodpoints and how are you to be expected to work on a solo gen if theres someone on it? i'm pretty sure killers get over 1k more points per hook as well.

  • you have to wait for the archives to be fixed as the way to earn the serum is on the rift pass free track. So basically you can not earn them right now.

  • Well considering the archives/rift are disabled currently you can not get serums right now so only bloodpoints right now.

  • Nightmare edition, from what i have read will not include all the dlcs but will include: Curtain call, Shattered bloodline, Stranger things, Of flesh and mud, and The spark of madness chapters, Along with The 80s Suitcase and The Bloodstained Sack cosmetic dlc.

So no licensed stuff there aside from stranger things.

  • was he using an addon to stay tier 3 the whole time? he's not broken on dedicated servers the only thing is the sounds for tiering up act wonky sometimes from what i've seen.

  • I think they're implementing something once dedicated servers are out so you keep addons/items/offerings if the match ends within a few minutes of starting. I know they're doing it for survivors if killers d/c anyway.

  • Depends on the person. Ghostface is annoying with the ability to insta down but he does have to stalk to get it.

I'd disagree with the him being more annoying than legion as legion is just a constant mend fest unless their trying to kill you.

  • My thought on WGLF is they should combine it with We'll make it, or give it more ways to get stacks maybe objective related.

Points are VERY hard to make it so everyone gets some for survivor without breaking the 8k cap on the different ones. They could remove the cap on the different areas you can gain bloodpoints from but have a total cap at 32k but then people running prove thyself and doing gens with others would get 20-25k points for just doing a few gens. While running the killer around would also fetch you a ton.

  • Mori's i feel aren't as bad as they used to be as being downed before being hooked you could get moried. now it's you have to have hooked someone unless you use the yellow mori where you can mori the last person. The problem is is when people camp and tunnel the hooked people just to mori them.

Well as the devs said, things come up and they can't expect game breaking bugs to arise. Im sure the update/event would have been just fine together if the bugs hadn't risen.

No i understand that completely. It's just they knew it was a big update so it might have been safer to separate the event from midchapter to prevent or lower the chance of these problems.

  • @YamiTheFurry said:

Its a free event and update my guy. We don't need compensation for an update that was delayed because they don't even have to have an event. It comes out tomorrow also before Halloween so thats a plus.

So while i do agree it is free and stuff comes up. The problem is they set a day and the whole thing could have been avoided making the event it's own update then having the engine/midchapter update later. They kind of screwed a lot of people that had requested time off of work or such by saying they're delaying it a day before release. My personal feelings were i was super hyped about the event and archives stuff for weeks and was waiting for the release date only to see it was delayed. The hype for it has kinda died down a lot for me now but i'll still play it and have fun.

  • So i don't think the hitbox is different but the size difference makes the females have an advantage at hiding typically from what i've seen in game.

  • there are 2 types of protection hits in game currently. Both require another survivor to be injured. To get the one for stacks on wglf and MoM you need to be close to the injured survivor (200 point protection). The other is if the injured survivor is farther away/in a chase still and you basically are being a distraction (100 point protection). Basically think of the protection needed is you're taking the hit for them. You can also get protection hit points while you're injured as long as the other person is injured as well.

  • in-game report system is your best bet. Unless you wanna go the extra mile and send video proof of the bot to kinda speed up the process.

  • but have you met hag? She can basically camp and run around because traps.

Well then how do you explain the recent debuff of the Nurse? Survivors whined about ti so much devs finally did something about it, we'll see a Nerf for Spirit here pretty soon mark my words. They don't want to piss off the Survivors because the Survivors is the main player base of this game. Piss off the survivors lose half the base of your game.

Nurse is extremely strong and the "nerf" won't really change her all that much. It will allow you to be able to actually use add-ons for once. Aside from that spirit probably isn't their priority killer to balance. Also if you're losing games constantly without getting any kills you're either not playing as efficiently or the survivors are extremely skilled at looping. Also like people have said killers used to get looped by survivors in the infamous infinite loops. Those were fun times.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

yes and also when the exit gates are powered let go of the chainsaw the survivors will instantly run to save the hooked survivor little did they know all you need to do is tap m1 to give them a love tap with noed hehehe

I read what you said wrong and it reminded me of the time of a free weekend when a match had just started. I heard a leatherface charge his chainsaw, then instantly teleport around behind every survivor downing all 4 instantaneously.

  • Oh sorry lol. I would like darker maps maybe more eerie sounds added in. Killers making sounds like cackling laughter as they hit you or something. As for cosmetics maybe like either creepy weapons or just down right gruesome things like sharpened bones or like you said childrens toys. I think different audio the killers make could contribute a lot to making things creepy/scary. Like i said demogorgon noises across the map are unnerving.

  • She is pretty great if played right. Her point gains in deviousness are kind of lacking though unless you use the fountains. I find her fun to play as a killer but not for point farming. Her downsides are that she gives survivors an quick heal if they're sick. Oh and her puking is kinda gross to some people.

  • I am feeling disappointed a little bit as i was expecting to be playing the event/archives stuff. I am in no way angry with them but i do understand the frustration of people who scheduled time off work and such to go hard for the event.
