I personally find nurse should be lower.
Always found her difficulty overrated, once you get the hang of blinks you're good to go.
The hardest part is learning to work around her bugs
Shhhh, the Nurse worshippers rely on this phenomenon to feel better about the fact that they've essentially unlocked easy mode after some grinding!
I agree, Nurse would be the lowest S tier, but still tough. Blight would be higher, as well as Billy. I disagree with Huntress being S, but rather high A. Plague would be lower A, and Oni B.

As sad as it is you have to play many games and the killer you get matched with also must have played many games since the SBMM was added to have been placed appropriately. You just have to power through and eventually the system will work as intended.
Only in this game do you have to endure god awful ######### to actually have fun. Enjoy your TTV's abusing MMR as an excuse to play like ######### and teammates that leave you to die despite Kindred with Open-handed.

Who do you consider A tier?🙂
Pyramid Head, Twins, Hag, Huntress, Deathslinger, potentially Oni (the start is so painful). MAYBE Trickster, as I think he's very underrated but that's my nobody opinion.
-
Probably have more fun as survivor. Not care so much as killer. I'm actually good at the game with simple A-tiers so I can only look down at the S-tier dependent plebs.
-
Stridor was never the issue, it just carried the usual pepegas that mained Freddy before his nerf. You can still hear footsteps despite Iron Will so there really is no reason to run it if you're skilled at listening and predicting (to a degree).
Good Spirits have no counter, let's be real, people need to stop with this meme that she's fine and just admit they want easy wins. Most people play DBD because it's kind of easy. No shame in it.
The funny thing is, actual Spirit Mains that aren't comp psychos are usually completely fine with the notion of her being tweaked to be more of an A rank killer like Huntress, Pyramid Head, Deathslinger (ugh) or Oni. People that actually play her for fun and the skill aspect rather than easy wins tend to prefer her not being bitched about and actually be fun for everyone. But there are those that just want to stomp. Because they fear survivors that are collectively better than them.
-
It's too strong at the right hands ( and if they're not console), I agree. Sprint Burst can at least be cut off. You can't do anything with a survivor with DH that has a planned routing. You're going to eat it.

The cyberpunk treatment is reserved for AAA studios (that aren't Ubisoft, ActBliz, or EA), becuase they make the best punching bags due to high-profile games and limited legal funds. DbD will never get that particular shot in the arm.
Yeah and it was playable for me. Probably not consoles, which sucks, but I'm on PC. Now this bug affected every system. RE chapter was a shitshow but most in recent memory were. But not to this extent.

Killer tried to ######### on you. Instead you ######### on them. Sounds like karma. Especially when they're unironically saying 'Gen rush' while tunnelling someone. The reverse also happens with toxic survivor getting schooled. I'd hardly call getting back at them toxic, nor was the huntress toxic beyond the endgame chat.

Wouldn't Brutal or Ruthless require them to have an adequate number of hooks and other scoring events throughout the game?
No, because if they're being fed downs, they'll get more hooks. It's not uncommon for these killers to tunnel/camp someone out of the game too, making a snowball very likely with NOED. Note that this is as solo survivor where Pepega results are expected (from both sides). Usually it'll end up with Brutal killer, which still secures their rank, but the strategy I just mentioned is applicable by any moron with a controller/keyboard and can be reliably applied.
These killers also have sweaty builds that drag the games long enough to get a few hooks and many 'chases' in, which help the score and make gatekeeper gain in value since the game lasts longer via slowdown.

How would NOED keep 'bad' killers in the red ranks if they are playing poorly throughout the entirety of the trial?
Instead of getting entity displeased against the team of Pepega solos they can't keep up with, because they're not in the right rank, they instead get Brutal Killer or even Ruthless if they managed to score a kill or more. It's not uncommon for uncoordinated and silly solos to feed kills to a NOED killer. They'll still sometimes depip if they perform particularly badly, but most of them manage to get just enough in to secure a black pip. Which is all they need in a meta full of ruin/undying/tinkerer or any other heavy build combined with NOED.
Make no mistake, the vast majority of killers I face that have NOED I can call it. They tend to have a similar playstyle which is often devoid of game sense. The times I'm wrong are usually 1 or 2 perk Andies that are learning a killer.
-
- Semi-Frequently, depends on the hours and nationality (yeah, some regions have more toxic gaming cultures than others). I would say 1 every 5 games as it keeps bad killers in the ranks that satisfy their egos (red lol).
- Not too often, mostly because I won't feed a killer dumb enough to run it outside of some gimmick build I noticed. I'm rarely the first hit.
- If I'm running a build for it, yeah. Otherwise? No, it's a waste of time in solo queue, and time is precious when your idiot colleagues might fall to an equally stupid killer. If I don't run a map or small game, I can't keep track of what's been done and I won't comb through god awful map design to find them. Nor can I rely on my teammates to do the same.
EDIT: I also don't cleanse because I make mental notes of where some totems are in case the NOED happens. I will say there is nothing more amusing than breaking a dumb killer's NOED and just remind them why they need it so much before I say goodbye at the exit gate.
-
They're around the same level as Hag. So you might see them in higher MMR but not at the top. It'll probably be dedicated mains in this case, and they're notoriously powerful. Or, some people will want to try them out so they may actually be very popular in bottom MMR since most individuals don't bother with them, but with the MMR incentive they might for easy BP.
Otherwise they're insanely oppressive to non-swf's, and people hate to play them for some reason. I personally find Victor fun and the strategic aspects of the killer interesting as the player. For survivors it just sucks if you can't communicate.
-
Imagine expecting 90% of solo teams to do totems when they let most people get to second stage and are allergic to gens.
Imagine a killer sucking so much against this sort of team that they get value out of NOED anyway.
Imagine SWF almost never having issues with this so ultimately this is just a tool to make solo queue even more miserable. But since we're whining about 'mains', bad killer 'mains' are simply too unsympathetic to understand this.
Screw NOED, probably one of the biggest reasons why matchmaking is so screwy. Bad killers carried against solo teams they somehow struggle against when they shouldn't getting value off that dumb perk.
-
Every killer that talks about gen speeds and gen-rush tend to have very skewed views of how the game should be played and demonstrate minimal game sense compared to actually decent killers.
Tunnelling, camping and slugging are not equitable to 'Gen Rush' as described by some being the use of certain generator perks and items by a team to make quick work of generators. A better comparison is Killers bringing the best Gen defense perks and strongest addons to make sure they keep an oppressive grip over the objective. The funny thing is, these 'Gen Rushers' became far, far rarer than the insecure killer stacking slowdown against solos because they're afraid of getting a team far superior to their skillset.
Tunnelling, camping and slugging however are comparable to certain behaviours that teams exhibit. Letting someone get to second stage just to do gens for instance. BUT, one must consider that this may be the fruit of a lack of communication rather than actual gen-rush. Which happens a lot if Kindred isn't around and the team is a bit Pepega. To be honest, I've almost NEVER encountered such a sweaty team that opted for this approach (although I've faced a few sweats, but they had a different angle than Gen smashing even if they also went fast). I genuinely think most 'Gen Rush' scenarios are just the killer sucking ass, or ...
Gen Rush is misused to describe a different problem. Let's forego the bad game sense from the killer for a moment, even if that's a massive factor, and realize what's needed to counter gen-rush. It's not perks, even if they help, but rather the killer using their pressure correctly. How is it possible to pressure certain maps like Mother's Dwelling, Temple or even Ormond with a non-mobile killer? The answer is it's not if the team isn't silly. Now let's factor in a second element that is out of the killer's control if offerings are not considered: Spawning. A team spread out will feel oppressive and give the feeling the killer is being 'rushed'. In truth by the time they get something done, each team member has had time to individually work on a generator far, far away in the fat map and boom. This isn't Gen-rush, this is the fruit of God-awful design. And Killers who don't realize this are guaranteed low on the game sense chart. This became far more obvious when I ran lethal pursuer.
In short: There is only one form of actual Gen-rush. Bringing the sweatiest build and prioritizing gens over anything else. The latter is very rare and often the fruit of a lack of communication, as even sweaty teams coordinate to save at the last second without actually doing a 'Gens before frens' scenario. 9/10 times it's just bad coordination, but it looks like gen-rush. Dying to complete a gen is not gen-rush either, it's common-sense if it's the last gen or a gen within a potential 3 Gen. The killer is just bad for letting it happen. Or the survivor is stupid to die for some random generator.
Also, to those who say killing is the killer's objective: Have you even read some of the lore of this game and taken notice of what actually rewards you? Getting a 4K isn't enough, it's how you get it. Your goal is to prolong the game and torment the survivors. If your only goal is to kill then I genuinely think you're simply not good enough to get at least multiple hooks consistently against the average team. Survivors only have Generators to work with, the rest is just pointless distractions that are honestly not even worth it unless there's a hex in play.
-
Or get better at the game and adapt to situations rather than throwing a temper tantrum over some asymmetrical, casual game you should seek only fun in. If you're getting sweatlords then just meme about it or take a break. They're ultimately lesser than those that don't take this game seriously. Because those that take winning seriously and at heart in this game tend to be very much lacking in something.
Strive to have fun. Don't be petty. Sweating to win is only fun until bigger fish ######### on you anyway. Which they will. You'll just end up making baby solos miserable and the toxic will still be fed.
-
Twins are one of these killers that definitely don't need slowdown to be consistent at red ranks, even against sweatier teams. They will likely lose against the top stuff but every killer will barring the top three with as much sweat delivered by the player. I do not understand how anyone can call them weak. Like, it just does not compute with me when their power denies loops and is basically impossible to avoid when used by a decent player. Added to that, the snowball potential is obscene and Oni-level with enough chaos.
They are, however, very much like Hag when it comes to solo. Not in the camping department, but rather in the 'without coordination they can't be stopped' department. Should solo queue get buffed, these guys would be less hated. Well, no, Hag would still be despised but Twins wouldn't have as many issues as survivors would be more strategic thanks to more tools being given to them.
They don't need a rework, solo queue does. SWF has the tools necessary to avoid the super slugging. Whether they find Twins 'boring' or not is irrelevant, half the cast is consistently boring to most people.
-
For killers that want to feel the illusion of being good without having to be. The build carries most decent killers (characters, no players) pretty hard. The build on some shittier killers isn't as bad.
And yeah, I'm downright saying it, you shouldn't need much if at any slowdown if you're actually above average at killer. That said it IS helpful to have some against the sweatiest survivors. But even then, you have many other tools at your disposal to deal with them.

I guess if you put it in the way that they’re level of difficulty to pick up can be fairly low but still, there’s so many advanced things that will require the player to learn to become a master at. It seems like we’re both talking about different things as mastering and picking up are two completely different things.
With Nurse, she’s the hardest killer to pick up and up there to be the hardest to master. With Hag imo, she’s hard to pick up because of how different she plays from every other killer but after learning how her traps work and having map knowledge to set a good web takes barely any time to master once you do pick her up.
I think we've come to an understanding, though I firmly disagree Nurse is the hardest to master. She plays the most different but I think she is easier to 'get good at' than Blight or even Billy. Although to get decent at she is indeed the hardest as she can't even be used as an M1 killer. Hag you can literally camp and win most solo games, so a hard disagree on entry-level difficulty, but I also agree that her skill ceiling is up there with the big guys.
The reason why I kind of insisted on the 'picking up' notion is because most of the people you see in public matches using these killers with strong builds are not doing it to master the killer. They're doing it because it's an easy win with the right set of perks and the stuff I've mentioned. Which is a shame, Blight is amazingly fun to face and a great killer, but is easily used for lazy purposes. Oh well, rather that than Spirits with the same build tbh.

Only using Blight’s power for mobility is easy but you’re underestimating how much skill it takes to use it to down someone. It’s all about map knowledge, planning ahead on which objects to hit, understanding which objects you can or can’t collide off of, and even understanding how to hit the survivor with your power. If you don’t have the practice to do that, you’re just an M1 killer which as we know is a reason why Pig and Legion are so weak. Yes with Ruin Undying Tinkerer Pop, that’s a very oppressive build and anyone can win with it but even then, survivors have Dead Hard, Decisive Strike, Unbreakable and a few other perks that can be oppressive to go against.
As for Huntress, it’s not as simple as throwing a hatchet. You still have to aim, predict what survivors are going to do, and understand when to lift a hatchet and when to M1. It’s all very depth so I don’t exactly agree that she’s super easy to pick up.
I personally think there is quite a bit of overestimation of how much skill is really needed to play these killers somewhat competently. Or rather the line between 'being good' and 'being decent' isn't as clear. NONE of these killers are hard to just pick up in my opinion, though Blight is frustrating on some maps, even with map knowledge as you can see is a problem even among the best Blights as they end up sliding randomly when they shouldn't.
I never felt like they were difficult to use and I am very much in EU red ranks (if region means anything). But then again, nothing in DBD is actually difficult for me. Perhaps my standard may be a bit skewed. Still, with little practice I've been comfortable using 0 slowdown on Blight. I'm sorry but apart from timing your hits he just doesn't feel that difficult. Harder than Nurse, sure, but she's a bit overrated (to learn) in my honest opinion.
Ultimately it comes down to experience and how one sees difficulty. Given how popular Blight is among the masses, I feel like my perspective's been re-enforced, but it could just be the cheese builds doing all the work.

Ok fine. He’s still got an insanely high skill ceiling and the people that can 4k the majority of their matches have put in the time and effort and/or use Ruin Undying Tinkerer Pop every game. It’s just not true that Blight is easy to win with right away because he’s very depth and also still has collision issues.
He does have an insanely high skill ceiling. But so does Huntress. Huntress is, and I mean no disrespect to the mains, very easy to pick up and use. You'll take a few matches to get used to but otherwise it's just 'Hold and throw, hold longer to throw harder' and that's all you need to win in most games, even red ranks. Of course cross maps and learning curve angles is pretty skilful is COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY to win games. I've adept her with no issue without ever truly investing much time into her.
This is the same with Blight. You won't be doing crazy flicks, or be using super angle mind games or even mega brain speedy outplays. You don't need to. You just need to know how to pressure a whole map and hit someone out-positioned while you're rushing. Like huntress, he isn't that hard TO USE after a few games. He is VERY HARD to master. Especially with how ######### maps are.
Also, you've said it, the Ruin Undying Pop madness is what's boosting all these Blights for the most part. Which is what I'm saying. You can suck with Blight, but the moment you can use his mobility to mild usage, you can oppress even decent teams with this build.
I think we agree here, just that we aren't seeing the skill curve the same with with Blight, which is fine, experiences are different.

Yeah Blight is very easy to win with. That’s why he has one of the lowest kill rates.
May I have the statistics you're referring to? When were they?
Because the only ones I find are a month and a half after his release. Not only was he new, but he also had the FOV of Victor which made him massively unappealing to play. People didn't know how to play him and he was overall uncomfortable. Now the FOV is normal and plenty of streamers have picked him up. Besides, I never felt like he was difficult to 4k with beyond his map dependency. His unique tricks however are difficult.
So if you have better statistics, please share. If you're referring to those I'm talking about, you're spreading about as much misinformation as the devs did with their fallacious interpretation of data regarding Object of Obsession.
EDIT: By your argument, Nurse is then very hard to win with. Which isn't true. Share is difficult to pick up and many people struggle to learn her. But she is by far the easiest to 4k with a bit of practice. Blight can be considered the same except getting decent with him is easier but mastering him is harder than nurse (IMO)
-
People complain about the killer they see too much of and has an inordinate amount of wins compared to other killers, excluding Nurse. Wraith is just easy mode and replaced Freddy in the 'lazy killer player that isn't actually good' category. That's not to say Wraith players aren't good, I'm saying people that aren't very good at the game and aren't at the rank they should be (but have egos) will mostly pick Wraith as he's almost always a guaranteed Public Match stomper, like Freddy was until people suddenly decided he wasn't worthy (even though he's barely changed).
Blight is very easy to win with as his power is indeed skilful, but you do not need skill to be semi-competent with him. Bump, rush, hit before they get to a pallet. Easy. No need for fancy flicks or anything. Coupled with the baby slowdown build and survivors are never getting stuff done. He's replaced spirit in the higher-end stuff, lesser used than Wraith but far more oppressive. Luckily being semi-competent is sometimes not enough and they get absolutely rolled despite their laughable attempts to stack everything in their favour.
-
He's the new Freddy. Low skill, high reward, very strong addons.
-
No. It's almost impossible to prevent as a solo if the killer has functioning neurons. And killers that get value out of it against solos are at the wrong rank, but will be kept there because of it. Gimmick expose/endgame builds not included.
100% convinced matchmaking is partially skewed because of NOED, which leads to more killers feeling 'stressed'.

Still, a name-censored post chat would have been better with your post since you don't mind showing everything else.
They said it live, on VOD. As I can't link the VOD through naming and shaming rules, and the only thing said in the actual endgame itself was by Feng going "gg deez nuts"-

I spent a while editing and uploading this video lol (I cannot mute every curse word without being here for 30 years mods, please have mercy). Only took clips from the final 2-3 minutes of the match and into the lobby- I dread to think what would happen if I went earlier
Your score and their's seems to indicate you're completely truthful otherwise.
Here's a picture of when the last gen got done, if it's any help. (From Elodie's VOD)
I appreciate the effort and this definitely sheds some light to the situation. A freaking streamer being this salty over some random Freddy with pallets and some obviously memey build. God, and to think they nearly have 200 followers.
Hopefully you don't encounter more people like this. This is just cartoonishly stupid. Not even the toxic idiots I get sometimes go as far as to call this sort of stuff sweaty.
-
Wool Shirt in the most daylight-exposed map, poor burnt Freddy would even have his pores re-open by the drought. How can you deny not being sweaty here?
That aside, I see no salty chat and I find it strange that they would call anything that doesn't slowdown sweaty. Although looking at ranks and perks, maybe some are inexperienced or just permanently bad at the game. Still, a name-censored post chat would have been better with your post since you don't mind showing everything else.
Your score and their's seems to indicate you're completely truthful otherwise. I suppose they're just exceptionally stupid. This isn't common. Never has been. I think they're genuinely just lesser feeble-minds that will salt over anything.
-
Yeah I can blame them, because they chose to run that build. Can I hold anything against them? Not really beyond the fact that they're probably bad at the game if they think they need that build to win 99% of their matches with Blight. And when I play survivor I have to suffer their infinite slowdown build because they're not good enough to just down people fast and instead just keep generators hostage. At this point I'd rather be tunnelled.
I do rejoice though, as I know I perform better than these Blight with just BBQ - Discordance - Enduring/BW - Lethal Pursuer. Like, by a wide margin too while playing only once in a while. Know your place, sweaty Blights, which is under my Jill's juicy cakes.
On a slightly more serious note - They're desperate to win in an asymmetrical game with one of the strongest killer. I just chuckle and move on, maybe even write a cheeky 'lol gg' if I actually escape one during my solo games.
Also you can counter every exhaustion perk easily with just base power Blight, so comparing survivors here is pretty low IQ.
-
A reason is that you're playing this game for fun and winning awards you nothing. It's an asymmetrical game, you're not actually besting anything objectively. Making people miserable with hard tunnel/camp is just non-sensical to me. I get that some teams PUSH you to do that, but that's no longer hard-tunnel/camp, that's you adapting to the situation.
I think most people find the game way more fun when everyone gets to have fun. Not caring about how the other side feels in this imbalanced game is probably what leads to the growing toxicity. Why should survivors care about killers when they four stack with 5k hour people and know exactly how to abuse setups? I personally just hate this growing mentality and hope people start to embrace the 'just have fun' mindset instead.
As for the messages. This is a multiplayer game with people that take this game too seriously to the point of consistently camping/tunnelling on one side to 'win', and the other stacks the same perks and offers an asinine map to spite the single opponent. People are bound to feed each other salt and toxicity. Just ignore the chat. It's literally the advice given since the advent of trolls online. Don't feed them. Don't give them an opportunity.
-
Alchemist ring is absolutely ridiculous and blatantly overpowered on a killer that is extremely powerful.
-
I'm fine with NOED. It makes me realize I'm much better than a lot of people who compulsively play this game out of addiction yet still can't surmount the impossible task of hitting survivors twice in a chase and not 4K before the endgame the majority of their matches. Hell, I can do that without slowdown nowadays.
The worst part is I'm not even that good, so I just find it amusing to imagine that people make some mental gymnastics to justify their cheese because they're simply not good enough to win before 5 gens pop.
I do not count count gimmicky endgame builds here, or full-expose meme builds. Those are clearly for fun and are always fresher than the actual use of NOED.
So yeah, keep NOED, as it makes me smile each time I tell myself or my friend 'this guy definitely has NOED' and they don't fail to provide.
It sucks as a perk though, probably another reason why so many boosted killers litter red ranks which make way for boosted survivors.
-
Basement encourages camping, especially on certain killers. The less camping there is, the better this game will be. The more this disappoints, the better.
I think it should be traded for something. More choke point hooks for instance, similar to the hill hooks but not as atrocious to access. More hooks in dead zones that are risky to go for if the killer is nearby but camping isn't as free since survivors can employ more than one angle to save. While basement is just one way in, one way out, boring. It worked when the roster was ######### and the balance was beyond bad, now I think something fresh that better fits the current roster would be better.
Also doesn't mean basement needs to go entirely, but reworking it to make it less awful would be nice. Still powerful, but not a game ender.

Survivors don’t take priority over killer, even if they have more bad games.
Where in my post so I say anyone takes priority over anything? I merely gave perspective. Nobody has priority over anything. Survivors can choose to SWF with other 5k hour people and always win and make every killer they find miserable. It all comes down to how people decide to treat each other in this game, as this all ultimately voluntary.

And why should a killer consider how the survivors feel?
Killers have no way to know if they are facing a bunch of casual solos or a 4-man squad is going all out to win. Many killers are trying to win and people trying to win are going to build against the biggest threat.
Because the person I'm replying to is appealing to the notion of considering how the killer feels. Instead of exhibiting the usual low-empathy mindset of this community, I gave a more thorough perspective.
You are free to run whatever you want. You are free to sweat for victory in a game where victory is ultimately meaningless. You are free to have any opinion you want. Just as you are free to forget why I bothered to mention the survivor perspective here.
In any case, if you want an answer as to why people should care. Well, because I know it's far more fun to ease off the sweat for everybody. I end up beating stronger foes without relying on the meta and have more fun doing so. I'll still lose some, but that's to be expected in an asymmetrical game. Just as you're still going to lose some no matter how many advantages you stack in your favour, at least when it comes to killer. Which ultimately made all of this sweat feel pointless to me. And thus I strive to make the games fun, if not intense.

Why do you think killers stack slowdown? It may seem boring to you, but are you considering how the killer feels? I'd rather stack multiple slowdown than run 1 slowdown perk and deal with BT, DS, and DH.
Be honest here, how often do you truly sweat at games and these perks become horribly oppressive? The correct answer, if you're in the ranks you should be, is not very often. I do agree that having plenty of DH's, which is common yeah, is annoying but that's why you're playing Blight or any stronger killer.
The reality of it is that you're facing these intense games (under the assumption you're in the right ranks and/or skill level) about one game in ten or even twenty (depends on what time you play). The other games you feel the need to sweat are likely due to your own shortcomings and maybe some RNG, but Blight is still powerful enough to face adversity you can't control.
While survivors in solo queue will face sweaty, multi-slowdown stacking killers with super addons about one in two games. The addon part is debatable but yeah, more than half my games are the usual ruin, pop, what have you with often some tunnelling or camping (a bit less frequent but it because sad when they resort to that when already stacking so much to their advantage).
I don't think you consider how survivors feel, especially since it's far, far more agonizing for solos than it is for killers when we talk about builds and sweat.

Cool assumption. Except I do play Blight and I stand by my position. Just because it's hard for YOU doesn't mean it is for me or most people I hang out with. Some people are just bad at learning things, and some are good. I do not think Blight is that hard to learn in order to be competent. He does have a high skill cap, but to win in solo matches? He isn't hard. And, yeah he's an M1 killer if you don't land rushes, but in most of these games you barely have to. Just run when Tinker-bell rings and slowly deadzone an area. That's how the most boosted Blight players desperate to keep their Rank 1 play against solos. But, I mean, even those land the lethal rushes as they're not THAT hard to land, just sometimes a bit tricky.
High mobility is sometimes all you need to overwhelm a team that has minimal coordination.

Pyramid head is not bad nor is he cheap unlike some killers that do get downs regardless of survivor agency beyond minor things. He is a high tier killer, often considered among the top 8, that can get hits in almost any loop with proper knowledge and some skill. The people you are facing are probably idiots, although you may have to question your playstyle since I certainly never get flamed over PPhead or really most killers.
Are you tunnelling often? Camping? Using NOED? These things will make survivors enjoy the game far less and blame you for it, which to be fair, would be justified, however the abuse they give you certainly isn't fair or acceptable. Still, if you're getting flamed over just Pyramid Head, then I think you were just unlucky.
Anyway, if you want to improve with Pyramid head, you need to understand his power. When it comes to the trails and when to cage, this is a skill you need to acquire on your own. Would it be better to cage now or save it later so you can potentially avoid DS? But the main thing that makes him strong is his Punishment of the Damned. Basically what allows him to hit anywhere so long as there isn't some elevation issues. I first recommend checking Otzdarva's guide to Pyramid Head and his gameplay.
The main strategy is to threaten the survivor of a M2 attack, if they vault or drop a pallet, they'll be locked in an animation that allows a guaranteed hit. This essentially allows you to zone them for an easy M1 attack. You can also practice predicting survivor movement in tougher loops to hit them through obstacles. But most of all, I strongly recommend being careful of who you chase. The best counter to PPhead is running forward, so if they're way too far away, break chase to annoy other survivors in areas you can probably punish them with your power.
Learn the tiles and how loops work if you're new. Maybe play survivor and use a simpler killer like Wraith to understand how loops work. You'll gain game sense faster.
Is Pyramid worth learning? Absolutely. He's very much unique to other killers, even those with anti-loop like him. He's also pretty damn cool.

Blight isn't that hard to play, although he can be frustrating and lead to many mistakes even by those that play him often. The silver lining is that even if you suck with lethal rushes, you can still be on a survivor's backside in a flash. So obviously he's got overwhelming map pressure even if people suck at him.
But the real issue is slowdown stacking and addons. Stacking slowdown on this guy feels like you're facing the perks rather than the killer. It's boring, overused and gives people that aren't actually good as killer more ranks that end up skewing the matchmaking even more. Which then leads them to tunnelling/camping compulsively because they realize without help they can't get as many wins.
His addons are also disgusting. Alchemist ring and blight crow are extremely common and just make me want to die. But yeah I can see why people dislike Blight. He's giving off Freddy/Spirit vibes with how easily he stomps solo games these days. Actually, I feel like the new awful duo is Wraith/Blight. Easiest killers to 4k all the time with.

Because killers can decide if the survivors are going to have a fun match or not. In truth both sides can, but the killer can do more, so survivors may have more grievances with their own personal experiences.
Survivors bring offerings, sweaty builds and ridiculous items.
Killers being offerings, sweaty builds and ridiculous addons.
What the survivors cannot do is dictate the rhythm of the game when the above factors are equalized (equal degrees of sweat). If a killer decides someone is not going to have fun, they will NOT have fun. Survivors cannot make the game unfun for the killer beyond mild annoyances that are equivalent to hook hitting and nodding. The one thing survivors can maybe do is refuse to do gens, but this is BANNABLE. Whether or not BHVR enforces this properly is another story. If survivors 'bully', it's mostly due to a skill difference, and the killer should be able to do something about it but just lacks the experience to. Toxic behaviour but that's human nature, not survivor/killer nature.
So, yeah, especially if you're a solo survivor, you're probably more prone to having your day ruined by some killer that wants to go full force because they lost a game to a SWF a few days ago.

I guess killing survivors is a cheese tactic? Fact is, there are no cheese tactics. They have one main goal: kill. Anything in the game’s rules that helps them do this is fair game
Yes there are cheese tactics. They are also valid. Cheesing a boss in dark souls is still a valid way to win unless it involves some bug. You're still foregoing skill and game sense for an easy win while making the other side miserable. Inb4 SWF is cheesing, yes it kind of is. But it's not necessarily unfun for the killer and is way more fun for survs.
And no, your goal is to make BP. The lore backs it up with being rewarded for tormenting survivors as much as possible. Or to have fun. 'Winning' is meaningless in the game otherwise. You can get a 0k and still have Brutal Killer, or 4k and have Brutal Killer too, both with similar amounts of BP. Kills aren't what reward you the most in this game. But you're free to play however you want, just as people are free to react how they want (within reason), and can be an annoying squad for the 'fun'.

You won't enjoy it. If the team is playing to win, they'll all be running variations of the same strong meta build.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/9YXK2XG3R5XU/same-builds.png
Four Dead Hard. Four Decisive Strike. Four Unbreakable. Three Borrowed Time.
Lol, the exact same can be said for the opposite side that is just a bunch of solos. You do realize how asinine it is to face the easiest killer to get results with holding the strongest slowdown combo + Sloppy as a solo queue team? Literally impossible to enjoy and beat this build in the standard DBD format.
The difference is you're actually facing these sweaty SWF's once every twenty games. You face killers like these every two games in solo survivor. But at least now you're ready for the dreaded team that'll probably still win if they're actually good lmao.
Although the reason I'm bringing this up is because OP would also need to realize that there are sweaty SWF's that are rare, and there's everyone else. It's absolutely silly to overprepare just to stomp everything in the most boring and overkill way just to be ready for the dreaded team that's probably collectively better than you anyway. Keep in mind this is just a silly, asymmetrical game that's never been fair. Adapt to what you're facing and don't be the average douch-y turd.

Some of these comments here tell you to be a toxic killer. One i hate to go against. Camping..i dont recommend it's horrible and just makes everyone hate you :( Tunneling sure i have to agree sometimes it needed. Gen speed is too fast so killers do need to tunnel to keep pressure . I hate doing it myself but i've slowly learned being nice gets you nowhere in this game. Camping i still refuse to do i dont even have fun with it.
I'd say just enjoy the chases, learn from them. I know its annoying when you get super good loopers and t baggers or flashlighters. I usually get maybe 1 kill with these kind of teams sometimes none.
Being toxic just grows more toxicity so i dont ever recommend doing that. Theres enough of that.
Camping is a cheese strat, yes, but it isn't really toxic in this scenario. You're facing a team with an inordinate amount of advantages that you do not see in regular public matches. As a result, you need to adapt and double down on strengths that are overkill in any other scenario than this one. I agree, camping for the sake of camping in regular public matches is just smooth brained and those that 'need' to camp often are just in the wrong ranks.

Alright, so I'll open up with saying that, yes SWF is a tougher challenge and those that stack up with fellow many-hour no-lives are asinine to face. They are stacking an unfathomable amount of advantages despite playing 'just for fun', which is often not the case with the common mentalities of players on both sides here. There is an irrational desire to win in this asymmetrical game that I can only attribute to compensate for being unable to do so in levelled playing fields.
Tangent aside, I understand your struggle. And luckily, you DO NOT need to main these three killers. Nor would you need THOUSANDS of hours to be able to use them and consistently win against even sweatier SWF's. Nurse isn't as hard as people try to sell, Blight is surprisingly easy to pick up if you give yourself perks to help you as training wheels and Spirit has never been difficult to use, although she is currently bugged right now. But you can also use any higher tier killer too and you can also get consistent results.
The key with these sorts of sweaty teams is to not hold back on the scum. Slug when you can. Tunnel when you can (but try to slug rather than hook these ones), abuse altruism to spread injuries and snowball. DO NOT try to go for many hooks. If you can destroy them all in one wave, DO IT. They will recover at the speed of light if you give them an inch. If need be, camp. But camp smart. Spread injuries if you're not a strong camping killer and immediately down the must vulnerable. If you feel they'll be pressuring YOU despite this, do everything to tunnel one out. Pyramid Head is a godsend for this.
Slowdown perks help but I'll be very honest here: They only work to make you 'win more' against solos. You're still going to get outmatched by people using SWF strengths and are generally better than you. Learn to forego generator defense for more pressure on the team itself. That's not to say don't run slowdown, but don't be this brain dead blight that runs to tinkerer each time it rings despite downing a survivor being the much better play. It's incredibly stupid. Focus on spreading the pain on the team and letting go of some generators. A first hook can be an opportunity to get more injuries and more downs, thus more slugs and hooks.
Most of all, don't consider winning a big fun factor in this game. Many people here do and it leads to awful mindsets. If you're gonna lose, oh well, you'll compensate by crushing the next solos. Eventually if you apply these aggressive angles I've suggested, you'll end up rolling SWF's.
Here are killers that are good at higher levels without being the top three: Twins, Pyramid Head, Huntress, Deathslinger, Trickster (Magnificent camper), Bubba (Same), Hag (Hard to use vs SWF however), Oni. They are not TOO HARD to get into either, and are generally great at downing or removing survivors from the game quickly.

It has no counter, that's why despite all its jank and awful results at times, it's probably the most popular exhaustion perk. You cannot counter a good survivor using dead hard to extend a loop or chain another loop because even with coup, they'll likely just use it to reach a pallet and give you a delicious taste of hit validation.
The issue with dead hard is that it can have WAY too much impact for ONE perk. It can turn one survivor into a complete game changer and deny the killer the momentum they need and probably earned if they pushed the survivor to using it. 30 extra seconds (varies of course) is MASSIVE in the grand scheme of things. Now, consider this on 3 or 4 survivors, which is ABUNDANTLY common in red rank queues. You suddenly have survivors that ALL have the potential to extend chase by a fair amount that you likely can't even counter. Even with coup, you only have 5 stacks that you MUST make count, and let's face it, you're not always in a position too, let alone some stacks being consumed despite not even going for a lunge, or needing it to get a first hit quickly.
It isn't the same with sprint burst where you can cut off but also needs to be forcibly triggered at the start of the chase. It's strong, and some would say stronger than dead hard, but I find it much more manageable when you're experienced at the game than dead hard used by good players.
Also coup ######### sucks why would you ever run it even on a chill, no-slowdown build? It's jank and can only be used five times, and that's if you're struggling lol.
What to do with dead hard? I think it should be reworked in a way that it's no longer a 'Press E to extend chase' and moreso a 'dodge' that's more consistent than what it is now. No distance gained but the killer whiffing can go a long way.

You go to the character selection screen, move your cursor over to Nurse, click, enter as many games with her as possible, build up your muscle memory, and dominate all the sweaty teams.
Bad advice IMO, you're basically grinding to unlock easy mode. Just keep playing any killer you want and watch streamers that play these killers. Don't main something just for winning, that's a miserable way to play this game. You can beat any 'sweaty swf' with most killers with enough experience. You don't have to use the built-in easy mode, being nurse, to do so unless you want to compete in tournaments.
Also, yeah, spirit's 'bugged' right now, I recommend waiting for either a fix or a confirmation that she's staying this way.

Hm…let’s see. I have BBQ. No one is on a gen. Why should I leave, since I assume people are near the hook.
3 survivors are swarming the hook, trying to get the save. Why would I leave the hook?
I hooked a survivor in a 3-gen. Why would I leave the 3-gen/hook?
They said every hook, not hooks that are in strategic places at a specific moment of the game. If your only hooks are at that stage, then you are probably very bad at chase if it took you four gens to catch someone.
Yeah most people suck at this game, killer or survivor, and as you can see people get extremely defensive when their cheese tactics get called out and will often revert the conversation to 'but survs gen rush' or remark how silly your post is. We all know killers that need to resort to these tactics more often than they should are clogging matchmaking with unskilful gameplay.

Farm. Don't waste your time.

He's the new Freddy, a killer that gets results with minimal effort. Which is understandable, a lot of players aren't in the ranks they should be (both sides) and find ways to cope with that.
A fix would be to give him the Freddy treatment: Smack his problematic addons without completely gutting them. Purple Windstorm, All Seeing, Shadow Dance were all fine when Wraith was absolutely trash. Now he's decent and these things just make guaranteed wins against non-swf teams. Guaranteed if his addons become far less powerful, he'd be less of a 'go to' killer for the crowd that likes to take short cuts. They'll find another sugar daddy killer, although with stridor no longer carrying most public match spirits, they may be in for quite the dry spell.
-
Most killers in higher ranks are bad and feel threatened by solo queue teams, so you'll see this no matter what's done. Just try to get more efficient at looping.
-
Yeah I get you're having gamebreaking issues that prevent you from being able to play the game you enjoy but you see, I might be inconvenienced with some people sometimes DC'ing in my game. I mean, yeah I can still get points and the game is certainly less fun while still playable, but understand that my fun being unperturbed is more important than you being able to play in general.
The DC penalty is a joke right now, three times I've been given a penalty because the killer DC'd at the start, forcing my game to be permanently stuck at the 'intro' phase with my character just standing still until I shut down the game.
