Tbh I am kinda. Thing is, I like they have RE in the game but, honestly when it was revealed to be set in Raccoon city, I immediately said " Aw well gg". I already knew who it was going to be, so it really wasn't a surprise anymore. I have never been desensitized over a chapter like this before, but I would've been screaming "OMG , thats awesome!" if it was a character we never would've expected like Jack Baker, or Birkin, or someone we never thought was chosen. I am kinda disappointed there seems to be no representation of the modern games yet. So I will be disappointed if it was revealed it mostly focused on only RE 2 and 3 or the older ones, rather than just RE as a whole. But I'm happy none the less

I like that they are adding and LGBT charm, adding more connections to the community. But if people are gonna tunnel over a charm, thats ######### pathetic. Get a grip, ya'll who cares it's just a charm. But what excites me the most about the charm is that I hope it leads to opening up more to the community. I mean why just stop at the LGBT charm, I wanna see a charm for autism, and so on just so people can show representation in the game

He is amazing to play as I really enjoyed him, however, he was very terrible to play against as a survivor. He has a lot of map pressure, which isn't bad more or less its annoying really. He isn't as strong as PH, Blight, Nurse, or Spirit, but I feel like he is going to receive a nerf, which is kinda sad

they should have used the anniversary AND 20th chapter to give us a double pack. Like, heck, just give us jack baker along with the swamp update...
in fact, heck, seeing nemesis' ingame ability this would have worked fine for baker. scrap the zombies and instead have it that if he misses he leaves some sticky mold on the floor that'd slow down survivors
Nemesis so far is just a better version of Plague, and I gotta say, this is dissapointing. Then again this has happened before * cough, Ghost face

Same way you survive a chainsaw clean through your body multiple times only to be perfectly unscathed a minute later after a back rub. Damage in DBD is far from realistic, and seeing as how Nemesis's rocket launcher also just knocks people down in RE: Resistance, I can see it not feeling completely wrong as just an instadown with maybe the ability to destroy nearby breakable walls, pallets, and maybe even damage gens. Like seriously how is someone like Dwight still effortlessly hopping over windows and pallets after being demon smashed over the head, impaled on a rusty hook, and having lost massive amounts of blood. It's honestly hilarious how much people ignore how superhuman the survivors actually are, oh and don't even get me started on their nigh infinite sprinting stamina.
I know this is unrelated to the thread, but I wanted to make a point as I've seen this brought up a lot.
Realistically this wouldn't happen, so when the archives come out they better explain how survivors can endure that, like Stephan King has said, the less Bullshit your spewing the better

As in the press release could just be using words to hype up the announcement, not necessarily thinking "well if we say iconic, then it has to be someone from the old games"
Don't get me wrong, I'd rather they are from older ones as I don't have RE Village but I think the focus on the word "iconic" isn't a completely solid argument.
its common in advertisements to do that, to bring in new people to play the game by using big titles and ensuring it will sell

The word Iconic, is very subjective if not equally as subjective as for what horror is. Some would say Pennywise is more Iconic than Jason for example, or whatever its really just peoples perspective
