You are better vs more experience because you know what to expect. You can somewhat predict whats gonna happen. Newer players arent predictable at all. Their pathing is all sorts of cracked. That might just be the issue here.
This 100%. I die more to rank 15s than rank 1s.

Whatever man ,now I can see you're just here to disagree with me ,you haven't even provided a good explanation why,it wouldn't work only "that the dev's wouldn't balance it right"I,really don't care how you feel about it ,I wish I had someone to back me up when ever I'm in trouble and need help to get my opinion's across actually, I don't 😝
I'm not actually. I really don't have an issue with you. However, I think that you're underestimating how incompetent the devs are. They wouldn't balance it right, and it would suck for both sides. Each side would be simultaneously too strong and too weak.
I get wanting someone to back you up, but it's also a good thing to have someone to give their opinion and help you come up with better ideas than mindlessly agreeing with you.

😂Why does it have to be so restrictive?

Iron is useless against Stridor. But I agree the perks are amazing. But stridor spirit is legit spirit with training wheels.
Its not. It's just less useful. Crouching against a stridor spirit makes you nearly completely silent.

Has there been some aim-dressing tech survivors are abusing these days? For the past month or so, more and more survivors start to wiggle side-to-side just when I am about to lunge and then aim-dressing yanks my camera around and causes a miss.
I can assure you guys that I wouldn't be making this thread if something about this didn't raise my suspicions, as I land hits on survivors not doing that wiggle just fine.
Anyone here share similar experiences?
Everyone does that. Have you just noticed it?
It is supported by the devs, so it's not an exploit if that's what you're wondering.

Ok take this for example Pub G has a mode where you can play 1 man solo squad's by the end game it's you covering behind a rock or maybe in a building with a hundred feet in frontof of you, you're obviously out matched ,but with the right amount of effort you can persevere. Its really unbalanced but it works. It's probably going to take some trail and error but it could work even if it's unbalanced.
Sometimes this can happen, but I've also heard that Pub G is balanced better, though I've never played it. Effort isn't always going to win you games. Some things are just unbeatable, especially when the devs full focus isn't on it.

I haven't watched the whole thing, but from what I saw you simply have good fundementals. Well done.
Although I would say that rank matters, not in terms of actual skill, but sweatiness. Rank 1 is a cesspit of people doing everything they can to win, not that that makes them very good or even very effective.
Thank you.
Yes, red ranks tend to be more sweaty, but it isn't something that's very noticable, because players in the lower ranks sweat to get to red ranks. This is my experience, of course, so take it with a grain of salt.

Different cultures breed different playstyles. I'm not sure entirely how it works, but I do know that AU has a rather small playerbase comparitively, and a higher concentration of veteran survivors that are teaching newer survivors to absolutely slam gens by proxy (people take ques from those around them, after all).
On EU I've been told that evenings actually chill the trials out quite a bit. It has the highest number of VPNers out of the servers I have experience with (NA/EU/AU and I actually think NA might be split into NA east and NA west, because I sometimes chill on LA servers but when I SWF with people from NA east it's a fair bit more intense and the killers do less hardcore camping and tunnelling and more actually trying to win. I've heard NA players talking about the difference as well).
None of this is actually reflective of player skill, though - I'd argue that AU has the worst collection of loopers out of all of them, it's just that people down here are really, really sweaty.
I see. This does make a lot of sense. Thanks for clearing that up:)
Also, it is split up. You were right about that.

I just said on anonther post. BUFF SOLO QUEUE survivors. I´m tired of the survivors team gets demolished 85% of the times. And if killer plays a strong killer or strong addons = FATALITY for survivors. Not just victory. 4K ez pz.
U NEED TO BALANCE YOUR GAME. Is not a matter of ability. Any player (killer or survivor) should have aprox. a 50% win rate. Thats why you have a MATCHMAKING. To make close games with 50% chance of victory. And that´s definetely not happening.
MATHS DON´T LIE. It´s simple. 85%- 15%: not balance. 50%-50% = balance.
!!!BALANCE YOUR GAME!!!! So it´d be exciting for everyone to play.
Solo queue is fine. Matchmaking is what needs a fix.

I've never thought Haddonfield was that bad with Deathslinger. There are a lot of areas that are either really thin and narrow corridors or loops that you can shoot over with no thought. And so by default I don't think it would be that bad as Trickster either since they both deal with loops the same way. The only things that you can't deal with are the 2 infamous window loops but then again no killer can except mayyyybe Spirit (obviously Nurse, Trapper and hag can but that goes without saying)
I don't think you can shoot over fences, but I might be wrong. If I'm NOT wrong, however, the map is definitely not even remotely decent for him.

Playing as a killer it happens quite a lot that the first gen is already done in the first 30-40 seconds even when I already got a hook, but 1 hook in the first minute vs 1 gen, it's nothing at all.
While playing survivor, it happens a LOT I spawn with someone or more and a gen is 2 meters from us, making us work on it instantly and maybe finish it before the killer even show up or we commit to it and that's 1 gen done in the first minute.
I think on both side is it unfair since if 2-3 survivors spawn next to a gen they already start doing their objective and can possible already do 20% of their work without a single pallet dropped or even 1 hook, pretty much making the killer start the real match with 4 gens instead of 5.
Obviously it doesn't happen every single game, but most of the time it does.
Of course you can use the argument of "use corrupted intervention" which is totally valid,
but Should survivors spawn apart slightly and slightly away from gens? just to at least make survivors take 7-10 seconds to get on a gen alone or maybe with someone instead of starting 1 gen with 2-3-4 survivors right away?
They should all spawn together 100%, because it's more efficient to spread out on gens in the long run.

Embrace the chaos, maybe not there's player's who don't crossplay at all and I guess there still getting matches.I know the que was long, but it could probably work, who knows.
Queues are just one problem. They would also have to figure out how to keep things that, while ordinarily fine, would be drastically overpowered in 2v8. For example, imagine facing two nurses at my caliber or higher. That's just unbeatable. Or certain combinations, like Spirit and Hag. And what's preventing survivors from finishing 4 gens in 47 something seconds? It's just too much. Add that to the fact that they have to release new DLCs, and it's pretty much impossible.

how would you make them viable maybe even meta.
Lightweight: Your scratch marks are 50/60/70% less visible.
Coup de grace: Your lunge range is increased by 40% at all times.
Cruel limits: When a survivor vaults a window, all generators become blocked by the Entity for 2/3/4 seconds.
Buckle up: You can see how recovered a downed survivor is from any range. After picking a survivor off of the ground, that survivor has the endurance status effect for 2/4/6 seconds.
EDIT: Forgot to incorporate perk tiers into Coup de grace, so 20/30/40%

Without add ons? For sure. Spirit’s add ons absolutely put her on par with Nurse though, and Spirit literally doesn’t care about maps. Nurse usually doesn’t either, but she’s going to have a tougher time in Lery’s than Spirit will.
Spirits strongest add-ons put her on par with an addonless nurse. With add-ons, nurse is far better than any other killer(besides hag).

You have to get 10 hooks and max out in a category,to earn a pip and just a safety pip with a 2k to gain ,
Rank doesn't mean skill ? ,I wonder why so many people fight to get to the reds, I just wonder why
So console can't be hacked? Sure whatever
Like, I said something was off
Again all you told was you tunnel and slug the most basic of the gameplay mechanics thank's for teaching me so much
I don't think it can. Even if it can, which I highly doubt, I'm not smart enough to do it. Nothing was "off".
I never tunnel. I hate people who do. You see, you shouldn't play to make the other side have fun. That's their job. However, being an ######### is wrong, and that's what tunneling is, since it isn't necessary to win.
Rank doesn't mean anything. Every good player knows this. Even the devs have said that it doesn't correlate directly to skill, on Twitter I think. Anyways, if you think that rank means skill, the only thing I can tell you is: Get good.
For proof that nothing is "off", I'm going to ask another veteran player to verify it for me. If you won't take my word for it, you should definitely take theirs.
Does this look like I'm hacking?
https://youtu.be/bEjBP30yo1E
I need another experienced player to verify this for me if you don't mind.

Pretty sure 99% of survivor players complaining about Spirit is a sign that she’s awful to play against. Most people on here enjoy Nurse, who is just as strong, as her chases are much more interesting. I’ve played Spirit quite a lot in the past, and she is a breeze to play, you are guaranteed multiple survivors dead every game, in the worst case scenario.
And they already did nerf the survivor second chance perks lol. DS was just nerfed, which is also a nerf to unbreakable. Not sure what other perks you feel are so badly in need of a nerf? Are you saying Iron Will, BT, Sprint Burst, Dead Hard need a nerf? They already are reliant on survivors using them well, or the killer making poor decisions in BT.
Just as strong? Honey, please. Nurse is on a whole nother level

@WTBacon said:
I had an idea for a survivor perk that makes you play in first person for some kind of benefit.
First Person
You lose awareness of your surroundings and focus more on what is happening in front of you.
Third person camera is replaced with first person. Your Action speeds in Repairing, Healing, Sabotaging, Unhooking, Vaulting, Cleansing, Opening, and Unlocking are increased by 3/6/9%.
Yes, it's just Resilience with a different drawback.
I would actually like this a lot. You could stack it with resilience, and as a reward for hindering yourself, be able to have an outstanding ability. This is one of the most balanced perk ideas I've seen in a while. Although I wouldn't call it first person. Maybe something to do with focus/concentration?

This. Most SWF's I play against aren't sweaty tryhards but are carried by coms and are terrible in chase. These games are much more casual than 4 solo's who are actually really good at the game.
Exactly. Solo players are always better because they have to learn to carry their team. Get 4 players good at this, and they beat 99% of SWF.

Idk it's something off about you're gameplay, I'm not sure how you're blinking halfway across the map with out add ons ,and those survivors we're obviously potatoes ,then you're accuracy changes drastically from Nurse to Trickster.
At the same time, that doesn't change the fact Nurse probably has the best map pressure out of all the killer's,The survivors,I face are very high level players who loop and know how to use the killer's power to there advantage.
And how can I be less skilled then you if I'm in the Red Ranks as well you don't pip if you don't 3k or 4k you'll only get Brutal or ED if you 2k or get 1k,so don't tell me not to complain on a vent thread.
That's her normal blink range. It looks longer because of Shadowborn. Remember, I'm on console, so I legitimately CAN'T hack, and I wouldn't want to either. An undeserved win isn't a win at all. I don't really know what you mean by "off". Please explain to me what you mean by this.
Rank doesn't mean skill. All of those survivors were rank 1. You actually can pip with a 1-2k with a killer like Legion. I've done it before.
I'm simply not a good Trickster. That was I think my 5th match with him, compared to the thousands I have on nurse. There's obviously going to be a gap in my skill between the two. However, I assure you that all of these survivors were red rank, even though they were potatoes. These types of survivors are what I go against usually. I have no issue getting 4ks because of this. If you think that good survivors are all you're facing you're wrong. For every good survivor there are a thousand potatoes, meaning that you'll never consistently get survivors that can loop well, if at all, and you'll only get survivors who can turn your power into an advantage even less.
You're less skilled than I am because you don't know this. Ask any experienced player and they'll tell you the same exact things. Rank doesn't mean skill, and most survivors are potatoes. After playing this game for a long time, you'll realize this.

Normally I would agree however it's used even when killers aren't face camping. Survivors haphazardly diving the hook knowing the most likely will not be punished for doing so. I agree face camping at any time other than the end of the match is also bad and should be punished but even then there are moments where survivors are extremely aggressive about hook saves on the first hook of the match. Moreover the devs actually said that camping is a legitimate way to play the game, the devs also swiftly punish any killer caught using or abusing exploits in the game...
But the grab tech is supported by them. Being aggressive about hook saves really shouldn't be a thing, but that's not what people use grab tech for.

That statistic is way too low. More SWF than not are good at the game. And even if they're not, the coordination you can achieve with SWF makes up for the less overall skill, compared to just a bunch of good solos. Solos can do good in chase and be efficient on gens, but they can't know each other's perks, and it's very unlikely that you'll get more than 2 good solos in a single match. I've seen so many SWF that made mistake after mistake in chase, and pushed gens risky and injured, but it didn't matter because they could coordinate a multi-man Adrenaline play, or force the killer to chase the guy with DS so he gets stunned even though he just hooked someone else.
You have it backwards. The average SWF survivor is bad because they're carried to a rank they wouldn't typically achieve.

Then I know you're not winning every game,do you know how awful Nurse is on console.
Omg you use bamboozled on Nurse 🤣🤣
I'm not also saying that I don't slug or tunnel either, I do all of these things when necessary, but my entire playstyle doesn't revolve around those tactic's ,you're allowed to play how you want ,I'm just pointing out the flaws in you're argument, and the comparison in skill level, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do those things.
My Nurse build is BBQ, Shadowborn, Whispers/Knockout, and Infectious. And no, she doesn't suck on console. Watch SupaAlfs old videos when he still was on PS4 if you don't believe me.
And yes, I have used Bamboozle on nurse when I was running a meme build with Spasmodic Breath.
My playstyle revolves around slugging because it's the easiest way to turn the tables on survivors. You're completely right that gen speeds are problematic. A good team can finish the game in 4-5 minutes. Slugging makes survivors experience what it feels like when this happens, and that's why I do it. If I'm going against a team who are obviously bad, I won't slug them. For example, this game(bear in mind this is at rank ONE, as hard as it is to believe):
https://youtu.be/bEjBP30yo1EEDIT: Oh wait, I was running Thana in this. But my point still stands.

I'm so sick of seeing this. end game collapse, you are any killer other than bubba and a swarm of survivors rushes one person on hook only to tap grab and immediately release to bate you, the killer, into hitting someone because they know that killer grabs are broken.
I mean this is an easy problem to solve: every time a survivor "taps" a generator or fakes a rescue make the generator explode and take a chunk off of the hooked survivors remaining time on hook.
It's extremely unfair that the killer is required to fully commit to every action while survivors can merely touch anything with zero consequence. there are four of them and the devs need to stop rewarding them for stupid plays. it's incredibly unfair.
No. That's the only way to save against someone truly committing to face camping.
