I'm having the same problem as Doctor. Someone was down with Tier 3 Madness but no explosion and the scream wasn't directional. Just all around me. Didn't seem to have these problems until the new update. Once the new update hit, Hags' shackles didn't give me any notification whatsoever. I thought they was just useless lol.
Definitely a bug then. Probably with your system though, as this has never happened to me, and I play for around 10 hours everyday.

A bug that doesnt happen very often? I literally get it every game, multiple times a game when I play Nurse. I use double recharge addons.
That's your issue. It pretty much doesn't happen if you don't use add-ons. I play her without add-ons, and I haven't had it happen to me in months. But the second I put some add-ons on, it happened a bit more consistently.
Don't use add-ons. If it's happening to the point where you can't win with her, don't use add-ons, or only use range add-ons. Range add-ons don't make it happen more.

M&K just felt extremely natural to me on killer. On survivor the opposite, had to bully myself into learning it when my controller broke
M+K was natural to me as killer when I still had a PC because I only played nurse. My left hand doesn't really have the dexterity to allow me to move like I can on console.

I know another spirit post, but I've read a lot of post about her and people are convinced there is counter play to her. I'm here to tell you the very truth. The only counterplay a spirit has is using a god pallet or god window that's it. There's no other counterplay to her and I will explain why many of the supposed counters to her are wrong.
The first one is running back through your scratch marks. This is by far the most stupid one to do because you literally are running back towards the spirit and will run head on into her and she will down you. Don't ever do this because a spirit with a brain will instantly get you.
The second counter play I hear is to hold w and break line of sight. This still doesn't work because the spirit will phase to you and catch you before you can make it anywhere. Also breaking line of sight doesn't help because she uses sound to track you not scratch marks, scratch marks are the very least the spirit should worry about. Also you are invisible to the spirit already if she phases so how would breaking line of sight help in the first place.
The third counter is slow vaulting windows or pallets. This also doesn't work because you guessed it, you make noise still while slow vaulting. The survivor makes a moaning while slow vaulting. I know it isn't loud, but is still easily heard if your paying attention. Also slow vaulting into a fast vault doesn't work because when you fast vault dust kicks up into the air on the side you fast vaulted.
The last counterplay that I I've seen is the reverse pallet drop. You drop the pallet infront of you instead of running through and dropping it. Again this doesn't work because of sound. The spirit can hear your breathing and when injured moaning. Alls she has to do is to 50% around to pallet here what side you on and come out and hit you. Also you through the pallet in the direction that the spirit is coming from so if she desides to go head on towards the pallet your screwed.
That is all I have on the Spirit counterplay. I am open to hearing your guys thoughts on the matter (please be civil) and maybe you can try to change my mind on it, but for know the only counter to spirit IMO is using a god pallet or window.
How about crouching inconsistently to throw her off? Iron will? These both counter her.

This isn't true. I'm on PS4 and do just fine with her
Also her sensitivity doesn't decrease in her power.

Take a recording.
Submit a ticket(options menu)

She's not inconsistent? oh then please! Tell me how you fix her blink issue.
The one where her blink decides it doesnt want to work anymore and you get an endless audio loop of her attempting to blink rapidly.
Also, blink hitting a survivor gets rid of it when it only happens on the chain blink.

What it DOESN'T say is that it DOESN'T tell Hag that you don't get a notification that your trap is triggered either. I've used that add-on a few times and get ######### on because if I don't pay attention, I never notice someone triggering one until they're far away and I just lose a hit. If they want to remove that add-on, I wouldn't care. My opinion on it is its a detriment. Not only does it not YANK a survivor for you so it makes a hit easier for the Hag, it also doesn't notify the Hag unless you're already chasing or just waiting for someone to trigger it. I prefer to port and hit, not stare at a trap and hope someone triggers one.
It does. I play rusty shackles hag all the time.

Nurse is overrated. Years ago she was great. But now it's not worth to go through all the hassle to master her.
You'll get better results in mastering any other killer in a fraction of time.
This is also reflected in her kill rate.
She's still the best killer if you master her.

It's not. It just seems like it because her weapon model is smaller. It's the same problem that Freddy, Hag and Legion have.
Not that. I'm not even talking about lunging. I'm talking about standing still and swinging. You have a higher chance to hit survivors doing this than any other killer. This has been proven, and it's intended.
I assumed that it applied to lunging as well, but maybe not. I don't know, because this hasn't been tested.

Everyone's idea is the max FOV the slider goes would be 15 degrees, which is what shadowborn currently is. Muscle memory wouldn't be affected if you set the slider to max. And I don't see how it would be a problem for flashlights, if you ran shadowborn anyway you were aware of the increased flashlight angle and it's the risk you took.
Yeah, but I thought that they meant it could go way more than 15 degrees.

Her lunge is the same of all other killers. In fact if you attack right after a blink the range is actually a bit shorter because you don't get sufficient acceleration for a lunge.
For OP, Nurse is all about muscle memory. You'll suffer a ton until one day you realize you finally get what to do. I recommend you watch SupaAlf, he's an insanely good Nurse main.
But her hitbox when just swinging is bigger.

Why would you need to learn nurse again? They're saying if they added a FOV slider and changed Shadowborn from a FOV perk, what would the perk be changed to? You'd just slide FOV up to old Shadowborn level and it'd be the same, save a perk slot.
But what is that level? And wouldn't an FOV slider be problematic because of things like flashlights?

She's arguably the best killer in the game but I love going against her, even if she's good. But lately when I do face her, she worries me for a moment. She'll chase my teammates for less than a minute and it seems they keep going down to her. When it's my time to be chased, the chases usually lasts a few minutes because I lose LOS, loop, etc. After a few minutes, she'll either lose chase or down me.
Then I'm left thinking, "This Nurse gave you guys a hard time, THIS NURSE, REALLY?!"
I still love facing her. Gives me a challenge that the other killers don't.
As a nurse main, I will always get chased for a long time, even by a good nurse. Once you know how she works, you know how to counterplay her.
-
No. Then every Shadowborn nurse would have to relearn her muscle memory, which I'd rather not do. Shadowborn is fine right where it is.
-
As a nurse main, she's not inconsistent. You just have to be good with her to know this.
Also, nurse has the longest lunge in the game.
As for tips:
Don't predict where survivors are.
Learn her muscle memory completely. You'll realize that there are very few inconsistencies with it. Those inconsistencies are called blink deadzones, and you can't blink at all in them.
Only use one blink to traverse the map.
Don't give up. Nurse is on a whole different tier than every other killer. This is only offset by the time it takes to learn her. If you have any intention of giving up, don't even bother with her.
Practice, practice, practice, leads to mastery.

Take it from a console player when I say it's petty. Sure, they're playing them, but they also have to deal with bugs that we don't for either a few more weeks or never. I got a pc that I could play ptbs on, but even before I did and I was strictly console, I didn't mind just watching streams and videos. Sometimes I was even glad I wasn't able to play the ptb depending on the existing bugs or what they changed. (Silent Hill midchapter? SO GLAD I didn't have a pc to play the ptb on, that looked really bad). Also trust me when I say, the ptb isn't very fun. Matchmaking doesn't exist and makes the matchmaking in live servers look pleasant. I only play the ptb for a day and then get off because it's not fun.
However to answer the question of the og poster: I believe we will be getting the ptb on the same day as the reveal. They did that last year after the stream was over.
I used to be on PC. Trying out a new killer is really exciting for me, and I hate that I can't anymore. I just wish that we got to play a new killer for the event.

PTB release will be PC only regardless.
If anything the sooner it's released the better. You might not be able to play it, but an early PTB means it'll hit live (and console) sooner.
They should have done PTB before the event, so that we can use the new killer too

It's not BHVR's fault they can't release PTBs on console. Best they could do is let their PC players test the PTB.
Also, all of the console players commenting on this thread don't care about it.

@Sluzzy said:
With the exception of perks like sprint burst, self-care, etc, the good survivor perks are so situational the stars have to align to use them. Sometimes an entire build has to be devoted to 'maybe' use them only one time, such as the case of Power Struggle. In those cases, the survivor is playing the game handicapped.
Meanwhile, strong killer perks are simply "given" for playing the game normally or when the survivor plays the game: BBQ, Tinkerer, Ruin to name a few. Killer can play the game normally to reap in huge benefits of the game being tilted in their favor massively.
I think this is unfair and the devs should stop showing favoritism for one side. If killers are to have game changing perks guaranteed to benefit from, survivors should too.
And fix dead hard. It's been a coin-toss since dedicated servers. If a perk like BBQ was a coin-toss perk it would have been dealt with immediately.
Make your game fair.
You're losing your touch.

Perhaps that's true(?), but you're also forgetting that aiming is objectively more harder on console. I'm also not going to be debating this "aiming is harder" bit, it's already been well-established that aiming in video games is easier on PC than console.
I play on console. This is coming from someone who knows exactly what he's talking about. I play a lot of Trickster, and he's easier on console. You want lower sensitivity with him.

And if you can't afford to do that because you need to hit a Survivor with multiple knives asap? Remember that you need 8 knives to take a health state.
PC Trickster have the advantage of being able to easily keep their aim on the Survivor even with recoil. Console players get unfairly hit by the recoil, aiming is already hard on console tbh, there doesn't need to be difficulties that pretty much only affect console players.
You can tap really quickly and get almost the same speed. You'll hit the same amount of knives.

Survivors also needs better perks, last 3 chapters had bad perks for Survivors.
I think smash hit is the best exhaustion perk since the stun bug is fixed, by otherwise, yeah, they haven't.

see, this is a troll post i will bite at, but barely........ as you can EASILY come up with these answers on your own
only doing infinite loops. soul guard. flashlights, body blocking. DS, dead hard... When all four survivors utilize every single resource at their disposal. The killer will NEVER get one hook even with tunneling
Infinites don't exist, Soul guard only works once, flashlights are easily counterable, body blocking gets people off gens, DS is balanced, Dead hard is unbalanced, but it's one perk, and it won't lose you games. This seems like a case of get good to me.
