Hold on, you are probably pig main cuz of your pic. I don't care about her purple slowdown and jigsaw addons. Every pig using them in every match. Do you know crouching even disable borrowed time because of no Terror Radius ? Tired of saying this but pig is not weak lmao. Of course all killer mains defend pig
Ummm, yes I'm aware her crouching defeats Borrowed Time. It's called being Undetectable. I'm not longer a killer main I play both sides fairly evenly now. However I will to the ends of the earth defend Pig from haters because she was my main. If you ask me people who camp and tunnel as Pig don't know how to use her properly.
-
If you're going to bait, try something believable. Unless you have certain add-ons you're almost never getting trap kills and if you're crouching around the whole game you basically lost. So try harder next time. Take it from someone who mained Pig. This is such unbelievable bait it's laughable.

PIG and Legion

Wh-I'm not gonna question it. KYF was gonna break in some way eventually.
-
Is it just me or with every rift does it feel like the free track gets smaller and smaller for the amount of stuff?
-
I understand the reasoning behind why people hate it so it's not that I think it's 100% fine as is, but personally I've had 0 problems with it because I'm not given too much info by looking in 1 spot.
-
At first I thought The Game map was killer sided but that was playing Doctor who has always had an overwhelming advantage on that map (and still does). My first game not as Doc? 4 escapes and it has yet to waver outside of playing Doc.
-
The graphical updates are that. A graphical update. It's not necessarily intended with all maps to be reworked, but it feels like that because of how different the maps are. My guess is they didn't intend to rework The Game, therefor it's extremely one sided atm.

Whenever I go to the new maps my ping goes insane as soon as a start a chase as killer and can't get it a single down because hit validation activates because my ping is too high.

It's cheating the system into giving you something you didn't earn. There should never be an exploitable system in place like that, in a MP game where one side is reliant on the other to have fun and earn points the way it was meant. I'm sure XP rift gain while AFK was an oversight, and even if it weren't, it's against the rules of the game to AFK on purpose.
I think the OP should consider people who may be limited in playtime instead of thinking selfishly.
Then my mistake. I don't afk on purpose so I didn't know that was even a rule.

you didn't mention games? Also im not sure what you're even saying im wrong about because you didn't reply to the fact that its 200 hours long you just said you spend that amount of time on the game....and others apparently. I mean congrats im not one of those people thats going to tell you you're wasting too much time on video games because time you enjoy is never wasted, BUT that is a lot man lol.
Ok for example, last rift I AFK'd while practicing guitar. I full much more fulfilled in the progress i made durning that time than i did with the tiers i earned just food for thought.
(Also this just urked me as I typed, how can people who play more than me not complete the battlepass because they aren't trying....its not an interactive grind past the challenges which i think accounts for a little less than half the rift. Its literally just spend time playing lol)
"Games that I play (other than dbd) if you sit there afk for a certain amount of time it will force you out of the game and you get nothing." - literally copy and pasted from my first comment. It's also not 200 hours long. If you don't do any of the archive challenges you're only getting 1 rift fragment per game. If they're spending more time in the game, but not doing challenges, they probably are not getting everything (and not caring). If you feel fulfilled not playing the game and getting rewarded good for you. You sound lazy af (in game).

Oh also i should mention because i detect that salt, i have completed all the rifts, which is uncommon. People who play more than me don't finish rifts.
So ig people who play don't get rewards for their money spent huh? Not that the money is any object to you i mean those 15 dollar skins are a steal. Again tho the outrage to that pales in comparison to the outrage at the player icons being moved from the bottom to the side of the screen
I play and don't afk farm and get the rewards. Finished every single rift. People who play more than you who aren't getting them probably aren't trying to. Also the games I mentioned actually do have battle passes. Some of them even have multiple so you're wrong.
-
People overexaggerate in what the devs say so they celebrate thinking something is going to happen and then riot because they didn't get what the devs never said they were giving.
-
I'd personally wait to see how far you get into it to know if you'd want to use your money on it. If you only get like 30 tiers out of it, don't bother. If you get 68-70 tiers out of it then it's more worth it.
-
It really depends on if I'm playing killer or survivor. If I'm playing Killer I love small maps, but when I play Survivor I almost literally want to give myself up to the killer and end my misery before it's even started.

ah yes, you and your friends are the voice of reason
I didn't say we were. You guys are turning a comment where I was just like "I think they're over exaggerating I personally just haven't experienced it or seen it" into something else. Grow the [bad word] up.

Literally everyone else: “Hitboxes are a problem!”
You: “People are over exaggerating because I personally have not seen any hitbox issues”
Yeah I haven't seen any problems and I'm not even talking just about me. I've been playing with friends and watching streams. I have yet to see one bad hit box that wasn't lag related once ping was looked at.

Found the killer main enjoying the free hits!
Me: "I've been playing both sides all day"
You: "KILLER MAIN!"
You can't read well.

@dspaceman20 said:
Is it really that bad?
No. It's not. People love overexaggerating. I've been playing both sides all day and haven't seen a single hitbox issue on either side.
-
Honestly atm I'm liking the new UI just because of UI scaling so it's not in my face 24/7 during the match and I love how the updated maps are looking. I wish those who felt so strongly about not loving what the devs have put out would calm down tho.

They've never appeared as an entire set, they've always been single parts.

This question has an issue, namely that survivors are never associated with a realm, since the entity creates realms based on the killer's location they were at when they were taken, not the survivor's. Yes, they may coincide with one another in some cases, but that's all there is to it.
That's true. I'll edit my post then to make it clear about survivors.
-
This one feels like a difficult question. I think when they designed the perk they wanted it to sorta be like "Hard Mode" for the survivors if they chose to run the perk. However, it does feel like it's missing SOMETHING to make it feel complete. I think a rework could give it that something it's missing and possibly make it better.

nope it has no direct counter play and why it's been talked about since it came into being! I mean litterally... through two mori changes with promises to change keys at the same time hasn't happened. till it happens I won't hold my breath nor recommend it
And they've already mentioned MORE MORI CHANGES with still no eta on the first key changes. (They did say with the more mori changes there will be more key changes but just the fact that they mentioned the mori changes is disgusting)

That's just you bad at killing survivors. Git gud good sir.
If the survivor escaped via hatch key the killer did not "play super well."
That you actually think so tells me a lot about your actual skill level and your standards of what "super well" is.
For this I think I'm going to have to disagree. They did not specify when the hatch spawned. Did they kill 3 close the hatch and then a key was in play? Were 2 people dead with 2 gens left and they crouched around until they found the hatch? If it were 3 people with 1 gen left or 4 people escape, in those cases I'll agree with you but if 2 people are dead with 2 gens left I think you're in a pretty good spot as killer with that situation (assuming no keys).

It's their job to be programmers though? like it's hard but it's also their job, it's like a math teacher saying math is too hard for me when it's his job to teach it, and for the record the reason it can't be cleansed is because it's too tight just move it a bit
I didn't say it was hard though. Something can take a while and not be hard. If that were the only problem with it then it would have already been done I feel like. I could be dead wrong though.

I didn't see the "It depends" option until I voted whoops.
It really does depend.

You were being quite snippy, and for no good reason.
I don't care how many times you've seen it. Topics are repeated all the time on this forum and in the community in general. I'm going to talk about what I feel like and if you don't like it then move on. You didn't do that and instead tried to be patronising and catty, meanwhile failing to realise your irony of complaining about complaining.
What you initially said isn't indicative of your supposed point in the slightest. Either way, the conversation wasn't about getting people on my side, it was more of a brain dump and then discuss.
And I'm voicing my opinion of why is this still a topic when we know the answer already. Regardless of if you're solo or swf, you know what a totem looks like and if you aren't in danger and there's a possibility of NOED you also know how to break it. I've had swf games where we got hit with NOED because we didn't know the location of the last totem. I've also had complete solo q games where we got all 5 totems and NOED didn't activate (Killer had noed according to end screen). The argument of "It's too hard for solo but it's so easy for swf" is ridiculous and dumb. That's my opinion.
-
Answer: As soon as they figure out what's causing
Seriously people who have done any level of coding knows that something could bug because of something completely unrelated.
-
@Volcz said:
Damn this title is ironic.
No dude, the people who refuse to do totems and complain about NOED are lazy & dumb. I'm a solo survivor main and if I can find the time to focus hexes/dull totems, you can too. You're either entitled af, lazy or dumb. Take your pick. Do the totems and then you won't have to worry as much, at least you'll know you did what you could to nullify NOED.
At lower ranks, yea I'd say its a lot harder to counter NOED. At high ranks (red), you have no excuse.
They could be all 3
-
@kyogul I wasn't being bitchy. I was just saying we've seen this same post a million times at this point. Instead of making everything sound like a complaint how about you just read the freaking comment like a normal human being. Thank you and have a nice day.
I don't care that it's repeated, I just meant (in a really weird way) you shouldn't expect to get more people on your side of the argument when you aren't bringing any new information to the table. Repeating the same information isn't going to get you anywhere.
-
I think if you're looking for power then I'd say Spirit or Doctor are the best ones in the high ranks (other than Freddy).
-
Yeah yeah we've heard this about a million times at this point and we all know it's false. "Only easy and valid in swf. Hard and invalid for solo." Just move on and find something else to complain about.
-
I just hate that their reasoning for not changing it is "We're going to wait to see how the other platforms react to this change" like the other platforms haven't already seen and complained about it. (Not to mention that the PTB is meant to test and give feedback so by ignoring the feedback it sounds like the PTB really isn't needed)
-
The only thing wrong I really find with this post is how it paints a picture of "Survivors do no wrong" and "Killers are evil and are rewarded for being bullies to us poor survivors". Anyone who's played for more than 1 match on both sides knows this isn't the usual case AT ALL.
-
If you're making a conscious decision to not do anything to keep an anti-tunneling perk active when not being tunneled, that's on you. That's not on anyone else. If you screw over your team because of that, that's on you and no one else. The killer will go after the people doing stuff while you go sit in your corner. Basically a 3v1 while your DS is on.
-
Did they announce a rework or are you just talking about next time she gets looked at?

Console killers are, somehow, extremely bad. It’s a blanket thing. I’ve faced so many rank 1 console killers that are just.... awful. When they manage to eventually get a hook they stand there and hit the body over and over. It’s funny watching them get their first and last hook of the game every time. You can tell immediately when it’s a console killer vs pc killer. Love to get them free bold points. Makes up for the lack of altruism while playing against them
If I can 4k with crossplay on on Switch on Ormond with 2 tier 1 perks (that's it) and no add-ons as Wraith and I don't even MAIN Wraith, sure. Ok. Console players suck. We'll go with that.

The risk is you block the gen. Then you lead of the killer. He downs you but the gen that could've been fixed by your teammate and helped you win isn't repaired because of Repressed Alliance.
If you're working on a generator with others you need to be aware of how long the 30 seconds will be and if using Repressed Alliance in that moment would be a smart move. It's more worth it if a gen was close to done and you were working alone. That way survivors know "Go for this generator".
-
For me, it's 50/50 on this issue. I understand why people want a hill on Shelter Woods, however for the amount of uproar it has there doesn't appear to be many people running Balanced Landing in my experience. It's usually Sprint Burst, Lithe, or Dead Hard (out of the 3 it's mostly Sprint Burst and Dead Hard).
-
DS most likely will do nothing. Most people go for gens and altruism when trying to rank up fast.
-
From what I understand, the only changes to DS made were that they set conditions for what keeps the perk active.
-
Honest question, if you're so overly amazing at chases that you need 4 minutes of Decisive, why do you need Decisive? It sounds like you're pretty good at looping the killer.
Also, like someone else said, rounds only last 10-15 minutes. You want DS active for 26.67-40% of the match. That's what you're suggesting. "I want almost half the match for this one perk that's anti tunnel to be active."
-
@Klakky said:
It does offer extra rewards, better add ons, rarer items in bloodweb. But it would be nice to get a certain amount of auric cells for each character in p3
To me, I never notice the change except for between Levels 1 and 20 of Prestige 2. Not Prestiged, Prestige 1, and Prestige 2 all seem to have pretty much the same stuff in the early bloodwebs spawning. Once you get passed Level 20, it's pretty much rarer stuff anyways.
-
I literally read this and was like "This person thinks they know what they're talking about". First off, what's tunneling? Tunneling is when you stop at nothing to make sure someone is out of the game. So, by the definition of tunneling (and ds being an anti-tunnel perk), nothing has changed about the perk. All that has happened is they have taken out the abusive side that the SWF GROUPS HAVE BEEN ABUSING (and the toxic players have been abusing). So ggs as you have said.

Repressed Alliance is to big a risk
Tell me what the risk is.
-
I don't think any perk is a crutch. I think it's possible that you use a certain perk combo for so long that if you messed with the combo in any way you might handicap yourself, but no individual perk for a short period of time is a crutch.
-
We're Gonna Live Forever and Unbreakbale aren't comparable because We're Gonna Live Forever is only faster healing when you're healing downed survivors not yourself. Unbreakable is for yourself. Besides no one is bringing We're Gonna Live Forever for healing, they're bringing it for bloodpoints.
Repressed Alliance is fine. It takes a long time because it almost guarantees you get a gen unless the killer just sits in front of your gen and in that time YOU COULD BE DOING ANOTHER GEN.
Built to Last is fine. If you're suggesting it should work for perk tokens I don't think it should. I think it's fine to just be used on items and it should be able to used more than once, but on a token system so it can't be used indefinitely.
The other perks I agree with, but that doesn't mean they aren't fun to use (I'm not saying that you said they weren't)
-
I'm not sure we'll ever know the story behind that. Most cinematics that happen in the archive trailer are not related (or are barely related) to the story within the archives. The most obvious one being Tome 3. We still don't know much about that cinematic but we saw it.
