It's M1 only.
And by that I really mean M1 only, not even Legion in feral frenzy will work, since it is technically an ability.
I got it using Legion's power so this isn't true.

Maybe, stop worrying about MMR.
Who cares if that players MMR is raised because they escaped with a key? 1. It's a single match, it probably won't make much of a difference. 2. They're only shooting themselves in the foot is they do it intentionally, because MMR only serves matchmaking, leading to harder matches for that survivor.
MMR isn't a medal to brag about, or a goal to achieve, or something to get jealous about, it's literally just the matchmaking algorithm, working in the background, to try to match players with similarly skilled opponents.
That's a well put statement. I always remember this now whenever someone brings a key and escapes.
-
Don't worry, they'll get to key changes with the next mori update. Just like they were going to get to it the last 2 mori updates. They should really just stop talking about keys like the changes are coming. They aren't.

They not gonna stop bringing keys until the devs nerf them lol
I think they just meant that the number of people bringing keys will decrease, not that they'll completely stop bringing keys.

I've had instant queue times since the chapter released for both sides. I just click the button and bam a lobby.
-
If you actually have a 72 hour ban because you're disconnecting THAT MUCH, then you're exactly the type of player that caused the disconnect penalty to become a thing in the first place. Sorry, it's true. I don't want to have people in my matches, regardless of the side I'm playing, that are just going to disconnect. It's boring and rude. If your game crashed, which is rare as @NoOneKnowsNova said, then it's not that big of a deal. You can wait it out.
-
It has a bunch of safe pallets and as an added bonus, sometimes you can't break them. Have fun! That's what I'm getting from BHVR

Pinhead is one of the worst killers in the game, so I don't have any idea how you came to your conclusion.
I also don't want any more garbage survivor perks to take up room in the shrine. Desperate Measures and Smash Hit still have yet to make an appearance.
Personally I wouldn't say he's one of the worst, but he definitely isn't one of the greatest. He's in the middle somewhere.

Survivors get a 2500 BP score for Seeker of Pleasure when they carry the box out the gate. Kind of a nice little bonus, although I'm not sure what category, if any, it goes into.
Same as Pinhead getting a Lament Guardian (think that's the right name) score of 2500 BP if he manages to keep it in the map. Not sure where that goes either, cause every time it popped up, there wasn't the usual red bar showing fullness of anything in terms of BP.
Really enjoying him as well, btw. He feels pretty well balanced from both sides, although I'm sure they'll tweak him a bit once they get a look at his performance.
I'm guessing it's a bug and they're supposed to go in a category but are treated like they're in a special 5th category. Seeker of Pleasure probably belongs in boldness since generally boldness is the category used when interacting with killer items and Lament Guardian probably goes in Deviousness since that's category is used generally for score events related to the killers power.
-
Since Freddy's Dream Demon applies the Oblivious status effect going into Dream World, I'd assume it would work.
-
BHVR is probably keeping us from knowing what influences mmr because they saw how well THAT went when they showed us what influenced pips for our rank. They needed a new system because they did that. Also, as others have said, it's harder to smurf with mmr which is a plus.
-
I haven't noticed anything dealing with performance, then again I'm a switch player and switch has had bad fps since day 1. Personally, I don't think people who play Cenobite look for the box because it's a puny box that they don't even get aura reading on even if they're like 5 meters from the box. There just seems to be a lackluster effect for a box that small with no aura reading when close. I've been enjoying using add-ons to increase the speed at which chain hunts activate and the iridescent add-on for you not to be able to see the box unless you're close by. Also when playing against Cenobite, I'm not entirely sure what you mean when you say he feels "mid." That just feels like it can mean a lot of things. However he does feel kind of weird to go against.
-
Crossprogression is between Steam and Stadia and "soon" to be Switch. Also, Behavior is not the only authority on crossprogression. They need the ok from the different platforms to start trying to implement it. We all know Sony won't because it's Sony and Microsoft is a stretch but might. It would be nice to have it between all the platforms, but it's highly unlikely to ever happen.
-
What if they just want to get better at the killer? Not every iridescent grade killer is going to be that toxic piece of you know what that is only playing their worst killer so they can stomp the worse survivors in the game. Personally, I'm an iridescent grade killer but if I play one of my worse killers, it's not because I want to stomp the survivors I'm up against. I'd do it because I actually want to get better at that specific killer.
-
How many is "too many?" He's been in 3 trailers. 1 of them, all 4 base survivors were featured in some way or another.
-
Switch crossprogression has been "coming soon" since it was announced... July 2020. At this point, although I'm sure problems with it, I'm placing my bets that it's not coming. It's been far too long since it was announced, especially since the initial release for the 3 platforms getting it was supposed to be last September. (None of them came last September but that's what we were intially told). I feel like switch crossprogression is going to be like the key nerf that's always "coming with the next changes moris." Switch crossprogression is "Coming in September" then "It'll be a few weeks after steam and stadia" then idr but I swear something else then "It'll most likely be by the end of the second quarter, but we're aiming for April." Technically the last one wasn't a promise per se, but they were still confident enough to give us a month they were aiming for.

what does it mean? You can still depip though, right?
Using a random grade as an example:
If you're at Gold II with 4 pips, you can still depip
HOWEVER
let's say you were at Gold II with 0 pips, you can't go down a grade so the worst you can do is safety pip
but the moment you gain a pip, you can depip back down to 0 pips.
So as long as losing a pip doesn't mean you go down a grade, you can lose a pip.

I don't think dlc prices ever drop unless there's a sale. So I doubt RE will ever go down just because.

I thought that just applied to the more unique outfits. Does it apply to recolours as well?
It applies to all rift cosmetics. Whether it's a recolor or a unique outfit does not matter. Although there are some cosmetics from rifts that they've already done the shop releases for that specific rift and they still aren't in the shop. They might be keeping some cosmetics completely rift exclusive.

I'm excited to start learning killers like Nurse and Demo who I'm not good at.
-
I see no reason to stop playing killer. It's going to be an adjustment period, but it'll be fine. I'm just gonna have to keep trying to have fun.
-
As survivor and killers I'm bad at? Yes, I'm happy mmr is finally coming. For killers I actually LIKE to play and are good at? No.
-
Jigsaw Piece and Dusty Noose flat out won't work. Other than that, they should all be working unless, as you said, you got the unlucky 1%.

weve already had 3 Licensed chapters in a row in the past, twice
Bubba/Freddy/Pig
Ash/Ghost Face/Demo
Ash was considered Year 3 while Ghost Face and Demo were Year 4. Bubba/Freddy/Pig was back when Starbreeze called the shots about dbd. Now that BHVR does and Starbreeze is not apart of dbd at all, they want no more than 2 licenses in a dbd year (June to June).

It's a bug, I'm p sure they confirmed Demo wasn't losing his chase music, but I can't find the source so uh... just trust me bro.
I hope you're right because the last thing I remember reading was they weren't confirming whether or not Demo was keeping the music. I'm going to hope I missed something and you're right.

Well, they said the last Blight event was the last one, so at the very least maybe we'll see some new lore or something. I've learned not to expect a new event, though.
Wait, when did they say that?
-
My only real response to this is that it's because it's a license. If the license holders are not willing to give bhvr a survivor (or map) or couldn't settle on an agreement for the price of those, then we won't be getting them. Since that would have happened so far behind closed doors, that is not information they are going to tell us. I highly doubt the devs would have said, while meeting with the license holders, that they didn't want a survivor or map from a franchise they've stated would be like a dream chapter of theirs.

Actually, by the last statistics we got, I believe he was the 2nd or 3rd worst performing killer. Food for thought.
Those stats came out right after he did, also those statistics aren't good to go off because they don't count any round with disconnects and have to go off the pick rate. Hard to see who truly is the best when one killer is being played like 0.9% of the time and another is at like 8.52% of the time.
-
If you have a good snowball you don't need pop so that's not that hard of a decision. As for the argument for Blast Mine, unless you're getting right up against the end of the Pop timer, Blast Mine should not be a problem unless paired with Repressed Alliance. Even against people with Blast Mine, I'm still getting a lot of good use out of Pop. It doesn't need to be reverted.
-
No x4. The hatch should only appear when there's one survivor left or all the generators are done. You should not have the ability to leave in the middle of a match. Also concerning the gates, as others have said, it doesn't matter if the gates are within LoS or not as long as the killer has some level of mobility.
-
I personally don't feel like I've been playing enough of the ptb this time to give a fair assessment, but I think he's low B high C tier from what I played
-
Nope, that has not been changed. You still die immediately.

The only reason a license would meet the same fate is if the license holder doesn't want to renew the license or they just can't ever come to an agreement. I don't think we should be looking at this as a BHVR issue and more a license holder issue (in this case it's Netflix). I wouldn't worry too much about Halloween and other licenses. Also like others have said, they just renewed Halloween, so it's the safest.
Also this issue has always been something to fear. I think the reason we're all thinking about it is because it just happened. However, every time a license is up for renewal this is/should be a concern.
-
I just think this game relies too much on rng for mmr/sbmm to work properly.
-
They've been so crazy when it comes to when reveal trailers actually are, who knows. Such as: Blight and Trickster didn't have a trailer until a week after they released, Twins didn't get one until on release (but did have a few smaller trailers), and Nemesis had one an hour before ptb. So who's to actually say? Maybe I'm thinking of something else then what you're asking, idk.
-
I'm really sad too, I basically started dbd with the intro of Stranger Things because I'm a switch player and it came to switch like the week after Stranger Things came to the game. As much as I don't like playing on Hawkins, I'm really going to miss that map and I'm really sad that Stranger Things is leaving. I was so sure that Stranger Things was eventually going to be a license with a tome and I was really looking forward to those challenges, WELP guess I won't be getting my wish. I'm also gonna miss finding out Stranger Things is getting more cosmetics and what those will be.

Aren't ranks only partially reset though?
When they fully implement mmr, they're changing Rank Reset so that we get rewards at the end of the month based on whatever rank we're at and then everyone resets to 20

Personally, for me, I just never got attached to the FNAF games and am not a fan of them (or the creator but hey I guess separate the art from the artist). If Springtrap and FNAF were to ever come into the game, good for the people who want it. I most likely won't be buying it. I'm also just sick of hearing people talk about FNAF in dbd like it's all but confirmed at this point and it's been that way for years. Also the people who don't think that, but still spam posts about FNAF coming to dbd. For people who like FNAF, that's great that you're passionate about it. However, when I come on the dead by daylight forums I don't want to see, what looks like, every other post being about FNAF.
-
For me, I've always considered a 2k a tie. So to me it's like, why get good at a killer if the best I'll get is a tie? That doesn't feel rewarding at all for the effort I put into a killer.
-
I actually have noticed. When they flipped sbmm back on earlier this week, it was the first time in a while that I had played Huntress so I was initially going against people who aren't great against Huntress. However, slowly over the course of matches, I started to notice that things were getting more challenging. I didn't play enough of Huntress to get to that "perfect" 2 kills and 2 survives ratio that the devs seem to want, but I definitely did start to lose people instead of just constant 4ks.

I'm at Tier 33 currently.

Saw's teaser was a reverse bear trap. They do direct teasers
-
I haven't had the ability to see Hellraiser but now that I know it's most likely the next chapter (what am I talking about? There's literally no way seeing all the teasers that it's NOT Hellraiser), I need to watch it. Since I first heard about it during the speculation about Deathslinger's teaser, I've thought it was a cool license and wanted it in the game.
-
@UncleStabby said:
I have a question. I've never seen Hellraiser, so what significance does the vhs tv hold that confirms it?
I get more Ring vibes from it, personally.
The scene the cenobites start to appear in, there's a tv (similar to that one) with a lot of static that shows flowers blooming. Which is exactly the teaser we got. A tv with a bunch of static kind of showing what looks like a flower either blooming or in bloom.
-
The main reason I don't think it's Jason is because I feel he's one of the few licenses that feels fitting for an anniversary. I don't think they'd put such a major license (at least in these days of dbd) into the middle of the year.
-
Yeah, Ormond, all 5 Badhams, and The Game all look like a blurry mess. I hate it.
-
And we thought Nurse was bad...

I don't think I've ever seen gens spawn that close to each other on that map, that is so weird.
