Can the next chapter please be Candyman!
I like Originals as much as the next guy, but after watching the new Candyman movie, i'd really love to see Candyman in the fog. Would it work? Would the ability be about mirrors or bees? I really hope the Devs eventually bring Candyman into the game

100% Original we already had 2 Licensed Killers
i heard somewhere that both chapter 21 and 22 would be licensed. All though, it might've said 20 and 21...idk, its been a while

Leatherface and Ash were Paragraphs, not Chapters, which means they were released outside of the quarterly timeline.
We've never truly had three licensed Chapters in a row. If you ask me, Chapter 22 is almost certainly non-licensed going off the hints provided in the Anniversary livestream.

I hope we get an original. I started playing mid chapter of 19. So far i've only seen 2 new licensed ones.
Ash was considered Year 3 while Ghost Face and Demo were Year 4. Bubba/Freddy/Pig was back when Starbreeze called the shots about dbd. Now that BHVR does and Starbreeze is not apart of dbd at all, they want no more than 2 licenses in a dbd year (June to June).

Also Leatherface was considered a paragraph simply because he had no survivor to release with, back then there wasnt really a schedule for chapters like we do now

Doc in May 2017
Huntress in July 2017
Bubba in September 2017
Freddy in October 2017
Pig in January 2018
The "Chapter every 3 months" with a Mid Chapter in between was started with The Clown, in June 2018
Tbh I completely forgot Starbreeze had something to do with DbD, it feels so long ago.
Also never I considered the "2 licenses per year" thing, forgot about that too lmao
We're only getting 2 licenced and 2 Original this year
We've had 2 Licences already, Resident Evil and Pinhead
December will be original and March will be original
6th Year Anniversary will then start the cycle and most likely be licenced

Licensed Killers were a mistake. BHVR should have used their creativity and created original Killers with a nod to well-known horror franchises. We have a spindly-limbed giggling edgy anime boytoy as the last original Killer and it's just sad.
Im pretty sure they are paragraphs if they release in the middle of a chapter.

It will not be a licensed character. I am actually hoping for an "old school" horror killer like a Lycan or Vampire.
I can safely say that the next chapter is already decided. Is it Candyman? I don't know, I just know they work on more than one chapter at a time
Behaviour lost his opportunity by not being able to obtain it at this time when his film is finally released.
This game would've been dead a long time ago without licensed characters, I guarantee you that.
Well, right now the game relies on licensed characters so much it goes creatively bankrupt when coming up with an original Killer idea, which is not a good thing, especially when we saw that a license can be taken away.
