Anyways yeah I agree, she needs a nerf. First off, the ability to run fast AND hit a survivor? Secondly, being able to hide your terror radius to cheese free grabs. And finally, Christ... her traps. They literally kill survivors after 2.5 minutes! That's basically base-kit Tombstone Myers.
They need to nerf Pig. Make it so that she can't be undetectable while crouching, Ghostface can't be automatically undetectable while crouching so why can she? She can crouch to start her ambush attack (which allows her to run fast then hit a survivor). And make it so that jigsaw boxes remove traps on the first try.
This is a joke right?

Body is 1 character too short
So they actually did confirm they wouldn't be able to hit their Q2 goal? I wish they had made an official post about this.
-
No, she's fine.

As someone who plays both sides, I see no point to this. Like others have said, many maps don't have breakable walls. I also don't think using Balanced Landing as a reason for why that doesn't matter is dumb. There's I think 1 maybe 2 out of the 36 maps in the game that you can't use Balanced Landing anywhere. There's 12 out of the 36 maps without breakable walls, and many that do, don't require them to be broken in order to play the game properly for both sides. Being able to sabo breakable walls would just be a huge time waster or not even possible depending on the map.
-
Generally off with killer because switch reaction times are horrendous and on with survivor because I was gonna die anyways so might as well do it with faster queue times.

Its not all behaviours decision. Its Capcom's franchise. It doesn't make sense for them to just shove one of their most iconic enemies, the Nemesis into a legendary skin. While Capcom themselves has ended up treating Nemesis like rich scrap they wouldn't do that. Same with Mr. X or... Really any character in RE except survivors because they are not as hard.
That is true, it might not be completely off the table to have 2 Resident Evil dlcs. I just don't think they'd do it.
-
We should be able to go back to only needing a 4k. If survivors just have to complete their objective to get the adept, killers should too. I get way back when when that change was implemented, it felt necessary because killers can just slap on a mori and tunnel someone. Back then, survivor was a little more difficult because if you wanted hatch, you still needed a minimum of 2 generators done. Although now, survivor adepts are a joke. Bring a key, hatch offering and hide all game. Bam. Adept done. For killer? You can do your objective perfectly and still fail to get adept because "Oh you chased a survivor for 15 seconds and it needed to be 16 seconds, SORRY." (I don't know how long chases would have to be for it to be considered okay on the emblem system, just an example).
-
10 outta 10 would do it again. I want more yellow glyphs.
-
What would be better than "removing" or "deleting" a map would be, when they renew the license, to discuss fixing the map for a better dbd experience. Obviously in it's current state, a lot of killers suffer from map traversal to get to gens to whack survivors off them. Also, survivors suffer from map traversal to find gens and unhook teammates.
I know it's unrealistic knowing the devs, but that's what they should do.
-
There's a lot of killers that depend on the terrain being flat, they would have to change that unless they want to butcher half the killer roster (and some of these are weak as is).
-
Pig, Doctor, and Nemesis
Edit: I will play any, but most of the time it's these 3.
-
Maybe next time they won't bring 4 flashlights or just last second switch to make sure no lightborn. Swfs that bring 4 of the same item (usually flashlights) and start calling killers bad, or whatever they exactly said, should really think twice. You're not entitled to get a blind. If the killer sees the flashlights and has lightborn, they are entitled to use the perk they have on said killer.
Also, judging by how you said the round went, they REALLY should have thought twice before talking. Was it lightborn that was the problem or the playstyle you chose as a survivor? I'd say the playstyle.
-
I see like the same 7 survivor perks every game, what are you TALKING about that there's too many overpowered survivor perks compared to killer? Also, I wouldn't exactly say any survivor perk is overpowered. Annoying? Yes, but not overpowered. Also, your argument makes it sound like most killer perks are bad and most survivor perks are good, which is not true at all.
-
I think Chapter 21 being RE Part 2 has always been a stretch. If they really cared to bring multiple Resident Evil killers into the game, they would have chosen a killer that fits easier with multiple re killers.
Example: You can make Nemesis a legendary for Mr. X but you can't do the other way around necessarily (in the case of what Nemisis's power is, you can't)
Nemesis not having a power that makes legendary skins possible proves (at least in my opinion) that they only want one Resident Evil Killer in the game. If they wanted Mr. X and Nemesis, they would have made a power that allowed for the legendary skin to make sense. Besides, looking at a legendary skin vs a dlc, they make more money off the legendary skins. It makes no sense to put out another $5 paragraph or $8 chapter when they can make $15 off a single legendary/ultra rare cosmetic.

For survivor, probably the new boon totem
For killer probably a gen perk of some sort and a hex perk.
The devs do enjoy their hexes, don't they?
-
Technically? No she's not. However a lot of people treat her as an M1 killer because her ambush is only really reliable in certain situations and those situations aren't necessarily in every match and usually smart players can keep those situations from happening.
-
They still haven't put out crossprogression for the platforms they were actually able to say were getting crossprogression. With that in mind, I wouldn't get my hopes up about xbox or playstation getting it. It's just not going to happen if they can't even get it for those they said would get it.
-
I think most teachables like are based more on concept (as @mazoobi38 said) and personality of the character. Personally, I disagree with saying Blood Echo is bad on Oni. All it takes is one to separate from the group or dumb survivors (and we know there's a lot out there), to get Blood Echo to be worth your while on Oni. There are better perks for him though, I'll agree on that. Looking at just teachables I do feel Blood Echo is the best for him.
-
I know the devs can force a perk in the shrine if they want, but I doubt they'd force a perk that's in high demand. In that case, they might be more willing to lower the chance so they can make money off of you needing to buy Blight to get the perk.

Exactly, Scott isn’t in charge of FNaF anymore (at least I think so) isn’t steel wool in charge now?
Although that's true, seeing how far in advance these chapters are started, Scott would have been involved at some point during development if it's the next dlc. It wouldn't be a couple more chapters before Scott wouldn't have been involved at all with it.

I just want a game with 4 megs with a pig mask, and me as Pig. Is that so much to ask for? IS IT?! Meg is free. Pig Mask is free. The math is THERE DAMMIT.
Haven't actually run into a survivor with the mask yet, though.
That's crazy, earlier today I had a match with 3 Pig Meg's. If only there was one more and I was playing Pig

There's only been 1 chapter that's happened since they announced boon totems, just relax, I would think they're coming with either the next survivor or the following survivor.

The event shouldn't be going on. Not even switch has it (we were never promised an extended bloodhunt because we got it on 5.0.2 while everyone else was enjoying it on 5.1.0)

I hope we get some good compensation for this. Ive had to watch my bro enjoy the update cuz we share a room. :(
That sucks a lot, hopefully we do get some good compensation. I've been worried this entire time that they'll give us compensation, but not proper/good compensation for what happened. It sounds like we will, but we also still don't have a number on those bloodpoints or rift fragments that will be compensation. So I'm almost worried to say "We're getting good compensation" or "We're getting proper compensation" until I see those numbers and I see that we actually will be able to get the Greek Week charms/rift fragments alongside compensation.

Makes a bit of sense. If we dont get high intense rewards but get a special cosmetic or something that'd be pretty cool.
If only the devs would compensate us with a special cosmetic! We'd have 3 special cosmetics if that was true, Trapper's switch cosmetic, a cosmetic for the first time they delayed an update, and a cosmetic for this time they delayed an update.

I think we should be getting the greek week fragments AND the compensated fragments.
I would HOPE so, personally what I think is we should get
- 20 rift fragments from Greek Week
- 20 rift fragments compensation
- extra 10 rift fragments for every day past tomorrow that we do not have the new midchapter
That last one I think would light a fire since they wouldn't want us getting too far off of doing nothing but them not being able to get the update out on time. Also specifically tomorrow because after tomorrow, that extra week for the rift means absolutely nothing.
-
That's weird, I got them on my switch except the rift fragments since there's no rift on switch so it wouldn't make sense to give us fragments just for them to be tossed into the void.
-
I couldn't choose one because I am the weirdest person out there. I am extremely introverted yet can make friends with just about anyone (as long as you aren't hateful towards anyone for something they can't change). Pick a survivor, I could probably be friends with them. I'd want to be friends with probably Jake and Dwight out of all of them though.

I haven't got any blood points or rift fragments?
The compensation bloodpoints and rift fragments for switch will be available with midchapter I believe they said
-
The twitter guy already confirmed we will be getting a "rerun" of the greek week code for the charms, we got the bloodpoints from it (which is why we were given 50k most days throughout the week), and yeah we will be able to get the Meg SAW mask. Rift will release with the midchapter release since it would have already started and the rest we are being "compensated" for. Supposedly we will be getting more bloodpoints and rift fragments. Although knowing the devs, they'll makeup the 20 rift fragments from Greek Week and call it compensation.
Edit: If the midchapter releases tomorrow, we will have the same exact amount of time as we usually do to complete the rift since they extended it by a week this time.

Those skill checks give an interaction to the glyphs and I love it.
Stay there for 5 seconds with no interaction and have nothing happen? (Red Glyphs) Boring
Stay there for 5 second with no interaction and then get a debuff? (Blue Glyphs) Stupid
Stay there for 5 seconds and have an interaction that if you fail will move the item to find again? (Yellow Glyphs) LOVE IT
Technically I've only seen videos since I'm a switch player, but idc if they be harder then I think they are, I love it and want more.
-
If the new killer was coming out in 2 weeks, we would already know who it is and we don't. No one knows for sure when the new chapter is coming out. PTB is probably in a few weeks and the characters will release to live sometime in September most likely.
-
Because it's a trailer, I wouldn't read to much into how much sense it makes. There's quite a few trailers that don't make a whole lot of sense if you read into it.

They released a teaser for RE, if you recall.
This is true. However, I believe they only did that because they were part of the Resident Evil stream so they wanted something to show instead of just flat out saying "Btw, Resident Evil is coming to dbd." If they were never part of the Resident Evil stream, I highly doubt they would have released a teaser since, as @Elena said, we haven't had a licensed teaser since 2018 (not including RE's).

The only time I've seen map offerings to feel bs is 4 person swfs, all with balanced landing, offering 4 haddonfield offerings to make sure, even if a sacrificial ward is played, they're going to their map of choice. I do think they have their benefits besides trying to make the other side feel miserable, like Tome Challenges, maybe a new map just released (no matter how painful said map is), rituals, whatever it is.
They aren't my favorite though, they just feel like they take up space. I would definitely like to get rid of them.

The problem with keys lies in the hatch spawn. Hatch should only appear once all 5 gens are done OR if only 1 survivor is left
I agree with this. If a survivor team cornered the gens (since it was an example already given), they shouldn't have the ability to escape. They should have to face what they did until either a gen is done or 1 remains. Then go find the hatch. You failed, you shouldn't be rewarded with 2-3 people getting out with generators still incomplete.
-
Although I understand the want for this, the skins the new voices are for, are for skins we're paying $15 for and were designed to be different characters altogether. Both of these cosmetics, although based on outfits worn by Hoffman and Rigg, were designed to be something Amanda wore (even if she didn't actually), if that makes any sense. In other words, if they're going to do that, I'd like them to actually be Hoffman/Rigg/some other Jigsaw or Jigsaw Apprentice.

Nurse ignores walls, pallets, and loops in general. Blight still has to respect these things, so no. Blight can't be better than Nurse unless they physically gave Nurse a brand new power that just happened to be weaker then his.

A Ghostface doubt a lot, it really depends on the type of Ghostface that uses addons to avoid revelation or closed maps. Else is stronger than Myers in terms of stalking, and is more direct in leaving a survivor vulnerable, but Spine Chill leaves stalkers in lower tiers.
I don't quite understand what you mean. Maybe just by how it's phrased, I don't know.

So he's fun to verse ? I don't care if they make him stronger just make him less ######### to play against
Fun and balanced are 2 different things. Something can be balanced perfectly (he's not "perfect" but fairly fine) and not be fun, while something can also be extremely unbalanced for better or worse and be extremely fun. Not to mention, like others said, the amount of "fun" a killer is is an opinion.
Example: I always hear people talk about Freddy is one of the most boring killers to face, I find Freddy a thrill to go against and find him really fun to face. He's also not balanced and still very strong despite popular belief that he was "gutted." Although that probably comes from a place of relying on his 2 best slowdown add-ons, I never used add-ons when I played Freddy prior to the rework and saw close to no difference post-rework. That goes for playing as him and against him.
-
I feel like Trapper should be in his own tier, he's the only killer that feels truly add-on dependent. I'd put Michael, Pig, and Legion in the D Tier and then Ghost Face in the C Tier. Just my opinion. Other then that, I totally agree with you on the rest of it.
-
I am hoping, they give us switch players, once the update is out, the ability to unlock these charms if wanted. If they do not I would suggest all switch players just drop the platform. Even if they do fix performance, that means nothing if they did it knowing they're about to have a limited time event and not give proper compensation for the platforms update not being allowed to happen while said event is going on. When I say proper compensation I want to make it clear, the bloodpoints and rift fragments, although great, is not proper compensation if they refuse to let us have a shot at the limited time event they would have known was going to happen.
Edit: Also, if we go past a week of no update, we should be getting an extra 10 rift fragments as part of compensation PER DAY WE DO NOT HAVE THE UPDATE. If we go past a week, the "extra week" in the rift means nothing and the rift's time, looking at it in the past, has been designed to do 1 level per day. 10 rift fragments would keep us at that 1 level per day.

Actually I'm not sure but somewhere here on forum one guy posted video how he is still able to get hits through pallet but Surv must have higher ping than him.
So basically it looks like if the Surv hit Space before Killer swing it's already cancelled because Surv was faster but if the Surv has higher ping it's probably delayed and it's possible to hit him same as before.
But idk for sure, I'm playing on 30-40ms and I was always able to down them before they even throw the pallet, only one time I faced this bug when I hear the hit but Surv run away like ballerina without damage.
I thought I saw a mod earlier say the pallet needs to be about halfway down before a hit can be cancelled, but those pallets come down so fast once you throw them, I'm not sure how you would be able to catch where the pallet was unless you were at the very beginning of the animation.
-
@maaadinsomniac said:
It's ping based calculated on server and the annoying scream, hit behind is just a bug. So it's fake hit.
Isn't it ping and how far down the pallet is when you drop it? Like the pallet has to be at least halfway down for the hit to be cancelled for it to invalidate the hit.
