This is actually a good approach to the hatch standoff dilemma. Plus I can envision a cinematic short that a Meg is getting chased, sees the hatch, and since the killer is right behind her, it closes which makes it lore friendly since the Meg saw the opened hatch and had hope of escaping which the Entity thrives off of. Good thinking there bud. Very insightful.
Pros of your proposed change:
1: If the killer camps the hatch, then the survivor can just do the remaining gens and if the killer decides to leave the hatch to check on the gens, then the survivor can sneak over the the now open hatch.
2 It's lore friendly since the survivor still has hope of escape in either case of the killer camping the hatch or not.
3: It'll actually make the survivor play cautious and strategically if they hope to outsmart the killer instead of just having the easy 'as long as I'm at the hatch I'm mostly safe' option.
4: Plus with some tweaks to it, maybe make it so once the killer is in the closing distance of the hatch, the hatch closes like 5 seconds after which would allow the survivor to still be able to JUST make it or be grabbed and taken to their gruesome fate. Which also adds to the overall immersion and feel of what DbD is supposed to be.

I agree. I don't think the terror radius change is a bad change but overall the video was on the money with how the Spirit could be improved.

Just pay the low price of 6.99 to get the band-aid fix that is the Haunting Grounds Perk from the Spirit which is a weak killer.

So what is this problem? That people think that a character in a video game is sexy? Over the years of gaming there has been countless titles that have had 'sexy' undead characters and no one had an issue with those. Like I think the skin exposure on the Spirit actually adds to the creepiness. Seeing skin that's blue is unnerving. Like I don't think it's an issue for people to find a game character sexy. And what about the people that find Huntress sexy even though she's a demented killer? So just because she's not undead it's ok? I just honestly think this 'problem' that you're trying to dig up is nothing more than a personal problem if anything.
Please, I've never played such a game and I'm just pointing out that the game I've been playing has that problem. I would point it out again if it was another game I was playing. And I've always thought there was a problem with sexy undead. When they gave her sexiness, I wouldn't say anything if they gave breast bouncing to male character who has big breast. Blue skin is not a problem. The problem is she looks like a corpse and gives her sexiness. And many articles already say she's sexy. Huntress doesn't look like a corpse, and Huntress doesn't wear only a few bandages like her. It's not a problem to tell her she's sexy. There are already quite a few comments about her problems that I have written about, to say my opinion is personal.
So. In other words. This is a personal problem for you to deal with. Gotcha.

I did. I quit on the 13th. I've played DbD since before Nurse came out and I just had enough of the imbalance and every season I got to rank 1 as Trapper even before the buffs but when those rank 1 survivors would show just how biased the game is against you as killer, it just takes away any excitement and ruins the overall experience. I'm still sticking around the forums since I love DbD's concept and I also still hope that the devs will properly balance the game one day. But then the spirit came out with her perks being band aid fixes for core game mechanic problems and then I realized my hope for them to balance the game right seems to be pointless. But I still choose to hope. I just also chose not to be on the crap end of the balance this game has for playing the role that was originally advertised as the power role when it actually isn't.

I've watched his birthday stream and he said himself that he needs at least a week to make a decision since players need to learn how to play against him and for him to get more accustomed to her. So this video is irrelevent since Tru3 himself said that he is unsure. Since seeing how the Spirit's power works I confidently say that the Spirit is garbage in her current condition. Like I would say make it so survivors are visible when within close range of the Phased Spirit.
