I doubt it. I don't think any killer in the game will ever have a higher ceiling than Nurse, nor higher potential than Nurse, especially when she's using double range or recharge add-ons.
Though she will absolutely be a killer with a high ceiling, that I don't deny. I just don't think anything in this game will ever try to challenge Nurse for her crown.
Neither anything challenge Artist for her crow.
-
Survival should be all about skill, and skill check to go to Survival point. Gen point should be double.
There are little thing like pick up Pallets, Build to last ect also go for Survival.
-
Im not so sure if this is @Myla
This was Solo.
-
Trapper:
Pros: hearing random scream is music to my ears
Cons: the plant is dying
Spirit:
Pros: playing as her
Cons: cant see her while playing as
-
The vote is stalled. Not so good for the Blue gift.
-
After updates of maps, Trapper has nowhere to place his trap. I dont even know how to use his power, especially Crow map.
I dont know why they nerf maps on Trapper so hard. I may consider playing Artist., but not sure if I will main.

Using 1 Hex force survivors to find that one Hex of 5 totems. You can usually see totems lay around, but only 1 of them is Hex.
Using full Hex, expect them to see every totem is a Hex. Especially there are always at least 2 totems being out of nowhere.

I play survivor more and feel Boon is quite OP and annoying. Boon gives alot of utilities than just the main benefits it give.
I rather to have blessing time dropped to 7sec, make no noise like Hex, and have the perk disable if Killer able to find Boon and disable it, permanently
-
Each has their own taste, I like vs Pinhead and like his design for how he's quite weak in chase but has build in slow down. Pinhead is what other Killer should be. Long chase is what make a match fun, that without being hurt from Gen rush.

The fact they are playing solo and not using kindred means they are.
This just similar to saying not using Calm spirit when vs Doctor is stupid.

Not true. If you know how to make loops unsafe and also on midwitch you can hide traps at the stairs.
I play 90% Trapper as Killer playtime. I know every little things that supposed to hide his trap, either half of it or completely sink under them.
Let me list all of them:
- MacMillan: nothing change, still remain his best realm for traps.
- AutoHeaven: broken glasses at windows in Azarov or the Crane, used to hide his traps under them, no more. Used to have alot of grass, reduced greatly with new update
- Thompson: doorstep in Main building of Cowshed was able to hide his trap, the doorstep is removed with new update
- Crotus: Father Campbell - outside stair that lead to the door has some dust, used to hide his traps under, no more. Asylum is greatly buffed with those mud inside Main building
- Haddon & Badham: the house with basement and a Gen there, the stair used to hide traps, no more.
- Badham: Main building with 2 entrances, one of them had a doorstep that hide traps, no more.
- Swamp: nothing change
- Lery: suddenly the map really bright with survivor graphic update, there is no place to set traps.
- The Game: low floor supposed to be dark for traps, now its bright with new update.
- Red forest: nothing change
- Yamaoka: Family residence - there are pillows in Main building used to hide traps, no more. The collapsed stair next to the vault has debris that used to hide traps, no more. The small temple/house outside, their stairs used to hide traps, no more.
- Ormond: Snow used to hide traps, no more.
- Hawkin: Debris at collapsed walls used to hide traps, no more.
- Saloon: nothing change.
- Midwich - Racoon: zero grass, relied on few dark places
- Crow: zero grass.

Hard disagree.
Nurse is hard to top, she is the undeniable best killer in the game, she has great map pressure, and has the best 1v1 in the game, she ignores looping mechanics entirely, and if you go against a good Nurse, you are almost always guaranteed to lose unless your survivor team is comp level.
Blight is also, hard to top, not only does he have great 1v1, one of the best 1v1s in the game, he has the best map pressure in the entire game, which is undeniable, he moves so fast, and counters arguably the strongest playstyle, that being holding w.
Spirit, is nowhere near either of these two after her nerf, without her busted addons she had before, she suffers greatly. Her basekit being nerfed, ie actually being given counterplay is a big hit top her viability as well. If you want to even remotely compare her to Nurse or Blight, we have to assume she is using the mother daughter ring, her strongest addon, even then it's still an uphill battle and I think that goes to show how out matched she is here.
The Artist, while strong, is no where near these two. She has great 1v1, some of the best in the game, this is hard to argue against, but your one way of counterplay against her is holding w, which is were she suffers. She has to deal with this and suffers greatly from it unlike Nurse and Blight, her map pressure while decent is also nowhere near as great as Nurse and Blights. She's more comparable to Pyramid Head, not the top tiers.
All in all, Spirit and Artist are very good killers, but they aren't the best, far far from it.
He means two best waifu material Killers, not Two best power Killers.
-
Despite Trapper just got alot of buff in his kit. But the maps are no longer help him. All the door step, stairs, Ormond snow, Autoheaven glass wreck...supposed to hide half of his trap. Everything is completely removed now.
-
I would have the item cost 5000 BP with 1 charge. And have 1 charge addon for 3000 BP. It rather come with "a box" that you dont lose item if charge is depleted.

I've actually thought this for years. Surprised they haven't made a killer that utilizes the fire pits on every map for warmth from a killer with a cold power.
You could also use the fire pits for a killer that plays with darkness, "The Boogeyman". The light sources on the map are safe havens from when the killer causes a black out on the map.
I believe they would add something else unique to vs the Killer than having those fire barrel, something like Fountain,Jigsaw, Clock...
Locker is everywhere, but fire barrel is rare.

In regards to this I did a search and found this:
Searching Japanese surname Yui brings up this: Yui (ゆい, ユイ) is a feminine Japanese given name which can also be used as a surname, and rarely a male name. Yui can be written using different kanji characters and can mean: The given name can also be written in hiragana or katakana . Yui Hirasawa (平澤 唯), a character in the anime and manga series K-On!
Searching Japanese surname Kimura brings up this: Kimura (written: 木村 lit. "tree village") is the 17th most common Japanese surname. Notable people with the surname include: Arawa Kimura (木村 現, 1931–2007), Japanese footballer Arika Kimura (木村 有香, 1900–1996), Japanese botanist
I think its safe to say BHVR tried to be authentic but made a mistake?
Edit to add that searching Japanese name Kimura, or Japanese given name Kimura also brings up the same results and I cannot find a mention of either Kimura being used as a first (given) name, nor Yui being used as a family name.
Yes I think they made a mistake. As in Character select, their names are Feng (last) Min (first); but its Yui (first) Kimura (last)
Should either using their correct form: Feng Min ; Kimura Yui
Or using English form: Min Feng ; Yui Kimura

I believe it depends on the language you are using the name in.
So Yui (first) Kimura (last) is Kimura Yui in Japanese because they write their names that way round; but in English, Japanese names are used in the same order English names would be.
I'm pretty certain of this but I could not swear to be 100% correct; hopefully someone else can clarify.
Chinese names are used Family (surname) Name, First (given) name.
So in English it should be Feng MIN, whereas in Chinese it should be MIN Feng.
https://culturalatlas.sbs.com.au/chinese-culture/chinese-culture-naming
The image of Alt name. If you have it googled, the first word is Feng and second one is Min. So its Feng Min. As how we always call her.
But what you should call her in short is Min, not Feng.
-
Confirmed, Chinese name is just like ours and Japanese: Last-First
Google translate this, it gives: Feng-Min. So her correct name is Feng-Min. Where Feng is her last name, and Min is her first name.
The translate also gives Feng means Phoenix (not Wind). Sorry because both word Phoenix (Phụng) & Wind (Phong) sounds similar, I made a mistake.
-
@VolantConch1719 said:
Min is her given name, while Feng is her family name (or surname). In most Asian cultures, family names go before their given name. As far as I know, China is the only one that doesn't switch it around when leaving their country (see Yui Kimura for example, the Cursed Legacy trailer uses it the proper Japanese way, but it got switched over for us).
The wiki probably changed it (erroneously, mind you) to be more consistent with the other characters, but Feng Min is the proper way to write it.
Wait hang on, so Chinese name is Last-First or First-Last?
Because we Vietnam has it Last-First

Ah- I see, so Feng Min would be the correct form?
Min is her last, Feng is her first name.
Min Feng is the correct one. This name is also a legit name for Vietnam (Minh Phong). Though the name suit for boys more to my culture.
-
Feng is in Feng Shui, means "Wind - Water"
As for my language (Vietnam) is Phong - Thủy
Our names have it "Last - Mid - First". Because VN and Chinese cultures are similar over 50%. So yes her name is Feng (wind). And last name in Min (insight)

Think about it, if there is a Survivor that have all perks about "teammate gets benefit when you die". Killer is likely to ignore you...

I don’t know why some people need to feel powerful in a video game.
Everyone has a need to be powerful, dominating at something, somewhere.
When one cant be powerful in life, they need to do it online.
-
Hope 4 hooks spread equally around map. But I saw 2 Pumpkin hooks spawn on the same side in Azarov...
-
I agree the game should have something that encourage to injures multiple survivors than chase down a single one.
Since each survivors have their own resources (perks, item). Its better to keep chasing a guy to completely deplete their resource (DH, DS...) than break the chase and 1min later go back to him being healthy with DH ready.
Further more I play fair and often DS hurts me more than other players who tunnel. Chase one down, hook, chase again, eat DS, chase again hook, then remove one permanently. I dont tunnel so I dont get any DS through the match, but in EGC, I take multiple DS because they're not yet use any DS.
-
I thought crouching can dodge the crows, but I was wrong. The best one is if you notice she's setting up crows. Use that moment to W away from loops. Just like Trapper doing with his trap at loops.

I couldn’t understand half of what you wrote, bro.
For example:
”You can see for Survivors, decrease Gen time on Survivor isnt that great.”
This is an erroneous statement, since “decreased (less) gen time” (you forgot the D at the end of decrease) is better for survivors.
Also: “if default Gen time from 400sec increased by half to 600sec”
While you’re not technically incorrect, a clearer statement would be to say “default gen time increased by 50%”. Saying something increases by half isn’t the common expression.
Why is the guy banned?
"Less Gen time for Survivor", certainly its great. But the perks dont do much unless everyone use Prove thyself, Resilience and paired with 4 Toolboxes for great result. Other than that, what I mean was using another 2nd chance can buy more time for teammates than using Prove thyself.
Thanks for your time : D

Bro your grammar took me for a spin here.
Im sorry, if you can pls output my grammar mistakes for improvement.
-
Survivor relied on:
- Longer Chase time (Exhaustion)
- Decrease hooks happen (BT & DS)
- Decrease Gen time (Resilience, Prove thyself, Fast track...)
Killer relied on:
- Shorter Chase time (skill use of powers)
- Increase hooks happen (tunneling)
- Increase Gen time (slow down perks)
You can see for Survivors, decrease Gen time on Survivor isnt that great. The choice for Longer Chase time & Decrease hook may actual save much more time. For Killer, Shorter chase time & increase hook is kind of "build in", only Increase Gen time requires using perks. Of course 4 slowdown will be always the meta.
Pinhead has build in slowdown, but doesnt mean he should not use 4 slowdown. The more Gen time, the better.
4 Slowdown has potential of increase Gen time by another 400sec (800sec total). And eventually, if default Gen time from 400sec increased by half to 600sec, I swear people will keep using 4 slowdown. Why would people not using 4 Slowdown to increase Gen further from 600sec to 1000sec?
-
@GannTM said:
Well of course killers can’t have a build variety. That would just be illegal.
To be fair the perk increase the cleanse time up to 21sec. Thats enough for Artist to use power, having cool down then use on survivor who doing Hex.
Thrill of Hunt should have cleansing speed increase applied on Dull, but still give noti on Hex (protect Dull, info Hex). As the opposite to Undying (protect Hex, info Dull)

And this is the first map with bumpy terrain, and it's super bright. Damn
I noticed the 2 doors from shack can completely hide traps, but I highly believe its temporary that they're not yet put platforms on those doors. Just like those little step from the house with basement in Badham/Haddon, pillow in Yamaoka, snow in Ormond ect, all of those were able hide half the trap, or sink it down abit.
There are also some bumps that able to hide traps. But they're middle of nowhere.
-
@jesterkind said:
I think Trapper should get to have his traps lightened or darkened appropriately for whatever map he spawns on. Kinda blue-y lighter traps for Gideon's and Ormond, sandy traps for Coldwind and Eyrie, etc etc.
I feel it doesnt work, even if the color is exact the same to the map environment, the ground isnt a single color. I will always pop out if there is no grass (unless its complete dark like Midwich stairs & Racoon toilets)
@Phasmamain said:
Just after they buffed him too. Trapper can’t catch a break
Its like buff Legion feral frenzy speed to 200% but has to be exhausted before M1. Alot of traps for him, but no place to set.
@HealsBadMan said:
The main building isn't bad, but the outside is disgustingly bad for him. You have to rely on putting it in an out of sight area and hope they aren't paying attention.
The traps are generally dark, the map is noon time. There is no hope "they arent paying attention", its so obvious. I dont find any good place to traps at main buildings too. Its abit dark on some places, but thats it.
@dugman said:
How does he play if you switch to more of a zoning strategy with the traps on that map? Use the traps to block anticipated strong vaults and pallets in a zone, along with add-ons that keep them resetting. The survivors will know where they are if they’re paying attention but still have to disable them to make that vault usable.
Obviously still not an ideal map for Trapper, but maybe he can still do ok doing zoning versus trying for surprise hits?
You should not always use Iri stone just incase you get into a map with no grass. The vaults have no grass on both side. They will just disarm it.

A survivor messing with boons is a survivor that is not on a gen. It only hurts you when you ignore the boons.
Sometimes you have to ignore. Midwich & Racoon are those special map. For Swamp map that there is always a Totem spawn at a corner, if killer take a lap around the map boundaries for that one Boons, he's already lose.
-
@Bran said:
boon totems are strong if you let them use them. you'll know whn one is active so play against it. simply put
To be fair I have no problem of Boons in Macmillan, Autoheaven, Coldwind.
Indoor maps like Game, Midwich, Racoon is ok since its hard to find totems on both side.
Swamp however. 2 totems That guarantee spawn under rocks that is no more a secret that bad for Hex. There is a totem spawn along the map boundaries. If Killer pays a min to take a lap around boundaries to find that Boon. Hes already lose the game

Cute art!!!
My first requirement is violence- the more sadistic the better. There's some exceptions but the top 5 are the most grisly and evil Moris ingame, that's why I love them so much.
Myer has 2 versions of picking survivor up to mori. Or grab them from behind and tombstone while standing up. Not survivor standing up then he grabs to mori. It adds more realistic depth to Mori.
I agree all Mori should be more violence. But fighting back and realistic is my higher priority.
Myer, Legion, Pig are the top for me. Even if Myer is so simple
-
Stab from behind is really bad for me (Freedy and Spirit). Along with mori that survivors standing up.
Struggle, fight back is the best (Pig and Legion).
I suggest them to change Spirit Mori that just slash them right on the floor instead of standing up.
Trapper and Wraith are nothing but spanking.
-
- When there is no where safe to run, hill is kind of the final hope that perhaps able to trick killer to drop on a different side of the hill. As killer is coming and you pretend to drop but not, trick him not to go up hill and buy sometime. But its never work when Killer is right behind. Its just a habit of doing so.
- Killer has bigger hitbox, hug tight to a rock buy more time than W. Occasionally Killer will hit the rock instead.
- I never do it, I dont know.
- I never do it.
- Blind right after flashlight isnt BM, its still a game mechanic. Most of the time its better to have a healthy survivor flash light for you being injured to go away. Or Flashlight when you're not injured so you can walk through killer and run to opposite direction. If not, its mostly for more BP. Drop pallets, stun, blind is 1700 BP.
- Many survivors failed to calculate. I only body block when I know there is a chance that killer will drop survivor from wiggle. I had 2 healthy survivors body block killer for me to the hook. But I was like 5m away. I still got hooked. And suddenly Killer had free pressure from 2 of them injured.
- I never DC unless I have something else to do right away
- Also a fail to calculate. If 4 survivors still alive, its better choice to crawl away so killer cant find you, and have a teammate pick you up. If you're down and killer chasing the last one, its better to stay on the spot and recover.
- I dont tbag, but I will flash light for BP, and walk to opposite direction, if Im healthy or with Ironwill.
- For survivor earn around 12k-15k BP per match, means you should at least have something equal to those BP and bring in the next match. If you dont bring any items, you will never deplete it. I always have at least a brown Medkit / Toolbox in.
