Double pallets still spawning has been a thing for years but as more and more people are streaming and recording we're seeing it more often.
Still incredibly rare, nonetheless.
Personally I take screenshots everytime I come across one, it's like finding a Unicorn
-
Double Pallets can still spawn on some maps
It's gross
-
I still can't get over how much Claire from REmake 2 looks like Zoey from L4D

How does changing its rarity make it less powerful?
Because at least it being as strong as it is makes sense?
It drastically changes how Hag works, just like Mint rag does (another exceptionally strong addon)
-
We need the vending machine re-added as well, I'm convinced they've removed it
-
Make it ultra-rare
Make water-logged shoe purple
That'd be my suggestion
-
Pig
- Power punishes survivors for doing their only objective
- The playstyle I often see used is not fun to go against
- RNG is also not very enjoyable
- I've come across some pig mains who seem to have chips on their shoulder, for some reason.
- I don't find the memes around the character that funny either
-
I say that's not enough, we need:
Dream Chests.
Dream Windows.
Dream Totems
Dream Items
And finally:
Dream Perks.

The same thing happens with Blight's lethal rushes and Oni's demon strike, it is dumb.
Do you happen to know if it happens with Demo too?
-
I love Surge in general tbh
Not sure if I'd go as far as to call it underrated but the fact it works through Ruin is sweet.
Also the perk icon is cool.
-
This is not okay...
-
With the introduction of AI (Zombies) it's feasible we might see a legion rework in the next...Century ish
Jokes aside, it'd be cool if they incorporated the other legion members somehow, make them feel a bit more unique than their current state
Not that I hate current legion or anything, I just wish there was more to them
-
At Rank 1, EU region: Wraith, Blight, Huntress and Bubba
Those are probably the 4 I've faced the most the past month
-
Yeah to be honest, my problem isn't the Wraith it's how people are playing him
Said this on other threads but, I think it's fine to not find a playstyle fun to go against or to find it boring without saying the Killer needs to be nerfed or whatever.
His pickrate has def skyrocketed, at least in my region
-
I missed this guy like you wouldn't believe
Been following him since I stumbled across his old sims videos
Glad to see he's still the same old chap.

I bought laurie merely for her decisive strike and they nerfed it, having this as dlc is no guaranteed protection from being nerfed.
Halloween Chapter has more content to it, two characters and six perks.
Leatherface was a paragraph
Also the thing about DS, it was a highly problematic perk that was abused by a lot of survivors for a very long time. The only problematic thing about BBQ is how necessary it is if you want to speed up the already ludicrious grind
-
BBQ is like the one perk that will probably never be touched
It's a perk to help with the grind, there's no way in hell they'll change it. It sells DLCS, people legit buy Bubba purely for it
They also had an oppertunity to change it when they changed Cannibal's perks and they didn't, so I wouldn't worry about it

I think Oni is the best designed killer. He's well balanced while also having a strong power. He also has really good addons.
The worst designed killer is the Twins. Their power can be either really strong or very weak. Their addons aren't that great, either.
Def a big agree from me
Oni's power is ridicously strong, but he has to earn it. It creates a fun back and forth and it's not impossible to counterplay either because of the way it works
Twins is by far the worst designed, the concept is one of the most unique in the game but in execution it's a clunky, poorly balanced mess of a power that wasn't even finished on release. They didn't even consider survivors using lockers against Victor, that addition was an afterthought.
-
I remember, thinking way way back to old freddy, people used to say he was a 'worse wraith' because they both had to use their power in order to actually start hitting survivors
Not sure if you agree with that comparison but, yeah - that was OLD wraith too, before he got buffs and maybe before he got better addons (?)
-
New animations on launch needed work, they are much better now
The only thing that sucks about them is the fact that survivors have no head turning animation when crouched, it just snaps
The new animations also gave us the new and improved survivor nodding. A nice crisp 12 fps nod
-
I've seen a lot of TTVers lately as well, the ones I've come across are genuinely nice and pretty chill even when the match didn't go their way
Props to those who pursue streaming as a hobby/passion.
Also yeah the only complaint I have about streamers with DBD is the ones who just tell people to join the stream in lobbies/EGC.
Like I'm playing the game, can you not.

Hmmm interesting. Thanks for the replies!
I was initially opposed to the change in the new film but overall I guess it doesn't really change much. I think maybe even the less "motivation" Michael has, the better. Some people are just born that way.
In my opinion, Michael being motivated by nothing but pure evil and obsession is much more satisfying as there's a lot of fear in the unknown
I think the sequels wanted to expand more on the characters so they added the sibiling route to raise the stakes
Halloween 2's not a bad film though, a worthy follow up to the original.
-
They are only from Halloween 1, pretty sure
it being revealed that they were related wasn't until the second film. It was also retconned in Halloween (2018)
-
I've always thought the logic for Killer mains wanting soloQ buffed was so that killers could get massive buffs as well
Like, if the survivor side was consistant in terms of information then it's easier to make killer stronger, right?
Not sure I completely agree but I think that's why you see people like Scott advocating for SoloQ buffs, because that would also mean more buffs for killer in theory.
-
I'm on team Cursed Legacy in terms of overall quality
Amazing survivor, Amazing killer, not a half bad map, fun perks although not the best - perks are probably the weakest part of it.
Silent Hill is a close 2nd though.

Her footsteps while phasing don't make a noise and she doesn't move grass or corn.
Not sure if it's a bug or intended because many times before I would hear her footsteps/I'd see grass/corn moving
Maybe it was patched out idk

Do what I'm gonna do
Run Haunted Grounds instead of Undying for a while
You'll get the bones, but at what cost

You been to Blight town one too many times?
Me too.

LOL some of us really hate that map, don't we?
Let's compare the pros and cons:
CONS:
- It is profoundly ugly. Muck, muck, muck, and more muck. Black everywhere.
- The design, while semi-unique (it's basically just an inverted Crotus Prenn asylum), is little more than a crater. You either hang out on the outer periphery waiting for a chance to go completely expose yourself, or you go completely expose yourself.
- Only a couple of decent places to hide, lots of shabby and ugly places that you can just get a short loop around.
- The map shows up WAY too often. There are 35 active maps in the vanilla game right now, why do I get this one five times as much as half the others?
PROS:
- None whatsoever
Pros:
Footstep noises make playing Spirit even easier
-
Personally I ship any and all survivors with those hooks that are scattered around the maps
Just don't ask what happens to them when they go on their third date.

But isn't that the exact inverse situation vs iron will when you aren't prepared for it, where the killer doesn't know where you are and there is nothing they can do about it now they just have to guess
Survivors have scratch marks, blood and (when the game works) footstep noises. Not to mention you can use your eyes to physically see where they are, provided they didn't break line of sight
All you have vs a stridor spirit is...Sometimes footstep sounds and grass moving?
Iron will has no real 'counter' because it robs killers of information but on the same page that doesn't mean Stridor Spirit is suddenly okay either
-
Add him and we can have a full squad of cop survivors
Tapp, Hooper, Cybil and Leon
-
The counterplay to Iron Will is Stridor/Insta-down killers and perks.
People complain about Stridor Spirit (rightfully so) because the Spirit knows exactly where you are and what you're doing and there's almost nothing you can do about that. You just have to guess
-
Supposedly the recent tome has teased a vampire character of some kind
Can't find good image of him but it's on the archive cutscene thing

Those are no rumours. In the last PTB, all existing legendaries got their own in-game portraits and had their names replace the names of the original characters while in the lobby. And while I can't go into too much detail, but yes legendary skins might also be getting voices and new portraits for the character select screens. 😉
I've seen what you're referencing, i'm pretty sure they don't like it when people talk about leaked content/datamining on the forums
-
There's also some rumours that legendaries are getting their own voices alongside their own portraits and so on
Hopefully that comes with the RE chapter
-
I thought this was just his TR music wth
You're telling me it's actually 32M?

McLean has a section in his discord called "McLean fix it" where you can post bug reports. I think he actually asked on stream once for people to collect clips of slidey surfaces and such so that he can work on them when he's able.
So if you do end up doing such a thing, perhaps try going there.
Thanks for the heads up! I don't use discord but I'm sure if I made a thread here someone would be kind enough to post it there
That is if I end up doing it, still not sure
-
I'll typically always give the last survivor the hatch, I tend not to discriminate based on who they're playing but if I have the last two survivors downed - I'll usually give hatch to the one who I think played the best or the one I might've bullied a lot throughout the match (like repeatedly slugging them for example).
However I also have a weakness, if a survivor does something funny I feel inclined to give them hatch. For example - This one time, the match had just started and this survivor was clearly doing their archive for opening chests. I approached them and they got off the chest for a second then continued opening it in front of me.
I let them finish and then downed them after they opened it.
No mercy for map offering gamers though

No. There are no good Tricksters because they're all playing Huntress.
People who are good at huntress aren't automatically good with trickster though
Their powers are different in terms of control, output. The result might be the same i.e a survivor taking damage but most killer powers are 'x happens and survivor takes damage'
-
If I face one infectious fright Nurse, I instantly will equip calm spirit and keep it on for like the next five matches
I hate infectious fright Nurse with a passion

Well if the top %1 of Tricksters aren't very good at Trickster, I'm not sure if their opinion of Trickster should be that worthy of being taken into account.
Do you perhaps have any examples of what a really good trickster looks like then?

Happy Anniversary to the DBD forums #1 resident Yui fan!
For all it's flaws, DBD is one of those games that I feel I've got my money's worth and then some. Truly an experience I'm glad to have been apart of. The game at its core has only gotten better and not worse, still a lot of work to be done though as there always is.
I hope you continue to find many more hours of enjoyment with the game.
-
I've seen a lot more DCs lately and I mean a lot more, my survivor games, killer games and even a streamer I watch
I think making it slower to suicide on hook just made people go back to DCs again but that's speculation
Anyone else notice this or am I just crazy?

it's true it's a massive difference, I could remove it but I have 50 of those and since they are so good I have no reason to take it off
I'm not saying you shouldn't use it honestly, addons are there to be used
I just wish his basekit felt good to play so that addons didn't feel like a necessity. Kinda like Trapper and old Wraith but not as bad as those two
-
Silent Hill for me
2nd favourite is Legion's menu theme, love it
-
The green USB addon drastically changes his power, not trying to discredit what you're saying but it does make him much more tolerable and easier (not in a bad way) to play well
You might think 'oh it's one less knife to down, surely that's not a massive difference' but when you factor in the oppertunities you have to pelt survivors with knives, how many of them can be avoided by survivors playing well and moving side to side and the general increase of speed/pressure it gives you, it's insane.

@Bloodshade made a megathread about blight's issues on console and within about a month (and maybe a bit) most, if not all, of these issues were fixed. i think it's worth it.
Oh no that's not what I meant
I mean worth it for me to go through every map and try to figure out which surfaces are the worst. It'll probably take an eternity. There's also some weird inconsistancies where sometimes you slide and sometimes you don't.
-
Honestly I'm debating making a big mega-thread documenating the worst surfaces (and maps) for blight but I'm not sure it'd be worth the effort and suffering
