Personally, I think the cooldown is required due to snowballing/slugging killers existing. Nurse, Oni, Bubba, Blight having surge trigger on every down would get too oppressive I think
Special attack activation condition would be great, though - it'd make it a lot more fun to run on other killers. If Eruption can have it trigger on any down, Surge/Jolt can too!

No matter what happens, regardless of opinions on balance, monetisation, decisions made by the developers etc
I have to say that DBD as a project turned out extremely well in terms of turning from this little cute indie game into the monster it is today.
The game, it's developers and the community frustrate me at times but I've gotten my money's worth from the game and I plan to stick around until it stops being worth it.

Killing even 1 survivor can still give you MMR depending on some factors
Now, I'm not encouraging anyone to game the system but you could just go for as many hooks as possible which usually won't net you kills. So you could do that or you could just play for BP and not protect generators/run slowdown.

I always thought it was one of those harmless dbd jokes that players and content creators alike acknowledge for a laugh. You know, Quentin and Nea being goblins, Dwights being cowards who hide in lockers, Megs being...Megs
I mean search the word blendette on YT and you'll see tons and tons of content creators using it in that way. Far be it from me to say what people should/shouldn't be offended by but I don't think when people say blendette they are being harmful or inciting hatred of any kind.
It's best not to project intentions onto people who say it, since most would see it as a dbd meme. A funny name for a character wearing certain clothes and the memes surrounding that character being hard to see.

- Most killers being reliant on a select few perks to stand a chance at having a game that's not over insanely quickly, Corrupt Intervention is the main one that comes to mind here.
- The fact that 80% of the games perks (on both sides) are still mediocre, garbage or outclassed at what it's meant to do. E.G Why would anyone run Gearhead when Tinkerer exists (Gearhead being a DLC perk whereas Tinkerer is free with Hillbilly)

I think talking about the names of streamers is okay as long as it's not negative (towards them I mean) or naming/shaming? I mean he's a fog whisperer afterall so it should be okay to mention him in the context of a post like this

Here's another fun thing I noticed about pallets:
It's possible to cancel a killer breaking a pallet if the survivor is constantly spamming the pallet vault (I do this against wraith) and while this is happening sometimes the game starts the pallet break animation (where the pallet shakes when it's kicked once) but then the pallet obviously isn't broken

I've noticed this too
What I believe is happening is:
- Killer swings at pallet, and during the swing - their hitbox/collision model takes the spot where the survivor is meant to be when they drop the pallet
- Since the space becomes quickly occupied, it cancels the drop animation
You can notice this with Wraith more than anybody since he's the #1 body blocker.

I wouldn't call myself a Trickster main, but since his buff I really enjoy playing him. I wasn't the biggest fan of his design and theme on release and I'm still kinda 'eh' on it but hopefully the upcoming tome about him will flesh his character out a bit more.
I wish his weaknesses were addressed a bit because his power is really fun to use.

Here's another weird thing I do
I only put charms on hooks that I think the killer I'm playing would have
E.g
Trapper has the bear trap, macmillan sign
Wraith has his bell and the autohaven wrecker tag
And probably my favourite - On myers I just have the blighted pumpkin and nothing else.

The survivor he stabbed wasn't the one who's aura he saw. The bill was not the person who's aura lit up, It was in fact the Dwight who was hiding closeby. I know this because looking at the perks on the endgame showed Dwight had the perk 'Object of Obsession'.

Not completely true
Pretty sure Otz used hag to secure kills against some of the bigger comp teams out there in scrims/in BOTB.
iirc he didn't win the match due to tournament rules, but he managed to get 3 kills out of it. Not bad.

I don't think Hag is underrated anymore, I think most people know she's strong in the right hands by now. It's just not many people play her due to her playstyles being very different and arguably less engaging than others. It's subjective. I sometimes play hag as a change of pace from the regular chasing killers myself
In my opinion - Plague is the most underrated killer.

I've heard that this happens when the map has the lowest amount of pallets possible since the amount varies. Sometimes the map can spawn lots and sometimes a lower amount
Map RNG once again being the bane of balance.

I like licensed killers when they pay a lot of homages to their source material - Nemesis having zombies is something I was very surprised but also very happy to see. They might be buggy and inconsistant but the fact that they included them because it's Resident Evil was great.
Same with Pinhead - everyone always wondered what would his power be if he was added and I have to say what they came up with is pretty good. Could be better, but it's clear there was a lot of thought and passion put into it
Old Freddy was also an example of this - he was very accurate to the source material even if his power was... I won't say weak, but let's call it imbalanced. New Freddy's power is much better in terms of meta but...It's boring. He's Demogorgon without Shred or Clown with a gen teleport. Uninspired.
Myers is the gold standard though. He may be on the weaker side but his power is incredibly fun to use and go against.
My problem with original killers is when the developers make powers for characters that are bland or, once again, uninspired. Legion is 100% the biggest offender here. I love their design, their backstory and all of that but their power is just quickly injuring people and having good tracking. That's it.

Some people would rather wait 5 minutes then stay in a certain match
the DC penalty system doesn't keep track of how many times you've DCed, only how many times you've DCed recently meaning you can still DC a few times and not worry about getting a long penalty.

Current going theory is that the license holders gave bhvr the finger and said that only people who own the nft will be able to use the licence alongside other benefits, all of which will be different from nft to nft to make them unique. This could include skins, voice lines, or whatever.
Only thing that's weird about this whole voiceline debacle is
Chatterer is allowed to make sounds when he teleports, they are unique sound clips only he has
it's perplexing, I wish we could know what's going on with this whole voiceline thing

Think about it for a moment right
- If it was a bug or a glitch that caused the lines to be removed, then they could literally just say that. They acknowledged this question in the Q&A too with a non-answer
- It being complications with the license holders is possible, but these chapters are made MONTHS in advance, there is absolutely no way the holders didn't know voicelines were gonna be a thing. The only way it makes sense if this is the reason would be if they didn't like the community making memes about the lines but, let's face it, why the hell would they give a damn? It's not like they made Pinhead say something he doesn't say in the films (or well, almost)
- If BHVR themselves had problems with the voicelines, again they would just say it. Their community managers/Devs clearly have no problem referencing unfunny memes so why would this particular one be an issue? Their twitter is literally spammed with unfunny memes all the time so... yeah.
I don't know if I find the whole NFT thing disappointing or outright hilarious

The blight comment stands out because during release he wasn't all that great for a few reasons and then he got buffed over time. Nobody can say that his low pov was good at the time.
