I think being undetectable hides Trickster's lullaby
For some reason

But why is the survivor supposed to go down? If it takes catching them at the next loop, I don't see anything wrong. The perk helps said survivor live a few more seconds?
Doctor power is actually anti-loop so when timed properly there is no counterplay.
The counterplay to doctor is the same as the counterplay to 70% of the cast
Go to strong pallet, press the space bar and force him to break it. He can try and get you around it by spamming his power but he's wasting more time by doing that and he doesn't gain bloodlust
If doctor really had no counterplay, he'd be very popular - but he does, so he's not.
-
It's a good perk, not amazing on all killers but here's a handy list of all of the utilities the perk gives:
1) Shorter attack cooldown during chase, while yeah they can still make it to pallets they won't be able to loop them as effectively. They're usually forced to drop it and if the pallet isn't completely safe that's another potential hit for you.
2) By proxy this perk saves you time when you down a survivor, as it lets you pick them up quicker. Not huge time saved, but it is 100% noticeable to the point I've been able to tell the killer has this perk just by the fact they pick up so quick after a down
3) It works while carrying survivors which punishes altruistic teams and sabo squads who try to bodyblock hooks. On the same subject it makes taking hits for teammates really risky because at high stacks you likely won't make it anywhere
4) It makes camping extremely easy, even with a few stacks you will 100% guarantee a trade and with high stacks you will make unhooks impossible. This is one of the biggest points in the perks favour and where I see people get the most value out of it. Sometimes you need to camp someone out and secure that kill so minimizing the risk of trades is immensely useful
Also helps dealing with BT ^ Almost forgot to mention that. It's a free stack
5) When it comes to Power usage: Quicker attack cooldown = Less time being locked out of your power. This is why people like it on Demo (although it is a bit overrated on him now) but killers like Doctor and Pinhead are perfect examples. M1 with pinhead, recover fast, use power and they've barely made it anywhere using their speedboost.
Or Hag, a STBFL hag is one of the scariest things you can face and she will make your life hell if she has traps + many stacks
6) It's sort of a soft-counter to survivors who play safe and heal a lot - the stacks will reduce the pain of having to hit survivors twice. Not massively but I'd rather have STBFL than not against medkit squads or COH.
I think that's everything I can think of
-
It's some kind of bug going on, I'm guessing it's a console crash issue or something?
-
That would be a nice buff actually. I really dig the idea
They make it so when unhooked, Resurgence clears you of any healing related status effects. They could also make it so this only happens if you are unhooked by somebody else to prevent people being able to abuse this with Deliverance
-
I think as long as you get to p3 you'll get it?
I don't think being p3 50 matters
-
Good hag trap placement can make a chase extremely short and downtime minimal
You can go straight from hooking someone to your next chase in a flash
-
It's not coming with the dredge update
It'll likely be the midchapter that's scheduled for July/August time

The thing I hate about lgbtq representation is they beg for someone to be <insert letter>, they get one, I hook them and they call me racist/sexist/transphobic/homophobic. You wanted representation in a horror game. Did you think I was going to give you special treatment? I'm treating you the same way I treat any survivor. Can we just play the damn game?
I've sacrificed so many survivors either wearing the pride charm or playing David
You know how many of them ever said anything like that?
0.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen there's some really silly people out there but I don't think it happens enough to be considered an issue. Maybe 1 in every 20,000 survivors would say something like that. Probably not even that
-
Regular Blight has counterplay
Even some of the obscure techs do have things you can do, it's just not knowing about them that's the issue and I can't really blame people because they're so obscure and some of them are based on really silly things like sliding and stuff - stuff that if you just play using bump logic only you typically won't come across
Alchemist ring is too rewarding and removes part of the counterplay to blight - which is removing his downtime after a hit. Obviously this isn't 100% a comparison but I like to imagine it like a purple Nurse addon that gives her both blinks back after a successful attack. Same sort of logic
The speed addons are weird, I don't dislike them as much as I used to but I still think they make Blight incredibly hard to react to since they reduce survivor reaction time and only further enhance some of the weird things he can do. Maybe making them not stack or reworking them entirely would be a good idea.
-
I just like not having to worry about getting a heal when I'm unhooked if I can get it built up
There's always that risk of you being unhooked and either the killer comes straight back or there's no time to heal. It's also a decent anti-tunnelling measure after they buffed it to 20 seconds. If you can just hold w and make it to a pallet you can usually always get it to go off and now you're in chase at full health.
Also doesn't deactivate DS which is a bonus
-
You can't really go wrong with Huntress, she seems to be the most addicting killer of the whole roster - you ever notice how in the stats her pickrate is always the highest? She's def got a really good skill ceiling to learn, a lot of potential to use perks (She can use perks like gearhead effectively lol) and she is so satisfying overall
I don't play her myself because projectile killers are hard.
I prefer Demo/Pinhead because they are hybrid killers where m1 is important, but mastering their chase power is equally as important.
-
Interesting how DBD/BHVR had RE4make Leon's model months and months before the actual game was announced
Anyone else kinda fasincated by that?

I only take issue when these kinds of things are ham-fisted into media, if Behavior didn't make a giant announcement about David's sexuality and just kinda put it in there for people to find out I wouldn't mind, gay people exist, no need to praise to discourage them.
While I agree to a certain degree, I don't blame BHVR for announcing it since it was something people have been requesting from them for years. Getting it out there to the people who had been asking was likely the big idea behind announcing it.
Although I do think it would've been cool to wait until after the lore was out, since it would've had a surprise factor to it but it's not super important at the end of the day
-
The filter has some weird 'contextual' thing that tries to detect certain things or certain patterns I'm guessing? It's probably censoring certain words because they are 'flagged' as being work-around for other slurs or something like that
I'm pretty sure there's also some kind of 'personalisation' to it because some people can say stuff and not be censored but others can.

Criminally underrated perk
Windows of Oppertunity is an extremely common perk these days (In 80% of my killer games lately at least 1 survivor had it, if not more). Kindred as well, very common
This perk just makes these 2 great perks even better. Kindred especially because not only does it give you more info, it gives your team more info too and helps everyone play better overall
-
Just wait till you read Nurse's tome lore
-
We used to have something like this
They were offerings called 'splinters' and you would burn them and it'd let you play a round as them
BHVR removed them though probably because they'd clog up bloodwebs of newer players, especially these days with so many killers.
Presumably other reasons like encouraging people to buy them or use their shards etc. There was even some splinters for licensed killers like Freddy and Pig I believe?
-
Favourite Legion mixtape and member?
-
If Oni was out to get me, nobody would be able to protect me.
That being said if I had to pick one Killer that stands the highest chance of beating him I'd pick:
Original: Spirit. Maybe putting family against family would give me some kind of advantage
Licensed: Pinhead, hands down
He has a team of cenobites at his disposal, an entire seperate realm that he's essentially psudeo ruler of and as far as I know it's very tricky to actually kill a Cenobite if you're not one yourself
-
A lot of the same reasons people hate Bubba:
If you're in the open against this killer, you're basically dead before you make it anywhere
If they decide to camp you, it's very hard to get out of the situation if you're the one hooked. Basement is super strong for this killer when main event is involved.
Without certain perks some tiles are very hard for them to win, which is why some Trickster's run Bamboozle (A perk that some people really do not like)
-
I'll just go with the flow
If survivors wanna keep trying, have some good chases and stuff sure
If they wanna farm a bit i'll go for it, help them do some archives or whatever
If they want to just go next I'll do my best to get them killed asap so they can
Playing solo survivor really gives me more empathy for survs I go against when this happens and I don't blame killers who just try to end the match asap bc when I'm playing survivor that's usually all I want. I don't get why some killers prolong these matches for no reason though (By slugging people unnecessarily as an example)

I was thinking of a similar change to NOED: it applies to a dull totem once all generators hae been completed (no more activating off hatch close!) and the Entity blocks all pallets and windows (not sure about the 1 window in Dead Dawg tho).
Honestly Claustrophobia (aka Cruel Limits) should do that lol
I think I suggested that before, when the final gen is done all windows on the map are blocked for a minute or something like that.

hex:blood warden is something I've always wondered for how effective it would be for blood warden to be hex totem.
Honestly another endgame hex perk would be cool too see since most of the ones we've got recently (While not terrible by any means) were more focused around either totem defence or were unique spins on the totem mechanic itself like rekindling or plaything
-
Recently I mixed the white witch/plague doctor looking head (The one with the beak) with Doctor's old White lab coat from his tome. The cane weapon as well of course.
He looks like an SCP character and I love it.
-
I don't think this should be a basekit thing but
It's a neat idea for a new endgame totem like NOED though. Like imagine if there was a hex that lit up when all gens got done and it had some kind of effect on the exit gates/exit gate area.
Or, here's a random idea
'Survivors who are dead on hook cannot leave the trial while the hex is up'
Would b cool
-
We've all been there.
We all go there from time to time as well, some of us are there all the time
-
I was kind of surprised the Solo Q improvements weren't mentioned in the anniversary
Sorry to hear that your games haven't been going so well.

Yeah
They haven't said that's changing

I dont think thats the case
Since he did manage to capture Nemesis at one point, and don't even get me started on Pyramid Head..
As cool as that is I don't think Blighted Nemesis/Blighted Pyramid Head are 'canonical' so to speak
-
I like to think the reason we don't have a Blighted Oni skin is because he's too powerful for the Blight to capture
-
Don't forget stealth is a thing
Nurse is a slow killer outside of blink, she doesn't have the time to fully search an area like a 115% might.
Outside of auras helping with landing blink attacks, tracking perks also minimize stealth play which is why most Nurse players run at least one tracking perk of some kind if not multiple
Also one trick that I'm trying to master is learning which objects the Nurse simply cannot easily blink through and use those to your advantage.
For example: On most macmillan maps there are 2 pieces of geometry that spawn that Nurse has a hard time blinking through easily, those would be the big pile of wood logs and the water tower. You can run a Nurse around these for a decent while if you're decent and make a good read or two.
-
I'd say maybe wait for the potential changes to Iron Will before buffing Spirit
Making her 4.6 would make getting the first hit on a survivor easier, at which point survivors are very easy targets if they aren't an iron will user - which to be fair, a lot of people are these days.
I see 3 DH IWs in a lot of my killer games.
-
They fixed it the other week and it's broken again
:(
-
Usually during the endgame if I'm dead on hook, Killers are way less likely to check lockers when there are gates to be protected
Or if I'm running Flashbang

Shadow Step just seems like a better perk at keeping people hid but If you like it that is awesome
Yeah shadow step is better at hiding survivor auras and scratchmarks
But shadow step doesn't hide generator and hook auras, for example. This is where I think it'll come in clutch.

Seeing your teammates scratchmarks can give you an idea of where they've been and where they are generally going. It gives you the same ability to track survivors as the killer has innately so the idea is probably to give people more tactically useful information in the moment. It's not as exciting as Nancy's Fixated perk as that gives you a 20% bonus to walk speed and shows you your own scratchmarks which aids in stealth play and generating misinformation.
Makes sense in theory, but
Bond is a thing? Like Bond is 100% perfect information and has an even longer range (36 vs 32)
Survivors don't need to know where each other have been, really - all that's important is knowing where your team is and what they are doing so I really don't understand the point
It's like if Killers had a perk that showed the auras of hooks that survivors have been previously hooked on or something. I just can't wrap my head around it lol

Literally terrible perks she Is this super strong psychic and they gave her Quentin Smith type perks they must be out of Ideas
The flashlight pharmacy + Killer blindness perk is actually an idea i really like. Making a killer blind to auras for a bit could really come in handy, especially when it comes to people who love to sabo or do breakout plays.
Overzealous is just stupid. Originally I thought it stacked (As in you could keep cleansing totems to increase the % your repair speed was increased by) but no it's a flat 6% which is the same as spinechill I think
-
If any changes are being made we might hear about them in the coming tuesday since that's typically the day BHVR is most active in posting announcements and stuff like that.
Haddie's perks are a bit odd though, I can't wrap my head around the one that shows you the scratchmarks of your teammates. Like...
What's the practical use for it? Anyone know?
-
Some people have said disabling the in game steam overlay reduced it
Personally don't know how much merit this has though since Otz did it and his rubberbanding seemed to get worse recently.
I've noticed the rubberbanding happens a lot when someone dies on hook, idk if it's just a coincidence but yeah
-
In the new system 'inventories' (perks, offerings, addons) won't be reset
And no the prestige change won't be June 7th, it'll likely be sometime in July/August time since that's likely when we'll be getting a midchapter
-
#Democomehome 😔
-
Any survivor wearing a christmas cosmetic out of season
Mostly Dwights though.

Landing a perfect possessed chain to cancel the box being solved
👌
Definition of a pure refined dopamine hit right there
-
Thing is
I don't mind Nurse's M1 applying to stuff like sloppy butcher and the like since she HAS to use her power to get hits, unlike Blight
But at the same time I'm not happy that her M1 works with exposed - making her the best user of Haunted Grounds, Starstruck and so on
Starstruck Nurse is one of the worst experiences to go against imo
-
Run the increased movement speed while throwing knives addons.
You'll notice the difference in chase 100%
-
There's a few things
I sorta miss the Farm maps being dark, I actually like the daytime aesthetic we have now but something about the darker farm maps just felt atmospheric. Probably just nostalgia talking
Doctor's pre-rework model. They updated his base model but something has always seemed off about it compared to the original. I don't hate it or anything I just think the original looks more 'DBD' idk

Funny coming from a survivor
In my experience, 90+% of the matches where i 4k, nobody says a thing
Funny enough, 90+% of the matches where i 0k i got "ggs"
Go figure :)
To be fair, a lot of the times when you 4k, it's highly unlikely you 4ked all the survivors at once. Most survivors don't have a reason to stick around in the game after they've died since they could just ready up and get into the next one instead of waiting
Whereas when you have a 4 man escape, they're all in the end screen at once

No I have not but that’s because I really haven’t played much of the Resident Evil games since I only got into resident evil cause of Nemesis. I alsoI thought I tried to play Nemesis’s game and the other popular ones that a lot of people keep talking about. Also the only one I played was a little bit of Resident Evil 6 since only because that one seem the more appealing and also felt a little better to control since the older ones that I could find felt a little messy so I thought I tired the new one s and remakes because I figured they may feel better to play.
Would recommend it's a rlly amazing game
-
Have you played the Resident Evil 1 Remake as well?
