This seems like a road to eventually implementing fall damage for Survivors.
Balanced Landing being a Perk to negate it. -

I dont mean to be "that guy" but I'm gonna one up you.I was playing Freddy. 4 gens done and I walk up on almost complete gen with a victim on it. I put her to sleep but she just keeps working on the gen. She completes the gen and takes off. 1 second later shes asleep and laying in the dying state due to NOED.
No worries, i made this in the hopes of others sharing their versions.

Nice job doing that! -

People reaching rank 1, who then do nothing for months, and who then come back to still be rank 1 is also kinda stupid.First of all, it shouldnt be so easy to reach rank 1.
Imagine playing a competitive game and casually grinding yourself into the highest leauges (grandmaster or whatever) in a single week.
LOL,Dota, csgo and all other players would laugh at you
Yeah, it shouldn't be that easy indeed.
And you shouldn't be able to stay there by doing nothing either.Yeah it would be nice to have a proper ranking system like other competitive games, but then they would need to offer a casual mode too.
But assumign they would do this, we would have a serious problem. The problem is that only the good survivors would be able to rank up, they would actually need to tryhard, play SWF etc.
Those games would be very annoying/frustrating to play as killer (except nurse).I guess most players would abandon the ranked mode soon because of the balance issues and play casual instead (pretty much like now)
Geez, is this what it's like to try and make a sort of competitive, asymmetrical, multiplayer-only videogame?
Almost makes me feel bad for the devs.
Almost... remembers the Howling Grounds patch -

- NOED activates and i down them in 1-hit
This was satisfying asf.
I would love to see the survivors face during that moment. any chance that it was a streamer?

Heh sorry, i only remember it was a Bill and it was mid ranks.
But the reaction you imagine is probably what happened.

Huh? Didn't they already do something about it?
Y'know, allowing it to be used, and the opposite party will have to accept it's part of the game like how Killers have to accept unfun stuff from Survivors. -
Haven't had a Wraith daily for a week now.
Been playing only him lately. -
I sometimes get rank 1s & 2s in my low/mid rank lobbies.
It's due to SWF. (Apparently.)
As if i didn't despise that mode enough... -

It was just a thought.
Ofc it will never come reality because survivors prefer their easy way hammering space bar / activating a macro instead of hiting skillchecks
I play Survivor too.
My spacebar still works fine, but i'd rather take the method that decreases the risk of wearing it down, a.k.a. skill checks.
Seriously, not necessarily you, but if someone were to open one and announce it here, i'd sign it. -

Seriously though, Killers have "the perfect Balanced Landing" because they're the power role: If they're gonna have something that's similar to an ability of a Survivor, naturally, it'd be a better version. -

Sucks that you're bored, but you're not restrained to this game.
In fact, go play anything else, it should feel refreshing.
Yeah I just want other people’s opinion on if they’re still having fun or not. Thanks for the reply
I personally am still having fun, but i DID burn through my "addiction" after roughly 1.500 hours.
Since then i've slowed down VERY hard, playing other games more frequently than just this game.
But it's how i keep it fun.1 thing that never helped keep it fun for me is the community.
(Not you guys, unless you tell me your Steam name and then i see you talk ######### to me ingame.
)
I mean sure, you got all these people who at least don't talk ######### on forums and streams, but they're in the VAST minority, and some of them are probably fake too: Pretending to be nice in forums and streams, then shitting all over others in the game.
Gg's are very common to me now, yet there's always 1 person who either just can't stand losing in a videogame or has heavily overcharged their ego from winning.
What Not_Queen said on stream once, talking about how we're all playing together, lol yeah: We need eachother to play.
But personally, i never feel the way she does. I feel more like i'm signing a contract with my archnemesis whenever i open or join a lobby.TL;DR
I can have fun, but not the same way as i could for the first 1500 hours.- I NEED other games. If i play this for the entire day, i'll get more tired than before and probably uninstall it.
- I NEED to avoid communication ingame with others. I can only take so many death threats from high rankers who joined SWF so they could bully low/mid rankers.
-

You know, so you can actually SEE what you buy.She does.
For about three seconds during her idle animation, but if you look closely, it is embedded in her hand.Right, i know that, so i'll be more specific...
"You know, so you can actually see what you want to buy ALL THE TIME instead of 3 seconds."And it embedded in her hand for the rest of the animation is silly in this case.
That's like someone presenting you a 20x20 cm piece of t-shirt, then asking you if you want to buy the entire shirt or not.Just make her have her weapon out the entire time once you get to the Store>Spirit>Weapon section.

This proves what I said before: unhooking needs to be an all-in interaction. If you start it, you can't stop it, period. It'll stop Survivors trolling each other like this. I'm already on the hook, I don't need your trolling to go with it, and I certainly don't need Devour Hope to get a billion tokens.But...But i want the 666 Token reward: To blow up your PC.

There's a bug that, if someone doesn't complete the unhook action, you'll still get a Token.
So then you got that second one for them completing the second attempt.
Unless they never got unhooked, that would make it a whole new bug.
Is in other words they messed up and I got to Mori 2 people that looped tebagged and flash lighted me the whole game because they messed up cool
Basically.
Devour Hope has the most accumulative power a Killer Perk can have though, so enjoy the bug while you can. -

Except anyone grouping up is a witch. -
Skill Checks would be a great replacement.
But until that's a thing, you're now intentionally going to screw over your fellow Survivors?
I mean you're allowed to, but it's kinda douchy and you gain no rewards for doing so.Been playing the game since beta, never used a macro.
Admittedly, i enjoy Killer more. But i play both almost even.
So far, my spacebar is totally fine. -
Can we make the Spirit actually take out her weapon in the Store?
You know, so you can actually SEE what you buy. -
I got Rotten Fields yesterday.
shrugs shoulders -
I read the title and my mind jumps immediately to this thought: Isn't everyone whiny there?
Seriously, every time, when i make my way towards red ranks, the chat is more and more used to whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, no matter what role they played.
And, since there's more Survivors in a match than Killers, well, you can guess who whines more in my experience. -

And if there WERE an option to turn off music during the trial, i'd turn it off in a heartbeat. (For the purpose of being able to hear movement and stuff.) -

You know, the evidence that you didn't present.
Can't really say no to no evidence when you yourself present none of the current situation. Or, well, you can, but you'd be a hypocrite. -
I don't hate it. I don't think it's a masterpiece, but not hate.
The music's purpose is to make it harder to hear stuff. It's intended to mess with your detection capabilities.
If you're annoyed by it, it's doing what it's designed to do. -
I'd like to see this Perk gain Tokens every time you hook someone.
Once you have [VALUE] Tokens, the Basement hooks become strong enough to skip 1 hook phase per Survivor. -
Alrighty.

I wouldn't call them jokes anymore, we're not infiniting anymore.

Because if they were under 18, they'd have to go through getting slashed, hung on a meathook and get stabbed multiple times.
Most countries don't like that.they wont be sued but censored/restricted/banned, wich is not that bad, but still financially horrible for a company.

What if you have 3 resets, but they were from the beginning, which is almost a different game by now?
In my opinion, I think 3 rank 1 resets will be enough for you to qualify because rank resets every month and I feel like for you to actually know what's wrong with our ranking system that you have 3 rank 1 resets (3 months of experience). Instantly reaching rank 1 doesn't make you a instant veteran, you gotta play there to understand everything. I'll be honest, when I first reach rank 1 a long time ago, I thought I knew everything about Dead by Daylight but I was wrong, WAY wrong. It took me around a half of a year to completely see the flaws of Dead by Daylight and that's why I don't want inexperienced players. Don't get me wrong, they can voice their opinion without the requirements in my OP but it may not be taken seriously if it's obvious that they don't know what they are talking about.
I first reached Killer rank 1 without even knowing you could lunge.

What's your opinion of a FNaF/Robot killer?EDIT: It doesn't have to be FNaF, I just put that there because it seemed like they would group in with the "robot" category.
No. Don't even start talking or mentioning FnaF. Robot killers would be impossible to balance since robots are basically better humans and they should be twice as good as a survivor...now imagine a thing like that being boosted by the entity
I mean, twice as good as a Survivor means it'd be as good as 2 Survivors.
Shouldn't a Killer always be better in at least a 1v1? ;PBut are they? Nope xD That's why every survivor would cry and make the community even more split and cancerous.
But they should be, and a Killer representing what should be would be a great start.
Yes. And every sane player thinks like that. Too bad most of the survivor mains don't think like that and start moaning when a strong killer is introduced into the game.
I can see where your coming from. Strong killers are a touchy subject among survivors (for obvious reasons), but most survivors should HOPEFULLY agree that 1 survivor should be weaker than the killer. If they don't agree to that, then they have no right to help balance this game.
There's an idea going around for a while now that DS should just stun the Killer, but not free you from their grip.
While the Killer's stunned, they wouldn't be able to walk or move their camera, and they'd be susceptible to being blinded while in this animation, successfully freeing the grabbed Survivor.
It could also be used to stop the Killer at a pallet, so an other Survivor has enough time to pull it down. While i'm uncertain if this idea would be "the ideal solution to make literally everyone happy", my point is that, what it would do, is reinforce the idea that you'd need some help to overcome the Killer's advantages over you.
Is there still an obsession mechanic to this? If so, what would be the difference between using as the obsession vs. using it as not as obsession?
Longer stun time for Obsessions i'd wager, to give Flashlight people more time.
They tried that and concluded it'd make SWF even more powerful.
Am I the only one who doesn't find FNaF funny or scary? TBH the robots look like something out of a child's drawing, just "creepy" dolls with big teeth.
I don't find FNAF funny or scary.
JUMPscary at most.
