Oh no the twitter 3 heads who think j flicking is cheating are on the forums now.
They both have counterplay, so I don't care about it. It does nothing but increase the skillcap of versing and playing blight and oni, which is almost never a bad thing, and it most certainly isn't a bad thing in this situation.
Spoken like someone who loves to abuse a mechanic and doesn't want anyone taking away their fun. It by passes the intended design of the killer. Therefore it is abusing a game mechanic which is a reportable offense. Thats in a nutshell what cheating is.

So is it just hit boxes or is it the fact that Blight as the worst chance of hitting i can have the most precious shot ready and some how miss then other times actually hit someone also i think they need fix the fact that i can be using his ability some how instead of hitting a wall slide next to it and not enter the slam state
Brother I have dealt with what you are saying for a long time and only recently learned what the problems were. For one if you are using a controller it's hopeless you will miss even straight on stuff sometimes. For 2 you have to run into the person 1st and then you can even hit them when they're slightly behind you. But that hit Box only appears for a split 2nd when you 1st hit the button

From what i've heard PC Oni players are able to flick their demon strike more than the intended 90 degrees if they use very high sensitivity or something like that
Very high dpi not sensitivity. There's a difference

Ight so. Filthy Killer Main here with 5.2k+ hours, Just wanted to give my two thoughts on this "Exploit" that people keep on referring to, Now i want to say that. Imho and truly My opinion, I don't think it's a Actual exploit due to the fact that there's alot more survivors that exploit more things than Killer
Don't Believe Me? Well there's still the Window tech some Survivors can do. It's basically they can fast vault a window when it Shouldn't be said fast vault, There's plenty of Youtube videos that shows this in Action,
Stretch Res: Need i say more?
Not being able to be picked up on some parts of the map: This was patched out at one point but came back Recently, It happens on just bout every map / Every Gen, (Including Basement corners on the bottom of the stairs)
Swf: (This one is a joke. Don't sue me)
Survivors abusing multiple bugs whereas killers can't: Wake up bug. very odd Ds bugs, (The one i'm referring to is When a survivor hits ds but gets hooked. You hear the sound but it doesn't do anything. then when you get downed again and you just get picked up and get instant saved by nothing, but the Ds kicked in to restun the killer)
the Sabo Exploit: https://clips.twitch.tv/NimbleResilientAlpacaWow-54sQh_9EJYorFI5h (I had to do said exploit just to get this clip. i am not innocent in this either. Sue me)
There's alot more i can say for survivor exploits. But when killer's get an actual thing that's changes the skill, People complain bout it
TL:DR Survivors have alot more exploits than Killers. with some exploits i agree they patch out. (I.E Infinite Legion) But when a new thing comes out for the Killer that is "Intended" and changes the skill between good onis / blights and Bad ones. and i say, Leave it in the game.
(I'ma get sued for this...if all else fails @GoodBoyKaru is here with pictures to calm people.)
OK but it's not actually a 180゚ for either of these killers

Perhaps I'm missing it on the forums, but have we heard any word as to the priorities of BHVR are going forward with the game? I know the Realm Beyond reworks are one such thing, but other than that, I haven't been able to find much else. Has there ever been a roadmap of some kind posted by the devs for their upcoming plans?
Actually right before kovid happened they had a literal graph but that was around the time of the Freddie rework.
Ever since the virus though they seem to have retreated to their homes and don't have the coordination for anything else.

It isn't. It, quite genuinely, is not. It's a horror game about fending off animatronics haunted by the souls of either children or an actual #########' serial killer before they murder you by stuffing you into an effective pressurized iron maiden.
It being popular with children is doubly an effect of it being simple and easy to get into and it being popularized by youtubers with a predominantly young fanbase-- IE, purely a matter of circumstance. The animatronics were made with uncanny valley in mind-- but put out of the context of the game, they're pretty dopey-looking because Chuck-e-Cheese-like animatronics are literally meant for kid appeal.
Ratings mean nothing, kids can get into anything. I was playing World at War back in 4th grade and happily blowing the limbs off enemy soldiers without a care in the world, is a WW2 game for kids?
Look, you can find any number of better reasons to not like FNAF. I'll understand. But if you wanna take the wine-tasting critic route of "oh, it's not a horror game, it's for little babies", I invite you to take a trip outside your own ass for a minute and give me the exact pound-for-pound parameters of what you need before you're allowed to be a real horror game.
If you guys consider that horror that shows how easily scared you are.

Dude, I'm over 18 and still can't play FNAF because of the goddamn jumpscares getting me every time. Does that make a child?
Or am I just the sprit of a dead child or adult maybe; encased within a horrifically life-like Animatronic human body?
Are we all just rotting dead flesh on the inside and simply inhabiting a rusted metallic shell, made under the pretence to inspire entertainment? Or were we a part of something much sinister?
One man's twisted desire to kill spreads out to all of us like a disease. We're screaming to be released in rage and fear, but all you see is a dead machine. Void of life and crippled beyond repair.
Lights flicker, broken limbs twitch; the machine awakens and the screams start anew...
*Ahem* Well, we went a bit off track there folks. Sorry about that. As said in the job description you'll be staying here for the night...
In short, if you look deeper into the lore of FNAF you'll quickly realise that it isn't for kids.
Yea well aesthetically it looks like a kids game. Can't help you if you're scared if that silliness

If that's your argument, you do realize they're already in this game right? Like almost all of the killers seem willing to kill children but specifically Huntress hung children until they suffocated or starved to death and Freddy was murdered by a mob of people because he was a child killer (and in the original script he was a child molester).
No dude I mean child content. Killers for kids. Spring trap is for kids. This is an adult game.
-
@LazyPayday said:
Let's get this out of the way first, this is not a post begging the devs to add SpringTrap to the game, this is a discussion seeing why people disagreed and why people agreed with the idea of adding him. I want to make this discussion after the endless amount of posts about it so it doesn't affect the decision of those who choose to reply. Another thing, please don't use the argument of "the fandom is bad or cringe" (as it is separated from the franchise) to explain why you wouldn't want him in the game, but if your argument is that it would attract those people to DBD then that's fine then.
Now to start, personally I'd like him in the game however I could see why many wouldn't want him. Fnaf sent waves through the horror game community and other than the fan-games and maybe Terminator, I can't recall many robotic killers as iconic as they are. I have a feeling that the idea of him coming to DBD became so popular so quickly before dying off was due to the devs breaking their "no non-human killers" rule with Demo. I was personally indifferent until I saw this video on him and thought he'd look amazing to both play and play against as a P3 killer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ydlylGay94&list=WL&index=129&ab_channel=KentMansley
So take to sum it up, would you want him in the game, why or why not?
Please no kids killers in an adult game

Hi, as I've said on a previous thread, the MMR is affected by various factors in a match and it will decrease/increase as necessary. But we are not giving out what these factors are right now however. We want people to play matches as normally during this test.
Why do they think we want super sweaty teams and all that tension every single match? It's nice to have a lower skill team here and there to break up the tension.
-
@JinSime said:
For what I noticed so far, if you're doing ok as killer, you'll get harder matches, but if not, you'll get easier ones (this I what I noticed from the streamer I'm watching).
If that's the case, trying harder and harder will only get you harder trials. I wanna try playing Plague tonight and see what the outcome is. Maybe it's just coincidence what I've been seeing so far.
Sometimes it's nice to have an easier game to break up the tension in intensity. Why do they feel that we want super sweaty teams every single match?

So first the Binding of Kin chapter was probably the most atrocious chapter to have ever been released with tons of bugs, and a killer that wasn't even fully polished with an also very underwhelming power released with it. You can rate the Twins as good as you want, but their could have been so much more that the devs could have done to make them actually fun to play. Now fast forward three months later we have the All Kill chapter with a Korean popstar pretty boy who went psycho, who uses blades to injure survivors. But the catch is, it takes eight yes EIGHT blades to literally injure a survivor and down them. Like who even came up with this idea!? So far as it stands the new killer is rated the absolute worst compared to all other killers in the game, you'd be better off playing Trapper with no extra trap add ons. This is truly disappointing to see two killer chapters in a row disappoint, I know the new chapter has yet to release but as of now it's very disappointing.. Also don't even bother trying to submit feedback going forward on PTB, you'll just get ignored like a woman breaking up with her boyfriend. Devs ever since the disappointing Halloween Event if you even want to call it that, what is going on with the decision making over there at BHVR!? The pot of greed cards are starting to be blatantly obvious to see...
Wall of text but yea I agree. Pray for licensed chapter next

It's so annoying that developers still won't make use of all the features of the current controllers. Huntress and Deathslinger would be so much better on console if they implemented the gyro aiming on the Dualshock and Joycons. Or hell even making 180 degree (Or 90 degree) camera turns with a push of a button, or a proper auto-aim system that actually helps instead of ######### you over.

@Kyledbd said:
In the current state of the game the killer doesn't really need to get 4 kills to win but 3.
Once the 3rd player dies the last survivor regardless of how many generators are left will be presented with the opportunity to either go for the hatch or the exit gate. But unfortunately, unless playing against an absolutely terrible killer you can just forget about either option and offer yourself up to the killer as a free meal.
The killers additional speed and freedom to roam the map without the need to be cautious allows him to always find the hatch faster and usually before hooking his 3rd survivor. This always leads to every game ending the same way. After downing the 3rd survivor the killer carries the survivor and hooks them somewhere close to the hatch making sure that even if the survivor dies immediately they will be able to run to the hatch before it opens in order to be able to shut it Immediately. If the killer still hasn't found the hatch they usually leave the survivor on the ground in the dying state while they go look for it or until they can down both final survivors together.
This style of gameplay allows sweaty killers to gaurentee that nobody ever escapes through the hatch since it doesn't matter if the survivor finds the hatch right away as long as the killer gets there before it opens its as good as closed.
Without the hatch being an option the survivor only has 1 option left, the exit gates. Unfortunately the game decided to present survivors with the following challenges. A timer counting down to your death, the gates being so close together the killer can practically camp both of them in 98% of games & those darn lights that not only let the killer know which exit gate your working on but how close you are.... because of this deadly combination of endgame challenges its pretty much impossible for a survivor to escape through the exit gates.
Let's say you choose a gate and get there safely. You begin working on the gate and get it halfway. You know the killer is coming so you hide and to your surprise the killer didn't see you. You assume you can wait for the killer to leave and repeat the process over and over until the gate opens then leave... but those darn lights. The killer usually goes back and fourth between gates until he starts to see the lights and a smarter killer waits till he sees 2 lights. At this point the killer knows which door you are working on. At this point the killer already won. Because of the dumb timer you now don't have enough time to sneak away without being seen by the killer to the other gate to completely restart your efforts and also can't continue with the gate you have so it's game over.
I think it's dumb that after already getting 3 kills the killer is given such a huge advantage over the final survivor to the point that the killer usually just trolls the last player. I think that any killer who is able to get 3 kills should instead be presented with a challenge to get the 4th survivor making it more of an accomplishment.
I believe one of the two changes should be made:
1) the exit gates don't show exit lights and the doors are always on opposite sides of the map
2) the killer can't close the hatch
In both scenarios the timer is still active
You must be kind of new ,huh? About 500 hours?

So it really says something if a purple add on was needed to make him even remotely bearable to play, now we dont even have that. This is equivalent if BHVR decided to get rid of the windstorm add ons for wraith without adjusting his base cloak speed at all. It's why so many people asked for the ricochet part to be base kit and to lower the amount of knives to 6 or even 5.
They have to fix that problem 1st buddy and then they can start buffing him

So hello again and I am back with another change concept, this time for blight, and with this change it would make his rush, or at least his 5th rush a bit more interesting and dangerous.
So when your on your 5th rush, instead of it being a basic hit it would instead send survivors into the dying state.
Note that on the 5th rush instead of Blight holding his cane, he would instead use both hands to hold the cane to his side as if he was to break down a barrier. And unlike Oni when he holds the weapon on the back of his solder, Blight would make the top of the cane face frontwards.
When Blight does down a survivor with his 5th rush, he would automatically refill 2 out of 5 of his stacks.
Also when on a 5th rush, similar to Oni, you would have no collision to objects.
But also when Blight does land a down on his 5th rush, his fatigue state is twice as long, but that's only when he is on his 5th rush.
So those were my concept for already giving one of the most coolest/strongest killers in the game a bit more uniqueness to him, but ya that's all I had to say.
How about the work on bringing his viability with a controller to normal 1st
