Lots and lots of boosted potatoes on both sides killer and survivor.
Everybodys had easy games for 2 months now.
All these potatoes think there good till they come across some serious dbd players who are real red ranks

it's not like we're playing R6 or any online shooter game. Yeah pc have an advantage but it's not that far off.
All it takes is some adapting ๐
To be honest, as an xbox player i was worried about god tier nurses and hackers, but i played probably 20+ matches yesterday and the main reason im leaning towards disabling cross play is simply due to frame rates.
Played a game yesterday i was struggling on the hook another team mate got hooked and it was his death hook.
When he got hooked the frame rates dropped so bad that it killed me. Guess the game thought i wasnt pressing the struggle button idk
So i believe im going to have to turn cross play off untill they can fix the fps problem on consoles.
-
I havent played a single nurse on xbox yet since cross play release
-
I havent had to many DCs but seems like almost every game is a 3v1 because the first guy to get found seems to always just try to kobe and if they fail they let go.

In all honesty, it's been pretty negative. I play on Nintendo Switch (which appears to be the worst of all platforms in the eyes of others). This new update introduced bugs that were never there, but the bugs existed on PC. Some of it can be blamed on my internet.
Killer Experience:
I played one round...
And I hate it. It's weird playing on the Badham maps. I have zero knowledge of the loops, and find it hard to anticipate. I think I got two PC players. Their movements compared to the other survivors was MUCH smoother. They were much different to the survivors I am used to. I am not the best killer, but I can get at least 2 kills. It kinda hurt to watch a Blendette and a Jake tbag me at the gate. It was a new experience.
Survivor Experience:
It wasn't much different. Bull hits every so often, but that's just the norm
After what the mobile looks like i cant imagine the switch.
Got to much going on and not enough power to process it all.
Sorry to hear my crossplay on xbox one has been decent so far.
Was expecting alot more nurses and cheaters but out of 8 games i havent had either.
I have had alot of players just dieing first hook. Like they try and kobe and if they fail they just let go. Pretty frustrating.

Megs on PC were slightly below average but Megs on console. LOL. This must have been where the Meg Head meme originated from. Every console Meg I have played against so far has amused me with how bad they were. Any other PC players experienced this?
Lol welcome to console.

That was the promise right? You can opt out of cross play. I go to options and the check box for cross play is greyed out and I can't click it to turn off. Frankly it should be off by default and all the players that want it can opt in. So far there has been no upside to cross play for me. Queue times are same as always. If anything it just feels laggier.
Go to the options on the main menu. Like where you select killer or survivor.
I heard you its greyd out if your already in a lobby but isn't if you do it from main menu.

Seriously lol. I've had DCs or suicides in close to half my games.
For real its pretty bad.
-
Im on xbox and same thing sweaty pc players and almost every time someone juat dies first hook.
Is that how pc players play? Get caught once and then new game unless you kobe?
-
I mean thats part of the game. If your playing any online game your going to run into those and you would always have the option to mute players or turn off your mic so you wouldnt have to hear them.
-
Yup pc does have a clear advantage over console players and not to mention seems like they all just try to kobe and if they fail they let go.
This is third match in a row.
-
Im on xbox as well and im currently testing it out myself.
Pc players have advantages with certain killers like nurse and alot more hackers on pc.
Hopefully its not to bad because i do like the thought of playing with other platforms but not at the cost of losing every game due to hacks.
But at least they do give you an option to opt out and just play your own platform.

It's referencing a glitch in where you get stuck at the bottom of hills
Had this happen yesterday on the circus map. Had to down 2 survivors who got stuck healing. Lost a gen because i let them go instead of hooking them .

With the arrival of cross play, all the crazy pc nurses, pc spirits and a bunch of other killers that are better on pc now have their chance to show toxic console survivors the real world. So PC players, humble these hyper toxic console survivors.
Smart survivors will just click off of cross play.
Match pc players vs console players gives pc players a clear advantage.
This is clearly shown as nurse is a god on pc and not so much on console.

If you need a video on how to camp basement as bubba you need to just uninstall.
Theres no hope for you. ๐๐

Are you this entitled to not read my arguments and go for a stupid "you are Just a tunneler that means i am right" argument.
I bet you are the survivor that abuse the perk๐คทโโ๏ธ
Just like i said the killer isnt tunneling when the survivor has time doing their objective.
Ds/UB isnt thay strong of a combo. There are plenty of red rank killers who auctually know how to play the game and consistently get 4ks against these perks.
Its a strong combo but its only strong if your play style is that of a camping tunnelling potato.
The only nerf DS needs is that it deactivates once you past the exit gate so people can stop being unhooked during EGC with a door 99d then they get saved and get out for free.
Other than that this perk combo is easy to play around as killer except for the few times it happens during EGC.
Im a rank 1 killer and rank 1 survivor with 1200 hrs and i use these perks almost every game as survivor and almost am never effected by the DS / UB combo
-
@Nicholas said:
There's risks and rewards at times. The issue is a lot of people only want the reward. If you slug, there's a risk that someone will have Unbreakable. Everyone is free to Tunnel, camp and slug but if survivors have the right perks equipped those decisions may have a consequence for the match. Without any remedy, every match would be a slugfest. @BigBrainMegMain is correct. And I think the more people complain about these perks, especially DS and UB which only work once per trial, they are going to make compelling adjustments to make them more effective and bring more utility. So maybe people will get their wish and DS will deactivate during certain conditions but then it may work twice and be very powerful against tunneling meaning there's no timer to circumvent. People say they want it to be an anti tunnel perk. I'm not so sure that's the case. I think people just want to make it easier to Tunnel, something that's already super easy and effective to do. Be careful what you wish for, I remember when everyone was running self-care and all the killers were complaining about it. Now that it's Nerf, no one bothers healing in a corner of the map wasting time and instead they focus on generators.
This man & @BigBrainMegMain
Speaking FACTS.
Be careful what You wish for.
-
Yes this doesnt effect map offerings i believe its meant so if the killer brings the offering to make hooks closer together but survivors bring one to make them further apart they cancel each other out.
Map offerings are % based so its not a guarantee as to where the hook offerings i would assume are set like 4m ect

i just saw a video titled infinite head on where these two cucks go around head on trolling w/purple flashlights
that's better?
Anybody that has seen this video seen the killer they went against was from like across the world with 1000 ping.
Ole dude is good and if your a killer that allows yourself to be ran over by 2 people with head on and flashlights then you need to git gud.

I'm trying to win as Bubba, I said this in the title because it's how survivors of 4000 hours+ REACTED against me, not how I forced them to do
Lol this is how to win at bubba if your trash at chases and your a straight boosted potato.

I can finish the entire battle pass of apex legends when I do the entire season NOTHING but start playing 1 week before it ends. Try that with dbd. Oh Wait, you telling me I have to play EVERYDAY multiple hours (not even considering lobby times) and I don't even get that great stuff compared to the battle pass of apex? Oh damn.
The rift last like 75 days or something? There is plenty of time to complete it and you get back all 1000 cells you bought it for.
Like someone else said the rift aka battle pass is meant for players who play the game alot more.
And to be honest its only 10 bucks which is what you would pay for almost any single decent cosmetic as it is, and the rift LITERALLY comes with like 6 full outfits along with other single pieces, charms, and your cells back.
-
I dont think they come to the store. Least i havent seen any.
Part of the lure to buy the rift?
-
This is correct. Ash isnt bugged on xbox one just tested in game.
Rank 1 survivor who uses flashlights on the normal.

the todays,, fix'' made everything worse xD i hear some people say they get error 111 uhm i mean 112 now every round.. if this error would occur on ps4 i would deinstall right on spot :D
Thankfully this sounds like a pc only problem cause its not happening on xbox either.
-
Trying this now will confirm if it works on xbox one.
Edit : this is a confirmed fix. Ash doesnt suffer from the pov bug from flashlights and he can still point and teabag
-
Yeah billys over heat mechanic is pretty much non existent.
And
Even if you do get close to over heating the Cooldown on the saw is pretty fast.

@DaKnight said:
As someone who plays mostly 1 shot killers, I disagree. SB is just outright better if you can handle having to walk around sometimes.
SB is not outright better as if you have it 99d you can work on gens.
So if your not the one being chased your basically worthless.
Dead hard works on demand and can be used to avoid an attack / get distance / go through traps.
If servers dont screw you dh is better imo
-
This is why the yellow mori should be just base kit for every killer.
If everybody else is dead chances are you werent going to wiggle off.
-
Im not sure about him feeling slow but he does feel clunky
-
@Roobnus said:
It can actually be really funny when you hook some teabagger and then end up 4k the whole SWF because they so desperately tried to save them :-)))))
I only camp when someone really pisses me off.
Whats even better is when a killer face camps the whole game and get gen rushed then an expericed swf team comes in and makes the save and everybody gets out in front of your face.
Even better lol

Any time the killer is locked in an animation is the perfect time to easily blind them. They literally can't move. Works on pallets, lockers, picking up downed survivors, and while I don't see it on windows often, I think you might be able to get one off there if you start early enough.
You can 100% blind a killer vaulting a window. Would only recommend blinding a killer on a very strong window like shack.

Correct.
Only the aura of items dropped due to Franklinโs are shown to the killer.
Which sucks a bit.
Thats what i thought, and thats how it should be. You waste a perk slot while i go hide my item in the corner of the map.
๐
-
There is definitely an increased amount of bubbas out lately.
Is there something built into him that just screams face camp.
Seems like 99% of the bubbas i play are solely interested in just face camping players, and bubba is really the only killer seems to have this mentality.
To all you face camping bubbas get better at the game boosted potatoes.

From what I understand, the item won't be put on a disappearance timer unless the Killer knocks it out of their hand, but all items not being carried will be revealed by Franklin's Demise.
I shall test momentarily with friends in a custom game and report back unless someone can confirm with 100% that it does show you the item even if you didnt knock it out.
-
Flashlight challenge easy
Load up a game run to the killer and camp the pallet. Throw the pallet and when he breaks it you blind him.
Very easy challenge and very easy to do. The killer is locked in animation and cant avoid the blind unless he has lightborn.
Edit : flashlight pov are still messed up, angle is slightly off to the right.
-
You do realise that all you have to do to prevent a flashlight blind is look up?
Sounds like your a bit of a newer player and dont know the ropes yet.
Flashlights can be annoying but there also one of the easiest items to counter as killer.
-
@TAG said:
For what it's worth, if someone hides the key somewhere, there is a non-zero chance that you randomly get within range of it and spot its aura through Franklin's Demise. If that happens, you can now sorta play keeping that in mind, particularly when the game is close to reaching a point where the Hatch spawns. It ain't much, but it's something.
I believe the killer is only shown the aura of the item if its under FD.
So a survivor who drops their item shouldnt be seen by the killer unless im understanding the perk wrong.
-
Padded jaws should only be used if your using the perk save the best for last.
So you can get 2 stacks when a non obsession steps in a trap.
Otherwise garbage.

You cant, Behaviour has seen to it that new players are punished for buying their game by perpetually setting them up against toxic red rank dinosaurs who have been here since release.
rip.
What this man said,
The matchmaking is so messed up your going to go up against unfairly and overly skilled survivors.
In my opinion your best bet is to use the dbd forums or on xbox we have a club where you can make a post looking for other players, and try and find a custom game with other new players so everybody can have fun.
-
This man just played the entire match..Backwards.
Hes in ranked, and im dead right now.
New killer challenge get a 4k in reverse.
-
How you counter that is you tunnel the guy off hook and eat his ds early then either continue chase and rehook and move on. Slug mutiple people early game to force the unbreakables early
-
@wildcardyo said:
yeah this game blows, killers are too weak. every game has become a predictable snooze fest because of the imbalances. kinda wish I could get a refund
Killers are not to weak, maybe your just weak with them?
Im a rank 1 killer and im getting 4ks 90% of the time on multiple killers.

@danielmaster87 said:
This killer is such a joke, especially after the nerfs. I can't believe I used to main him. Unless you're a curving master or survivors play like absolute potatoes, you will never be able to chainsaw someone down. Even when you're point blank, survivors can just run into your body or move slightly to the left or right and get a complete dodge. The new music is the only good thing about him.
Billy isnt that bad. It sounds like you were one of those billy mains who could only use the insta-saw build.
His movement feels a little clunky but hes still a good killer and a force to be reckon with in the right hands.
His new adds with the silent terror radius are more of a joke than anything but none the less basekit billy will still do damage in the right hands.
-
Probably be next week when the next hotfix comes in.
-
Blame this match making. Us rank 1 killers dont like playing new players either its no fun.
And
With this new mmr setup killers going easy on anybody isnt helping anybody.
We need to run you guys over so you play worse killers and we play better survivors.
It does suck though.
-
@WeenieDog said:
I wonder if you're more likely, as a solo, to have a situation where the MM gives you 2 highs and 2 lows to average an MMR that accommodates what ever killer it finds.
I wish I could feel as annoyed as everyone else is, but my queue times are too long IMO to warrant playing more than 2-3 matches.
This is exactly what i think is happening. When i cue up with a swf team we've been getting decent killers.
If i go into solo cue its almost always a 2v2 or a 3v1 with me usually being the most experienced player on my team.
95% of my games go me starting the first gen and just watching my potatoes go down one after the other and by the time the gen is finished im the only one left not hooked or slugged.
Or
I get caught first and run the killer for 3 minutes then get caught, meanwhile no gens have popped and my team mates are just hiding or maybe just like 25% done with a gen, because they hop off of it every 5 seconds because they hear the heartbeat.
Then i die first hook and next game.
This is every game as a solo cue! Sucks
-
@MissKitty95 said:
Until I stop seeing potatoes at rank 1 rank donโt matter; I get Better low ranks then I do high ranks;
The problem is you will have 1 or 2 experienced survivors who will team up with a buddy who just got the game and hes rank 20.
By simply playing with good team mates you can get red ranks no problem. I know cause im guilty of boosting other people up.
I have a friend who isnt good at the game in chases and saves but can do gens, so me and my buddy will run the killer while our potatoes do gens. They started at rank 16 and now their rank 3.
So it is very easy to get boosted up. You can pip up by just doing gens you dont have to have any chase points to pip up. They definitely help but arent required which they should be.
Problem with that is if you get boosted up when you solo que you get ran over because your not experienced enough to play at high levels.

O i see your getting my survivor games.

Be thankful it wasn't a rank 1-2 streamer killer with full power addons(Forever Freddy(I am ok with Forever Freddy just not when i have 3 rank 20 teammates) like I have been getting.
This just played a legion, ran him for 3 gens and then nobody came to save. Died first hook
