Map offerings consumed?

I was under the impression that offerings were consumed at the start of the match, unless they conflict with other offerings.

Had a match yesterday, played a Macmillan offering, someone else used Azarovs Key. We were sent to autohavens, yet my Macmillan offering was gone.

Later same thing happened with a Coldwind offering vs Charred Wedding Photograph.

Has this been changed to where map offerings are consumed despite "losing" to other map offerings?

    Yes this doesnt effect map offerings i believe its meant so if the killer brings the offering to make hooks closer together but survivors bring one to make them further apart they cancel each other out.

    Map offerings are % based so its not a guarantee as to where the hook offerings i would assume are set like 4m ect
