I seem him quite frequently. Yesterday, 2 Ghostface.
I guess, we come to the point where every Killer can be seen rarely, just by coincidence, because we have so many Killers. Also, Wraith got buffed recently, so people who played Ghostface (because they enjoy Stealth Killers) might try out Wraith currently.

I dont think it is that bad to play on as Killer. It is an indoor Map, so it is worse than other Maps by default, but the amount of Pallets is not that much of a problem. Most of my games are a win on this Map as Killer, as long as I am playing a Killer I am comfortable with. I even played Mirror Myers a few days ago and got a 3K against 4 Spine Chills... Which is alright, I guess, but I dont know if I will burn this Map again with Mirror Myers.
The only criticism I have is that The Game is boring to play on, because there are only Pallets. But this is how it has been all the time.

Actually there is counter-play to Spirit.
When she’s phasing the shards on her back light up. If you pause the video at the start when Scott first uses phase there is a frame where it’s clearly visible.
As for chase, you can no longer hear any sounds if you mute your game, and Spirit heavily relies on sound.
I’d happily take Scott up on his challenge to settle this once and for all.
@ScottJund , look, here is another one.

Yeah, Ruin/PGTW/Tinkerer is basically the Baby Killer-Starter Kid. BBQ for extra BPs, because it should be ensured to run the best Add Ons all game and thats the build.
You get really carried when playing that Build, that is for sure. But I doubt that anything can be done about it, because they recently buffed Tinkerer, so they will not nerf it. And IMO Tinkerer is the problematic Perk in the bunch, this big "Pressure here!"-Sign is too much. Ruin in itself is fine, since usually only good Killers would benefit from it, but with Tinkerer, the worst Killer ever can still get a benefit from Ruin.

Sprint burst would be the next big thing killers complain about as being very boring.
Of course. Because Survivors would sit on the Gen until the last moment possible, just to Sprint Burst away into safety. (Which I find more annoying than someone using Dead Hard for distance) IMO Sprint Burst is the better Perk, because if you 99 it, you can use it everywhere and make it to a Pallet. While Dead Hard can only be used for a little bit of distance, which is meaningless if nothing is around.
However, I use Dead Hard, because I just dont like Sprint Burst, lol.

- Increase the overall BP-Cap - 100k per Level of Devotion. This would give players something for Devotion while not being super-strong (like, I am Devotion 27, I would be able to save 3,7 Million BPs, but this would still not mean that I can max out a Character instantly).
- Remove the 8k Category-Cap, people should be able to get over 8k BPs in Objective if they are running Prove Thyself or over 8k in Boldness when they get chased a lot. Keep the 32k Overall-Cap to avoid big farming-Matches.
- Double the amounts of the Category-BP Offerings (brown-->100% in that Category, yellow-->150% in that Category, green-->200% in that Category). This would make them actually useable, currently, you have to get at least 5k BPs in a category to get back the BPs you spent for a green Offering. With 8k BP in that Category, you only have 3k BPs extra when using it. With my idea, you only would need 2,5k BPs to get back the Offering and on Max, you would get 11k BP Bonus, even more, when the Category Cap is removed.
- Bloody Party Streamers (and Event Cakes) give 200% Bonus BPs to those who are using it and 100% to every other player. This would increase the incentive to burn them outside of the (rare) Double BP-Events.
- Some Bloodweb-Changes:
- More Perks unlockable - Level 1-10, one Perk, 10-25-->two Perks out of 3, 25-50-->2 Perks out of 4, 50-->3 Perks out of 6 would be my thoughts.
- remove some Offerings on both sides
- Teachable Perks get unlocked at Level 30/35/40 without purchasing them in the Bloodweb (similar to Perk Slots)
- When prestiging a Character, they keep the Perks they unlocked before from previous Characters on Level 1 and their own Perks on the Level they purchased. They already learned it, no need to re-learn it.
-
This is a good example why the 8k Category Cap should be removed. Like, someone has maxed out on Objective Points, but still someone has to do Gens, so they do the Gens to actually win the game, but they dont get any points for it. This is just wrong IMO.

I honestly cannot blame anyone who DCs or suicides on Hook against Twins. I was in the same mood after facing 3 Twins in one day where you just run around, trying to heal slugged people or lying on the ground, holding M1 to recover.

Cute Monster Girls anyone?

Nah, I think human Survivors should be the only Survivors we get. It would make sense for non-human Killers at some Point (like Alien(s) or Androids), but I cannot really imagine a non-human Survivor.
Also, if we start with non-human Survivors, we only attract Furrys who want some Catgirls or Foxes in the game. <_< The internet is full of those people.

Yep, his Hitbox is stupid. I really want to see an illustration.

Because people want DbD to be the next Siege and so play like it is.
Probably. I mean, for me, it is already bad that low Settings give you an advantage by making the game brighter. This should not be the case. (It is not as bad as it was with Warthunder, when low Settings removed grass, which allowed to see tanks which would be hidden on high settings, but still.)
Personally, I dont really care about stretched res, since I have no way of knowing if the other side is using it, unless they are a Streamer. But if I see people who make their game look like #########, it is just sad.
-
Funny how the experiences differ.
I have seen one Blight in the past 3 days. But 8 Twins. I would have preferred it was the other way.

Holy mother of stretched res. And I thought that a round Blight was the worst thing I have seen (there was a Streamer whose Res was so stretched that Blight was as wide as big).
But this is a completely new Level. I will never understand why people want their game to look like #########, just for an advantage. Especially in a game like DBD.
-
Wraith is fun to go against, as long as they are not playing as Hit and Run. THIS is boring, because you dont have any chases as Survivor (or they are not really winable).
But going against a regular Wraith is fine, his Lunge is challenging, but this is ok.
-
I rarely play her. If I play her, I dont run Stridor, because Stridor is a cheap Perk. If I go against 4 Iron Wills, it becomes a little bit challenging, but this is the most challenging it can get when playing Spirit.
Since I also dont run Gen Regression Perks, I dont even know what to run on Spirit most of the time. And I also run either no Add Ons or yellows at max.
But overall, I dont really enjoy playing Spirit, it does not feel rewarding to get Downs with her. I rather 4K with Killers like Pig or Demo and have an actual fun game instead of playing Spirit, knowing that the Survivors cannot really do anything against me, as long as they dont have Iron Will (and this only because I am nice and dont run Stridor, with Stridor, it would be even more of a shitshow).

"The Devs also said that DS is not an Anti-Tunnel Perk. :) But obviously you ignore that."
They did not. They said it was for anti-tunnel.
"That DS deactivates on certain actions does not change the fact that most Killers dont care, if they want to tunnel, they will tunnel"
And they will get punished and then lose the game for it. What's the problem?
"Especially the strongest Killers have no problem to eat a DS, use DS on a Nurse and Spirit and you are down a few seconds later."
Your counter argument is really to bring up that 2 of the strongest killers in the whole game out of the entire roster that exists can still win after eating a DS? That's quite a pointless statement.
"BT is a funny example, considering it got even easier to wait out the timer."
How often are you really not able to get to a pallet or window in that timer? Rarely is the answer, hence why it's hard meta.
"Sure, it got more useful against SOME Killers, but weaker against basically every Killer, since they only have to wait 12 seconds to still get a hit in."
Something can be made weaker and still be too strong simultaneously.
"Let alone that the Survivor does not have any control over the Perks of their teammates (unless they are a 4 man SWF)."
Pretty irrelevant when you see at least 2 BT's in every single match even in solo queue.
"They did not. They said it was for anti-tunnel."
Peanits said that it is not an Anti-Tunnel Perk, this was something the community made up. I am not searching for the post with that horrible Search Function, but I am not making stuff up here. (Maybe they changed their opinion on that, they did it quite a few times on other topics already)
"And they will get punished and then lose the game for it. What's the problem?"
No Killer will lose a game when getting hit by one DS. If they can take out a Survivor early, they will win the game - this makes it worth to tunnel even through DS, a Survivor Team cannot come back from a early Sacrifice when there are more than 2 Gens which need to be done (as long as they are not considerably better than the Killer).
"Your counter argument is really to bring up that 2 of the strongest killers in the whole game out of the entire roster that exists can still win after eating a DS? That's quite a pointless statement."
I mean, I got tunneled to Death by a Demo, despite having BT from a Teammate (random) and DS - I was in a Deadzone (wanted to repair a Gen there, it needed to go away, because there was nothing there) and he had enough STBFL-Stacks to get me, despite the Speedboost due to BT. After I was unhooked a second time with him camping, he just waited out the 12 seconds. And I was dead with 4 Gens to go, needless to say, this game was lost.
"Something can be made weaker and still be too strong simultaneously."
BT is not too strong when you can just go for the Unhooker.
"Pretty irrelevant when you see at least 2 BT's in every single match even in solo queue."
I only see two BTs in every Match because my SWF-Friend and myself are running BT. There are so many Survivors who dont run BT, especially with the weird Matchmaking you sometimes get. (I dont want to blame those Survivors, if there are Rank 17 Megs in my game, it is how it is, but as long as BT is not basekit (which it should not be), you cannot really expect BT in every game or from every teammate)
My point stands, if a Killers wants to tunnel, they can easily tunnel without that much trouble. The reward is big, since a Survivor Team cannot win against an somewhat equally strong Killer player if they are in a 3v1 situation early. To make DS an Anti-Tunnel Perk it should be a big middlefinger to every Killer, something which really punishes them for tunneling.
But we both now that this is not gonna happen, because Killer is still not easy enough apparently.

Activates only when unhooked, deactivates when touching objectives, and punishes the killer for picking you up within a certain amount of time from being unhooked. Also you know, the devs literally stating that's what it's been designed for.
BT is also for the same purpose with the same reasons listed above.
Unbreakable is one that is not specifically anti-tunnel but is made anti-tunnel when stacked with DS.
The Devs also said that DS is not an Anti-Tunnel Perk. :) But obviously you ignore that. That DS deactivates on certain actions does not change the fact that most Killers dont care, if they want to tunnel, they will tunnel. Especially the strongest Killers have no problem to eat a DS, use DS on a Nurse and Spirit and you are down a few seconds later.
BT is a funny example, considering it got even easier to wait out the timer. Sure, it got more useful against SOME Killers, but weaker against basically every Killer, since they only have to wait 12 seconds to still get a hit in. @Blueberry said:
Not only is DS not trash but it's still one of the best perks in the game. We do not need more anti-tunnel perks, we already have plenty and they're too strong.

only doing infinite loops. soul guard. flashlights, body blocking. DS, dead hard... When all four survivors utilize every single resource at their disposal. The killer will NEVER get one hook even with tunneling
Everything you described is not bullying. The Survivors are playing the game and are using Perks. You are not being bullied. Get over it.

I can't get down anyone while he is a normal M1 killer.
I get more downs with trickster
A normal M1-Killer does not mean they dont have a weapon. Regular M1-Killer means that they are 115% Movement Speed, this is usually already enough to get hits in. And Legion basically only has to hit them once to down them, since the first Hit is basically guaranteed with the ability.
Also, his power can be a big time-waster, especially paired with Slowdown-Perks like Thanatophobia, Sloppy Butcher (on regular M1-Hits)/yellow Pin (on Frenzy Hits). This on top of Mending, which also wastes time.
-
More Character-Reworks - especially Nea, because I main her.
Also, I would like to hear something about Prestige Rewards and Devotion Rewards. I have every Character prestiged and Devotion 27, would be nice to get something for this.
(For real, there should be a Devotion-Reward. Players with high Devotion are those who play the game for a long time, would be nice to give something back to them. Just a small thing, which would be more than a number going up without any effect)
-
While Legion is clearly one of the weaker Killers, they are easily able to win at Red Ranks. You can injure people fast and the rest is basically usual M1-Killer gameplay. If you struggle with that (and you do), you will not get many Hooks with Legion.
Would not be against a rework of their power to make them an actually strong Killer tho.
Regarding gameplay, it is practially just stab as many people as possible. Then end frenzy and go after the nearest Survivor. The important part is to know when to try to go for a Stab and when not, if someone is far away, you will most likely waste your time when you go after them, because your power will run out before reaching them.
Add On-wise, I usually run the yellow Pin (mangled) and a Duration Add On, works fine for me.
EDIT: A good advice is to let yourself get stunned at unsafe Pallets. The stun duration is shorter than the fatique.
-
Finally someone opens a topic about Survivor Perks!
-
Yes, I would think so.
EDIT: And yes, this was done last year with the Silent Hill-Chapter as well. Even tho, this was more of a surprise.

Survivors diving hooks or tapping a degrading gen with zero penalty is exploiting glitches and bad mechanics. It's not smart, it's borderline cheating. No survivor is going to stop mid chase to work on a generator, so why then should they be rewarded for doing exactly that?
It is not "borderline cheating". There is either Cheating or not Cheating. This is not cheating, it is in the game, you are allowed to cancel actions and the game allows also to tap Generators.
But we can easily remove the ability to cancel any action - have fun with Deathslinger being forced to shoot, Huntress being forced to throw a Hatchet, Trapper being forced to set a Trap and so on.

I get Your point. But I can also dress as 6 ft tall clown man. Wearing a pink elephant head with santa robes on wielding a easter egg themed knife. I feel like a toy dwight wouldn't really be the lore killer here.
I mean, I wear that in my freetime, and dont worry, if I would wear a Toy-Dwight, people would not think I am more crazy than usual.
But, I guess this is the intention - the more gory/brutal/dark Charms for Killers and the cute/sweet/whatever Charms for Survivors. I would not mind if they would just make all Charms useable for everyone, since Killers have more good-looking Charms than Survivors and I would probably use more of those.
-
Probably because it does not really fit. Like, why should a Survivor wear an Eyeball on their belt? And why should there be a cute little Bill on the Hook?

You don't though. The other 3 Survivors can and will bodyblock for the injured person.
Couple that with Dead Hard, and they can make it to pretty much any gate.
I guess when you have 4 Survivors alive during EGC, this is the point to accept that you lost.
-
"there are four of them and the devs need to stop rewarding them for stupid plays."
Sounds more like smart plays. Let alone that the Killer does not have to commit to every action, otherwise we would not have stuff like faking powers and other things.

Its Infectious fright is a snowball perk so it makes sense it would be good on snowball killers.
I mean its a plague perk for a reason.
Also due to how extremely different killers are its ok if a perk is useless on some and stronger on others.
Infectious Fright is not "stronger" on others, it is simply oppressive.

I think that Midwich sucks for every killer that isn't Slinger, Nurse, Huntress, Hag(maybe), and possibly Trickster, but if it's one of those killers it sucks for the survivors. Who it sucks for just depends on who the killer is honestly.
I think that unnecessary buffs are an issue for things that are already balanced. Not weak things, but things that are perfect where they are.
About Plague, I think she's honestly a solid A to high B tier killer. But she's one of the most boring to play, which is why there aren't just as many Plagues as there are Spirits.
Map offerings still do tilt the balance towards one side. Especially for killers. You can't nerf a map just because a certain killer is good on it. That's why I put it on there. Sometimes the map doesn't need changes to be OP in certain situations.
Perks 100% can kill the game. Imagine if the Breakdown bug was intentional. That did break the game.
Yeah, whenever I play Plague, I have solid results, she is strong. But I dont really have fun.
Ok, regarding Buffs, I did not understand you correctly. I meant buffing weak things. Stuff which is already fine does not really need a Buff.
Regarding your Breakdown-Example: Yes, this would be something which would be too much. But I also wrote about that. This would be something which falls under "overdoing".
When it comes to Maps, sure, there are some Maps which are very strong for certain Killers, but I think this gets balanced out by Map Offerings being quite rare. You have to do a lot of Bloodwebs to get a Pile of your favorite Map Offerings.

This. I don't even consider myself a great survivor as I mostly play killer. But I can loop the vast majority of rank 1 killers for 5 gens just by dropping pallets and holding w between loops. Its stupidly easy.
Because getting to Rank 1 on either side means nothing. Like, everyone and their mother is at Rank 1.
-
A few points:
"4-Unnecessary buffs. Some things that don't deserve to get buffed will get buffed anyways. This leads to it being abused to all hell and just making the game miserable for the other side until it gets nerfed again."
I think that this is how Buffs have to be done. Lucky Break with 90 seconds was a good idea by the Devs, because the Perk actually had the chance to become Meta. However, they chickened out and nerfed it, which just buffed the Perk from ######### to still #########, so nobody runs it.
They should do more, really bold Buffs and if they turn out too strong, they should nerf them with the next Patch - 1 1/2 months to test out the Buffs should be fine and as long as they are not overdoing it completely, an overbuffed Perk will not kill the game. If the Perk turns out to be too weak, they can do another Buff at a later point. Or, it turns out fine and we have a more diverse Meta.
"8-Some killers just being straight up boring to play. Another reason for not seeing certain killers is that some killers just aren't fun to play, even if they're powerful. For example, when's the last time you've seen a Plague? Or Twins?(I find Twins fun but most people don't, so I'm putting them as an example.)"
I like that you included Plague here. She is a strong Killer, but so boring to play.
"9-Map offerings. Some maps will make the game heavily in favor of one side. For example, Haddonfield, or Midwich against Huntress/Nurse."
I dont think that Map Offerings are a problem, some Maps are. Like, the problem is not the Strode Key, it is Haddonfield. However, I think it is fine that some Maps are survivor-sided and others are killer-sided, the extend is just too much currently.
Indoor Maps are another topic, especially Midwich sucks for both sides. But in general, people who like Indoor Maps are the minority.
-
Agreed. I am all for challenges which are actually challenges, but I think this one should be in Level 4 and not in Level 2. The other one (the Infectious Fright Challenge) is a piece of cake compared to this.
For the Plague-Challenge, I farmed, because I tried for 2 hours without having a chance to get it done. The Infectious Fright Challenge was done in my first game with Demo.
-
Badly designed. On most Killers it is too weak to actually be used. I would not say it is super-weak, but I dont think that most people will remove a Perk from their Loadout for it.
However, on some Killers, it is too strong. Like, a Nurse with Starstruck is really, really dirty.
-
You might want to watch good Killer players instead of the one you named. In 99% of the games you can easily make mistakes as Killer and still win. I win most of my games and I suck as a Killer. But the Survivors are even worse than me, so I win.
And the number of really, really strong Survivor-Teams is so low, talking about tournament level here.
But as I said - watch good Killer Streamers and you will see, how often they win. And even tru3 wins most of his games, he just clickbaits a lot and even games where he loses 4 Gens early are often enough ending with a 4K for him (like, someone once did statistics for a few Killer Mains and tru3 had an average of 3K/game over 100 games...Which is above the 2k/2 escape which is the goal of the Devs).

Okay, so maybe somewhere between $8-15 would be a good guess
Just wait until Tuesday, then they will reveal the Content of the Chapter. If it is 1 Survivor and 1 Killer, it will be 7 Euros (or whatever it is in other currencies). If there are more Survivors (or more Killers, but this is very unlikely), it will probably be more expensive.
