He's basically 4.6 if he uses his power correctly. It does not feel as insane anymore since players learned how to play against him.
-
Please always do special modes like chaos shuffle, lights out and 2v8 like this. One week of a certain special mode does not push normal queue times that hard. Four weeks of 2v8 does make the game borderline unplayable. This is a nice middle ground.
-
I think an increase to five or six minutes is the best way to discourage slugfest builds with killers like billy.
-
That is clearly on, must be a bug
-
Can't wait for the rebecca called "Wambulance" to sprint across the map to the unhook while spam pinging her medkit and her four healing perks.
If you can read this i love ya i laughed so hard at your silly plays
-
Bleedout timer needs to be increased to heavily discourage extended slugging. UB basekit is not a good idea because killers like twins exist.
-
I mean it's kinda hard to see if someone is having fun based on their gameplay. I can show you a compilation of me dcing against crayon muncher and logging off for the night, but that's not very interesting gameplay.
-
As killer it's fun, but i don't really see the appeal as survivor except for a few games.
-
Because the anti-camp system as a whole is the issue. It's not thought through. In my opinion anti-camp needs to be buffed heavily and restrictions on powers need to be removed fully.
-
It's one of the things many people criticise. They just need one guy rebalancing perks for every chapter and mid-chapter, 10-15 perks each, and it would feel fresh each time.
-
Someone madge he got hot gramma instead of hot blue haired girl.
In all seriousness, it's normal that not everyone likes how a chapter is designed. A community chapter with votes for and against some stuff even more probably.
-
I don't enjoy playing or playing against spirit and i am thankful that she does not get played a lot.
Due to her wide range of possible speeds and phase durations due to addons it's impossible for me to predict her reappearance.
Apparently i am deaf too because i can't pinpoint her location while she's phasing.
The passive phasing is just the cherry on top.
I hate you "It's just a phase mom" i keep getting you as killer in my quanton matches.
-
Justice rains from above or smth idk
-
I have no idea how they managed to fck up wesker that bad. I used to play him a lot and went from playing him every other match to literally dropping him completely. He was such a fun and fair character that felt really satisfying to play. They essentially dedicated a patch to fck him up. Thats it.

His omnipresent evil makes it easy to spot survivors running around, on gens, completely invisible lol
So it's because of his red mist in OE and killer instinct after getting out i understand.
-
Can someone explain why jason is good in lighta out? Didnt try him yet.
-
Imagine some kind of reindeerish elk like creature with tons of horns as killer...would be really great.

I recall having the CD for one called "D"
It was released on steam a while back and the graphics they had for that game would fry people's eyeballs today lol
ROAM was basically a bunch of photos and some pixelated minigames, but boy did it hit hard. The music and sounds made me feel like i was some kind of witness to a crime i didn't uncover yet.
-
Recently played "ROAM 0120".
The genre is niche, but more than alive. This game made me feel things i did not want to feel.
-
Welp, i enjoy him too from time to time. I hope BHVR keeps up the willingness to renew licenses using new chapter releases or skin lines as triggers for licenses to return to the fog.

Most of the 'weak' killers have an obnoxious design/playstyle that makes me never want to see them buffed outside of a full rework that changes their identity.
See: Twins/Pinhead/Trapper/Artist/Knight etc etc. Sadako is no different.
Grafefully ignoring that twins is a stable A tier killerπ
-
As killer i noticed being stealthy is way harder. As survivor i will have to try how it feels yet.
-
Nurse just needs blindness during charging her blinks and all aura perks are fine.

NtH change is a massive W. People have been asking for it to stick to the gen for years. Close-range aura is way more lethal than far. It needs a restriction.
My NtH unknown value :(

Thank you <3

"I can see your traitorous minds behind brittle curtains of flesh!"
"Ungodly insects! You shall perish under my fiery wrath!"
Just some ideas i had after the design slowly manifested.

Must admit I had forced penance show up in chaos shuffle and against a wannabe bully squad. Needless to say it absolutely slapped.
It's so nasty against the common typus of bully squads it's insane.
Can't heal in ten seconds if you can't heal at all.
-
My ADHD can't. I adored Kate for a while, but now quanton is my boy. I onetricked nurse for two years in 2018, but now i play like 20 killers regularily.
-
I mean it would essentially be a big creaking and clanking version of ghostface with ranged attack instead of stalking. Sounds okay in my book, especially because springy could be "broken out" of undetectable with cameras.
Why do you think it would be too strong?

Permanent Undetectable, but every time he's revealed by a camera he gets a 32-meter Terror Radius for 60 seconds.
I do like that idea. Permanent undetectable would make cameras actually worth it to use.

While I do think there are a couple slight tweaks Springtrap could use to make him feel better to play, I think for the most part he's alright, and most of his addons are actually decent (besides a few), a couple are actually pretty fun and useful at the same time rather than just adding a bit of power. I personally think the focus should more be on Jason's bloated kit because right now I think his power level is a bit above where it should be, but that's just my opinion
I believe jason to be perfect in terms of basekit. His issues lie in his power interaction with totems/totem cleansing and two distinctly strong addons that did not get changed yet: Coffee and Badge.
A certain content creator really thought an infinite winstreak with a busted totem build would be a good idea and now everyones going after his basekit, i'm sadge. :(
-
Springtrap needs...more. Maybe an addon overhaul as well as some much needed buffs to his stealth requiring survivors to use cameras could be the kick he needs to match jasons power.
-
You're probably right. My stubborn brain just doesn't wanna realize it's a good thing.

Coulrophobia was slept on for ages, it's come into use a lot more lately and now its getting nerfed.
Languid Touch, Forced Penance, Genetic Limits, Dissolution
Forced Penance is so heavily slept on. It's a disgusting perk if you are open to play dirty. Forcing survivors to play risky instead of resetting can pay off big.
-
Hands down unknown. He has an AOE power that feels DESIGNED for 2v8. He could have a bigger AOE, less cooldown between shots and shorter teleport cooldown.

Again not really? If it was a medkit it was probably dead the second you got hit, maps were never worth risking anything for, toolboxes yet again you'll lose more time than save going for it, flashlights I guess but after so many nerfs I can't imagine the point in risking anything for it. I'll give you keys though, if you are playing soloq having an escape option is good.
Either way I don't think it was a particularly healthy perk since it heavily punished soloq and was almost totally ineffective against swf after the first hit.
As most perks are. Franklins had a purpose as a standalone perk, even if it just countered items. Now it's a dead perk slot at worst and an inconsistent aura provider at best.

Ive always tried to get the achievements as soon as they come out, especially killer adepts (I even got jason, played for his achievements and haven't touched him since). But that one for vecna i remember reading that and going "i've got to get this one over with quickly or it will be very difficult later" lol.
Yeap i had a ton of real life issues at the time i needed to resolve, so no time for dbd.

Nonetheless better they go for a stroll for their item than ploping on a gen π
But that's the problem. Currently people can just sit on a gen/heal/unhook/whatevers priority and take their item at the most convenient time.
Old franklins created a side objective that took priority. If you did not take your item back in time you at least payed a price. Now you just...take the item again.

I got the achievement three months ago. Still its interesting that the achievement has been unlocked by 4.2% of Steam players. Still the killer version that would be easier to get of collecting the eye or hand has 1.0%. Still its not surprising that achivement where you need to buy a character for is rarer than the one that you can do without any specific character.
I assume many players have unlocked it after vecnas release where he was played a lot. I didn't play that much back then, so it's kind amy bad.π

Its like rolling 3 different dice and if either one fails its game over lol, 1 dice for getting a killer playing vecna, 2nd dice for getting the item out of the chest, 3rd dice for getting a good team that wins and gives you the chance to escape lol
I was so close to getting it four times, but each time the vecna wanted his special mori. And i'm a meghead, that doesn't help.π
-
As soon as i started spamming billy in Chaos Shuffle i had tons of fun. Tried to play lil bit of artist before, was pain.

Feel like a fix for both Legion and Doc would take care of it. Both of their tracking abilities are suppose to be TR based anyway. Those parts of their power shouldn't be working with no TR.
Yeah it feels like it's a bug.
-
No idea. A 3k and a 4k is exactly the same for me and i enjoy the thrill of searching for the hatch with the last survivor. Most times i let them go.

I've actually seen him in like 40% of the chaos shuffle matches so far. Even back to back 3 in a row sometimes. But yea finding the jackpot item and escaping with it is another story lol
I'll get it eventually, it's just a game of chance.π
-
Killer learning curve is rough. Always has been. It's hard for the first few dozen hours, but after some time you have enough skills to beat 90% of the teams you vs.
-
100% achievements in dbd is like a fun lil side objective for me. I still haven't got the dnd vecna thingy where you have to escape with one of his precious ######### super relics, because he's so incredibly rare.
It's pointless, yeah.

Huh? No new franklins actually gives people an incentive to go back for their item. Old was just it's gone and a waste of time to go for since it'll probably have at most like 20% left.
Sorry, my bad. Old franklins gave people an incentive to come back for their item FAST. It created a side objective you usually didn't want to ignore. Current franklins is a light inconvenience at best and you can pick up your item whenever its efficient.
-
I loved old franklins because people actually had an incentive to get their item back. Now it's only a support perk for some aura reading.

its a paid game with f2p monetazation, its hard to grind shards especially if both characters are 9000
I mean yeah it takes a while. And it takes a ton of time to unlock everything with shards thats unlockable by them. But the option is there for all original characters, consistently since ~2018. That is a really fair deal, especially since original chapters take the same kind of work as licensed ones.
