People have some prejudice toward the character, if they encounter someone who follows it, they remember them, if they do not, they forget him(not even intentionally). That's it.

But how do those prejudices form? For example, why do characters like Portia or Felix have no famed stereotype attached to them?

  • "Shoulder the Burden" is a perfect perk. It's very good against S-tier M2 killers like Nurse, Blight and Billy. It's mediocre against area control killers that have a good M1 ability to profit off of the exposed status effect to create a second tunnel target.

In my experience it always hits the killers who deserve it due to their power level.

  • The devs decided to change trickster in a way, that lifts him from the shallow depths of anti-loop slop to an actually pretty interesting design.

Not very fun to play against, but better than before.

Trickster got worse in chase, but way better at area control and proxy camping. You basically want to get a single hook/down and play around it by lingering around the hook/down and building S-tier. If you got the option to main event it's crucial to hold it for an unhook/pickup and punish the unhook/pickup heavily. If the survivors are forced to group trickster thrives.

Luck builds to self unhook, wicked and deliverance while everyone else sits on gens are the only situations he can't really answer.

  • Switch unbreakable for hyperfocus and urban evasion for resurgence. The you should be good.

  • A mix of chase, info and slowdown is the most healthy imo. It shouldnt be the best option go slap on four regression perks.

  • I would ask ghoul whats his favourite flavour of crayon

I just enjoyed her gameplay lol, however playing Ghoul makes me realize how weak she is. i still want her to be my first P100. i use a stupid build on her too

It's not stupid if it works. I swear on "Unbound" and "Superior Anatomy" on Mirror Myers.

  • The issue with doctor is, that he is extremely frustrating to play against if you are a new player. I think this is the only reason his madness tier effects cant be buffed that much.

  • The quest system on top of the tomes would have been a nice addition for special occasions like events or different gamemodes.

The removal of one of the most unique meta progression systems ive ever seen is a shame and i have no clue who made that decision or why. The resources you have to invest into a tome are roughly the same so that vouldnt be a reason i think.

  • Play both sides evenly. It's the only way to understand the game loop.

  • They need to update a ton of perks. There is no reason stuff like Batteries sits at 5%.

Another thing that rubs me wrong about diminishing returns is, before the update people tried to play into the strengths of certain killers. Myers with vault perks was a classic. Now it feels bad to run those perks, because you "loose" value simply due to the killer you are running the perk on.

Also, i want detailed information about the way diminishing returns interacts with all of the stats it influences. Not just the displayed stats like haste.

  • Some people are just pricks.

Some people wanna give hits for BP.

Some people are trying to do an archive/quest/challenge/achievement.

I am mostly a Skull Merchant main so ive been playing without training wheels for a while. and yeah they are odd choices i just get value out of them nicely. I suck at Hillbilly

Bwing a skully main is crazy work, but i respect it.

  • "Wandering Eye" and "Save The Best For Last" are odd choices.

I would use "Discordance" as an easy to access info perk and probably "Eruption" as another genkick slowdown to synergize with "Pop Goes The Weasel".

But my most important advice to you is to take off the training wheels and start playing killers that sharpen your mechanics and macro understanding. If you want a strong choice i can recommend "The Hillbilly".

  • Fck it why not

  • The issue is that people are too sweaty. You can counteract by not being sweaty and playing quirky builds. Thats a motivation for other people to play funny sht too.

  • Slinger has one of the best anti-loop abilities in the game hands down. Giving him any form of mobility would powercreep him to a point, that his redeemer would get nerfed. And i like my speargun the way it is.

  • I want my beloved billy to dismember them.

  • Currently Freddy or Myers.

Have you ever seen freddy detonate a dream pallet or throw a slowing sphere at anyone in the movies?

At least myers is lore accurate, he always dashes at his obsession in the films. /s

  • "Coup the Grace" is essentially the perk you sre describing. And it's a pretty unhealthy perk, pushing map design into a ######### spot.

  • Ghoul.

He isn't stronger than any other well piloted A-tier killer, but extremely easy to play.

On top he is very fun to play, but feels cheap to play against.

To make my experience against him better his power needs significant changes. Make a misclick while using his power instantly cancel it. Also, if the grab on the survivor isn't a perfect grab it does not injure. On top injuries with his powers through any solid object, like low walls or pallets, should simply not work.

In short, make ghoul players require some mechanical skill and remove extremely cheap hits.

  • They balanced the glaring gaps between a strong and a weak myers build.

Infinite T3 Mikey was a pretty good killer, but reliant on one addon.

Tombstone or Tombstone Piece Insta Mori was a very good build to turn a 4v1 into a 3v1, but also heavily reliant on two addons.

His other builds were mostly very bad.

After his rework he is better across the board, but has no insanely strong stuff anymore. It was a good way to prepare him for possible balance changes without having to take his broken builds into consideration.

    He lost his uniqueness though.

  • I think the most important thing is: change "Outbreak Breakout" to something like three escapes instead of twenty.

With basically randomly chosen maps it's a chore to even try.

  • There are too many you-cant-see-survivors-but-are-very-fast killer abilities. I dont have dolby 7D surround ears.

  • He is probably not that much stronger than comparable A-tier killers, but he's extremely unfun to play against for many players.

Sadly he is also very fun to play and wont be changed fundamentally due to it being a license.
