I am wondering will they unlock when the community hits the hundred million matches goal.
I thought that 20k BP and a few rift pebbles can't be it lol. You are on a great trail of torment dweet.

A few big names used his name and picture, i don't think that's really a reason to make a specific follow-up.
And the content creator you mentioned who answered to him usually talks about topics while citing sources in the video description. There is no need to actually look at the source itself while talking about it.
And the entitlement mentioned in the reaction clearly does not refer to the original content creator.
So yeah, in conclusion, the original content creator had no point at first except for personal dislike for dbd. In his second video the original content creator did not have a point either, because he did simply not understand that he was not the main topic of the reaction.

He didnt flame it for no reason a super chater mentioned dbd was having its 10th aniversary and he said "That game has be haunting people for 10 years" Then said it wasnt for him. It was the dbd community that made it a bigger deal as always
As far as i know he ranted for a while how it was the most toxic game ever and even made a follow-up video. My guy plays overwatch by the way, that game is not toxic at all. /s I don't start drawing a comparison to mobas and cs.

I don't think it looks good if a bunch of youtubers, the biggest youtubers, are saying how awful the balance of this event is. I mean like, imagine you never played dbd before and watched one of those videos, you probably wouldn't play dbd.
On the other hand, an overwatch content creator flamed dbd a few weeks ago for no reason. People will always hate.
-
I would love an option for that too. I assume the calculation of items you get from mass BP spending is not based on the bloodwebs itself anyway, so why not let us increase the chance for ######### we want and use?
-
I mean, it comes down to the killer played and the map rng present in the end.
Nurse on a midwich with bad room rng? Yeah that's gonna be killer sided.
Ghostface on Borgo with good pallet rng? Yeah that's gonna be survivor sided.
Statistics tell you that it's killer sided overall.
-
Oh thats just the fee for using the auto bloodweb service provided by the entity.
Don't look it up trust me

Pubstomping means nothing.
In public lobbies you meet the occasional very strong SWF in one of thirty games and the rest of them are meg the chest goblin with her friend billington the newbie and two default dweets in lockers.

I love how in the example image cheryl is about to plunge her face into the food

Name one game a blind person can play at the same level as a normal person could.
See? Again, my condolences. I am happy that support for bodily impaired people gets added to many games out there. A visual audio radius could help with that.

What about deaf people like myself?
Ever think about how blind people are severely disadvantaged when playing the game. Life is not fair. But my condolences anyway.

That's cool and all but some killers have really loud chase music and it makes it impossible to hear. I play with headphones and I can't hear them. What about people who play this game who are deaf? Screw them, right. They shouldn't be allowed to play /s. What about people who don't play with headphones? So the counter is buying physical hardware.
I play survivor more than I play killer and I have had so many killers DC because my friends were on top of using cakes to instant heal and allow the special power to happen. It's hard to defend this event.https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/IVT1U39DWP3N/screenshot-2026-06-30-094451.png
I mean i didnt say its good, just wanted to give you a way to kinda counter it if you didnt know already.
-
I love this community. And i love it's silly unwritten rules.
In League of Legends it's completely okay to proxyfarm as Singed. In Dbd that behaviour would be considered a warcrime.
-
I love obnoxious survivors fck am i weird
I let three default dwight agents with 3k+ hours each go after they fckd with my demo for the whole match yesterday
They were wholesome somehow
I am not normal i think
And i always bring cakes, too busy to look at the offering screen tho the hustle must stay in focus even in the loading screen. And with hustle i mean watching otz on my second monitor.
-
You can hear invis survivors if that helps. I track them by my ######### ears.

Yes but you basically described a scenario that explicitly puts him in complete control. I could describe a similar scenario about trapper and you wouldn't think that trapper is suddenly OP. Obviously if all the survivors are grouping up against a killer that specializes in dealing multiple health states in a row on survivors on a long cooldown during that time when that ability is available they are going to have a bad time. Just like if they group up against leatherface, or legion, or if they don't cleanse the condemn against sadako, or if nobody goes for the box against pinhead.
I do not think trickster is strong. I just think hes a great area control killer. Trapper and Bubba are too. All of them are not the strongest.

"If survivors play poorly and badly, the killer gets to kill them" what a shocker.
Is leatherface a problem too because he can do that?
I don't think that's a problem. I was just explaining his strengths after the rework.
-
If this happens i laugh hysterically and quit dbd for the day. That's how i handle it, i have no other option.
-
DbD is the GOAT of asymmetrical horror. And its here to stay. The amount of original content, the sharp and clear mechanics for veteran players, the amount of IPs, the horror for newbies and much more guarantee that a competitor has to do groundbreaking work to compete.

Trickser still has some bugs when even his small hitboxes colide with objects like they were huntress hatchest.
It happens sometimes so he isnt that great after all just all he can is cut down survivor fast who isnt in safe location and then sucks in everything else.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4094377#Comment_4094377
Trappe will never be good in anything except camping trapped basement in shack with addons for it, unless they finally make his rework real and not just myth in roadmap.
That's exactly what i mean. There are killers with certain strengths and weaknesses. If every killer would be chase-focused the game would be stale.
-
I have no time to review bomb and i don't see the value in doing so.
-
I mean i do agree with the take on map design for example, but killers are prone to be stronger/weaker at certain things. Trapper will never be as good in chase as billy and thats okay.

You don't?
It's spite. Nothing but spite.
They knew that a lot of people want to play during the anni to get cakes, they were irritated about getting dragged for something and so they did this.
If they'd wanted to buff this, they'd have given more than a 10% buff - this is little more than a calculated middle finger.
Vote with your wallet.
I did not buy anything except licensed chapters for years.
-
I am being serious. He's way worse in chase, but due to the reworked main event mechanic he's great at area control and proxy camping.
-
I hope they will reuse it with perks and addons.
-
I don't understand why BHVR changed that at all. They had no reason, the BP grind is already broken for players that are willing to farm thousands of cakes.
-
I think it would be more than reasonable for her dash to break pallets.

Still don't understand the hate for ghoul. After having his pallet vault and pallet break power cool down, he's a m1 killer once he has you injured IF YOUR POSITIONING IS GOOD. He mainly excels against survivors who like to hold w to make distance into a dead zone rather than playing a nearby loop.😕
The issue with the crayon king is, that he is not an M1 killer. He can dash slop on your ass even on pallet loops. He has the ability to prompt steal and wraiths bodyblock on crack. An appropriate nerf would be to completely remove the initial injure and only keep the mark to power up your dash.
-
The reason he is 4.4 is because the train never stops. He has no problem downing all four survivors in a blink of an eye if they group up. Most other ranged killers do not have that snowball potential.

Rainbow Six excludes new characters from that until the pick rates settle
That would be an option, although it wouldn't stop the reason for most complaints (current example: jason i assume).

Yeah, being able to manually block certain killers is two unworkable for a community as entitled as this one.
I do think some behind the scenes feature then prevents you from matching with the same killer over and over again could be doable, though.
This has nothing to do with entitlement. I don't think it would be feasable to use such a system that's all. A beacon system would be better.

Probably because people were hoarding thousands of cakes, and they want players to grind more. What better way to keep people playing and grinding for longer than by taking away their cakes?
And risk people harrassing their support staff? They wouldn't do that would they?
-
That would jumprocket the queue times of new killer characters. I dont know why we need even more roadblocks to try new characters.
-
I have no idea why they even changed the cakes rarity and drop rate. They had no reason meddling with it.
-
BECAUSE IT'S THEMATICALLY FITTING TO EAT HEADS AS DEMODOGGO. MY BOI IS HAVING A FEAST. YOU COULD SAY A WHOLE BANQUET!

Nobody is eating good this year - BP rewards are deliberately minor, cakes are deliberately rare and even if they fixed this tomorrow (they won't, it'll be in like mid July), everyone already spent that big BP reward.
On top of this, the poison feels glitchy and often like it just doesn't hit right while survivor abilities are absolutely ridiculous - I've had one SWF basically go invulnerable during a chase via frequent health states and…something with medkits maybe? I've also been trapped for extended periods of times by survivors making pallets go invulnerable on maps with no way out of rooms unless you break a pallet - and they can use this to semi take you hostage.
Who designed this?
That said, thanks for this OP, I was a little confused by the way poison worked.
You have no clue how many heads i've eaten already my fellow fog creature.
Quanton mostly served up feasts for others though.
-
Yeah i've done it in soloq a few times to an unknown. Healed some random in chase three times i think.
-
We are eating good this year. My quanton gets a banqet and my demodoggo gets a bunch of heads.

The two regalia outfits are only available for cells as of yesterday.
I imagine they’ll become available for shards later down the line, though.
Yeah i would hope so, other creatures of the fog mentioned that it takes a month for original characters.
-
I played so much overwatch parallel to dbd. At least until overwatch 2 brainrot came around. My Reinhardt was crazy lemme tell you.
-
I played the beta and just stuck with it. The concept of the game being tag wearing the coat of a horror game works so well for my brain. I'm still cursing myself for not grinding the legacies.
And now im playing on and off for years, sometimes with a month or two of a break but pretty consistently.
-
Everything related to him is unlockable through iridescent shards as far as i know. That seems more than fair.

I think a lot of this is very rng and specific game state dependent. If you’re dead on hook or injured for example obviously you don’t want to be found. If the gen you’re at is out in the open and the only pallet spawn is likely the one he will be teleporting to, you don’t want to be found. If you’re one of the last 2 survivors or and he’s slugging for the 4k, you don’t want to be found. If you’ve finally found one of his hex totems but you don’t want him to spawn on you while you’re cleansing it, then you don’t want to be found. If he’s running Friends till the end and you’re exposed, you don’t want to be found. There’s many instances where you’re better off not actually playing the game.
If you hear a chainsaw billy approaching because of terror radius, you can position yourself. There isn’t a terror radius for Jason in that way, no way to know if he’s coming towards you or not. There are no visual or audio cues, no directional cues. It’s very much guaranteed that if he sees you he’s coming for you, so you have make sure that you’re in a good position for him to show up, and that it makes sense if you were the next one to be hooked.
Im not saying there’s no counter play, there is. But that counterplay is not interactive. I imagine everyone, no matter if they love Jason or hate Jason, can understand the general frustration of this kind of counter play. And as soon as billy gets undetectable he's uninteractive? Nerf undetectable on billy?

The comparison is not ideal.
The better comparison would be a Spirit whose phasewalk is indefinitely as well. So she just stays in phasewalk, zooms around the map and only jumps "into reality" when she definitely can hit or grab you.
You can definitely question the particular design choice.
Except spirit can appear anywhere and instantly M1 after. Jason can't appear anywhere and can't instantly M1/M2.
-
I started maining nurse all the way back at her release due to map design. I play her until today, but somewhere inbetween hillbilly took the crown due to more skill expression in his chainsaw and better map design overall.
-
She feels a bit like old doctor. Two stances that do not pair well with an infection mechanic that feels redundant.
-
His main problem is that his skill floor is at the skill ceiling of half the roster.
My cat could play ghoul and win most of its matches.
The only way to fix him is a complete rework. New power, new addons.
Edit: Most ghoul mains seem to prefer red or blue crayons for consumption. Truly marvelous creatures.

asking for ghoul nerfs after he has already been nerfed quite a bit just shows a major skill issue on your part.
Whats your favourite flavour of crayon?
