Presets are a bit rough all around. They need some work, but i don't think it's a priority.
-
Cover up wench, thy shall be judged before the wholey of the church!💀
-
Wraith and Artist being in the same category of "older killers" sounds crazy for a veteran.
-
Yeah we could even rework the crayon collector before that, that would be a great idea!

I didnt put him in perfect because of the unfortunate slugging system this game has. He is very fun to play with and against, however, from time to time you will se a billy straight up slugging and raw dogging the whole lobby. His design allows for that because of the slugging system and the fast rotation he has around the map. But apart from that, he could even be above Oni
Fair fair, i don't encounter slugging billys that often that's why i put him there.
-
I think that one addon that makes his chains respawn when they get broken by environment is mandatory or something idk @100PercentBPMain has to answer this one i think.
-
Billy needs to be perfect. He is loved all around by everyone.
-
The only real required thing is a full rework of offering. There are still several offerings massively underused due to them being situational or outright useless. Give me a reason to not run streamers, cakes or puddings every game.
-
Not a bad idea, worth a try.
-
It's been rough on me so far but i generally love it. It doesn't really reflect skill on the killer side, because S-tiers like billy or nurse can shred through most teams even with mediocre effort. The lack of designated anti-tunnel makes it hard for survivors to combat that. In turn weaker killers like pig or pinhead struggle due to the lack of slowdown.
That's why: make everything random. Survivor, Killer, Perks, Addons, Offerings, Skins. Boom.

Onto the legos with him

Out of interest, what feels different for you this time around?
I feel like in the previous iterations it had been way more silly, different than normal mode. Now i've felt several points that kinda felt off:
i've got the perk "Hubris" three matches in a row, probably just unlucky but felt weird. Especially because i got it two times in a row again after one match of different perks. Just a tad bit too often.
Also i've noticed that killers as well as survivors lost the fun in the mode mostly, resulting in very sweaty matches as well as coordinated item choices by survivor groups and high tier killers mostly.
I'm pretty sure it's only unlucky on my part but it made me think, that the killer you are playing should be randomized too. In turn the survivor items also should be completely random.
To offset more people not knowing their killers, addons and powers, a 15-30 second window at the start could be established to let people inspect their loadout on both sides.
I think more randomness equals more fun and matches the spirit of the mode.
-
No thank you. Even though i regularily get garbage or actively hindering addons in this mode, that is the exact spirit of the experience.
-
I love the mode, but this time it has been rough on me so far.
-
Indoor maps are a part of the game. It's annoying to play tricksters delusion or gideon several times in an evening, but the one single autohaven or macmillan can fix me right up again.
-
Wasn't that fun in my experience too. I remembered it more fondly.
On another note, the "Knockout Remox" tomb challenges are currently bugged and can only be completed in chaos shuffle, so get em while it's here!

Pick up another killer. I enjoy chucky and win quite consistently with him. Maybe he's not for you.

Castlevania chapter 2 please. It would be a great chance to bring in the legendary skins of the castlevania cosplays like Shanoa and Simon Belmont, and possibly dracula's castle. The killer could be Death. If ur interested i also made a chapter 2 concept post in the feedback section. Theres still a ton of content possible.
I scrolled down until i saw your name lol knew you would be here
I really want a chapter 2 for halloween and nightmare on elm street.
Mikey and Laurie deserve new skins, haddonfield is iconic and there are a few more survivor options.
Freddy needs SOME skins and MY BOY TOO
Oh and that way BHVR could clear up the mess that is the badham realm.
-
That's also my experience. Hit and Run almost never works for me.

Turn back the clock interaction is not that broken, he just gets one free hit and that's only if survivors are not using SB and for that free hit you need to hook a survivor and if survivors pay enough attention then they can pre-run and get to a resource before this happens, it's just not that broken, also serpent is literally a meme add-on and nerfs you in chase if you want to break a pallet while cloaked and using the breaking speed add-on.
TBTC interaction is not as broken as many people think. While uncloaking he still has a short amount of time not being able to hit. Enough for a fast vault for example.
-
I adore current genetic limits. It's niche but real good on some killers.
-
@Wiccamanplays said:
Dealing with the infinite pallets you have on most maps right now really sucks for him if you're not running his action speed addon, but you also need uncloak speed addon to make his power actually lethal, and you need movement speed to outpace Survivors who prerun, and then you never get the chance to run any other more interesting addons... he feels quite bad at the moment, I'm not going to lie. He needs an addon pass which makes some of the effects basekit while reworking the ones that just do the same thing at slightly different levels (he's one of the only Killers left whose whole addon paradigm works this way).
Yeah i think three addons essentially doing the same is weird.

I enjoy a challenge. Not everything has to be easy mode. I dont have to win in the easiest way possible and thats good. I liked Sadako 1.0 for exactly that reason. I didnt use iri tape or ring drawing. Neither did I slug. I still got my condemned moris. In fact, I got so good at it, that I was rank 4 on the global leaderboard back then.
Was it hard? Yes. Did I want it to be any different backk then? Not in regard to it being challenging.
If people want easy mode, then they can do that by playing Nurse, Ghoul or Vecna 2.0. Not everything has to be an overtuned nightmare.
I do agree, i play billy with speed limiter (or whatever this addons called now) and no perks or another addon to challenge myself quite often.

Excellent ragebait my man, go on to places!

NOT THE GENETIC LIMITS 😭

This chapter got created by the developers like any other chapter. The community was only the "idea guy" here. There is absolutely no reason to ask for it for free, especially because IT IS FREE IF YOU PLAY THE GAME FOR A WHILE.
You entitled brats you!😡🔥

The golden age of lithe is about to start. Sprintburst was a staple perk for years in my standard survivor build, i'll have to adapt.

I know right, it's so beautifully chaotic. As much as I'm annoyed by the inconsistence of this game sometimes, I just feel like it's fun to see which bugs this game will develope over the time xD
That being said it must be a nightmare to work on this game, I can kinda feel the pain as I work as a webdeveloper :D xD
I work in tech too, mainly backend and dev ops, and i definitly wouldn't wanna switch with any of the devs creating the game.
I rather develop some boring customer management infrastructure and get payed well than maintaining a game infrastructure that was built on blueprints and never really refactored in an organized manner. 😅
EDIT: (and get payed less probably🫠)

My favorite is still the one where you unhooked and dropped a palette at the same time and the survivor was then teleported to the palette. It was so beautifully random xD
Omg i forgot about that one, just free tunneling/escapes if you got the timing right or wrong.

I know right? :-(
There is a bug, when you TP, you think you failed the TP and at the end of the animation you get instant TP where you were looking. This bug comes back every once in a while. Idk how it is possible.
I also enjoy second blink cancel, where you get rewarded with a wildly shaking camera and a longer fatigue.

Funny, that you mention her, as she's been my second main ever since she came out. I win even more matches playing her.
As i've said, mastering a killer will yield good results, but with some the matches are easier than with others.
-
In dearly hope dbd won't go down the path of keeping killers with a high skill floor viable. The crayon man is a sickness.

Every time I read something like this, I start to wonder how I made it through almost 6 years by playing Pig.
Easy. By playing m1 well and mastering her traps. Its still enough to win a majority of my games.
Sure, by mastering a rather weak killer you will still win often. But for me it feels like a marathon with sadako when i couldve a walk in the park with billy.
-
Huntress just needs something. A mobility power of some kind would work wonders for her, but wouldn't fit her theme. Just making her stronger would make her possible unfun in chase.
I have no idea how to buff huntress, but she really needs it.
-
@BlightedDolphin said:
He’s alright, probably mid tier. Slightly worse now because of pallet density.
However I love him as he is because he can utilise perks better than most killers with much more versatility.
M1 perks work on him, but unlike other M1 killers he can actually use them pretty well because he has mobility, stealth, and a decent chase power. Getting at least one hit isn’t an issue for Wraith.
Perks that require mobility work well on him. He can run gen kick perks because you don’t waste as much time kicking with him. Exposed perks work great because he has mobility, stealth, and is a basic attack. Perks that would otherwise be mediocre are less situational when you have stealth. He can use tracking perks well because of his mobility and stealth.
Whenever I want to try out a fun perk build, Wraith is usually my go to because of how most perks just work better on him.
I never thought of him that way, he can utilize almost any perk to some degree. Very versatile.
-
I'm just not trying to get kills most of the time. Sometimes i could sonetimes i couldn't, but i'm never gonna kill the cute witcher family with the random steve thrown in.

I got used to playing pre spamako - Sadako, and i'd play entirely for the on/off stealth mid chase. I also have skull merchant as one of my mains for on/off strealth. The main difference with wraith is that he announces himself more, but gets the mini dash to help with attacks, Which around certain loops can be pretty tough to avoid, and can probably be paired with extended lunge perks.
I noticed it also kinda helps to know how to play pig as her dash is almost in the same boat. And requires similar mind gaming
Yeah i mostly play killer that tend to avoid 50/50 and M1 gameplay, so i'm less used to it i guess. :/

id rather face ghoul than wraith. I hope they add ghoul to 2v8 because I'm sick of this boring guy.

@radiantHero23 said:
"m1 sickness"
Sheeesh. The core gameplay of dbd - killer is now a sickness. That's how far we've gotten.
It's sadly like that. If you don't got a strong chase or setup power, you are going to have a bad time as killer easy as is.
-
Omg hag got breasts i cant contain myself hold me back
-
I think his croaking breath sound is what makes him so un-stealthy opposed to his cloak.
-
@HoodedWildKard said:
Having played a few games with him again I understand why wraiths have a reputation for tunneling. He's immensley reliant on his addons and he doesn't work very well as a stealth killer unless you run coxcomb clapper, or that broken af turn back the clock interaction, which I refuse to use.
Without that iri addon he suffers very badly to prerunning when he tries to uncloak, against survs who are aware enough to see him while cloaked and can run a decent chase he really stuggles. His only good skill expression is bodyblocking pallets for an uncloak and hit.
His base power is just very ineffective and powercrept in today's dbd. He could do with maybe being harder to detect while cloaked and make bone clapper basekit just to make it a little more difficult to prerun him and give him a little passive map pressure.
I think bone clapper basekit is a great idea. It would bridge the gap between directional uncloak and silent uncloak!
-
@ShanoaLegendaryPlz said:
When using him i don't tend to rely too much on the addons. I got one uncloak speed and the other just "they can't hear which direction the bell is coming from". I find its more about getting used to on/off stealth, and when to go in and out of cloak mid chase to use the lil sprint burst he gets - aggresively. Aside from that, knowing where you can body block with your speed.
He also excells at catching injured people while healing, since he has lots of speed while cloaked and can use the nurses perk to find vulnerable targets quickly, to either get quick downs or apply more injury pressure. Hes not like legion for keeping the whole team injured, but better at ambushing them while trying to cut through antiheal perks.
I tend to do well enough with him. If you just chase people m1 out of cloak the whole time of course it'l often be in the survivors favor, but he can afford to drop a chase any time and find another person out in the open very quickly.
In my experience, survivors tend to position themselves very well against my potential uncloaks. HitnRun doesnt work for me at all sadly.
-
@Shroompy said:
One of the most balanced killers but heavily add on reliant. Would love to see an add on pass for him since the large majority of them are just the exact same but with different numbers. Like we dont need 3 different swift hunts
That's what i am seein too. I think a portion of the values as basekit, strong single addons for each effect and a few more creative addon options would work wonders.
-
I mean yeah. Adjusting bad perks so they find a nice niche is always a good idea.
