Don't add lanterns to lights out, add this instead.
Lights out is an insanely fun game mode but instead of a lantern lets add on a new lights out addon for flashlights.
Rechargable Battery - Last 5 times longer, no longer blinds the killer, only useable in lights out. Allows a flashlight to be brought in to lights out. Repairing a generator recharges the flashlights durability over time. Flashlights light beams can be seen by everyone including the killer. Aiming the beam at a pallet or window for 3 seconds will show the aura of pallet and window for 90 seconds when within 32 meters to all survivors. Only one pallet or window can be shown at any time.
The flashlights duration time and beam brightness will be on the type of flashlight with higher quality ones doing better. During the event the probability for flashlights to show up in the blood web should be higher.
However if you don't bring one you can find flashlights of lowest tier in game around the map and in chests:
Leaking Rechargable Battery: Same as above but only last 2x longer but decays over time on its own, will take 2 minutes to fully deplete by itself from full charge. The item is dropped upon escaping the trial. Upon losing all charges the flashlight is destroyed.
This would make it a bit more fun and strategic.

Not a bad idea, worth a try.
Sounds a lot better and more immersive than a candle giving WoO for free to everyone which kills the point of Lights Out.
Still need to ban Meyers, Ghost Face and Legion from that mode.
Legion is a weird one since his power is SUPPOSE to be based off TR. I feel like if they fixed it still somehow working with no TR, it should be fine.
