Complaints about Perks giving BP is funny to me.
From how i see it, some MORE Perks could be giving some more BP.
Got Empathy? Increase BP gained for meeting up with an Injured Survivor.
Got Save The Best For Last? Increase the BP gain for successful hits a tiny tad with each Token.
Got Plunderer's Instinct? Obviously, get some extra for completing the Search action.
Etc. etc.
As long as the numbers on them are low enough, it can't break the BP economy as only 4 Perks can be equipped.
And Survivors can truly use a lil BP boost regardless of all this.
I second this.
More bps for all

I thought they were doing it just before the DLC dropped? We are coming upon Friday the 13th, after all; double bloodpoints would be a way to celebrate it.
Is it really worth it before the dlc? The dlc drop is when I'll actually spend bps

My thoughts exactly XD
And to the op, you know pig can kick gens right?

Can you imagine if it gave a boost on speed?
Stun the killer for 3 seconds while you speed away. So broken :p

Unless you're hag. Then you still won't see the survivors but you also won't see anything else...XD

Has anyone ever been banned or given a warning after being reported for cheating or misconduct?
I know I have reported players in the past either for harassing or cheating but never know what the outcome is.
Anyways, I was playing a while ago and in the game killer and 2 players were in cohoots together. Killer never attacked them and just tunneled me and one other random player. As soon as we were placed on the hooks the players teamed up with killer would remove us from the hook with the killer still in area (no borrowed time or flashlights or blocking hits) After we died I decided to spectate because it just seemed rather fishy that killer never went after the other two. And sure enough then killer was letting friends repair all gens and they were farming points. They were pretty high ranked and their skill checks were terrible! I messaged killer and mentioned I had been observing and said I reported the incident and shortly after he killed his teammates but they had already racked up tons of points in the process. I checked their profiles and they were all from some Latin American country.
In any case I know some people play with friends to farm points or what not. Just think it's unfair when you are ruining other players game play. I don't like losing rank especially when it isn't my fault. Like when a killer rage quits or other players do.

Did you save the match? Ps4 does that with the share button.

Better idea: Nessie looks like a survivor at first, but when it asks for 350 BP you realize it's the killer.
This legit broke me XD

Now that wishlist doesn’t exist anymore, I didn’t know where this belong.
Any who I wish there was a way to be able to spectate other players games. This would include survivors/killers. Block out their names ofc until the end of the game.
There are times I just want to watch other people play. And yes, I know there are streamers but I’m not a fan of the talking/screaming. There are very few streamers who don’t talk in their videos.
People would abuse this a lot...

I actually thought about unlocking Ruin since I have the BP now to do so. After a lot of thought, I decided against it. It's not really going to fit my play style, and I think I might be able to get better mileage out of other perk combinations.
Now, I'm not purple or red ranked and also not very experienced in DbD gameplay, but for me, I'm going to skip it. I'm also not a fan of Hex Totem perks in general. Too much spawn RNG for my tastes, when I can run more consistent perks or perk combinations.
Idk... hexes can be fun.
It feels so rewarding when you manage to protect devour hope until 5 stacks.
Same with lullaby, only a bit less since you can't really act on it, it's passive.

Lady Midday
I think this "creature" is known in many countries in Europe, not just in mine (Czech republic).
So the origin of this noon demon (usually portrait as an old lady in old damaged clothes - but I also heard she is somewhere portrait as a young woman so I guess it is up to the region where we live) is that she basically guards fields and crops during the hot midday summers and if she catches a worker on the field she will chop his head off with her scythe/or curse him with a heatstroke. (Kids are often being scared with this demon, because during summer kids want to play outside and their mothers want them home by noon - to have some lunch - so if the kids stay out they'll be kidnapped by this old lady).
That's really cool.
Also, the stuff parents say for kids to obey... "if you don't return by lunch you'll lose your head." XD

German guy here.
As impersonation seems to be a rather popular killer concept, the "Doppelgänger" might fit. Although i dont really see whats scary about seeing yourself, as i am a twin lol. Sadly pragmatically/realistically, any type of impersonator/shapeshifter type wouldnt work too well in this game for obvious reasons.
Apparently we got sirens in the rhine, another popular concept.
Alps as in "Alptraum" are some fairy folk responsible for bad dreams. I dont say nightmare for this as those are some sort of spirit horses ("night-mare"). Could be wrong but alp might be used as a name for dark elves like drow sometimes in modern literature.
----
That dude with the giant scissors from the "thumbsucker" short story (damn those "dont do that"-stories for kids are dark ), atleast clown would get someone to compare collections to.
They really are dark, people just expect children to only think of the superficial stuff

I know this is making it messy, but what if as soon as you got a killer at Rank 9 then all your killer ranks get automatically set to 10? There are less new players there and I think thats when people start to get a clue.
Too much.
Have it 5-8 ranks below your best ranked killer.
There's no difference from rank 9 to 10

Why? Do you not want people to gain bp?

@FriendlyGuy said:
Adrenaline needs a little nerf, only the duration of the sprintburst.
BBQ is somewhat busted, just remove BP bonus.
Dead Hard is way too strong against certain killers, maybe double the exhaustion time.
Ruin needs some change. It's basically an objective on high ranks and way too powerful on low ranks.
NOTE: new perks excluded
Bbq...busted?
You know everyone only uses it because of the double bps right?

Nah. Even if it gets cleansed in 1 min, thats 1 minute where at least 1 person didnt do gens.
@Yamaoka said:
Against bad survivors: "Yes."
You don't need any perks/addons or any specific killer to beat bad survivors (who can be found at any rank including rank1).
If it gets destroyed in less than 1 minute: "Yes."
If it gets cleansed in less than a minute (typically 30 seconds give or take if it's a bad totem spawn) you're basically playing a 3-perk game with nothing to slow the game down unless you run a backup perk like PGTW.
Against decent survivors and with a good totem spawn: "Not a wasted perk slot at all."
Even Elite survivors like Puppers mess up skillchecks here and there as long as Ruin is up.
Agaisnt bad survivors ruin pretty much garantees iridescent in gen protection by itself. Can't be a waste if gets you a pip right?

Any 3K is a win for me, pip or no pip. Similarly as a survivor, I will still claim the win if I escape, no matter how badly I did for the rest of the trial.
I find it amazing when streamers hook nearly everyone the maximum amount of times but someone finds the hatch and they call that a loss!
That's because at red ranks you need the 4k to pip.
I heard...never paid attention to it.
-
I will tell you when I play it.
But I do enjoy the song, from watching the videos

This david brought the killer towards me( he didnt know I was there, but still)
He switches targets and starts following me.
He was trapper, he trapped the loop david used, I fell for it.
Upon seeing me trapped he went after david, I assume...because while I was trying to free myself, david decided to run away from the killer towards me, in a pallet, while I was trapped.
He cant pass, because colision, so he gets hit and drops the pallet to pass, pushing me towards trapper, and wasting a pallet that could save me.
No one saved me on the hook until I started struggling, even when they saw that david was found and downed somewhat far away. They both finished their gens before getting me.
After that I got moried. Not instantly, I managed to fix half a gen before he found me, and david. He decided to follow me.
After that I queued again for another match...that one was great

As some have already stated I'd love a Wendigo but the devs said the Hag is based off a Wendigo so that's probably off the menu. The other two are either the Lizard Man or, of course, Mothman.
There's actually a lizard woman in brazillian folklore.
Her name is Cuca, she's a witch and she kidnaps and/or eats children. There's a lullaby involving her telling the kid to sleep, because she's coming. And mom went to the farm and dad went to work.
It's actually kinda messed up when you think about it. :p

I play LF mostly so saving in my face is asking for death.
It is very satisfying to turn 1 hook into 2 because the survivors forgets you can down both at once

@GrootDude said:
If I don’t have an obsession then I tunnel, more effective.
If I have a obsession then I slug recently unhooked people.
I do the second all the time, with or without obsession. More pressure. (Don't unhook the guy without bt if I'm close, I'll down him, negating your points and chase you)
And of they didn't pick the guy up until I get back, I just eat the ds
-
I don't see it. Currently purple ranks.
Tunnelers are quite rare in my experience.
As in, they ignore others to come chase me after I unhooked.

Pallethaven. Or I guess autohaven.
Everything is too short so no mindgames, and safe pallets everywhere.

Wider range to pick up traps (you've got to be *juuuuuuuust* right to pick up the traps) and maybe increase the number of traps he can carry without an add-on (2 or so?)
Don't you just love inching foward to pick up a trap without stepping on it?

So if i have this right, it unfair to the killer cuz the survivor who's 3 other team mates were out played and that survivor didn't play well enough to carry 3 other players in the match should only have like a 10% chance of escape?
I guess it makes sense, it would kinda be like if killer got something stupid like one hit downs and speed boost for all the gens being done. xD
I don't think people are asking for a 50/50 shot at EGC but it shouldn't be 90% hopeless either.
It could be something small like hatch reopening after a minute. They could still just close it again but It would make killers add the hatch to their patrol during EGC just enough to add play and in turn "fun" for both sides.
Patrolling 2 gates is already a lot sometimes.
The egc is there to put an end to the game, not for the survivor to have a last chance of escape.(that is the hatch)

@UltraBanana said:
Trapper is made for camping. Once you trap an area it's foolish to leave because people can get out of the traps in like 10 seconds or less; so you need to be right there to scoop them up.
You shouldn't really be getting looped for half the map as trapper. Break chase if the survivors know what they are doing and trap an area instead; then chase through that. As you get better you will know the best places to trap to stop the loops. He's one of the only killers that can shut down the stupid god windows that for some still reason exist in the game.
Basement trapper is the best; iron grasp + agitation might be overkill but I would always run at least agitation to extend your basement threat and be able to carry people to more camp-able hooks.
I don't think his ultra rares are his best add-ons. It has to be extra dark traps or the dying state traps. Dark traps will catch even experienced survivors off-guard and dying traps are super strong. I run those and a trapper bag every time I can.
But honestly at the end of the day, trapper is just a worse hag. Everything trapper does, hag does way better.
Can hag grab things on the top shelf like trapper does? Didn't think so. XD

No thanks.
I don't want the music to lower for spirit.
I want it to lower in general.
Your opinion is wrong, the game was designed around using your ears. The music stops that

I still think is bs, the objetive of ruin is prevent you to get the repairs and force you to look for the totem , or go for the great skill checks (better ranks), doing the tapping trick let you repair, with toolbox and another survivor is like no ruin at all.
You spend just as much time not on the gen as you spend on the gen.
Don't know if it really saves time over powering through
-
Plague suffers with it too
-
@Strange said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/679753#Comment_679753
You don't even need to look for it, you can bypass the skill checks just standing, then repairing and repeat every 1 or 2 seconds, and boom, no skill checks and you did the gen with ruin.
Idk if it's intended, a bug or just a big ''whoops'' from devs, but doing that you can laught at ruin any time.
Not intended, but it does wastes time which os the objective of ruin. So...go ahead?
-
@TWiXT said:
First, that would make them less unique from each other, and like the survivors, killers would just become skins. Second, there was a bug that allowed this back in the day, and trust me, Myers with a chainsaw was both hilarious, and broken as hell. The main reason being that he still maintained his tiny TR, and if he could use every killers powers, why would anyone choose any of the other killers?
Because Hag with chainsaw sounds hilarious?
Or phasing clown.
