In that case, he already lost the match, the killer could've just slug the guy and he wouldn't need to "cheese" the mechanics to get him down ASAP.
Oh, I agree. See my post above yours. It was a series of misplays on the survivors side

Lol.
Balance the game around the 1% of Survivors, but please don’t balance the Killers around the top 1% 😊.
Here’s the chart if anyone wants to see what actually playing solo at R1 is like :
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Fmwuhlmag8s32myoqtKQvCxneF5WNWhRvE4bz6pWfRQ/edit?usp=sharing
Do the same with a team of 4 later. I wanna compare them (will also do this when I reach rank1...eventually)

How did you have BT on you if you were the last guy alive ? You think I am stupid or what ?
He explained, he got saved in a bad time and got hit, activating bt.
After that the killer chased, downed and hooked the last survivor and also found the op before he could mend
-
12.5% decrease would be so bs. So bs.
Just have it that when a gen pops, all other gens get blocked for X seconds. Progress isn't lost, but you can't continue progress.
-
I think that would be too much information, but it would be nice to have a grunt or something when it reaches 50 or 75%. Just so you know you don't havr much time left
-
After reading everything, this was just you getting outplayed.
The other survivor saved you inside the terror radious, risky play.
He was chasing someone else, you had time to mend.
You either started mending early, meaning you had a big bar, or late meaning you wasted a lot of time running and had a small bar. Meaning you either had time to go to a pallet or you took to long and gave up options to run more.
He found you easily, you hid poorly or he got lucky, either way, not a ghostface problem.
He smartly hid himself so deep wounds would down you while staying close.
You could have blocked line of sight and continued to mend, or gone to a pallet to mend in the first place, so this situation wouldn't even happen.
At the end of it all, you only get deep wounds against ghostface if someone with borrowed time does an unsafe unhook, he hits you and has time to stalk you while you mend. It's such a small chance it's ridiculous to consider that makes him unbalanced in any way.
And your counters to wraith and pig don't really apply.
Pig can follow you easily to avoid you healing by crouch/walking.
And wraith will just block a good path and uncloak right in your face for a down.
To me, it just looks like you got salty he didn't just chase you, which would have given you a chance of escaping but instead he did the better play which increased his chances of winning

People seem to regard this as a very bad pairing and I think I see why. Some consoles struggle with frame rates, apparently, and controllers might not be adequate for the split-second timing she requires.
Does anyone play her on console anyway? Is it worth it to try learning her? Are there any special tips or tricks to be aware of that make the experience less painful? Can console Nurse generate as much survivor salt as PC Nurse?
My console is Xbox One X, for the record, though I'm eager to hear from anyone who plays on PS4 or uses a controller on PC.
Is not as easy to get salt, there's extra steps to messaging people, the salt needs to be real XD

His mori would probably be rated R, XD

Hardly a buff, just a qol change
-
Trapper. It's so satisfying to get people in traps.
Had such a fun game with him today, probably got around 7-8 traps to activate. It's great.
But I also really enjoy ghostface and hag

If Nurse and Doctor can get add-ons that act as training wheels for their powers, I don't see why this can't be any different. IMO, the real skill on Huntress isn't aim, but rather knowing when it's appropriate to take out the hatchet to begin with.
Doctor has a training wheel add-on?
-
According to int3r4ct's video on ghostface. There's a 0.3second buffer after ghostface isn't being seen, where it acts like it's being seen.
Meaning you only look at him for 1.2 second and he will get revealed anyway

I'm gonna post so I get notified of any good ones people put here. I wish I still had some sweeter clips but the few I actually happened to record got deleted ages ago and I have't really had anything wholesome happen in a while outside of the end game chat that I didn't personally initiate (and I'm sure those do't count)
You only get notified if someone quotes you or @ you.
Better idea would be to favorite the page
-
Really depends on who you ask.
I really enjoy ghostface, but his perks are a bit underwhelming. Trilling tremors being the best one. And people say his detection is kinda broken (personally, I never saw it, but I don't play with him all that much)

I guess someone is still salty that MoM threatened their 4K. If you have no respect for opinions why are you even on here?
I only started playing after the MoM nerf.
I don't respect opinions, I respect people. If your opinion is wrong, then I'll tell you it is, unless there's other 15 posts around the opinion saying why it's wrong.
And I'll take no advice on respecting others from someone who strawmans the other side.

But if you want me to put it in more words... your post in so out of reality that it shows you probably won't accept any opinions that contradict it, meaning I probably won't bother giving a well though out response

i just love playing as spirit. shes the only killer you can stand still at a pallet and get a survivor to come right towards you. its really funny and just really enjoyable to do. im still at lower ranks so i dont know if survivors fall for this at higher ranks, but where im at it works most of the time.
Works sometimes, depends on how often you do it
-
What I find that helps me out, is leveling a different character than what I'm playing.
I'm currently leveling the pig(with the extra bp, I'm saving 1m for nancy) but I'm playing the other killers I already leveled up, or survivors that I have levelled up. This gives me more bloodpoints per match than when I played whoever I was leveling. And it doesn't really matter if the add-ons get scarce, because I have a fully levelled character to play as( fully levelled = got the teachables I wanted)
For instance, I was leveling the clown while playing meg, leveling meg while playing legion... so on and so forth
-
@TRB124 said:
Funny how killers get access to a wide range of perks and powers that take away a health state yet something that gives the survivors an extra health state is considered broken...
-
He's super fun to play as, and vs.
Never had this exposure through walls thing happen to me...
-
Just luck. It's way more likely that you get any other perk than the one you want
-
When phasing spirit already has no music. Its so much easier to track
-
For a solo survivor, it's ok.
For a swf team... op

Recently, I started doing push-ups/sit-ups/whatever else when waiting as Killer.
Turns the gaming into a sort of healthy activity. Also a good way to help let off some steam, especially if your previous match was a bad one.
The problem is when the waiting periods go into the 20/30 minute zones and you get matches that last not even five minutes. At that point I'm doing more working out then playing...
I salute you sir. Or madam

I type this comment

...I hate how much I like this...
Except for the no self heal while slugged and instaexplosion when leaving the gen. Those seem way too good

No. You waste a lot of time healing yourself. As a killer, I apreciate you not doing gens for a long period of time.
That said, nothing wrong with using it

Clown power is weak, doesn't help him in chases, or map control. That's why people call him M1 killer
Still don't know what's your point but anyway
It slows down survivors so he catches up more easily, in what way does that not help him in chases?
The point is, power helping in chases is a bad definition of a killer being a m1 killer or not
-
@PoisonN said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/673265#Comment_673265
I can't understand stand your point, what does Clown do? Bottles to slow survivors, ok. But survivors still can deal with his power and avoid it with no difficulties. Spirit and Nurse, you just teleport and hit them fast. They aren't killers running for hours in circles, unless the players are inexperienced
You can't really compare Clown, Pig, Plague, Legion, Trapper and Wraith at the level of Spirit, Billy, Nurse, Huntress or Hag. Huntress need to get her hatchets and Hag's traps can be countered but both powers still usefull during the chases, the rest is just lucky (Trapper traps) or circunstancial (Plague with corrupt purge)
You said
@PoisonN said:
Nobody is gonna use Nurse or Spirit as a M1 killer because their power actually helps during the chase
And clowns power also helps during chases, meaning, by your definition, clown isn't a m1 killer

I miss the laugh react. Anyone have that jpeg? Clown bottles certainly do help in a chase and with tracking. It's not situational at all. Yes, you closed off a loop. That indeed helps with the chase. Period. It's like saying Trappers traps don't stop loops as well. Yes, he is a m1 killer but with a very strong m2.
I have a few laugh images saved...

Steve and Nancy aren't adults. So i dont know what's the problem of having kids.
and IT has their grown up version, so that's fine by me anyway.. And we could have at least Hooper from ST.
The devs said it themselves, no one wants to hit and hook kids.
And steve and nancy are from season 3, when they are adults

Not much.
Hoo boy, they get one less loop off. Such excitement.
And no, it doesn't count. And no, it doesn't add up.
So it reduces the chase, but doesn't help in a chase? Seems a bit contradictory don't you think?
Which goes back to the premise, "if the power helps in a chase, it's not a m1 killer"
I like my definition better, m1 killers are killers that need to play the loop game. Nurse and spirit do not
-
@gcardoso said:
You guys think they will add more characters from TV / Cinema to this game ??
With Stranger Things , this give me expectations in the future.. Specially wishing IT to come out since 2017.
Pennywise as Killer, Bill and Beverly as survivors (kid version or adult) with the sewer / town map.
would like to see more survivors from stranger things as well..
We'll never get kids as survivors.

So does clowns. Is he not a m1 killer?
-
@blue4zion said:
The best way I can describe it, is its just a quick way of saying the killer's power doesn't help deal damage/the power itself doesn't deal damage.
Plague without corrupted purge is an M1 killer, Plague with corrupted purge is not.
By that definition, all killers aren't m1 killers.
They all help deal damage, or just deal damage.
Plague kinda deals damage with her m2, everyone is broken eventually
-
M1 refers more to killers that need to play the loop game.
Nurse and spirit use m2 to ignore those

I prefer people to call Gorgon "it, they, them" too but people are still calling them "he, him."
In the end, I don't believe it matters what people like to call them. Demogorgons don't have the concept of gender. They aren't even people.
I also don't really care, I call it a him all the time.
Just saying that oficially, it's genderless

Lmao you got a point there with the pale man.
But with Alien for example, I am a huge fan of the movies, but they dont fit at all in dbd
Think of the gameplay of alien isolation(which the fanbase really likes, i like it too) and then think of dbd... I think it fits.
It also means we get ripley, so win-win

Light Yagami as survivor
New perks:
- Once you have seen the killer for 5/4/3 seconds, this perk activates. Press E while standing still to write the killer's name in the death note and instantly kill them.
- Start the match with 6/8/10 tokens. Press 3 to consume 1 token and eat a potato chip. The exclamation you make while doing so will create a noise notification and alert the killer.
- Once 60/50/40 seconds have passed since the start of the match, this perk activates. Quitting the game will instead write your own name in the death note and kill you. You will black pip and keep any bloodpoints you earned.
I'll take those potato chips, and eat them!

Yes, but since he wants to prestige them, getting more perks would be a waste of bp
