I know this is going to sound dramatic and we as players have no idea what happened but I think DBD losing the Stranger Things License is the absolute worst thing that’s happened to this game. As we all surely know by now all stranger things related content in the game will be removed or repurposed, aside from the 3 characters it launched with. All stranger things perks will become general perks and Nancy, Steve, and demo will become exclusive to people who have purchased the DLC before November. I like many others absolutely loved this map. It was a great indoor msp and has become integrated into the fabric of the game. Having whole maps dissappear in this game is not only tragic but damaging. Whats next? Which dlc map will just be taken out. What killers will become extinct due to no new players owning them? Your main priority is completeing generators and sitting on a loading bar, which isnt fun most of the time. the most thrill people get playing survivor and it is why people play survivor is to do chases, but that involves putting yourself in harms way on purpose. Just curious. Not saying that it is a "win", but if the match was fun, you had good chases and made lots of points, and two survivors escaped, would you be satisfied? It’s never happened to me before, but now I’ve experienced it 3 times this week. The killer is friendly. He nods, he spins, he swipes at the air - gives all indications that he wants to farm. Survivors all crawl out of the woodwork and take hits - lots of points for killer. We start healing up, but never get to finish because he suddenly decides to down everyone. I just used a purple fog offering on Coldwind and it was just the odd patches of thin black fluff. Any chance they can bring back what was a fun and atmospheric element of the game? When devs changed undying they let you keep all token if a hex perk of yours is getting cleansed to make this perk work better with hexes that are not ruin. It takes a few months for me to be in a game with undying being used but no ruin. What is your experience? Title. For me, the advice for both sides would be to keep your cool and take your time. It's too easy as a newbie Survivor to panic vault or not pause in the correct place in the loop, and get downed for it. Alternatively, you get your first down and 2 or so gens have popped. Playing only Survivor or only Killer will severely limit your potential on both roles. To play optimally against a Killer, you have to fully understand their mechanics and playstyle. You will not get enough from experience playing against them if you never play as them and vice versa with Survivors. Counterplay options are different on both sides as well as the experiences. I still prefer things that make me more powerful rather than stalling the game, but i do kinda like that such a Perk can do this chore for you. Probably why i have a bit of a bias towards Surge: Can be quite unreliable due to where you do the downing, but it's still neato. This is a hot take but hear me out... I feel like only killers should be able to use map offerings...not survivors. Most survivor builds don't need a certain map to work, whereas killers using maps allows build enabling perks and add ons (Jumpscare Myers). I loved this game so much, played non-stop with friends, and as killer, but I don’t play anymore. It’s crazy ro think about a game you absolutely loved and now you barely even touch it.
