I made a post over 2 years ago complaining about the Endurance status effect Survivors get after being unhooked being used offensively instead of defensively; and in this time I've done some thinking on it. Hex : Builds that use this perk have the rng where it could be the worst case is it's the first hex totem to be cleansed or the last one. I think this amount of RNG does not belong in modern DBD. I've been playing dead by daylight as a survivor and killer for many years, what's up with the recent hook changes? Not only do sacrificial hooks respawn, but there are hooks every 10 meters. This essentially makes sabotage builds or boil over style builds obsolete. Before I rant about this issue, I'd just like to mention I've played dbd since launch in 2016. Never in all of my years of playing have I gotten banned for a full 24 HOURS due to server issues beyond my control. For the past 2-3 months, I boot up a game of survivor or killer and about 1 in 3 games everything just stalls out and I get disconnected at seemingly random times in the match. Literally, we can't play the game against this killer. He moves so fast, so every map is small for him, he can hit while literally flying, AND EVEN WORSE, he can hit with his ability from back of the walls, after dropping a pallet, he even can do it. 99/100 matches are against The Ghoul. Deathslinger is a fun concept for a killer but the execution is… rather unremarkable. He appears a lot in mid b tier, a weak killer, and with constant reloading he can feel quite annoying to play as. Here are his problems and my proposed changes to address this: Slow feeling (4.4 + constant reloading): Deathslinger now has 2 shots. Reload time is 2.25 seconds for each shot. When a survivor hides in a locker, they shouldn't be revealed by any means. Hiding in a locker is a huge risk and should be rewarded. Killers are rewarded when they search lockers by grabbing and hooking the survivor instantly. But survivors are like a victim when the killer has an aura-reading perk or killer instinct. I would want to suggest a single mechanic that would make it easier to spend the millions of bloodpoints that we as players get constantly and cant even give out properly(cuz we get so much). You should add a mechanic in the bloodweb, where we get to choose on how many bps we want to spend(max. for eg: 5million). Terror radius perks are rarely used aside from doctor. I try to give them potential for good synergies and make them more appealing for all types of killers. If you for some reason want to change your terror radius as trapper or your lullaby radius as Onryo, there is your chance. Nurse Can't see survivor's aura while charging the blink. I think she was gatekeeping aura reading perks for long enough.
