The DLC has been removed for a month now and even a new chapter has been released, but the perks are still not general and the achievements are still listed on Steam as obtainable. While your Aura is revealed to the Killer, Premonition activates and notifies you. If Premonition has been active for a total of 30/25/20 seconds, you see the Killer's aura for 3 seconds, and Premonition's timer resets. Traper Traps spawn armed at pallets and windows. Smaller terror radius (24 or 28meters) to make locating the tarps more difficult. He can carry 4 traps. Rearming and setting up traps is faster. Everytime I play as and against mastermind, the Killer tends tk dash into obstacles that should allow them to slide off & stop at others, I just had a match where wesker dashed into a wall and slid off instead of stopping while stopping on a corner where, visibly, wasn't even close to, and stopped him entirely instead of sliding off. I've been using the devour hope hex for a bit with spirit and it has always given exposed to ALL survivors at 3 stack, no matter where they are. Here's the thing Lights out was about like 4 or 5 days and choas was a week long but 2v8...two weeks yeah no I'm sorry but it's a game mode that overstays it's welcome. Atrocious queue time for killer and even then terrible killer match where you get destroyed if you don't have a legion on your team. Plus after a while I gets dull because you know what to expect. I main killer, but I am coming from a perspective that perks shouldn't really matter. It should primarily be that whatever issue a killer has, such as struggling with pallets or vault locations, is solved within that killers kit. If Trapper struggles at pallets, give him a higher number of Traps he can carry, and make the finishing trap set up sound quieter. So I know this a minor me thing, but I feel like this is a genuine oversight that needs to be addressed. There is a perk called Human Greed. This perk shows you temporarily the aura of Survivors when they go near a chest. This means the killer should want there to be as many chests as possible. For add ons, there isn't really anything. i get that old tinkerer was really opressive and stuff,but it was honestly SO FUN going with or against with the perk. Obviously in todays meta its unbalanced so i have a few suggestions to make it actually work. 1-time based- tinkerer works as usual, but only activates once a machine is done, for lets say 15-30 seconds. SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: After the SteamOS big update to 3.7.8 on my Steam Deck every time I try to start Dead by Daylight it shows the initial screen, then a black screen while the starting movie should be playing, then after that the DbD logo appears but no text shows up and in about 2 or 3 seconds the game crashes with an UE crash without any errors. One thing that I enjoyed about the tomes was having challenges with specific requirements such as using random perks or doing tasks as a particular character. It was nice to dust of characters I don't play as very often or focus on a particular playstyle when I wasn't sure what I wanted to play.
