Has been the case ever since they started doing these bundles. Just straight up unable to buy those if it's just a single charm you're missing. Meanwhile, until they fix/change it; you can contact support and they will usually give it to you for free.
-
@Kaitri Still works fine for me, is it on a specific killer where it doesn't work?
-
I'm thinking they may have been running Vigil, which would have lowered the duration of the Exposed effect, so it may have expired already for them.

pretty sure ascended is like legendary+
Kind of the other way around. Legendaries are more expensive than ascended skins.
From the dev stream a while back they said Ascended skins feature extra VFX but aren't quite "Ultra Rare", not sure what makes a skin qualify for a Legendary exactly, but my guess would be significant model changes or very unique appearances. -

I had the same thought myself, but personally I think that number would be okay if you could just keep doing dailies for that low number without them running out.
Either raise their BP rewards or make them repeatable, either would work imo.
Yeah I think the numbers would be good as repeatable quests. I do think the first completion should still give a lot more as you suggested in your original post, even if they made these repeatable.
-
Agreed with most points on here.
Another point I think is worth adding is that the bloodpoints are way way worse from the dailies. A daily ritual used to give 30000 minimum up to a maximum of 60000.
Today I have 3 dailies that give 2500 bloodpoints each - sure there's the added improvement of them being role agnostic, but a total of 7500 bloodpoints per day is extremely low and just a straight up massive downgrade from what we had. -
I believe this achievement was changed to only require doing this once instead of 30 times as it was worded poorly and complained about before.

I literally just versed a Blight who was abusing this bug. P100, double Ultra Rare Blight abusing a bug to give himself even more of an advantage. So dumb. People are gonna abuse the hell out of this bug. No reason for them not to at this point since the Devs haven't said it's bannable yet
Using a bug to gain an advantage is by definition exploiting which is very much bannable. Just submit a report and hopefully they get what they deserve.
-
Apparently this was actually fixed!
Now lets pray for the Oni one. -
This was also the case for the Oni weapon from a few rifts ago, was also reported and kept the same sadly. Hope they end up fixing this eventually.
-
This is oddly similar to the report I linked below, feel like this might be an issue on every map that has a drop like this.
-
Potential Energy should've been killswitched the moment this was posted, I don't understand why BHVR is so hesitant on using a feature that was specifically made to combat these kind of exploits/bugs.
-
Hope they fix this asap, this makes playing miserable.

Not fixed. I faced 3-4 SWF team today, 1 most likely Epic Gamer (icon) and 2 Steam players, all they were anonymous Aces. Shouldn't they fix/patch this, tbh? They knew my Steam name (I have public profile on Steam, tho) despite I have anonymous mode turned on whole game session.
I found out later that this person has a lobby loader and was essentially cheating (semi-high level comp player btw). Uses it on stream & displays everyone's MMR, is forced to swap accounts like twice a week but twitch allows it for who knows what reason.
There is a vulnerability, but it's the same vulnerability that causes cheats to be possible, doubt they will be able to truly fix it unless they overhaul a ton of stuff.
-
I sent myself to Midwich & tried to recreate this but wasn't able to. Has it happened multiple games or was this game just a one off?
-
Despite being a way too large map, it also just has way too many deadzones. It also has an extreme lack of lockers, it's not too bad on huntress/trickster, but especially for Dredge it feels like playing with half a power.

It would keep you from losing OTR, too.
Well not really, no collision doesn't mean they can't hit you. Just means they can't prevent you from running away. They could still just hit you and get rid of the OTR/BT.

The crowns were supposed to be a one time thing as well, but BHVR went back on that and made it so putting in a code gives you all of them for free. That's why they should scrap the idea of the legacy Cosmetics being one time only Cosmetics and instead make them a P100 reward for those who put in the work to get them. As for anyone that has legacy Cosmetics currently(the 50 people who do), they get to keep them, similar to how players kept their bloody skins when the blood web changes happened.
You say they were supposed to be, but unlike with legacy skins it was never explicitly stated that they were going to be a one time thing. They are very much different, one was an expectancy and the other was a promise.
Whilst I understand to you that doesn't mean much, and I also am aware there's very few legacy players left, it still isn't a compromise that should generally be made - it reflects poorly and overall tends to break player trust.

Think it's been suggested many times by now, but just posting it again.
In my opinion the solution would be to invert map offerings, rather than being guaranteed to go to x map it should prevent you from going to x map.
Being able to rule out a few maps is much less powerful than the current state, it would also mean no refunds since map offerings would just get a functionality change rather than being removed all together.
I would also suggest with inverting map offerings to give sacrificial ward a new functionality, rather than making it prevent any map offerings, make it prevent any map alterations. So bringing a sacri ward disables any map affecting offerings (like specific basement spawn, hatch spawn location, less/more hook distance, extra chests etc.)

The other part of it would be to remove collision for survivors so they can't body block and hit tank.
I can't tell you the amount of times I try to not tunnel and have someone that just got unhooked body block me from chasing their healthy ally.
We have all these perks to incentivize killers to not tunnel - things like the reworked Pain Res, the old BBQ and Chili (why in the world would they change that?), the reworked Grim Embrace, etc.
All the anti-tunnel perks on the survivor side are repurposed into "I can purposefully get in the way of the killer with my second chance perk" and then they complain about tunneling.
It's never going to be balanced unless we get the mentality changed in the community, or unless they make wildly radical changes to perks or base mechanics to prevent or greatly punish unfavorable playstyles. Neither of which is ever going to happen.
Making players not have collision in the anti-tunnel duration is probably the best solution to it all, killers can't bodyblock you, you can't bodyblock the killer. It would make for very healthy gameplay.

They ran an experiment a while back where some players couldn't see other players' prestige level - from what I remember it had quite conflicting feedback.
The main issue lies with the concept of prestige, which tends to be that people want to be able to show off, which the change of hiding prestige levels prevents.
I think ultimately the solution wouldn't be to do things like you suggest here, increasing the prestige level cap just pushes the same problem forward into the future and it would have to be increased over and over which really isn't worth it.
What in my opinion would be a good solution is to make players have an option to hide it, or perhaps 'mask' it.
Hiding it speaking for itself, those who want to show off can still show off so it keeps that kind of player happy.
To elaborate on masking prestiges; It would be a setting that would randomize your displayed prestige to a level below your actual prestige, this has the benefit of players of either side not being able to distinguish you from any other player (basically they wouldn't know you are not actually that prestige level), unlike with the hiding idea where they would be able to tell you've hid your prestige.
I think something similar to the masking concept is probably what would ultimately help players like yourself the most. Hiding it entirely just kills the concept of prestige for a lot of players. It's not worth the cost and prestiging would end up losing its prestige (hah a pun)

I think it's quite the mistake to keep releasing exclusive cosmetics, so I'm glad they re-released the crowns. They never should've been exclusive in the first place & should just be a recurring thing every anniversary.
I think re-releasing legacy is a step too far for a couple reasons; but the main one being that the game was relatively small back then and an initial promise was made that they would be one time rewards. I also think IF they were to re-introduce these, they should do this in a manner that's feasible & appealing to all players and not just those who play any of those 9 characters that initially had them. They could do this by releasing legacy-like skins for ALL characters (licensed included), it's probably not feasible though so I doubt they ever will.
The bloody portraits should never have been limited time, it was a terrible decision to make those exclusive. What in my opinion they should've done there is give them to everyone who had p-3 prior to the update (who got the portrait + prestige 10) and make them obtainable to everyone else at like prestige 25.
The bloody portraits are horrible in design in several ways;
- Exclusive player-side only cosmetic (nobody else can see you have it)
- Not every character has one, so if you have it enabled, it just stops halfway through the list.
- Not obtainable beyond the initial release which was somewhat short notice.
I think bringing bloody portraits back and not releasing exclusives like the crowns again going forward would be the way to go.
Also special mention to these other things that are still exclusive that shouldn't be and will probably not come back for another 10 years (or ever);
- 'Rare' rift cosmetics like Ice/Blue Trapper/Hillbilly
- Twitch Prime charms/skins
- Rift Charms
- Rift Banners
- Rift Badges
(pls bring those back in some way)

No, but they shouldn't be able to find out my steam name in the first place, that's the whole point of anonymous mode.

There is no vulnerabilty. the epic player was using lobby detector which showing the killer they facing include the profil if available.
That's what I suspected too, only reason I figured this might be a vulnerability is because this was a semi-high profile competitive player - who does in fact stream to a reasonable amount of followers. I submitted a player report as well so it's being looked into there as well, just wanted to make sure that they were aware of it, just incase there is an actual vulnerability.

Could you attach a screenshot of the addon description on your side? Does state it clearly on my end.
-
Posting again since I didn't see if you replied last time, can you still get even higher by playing more games?

Did you by any chance go over through challenges, redeeming a code or daily rituals? Can you still continue earning if you were to play a game right now?

I believe they said it wouldn't make flashlight saves easier.
I am honestly fine with it either way. I constantly run Shadowborn and just the thought to free that perk slot is great.
Funnily enough Shadowborn does make flashlight saves easier by just a little bit. Very happy to get my fourth perk slot back though.

I think the big concern with it is that it feels like you're powerless when it gets used against you.
The only real counter is keeping the person who has it injured, but then again sometimes you don't even know it's in play until it's too late and it costs you the game, especially for weaker killers or worse players, when a chase already costs you a gen if not more, it feels very bad to have it taken away from you with extremely little you can do, you lose almost all your pressure that instant.
Especially during the current meta, first of all you have to ensure nobody sneaks in during your weapon cooldown animation after downing the survivor, then it's already a question, are they under a pallet, then you have to wonder is there some angle they could flashlight save from. Especially after the background player buffs, it's not as easy as it used to be.
I don't think many killer players concern is a strong combo existing, at least it's not mine. I'm all for buffing survivor perks and adding more variety, same thing for killer perks, I'd love more variety. But when a combo exists that feels so uncounterable and unfun from one side, it should get changed. The same that happened to other perks before like Eruption.
It doesn't have to be an us vs them, all unhealthy perks, or perk combinations should be addressed, no matter what side they are on.

Did you also get Merciless Victory or simply the kills?
This was changed a while back, Merciless Victory is now directly tied to killing all 4 survivors by any means. (see https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/369)
The bug in this case would be it not correctly granting a merciless victory through either bleeding someone out or the mori.
-
I double checked ingame, and the description wildly varies from the Wiki one you've included in your post. The wiki is often off when it comes to descriptions, would recommend checking it ingame to get the correct conditions and effects of the perk.
Ingame the description actually doesn't show it as a condition at all and simply states that survivors entering your terror radius scream, reveal their position and gain blindness.
-
With the addition of the player cards feature this has been re-located, press the badge (black box in my case) at the top corner of your screen to access it. In there you will find your devotion & killer/survivor grades.
-
This is intended, the reason the special items were split was to make it so you didn't have to drop your normal items to interact with killer powers. In this case not being able to use items is the downside of grabbing & holding a tape.
-
Can confirm this bug, requires fixing asap. He's literally unplayable in this state.
-
I barely notice anything different from how it sounded when on PTB, it's still very awful and gives me a severe headache and it's ruined playing vs or as ghostface for me.
