I’ve probably put thousands of hours into this game and not once has the dc penalty ever been of benefit nor have I seen it actually be useful. Of anything the dc penalty has only stopped me from playing the game whether it was issues with servers, hackers or the occasional rage ( it happens lol). So, I just played trapper with jolt, overcharge, NOED, and sloppy butcher on the swamp map and idk why but there was no chase music when I chased a survivor, the chase was not initiated so I got no bloodpoints under the chase category, and also no bloodlust. I support the decision to add in-game voice chat(Survivors talk and killers can't hear) and I really HOPE BHVR will. My thoughts if they will, they should add a mute button, making holding a key bind such as TAB to bring up a player HUD of each player and add a mute button or something. I've been playing several games with new character Sable, I noticed that Bite the Bullet doesn't work either when I self-heal with Self Care, or when I heal others. At first I thought it was a perk bug maybe Bite the Bullet is bugged to not work with Self Care, but later when I switched to Yui they work perfectly together.
