So as we all know wraith recently got buffed and in terms of his basekit he’s in a really good place now. However since wraith players now have both addon slots open at high rank play we are seeing some complaints. We all know the ones I’m talking about with the all seeing blood and the silent bell. I was playing wraith in red ranks and came across a 4man. They played well and brought it to end game where I clutched out a 3k I let one get out through gate. In endgame chat they expressed that wraith was broken and way too strong but...I don't see his changes as a negative at all. They took what made him kinda weak and made these aspects better. Trickster has two core issues. Issue 1 - His time to down is atrocious and Survivors at high laceration can buy time by abusing his 110 speed to delay hits for ridiculous amounts of time since he doesn't gain bloodlust from the knives. Coldwind used to be one of my favorite maps. The new lighting in this update is absurd. This game should NOT feel like you're playing in the middle of the god damn day. Now I know we have also lost players, but those are very minor losses, we just got 3701 players, just minus that by 587 and we still have 3114 people who stayed after April. i can tell devs are working to clean up the game, and I’ve seen their new rework of the mental hospital and Thompson house, and they are amazing! For reference, Gearhead and Coup de Grace were deemed too strong, despite neither being particularly good. If Lucky Break's considered balanced enough to bring to live, then I have a feeling we're going to see a lot of Stridor spirits. Seriously, though, why were Gearhead and Coup nerfed? Basically one totem will always light up with no effect from the very start. When cleansing that totem nothing happens. If the killer brings ruin for example then there would be 2 lit totems in the trial. If a killer brings 4 hex perks that would light up 5 totems then of course these 5 totems are only occupied by the perks you carry. I was hoping that they would add something for the Killer, a small buff for main event, because, they wouldn't leave the weakest killer like this after giving him a very small buff. I was worried that the Devs were gonna keep the Victor nerf when they changed the sucessful pounce cooldown from 3 to 5 seconds BUT they saved it. "Victor can now move during the successful pounce cooldown" Thank god they saved my child. We have Silent Hill in the game, and Resident Evil coming soon. Two huge franchises that have made a tremendous impact on the horror genre as we know it. Now in my opinion, Outlast will complete DBD's trinity of most popular horror games. Never ever noticed this in the almost-5 years that i've played this, but Unrelenting is Wraith's Azarov's Axe. Is this the game telling us that Wraith is more prone to miss? 😜 Also: It shows blood trails, but the Perk is all about recovering from misses and last time i checked, missing a hit doesn't draw blood. Just had my first few games of Wraith since they fixed the lunge bug, and wow. I'd imagined the extra speed as being something akin to the old green Windstorm, but now Wraith moves at something that feels close to Billy speeds? What the hell is the point of Windstorm add-ons now? So I had a match where two ppl did absolutely nothing. I got 9 hooks, with only 3 gens done. Instead of then unhooking the Meg that did the 3 gens herself, going down twice saving them. I assumed theyd save her, even went across the map. Nope nada. They got hatch with a key from a chest with no plunders. I took this as a forfeit from them and as a win. Wraith has been for the longest time one of the most balanced killers in the game both in terms of statistics and risk/reward. An easy killer with a simple gameplan and simple ideas behind it. Killer isn't fun. It gets worse and worse the higher you rank up. Playing a weak Killer against top tier Survivors is literally a machoistic bully simulator. So why do most people play it? Bloodpoints. When you're good at Killer you can realistically get 28-32k points every game plus all four BBQ Stacks without doing literally anything or having to play around the perk at all for +100%. 56k to26 comments 451 views last activity
