These were Bug fixes and QoL adjustments. They didn't gut him like legion, they tweaked some things since he could be very broken in some situations. I'd know, I played him in PTB, and plan to main him. His addons were a bit OP, and it was nigh impossible to break his stealth midchase. Plus it makes sense that pallets break it. Mettle of Man: We have changed the condition for getting tokens. It is no longer for being hit by a Killer's basic attack. Instead earn tokens by taking "Protection Hits". It still requires 3 tokens to activate. Survivors will still need to be injured in order to trigger the Endurance effect and avoid being put into the dying state. Ghostface's design has counterplay, and he doesn't have anything that makes a top tier killer what they are anyways. No map control, no mobility, no anti-loop/pallet power. He's mid-tier, and doesn't deserve or need any tweaking. There wasn't even a lot of people saying he needed nerfs to begin with. The same thing happened with Plague when she was nerfed on release. I don't know if it just happens for me but every time I have to download an update for PC I have to download two, one normal and then another one after verifying the files. It's not exactly why you nerfed him, it's that you decided to. The man really doesn't have that much going for him. His stalk is only reliable when survivors aren't expecting it, and even then he struggles. The man is a basic M1 with almost zero counterplay to loops. Yes, MoM is getting changed. A lot earlier than I expected, to be honest, so props to the devs. But we should NEVER forget about what an abomination this perk is. The mere fact that this iteration of MoM ever made it to live - no, that it ever made it to the testing realm even - shows that the playtesting for this game has some serious problems. it's a thing now to change sounds every update ? i had sound issues on 2.7.0, but turned out to be from me , after a file integrity check, problem solved. but now on 3.0.0 all files are ok, successfully validated, and still NO chase music, heartbeat volume is low, you don't know if killer is close to you or it's further away... settings are default (music 100% but in menu sounds like 5% , in1 comments 122 views last activity

In response to the replies: Some Killers might camp a little farther than within the threatening range; which they will have made a mistake. Secondly, if the devs like this idea, there are ways to disable the Killer from hitting you right away after unhooking yourself, this way you have a chance at a new chase.
